Absolutely wonderful service and atmosphere. Had a pedicure and full set redone on my nails. Was in and out within 1 1/2 hours.. Great techs💝💝

The staff was really rude for no reason, they failed to mention that for more than 4 colors there as an extra charge, and that if you get a coffin shape for your nails it’s also an up charge. the reasoning i was given is because they have to file it, despite the fact you would have to file it anyways…. then she missed the edges of my nails completely with the second coat. in addition to that, she was very rough when filing my nails and my nail beds are in a lot of pain because she was in such a hurry, and she filed into my mail beds on the side. overall this nail salon isn’t worth the money.

Best place in Joplin! I have a couple of favorite girls, Hannah being one of them. But if theyre too busy I have liked all the other people that did my nails. Everyone is friendly and theyre quick! It is a busy place but worth the wait!

They never disappoint! I went in with my hands full today and my newborn with me. Another nail tech helped feed the baby while I got my nails finished. So sweet of her. They always make me feel comfortable while Im there as well. Wont go anywhere else!

I traveled from kC to visit my best friend and she took me to this amazing salon! Hands down the best experience of my life! The staff are so personable, and EXTREMELY talented in their craft! It’s a poppin place so expect to wait if you walk in but it is so worth it!!

Long waiting times. Communication is difficult. And you never know how much it will cost. Quality completely depends on which technician you get.

Good staff and an amazing variety of colors. I got my nails done here yesterday and I’m totally obsessed! However, they were $84 for a simple set. The guy also tore up my cuticles because he was being too rough, ouch! Other than the pain of both my wallet and my cuticles, I’ll come back!

I’ve got my nails done here before but never dip. I had dip done a couple weeks ago and got them taken off at a different salon. I had FUNGUS on 6 of my nails!! Disgusting. I was so embarrassed. Now I have to get a prescription, apply medication and pray they don’t fall off while I walk around with green fingernails until it grows out. Never coming here again.

Always a pleasant experience. They can get busy and backed up; but, that is because theyre really popular. If that might be a problem, I recommend that you make an appointment.

Super busy but still took me as a walk in. After setting me at a pedicure chair they offered me a beverage - water, soda or margarita was available. The person who did my nails was Pink. She gave me an amazing Lavender pedicure & a full set acrylic with gel polish. Cant wait to go back.

Yvonne did a wonderful job on my finger nails! I came in with a picture on pinterest not sure if it was something they would be able to do, since it was quite extravagant but, she accepted the challenge! She took her time making sure my nails were evenly shaped. She added colorful marbling, precise lines, glitter, and jewels really giving them her own unique touch. We had several onlookers during the whole process who were just as excited to see the finished product as myself. They turned out absolutely beautiful!Anne who did my pedicure also did a fabulous job. She gave me the rock star pedicure which made my skin feel so soft, like babies feet. She was delicate but firm when massaging my legs and feet. She also helped me to pick out colors for my toe nails that complimented my finger nails. I absoutley loved how they turned out!I have never had a bad experience with Rock Star nails & Spa. The whole staff is always polite and friendly. Even at their busiest times they seem to move guests through in a timely manner while still doing a great job. They always offer a beverage while you wait and check on you frequently. They are by far the cleanest salon Ive been to in Joplin. Kudos to the whole team at Rock Star Nails, you have quite the establishment and I would recommend you to anyone. My pedicure was fantastic! Vicky was very detailed with trimming a difficult nail to making sure I was pleased with the polish I chose. This was the BEST pedi massage I’ve received anywhere!

Ive tried a lot of nail places in Joplin trying to find one where I can get consistently good service. Rock Star is by far the best. They have a very large selection of colors to choose from in all kinds of polish - regular, gel, powder. Also lots of additions - foil, ombre, jewels, glitter etc. Evelyn is amazing with great attention to detail, never rushes.

Got my first dip manicure here and they were great! The technician did just what I wanted and the final product was great! Get your nails done here for a great finish and great experience.

I was not happy with my experience in getting my nails done . I needed a fresh set but before that I needed the old set taken off which requires soaking my nails in acetone which takes a certain period of 8- 12 mins. My nails are thin & brittle so I had already informed Katie, the receptionist staff when I was checking in that,I cannot afford to have the electric nail drill used on my nails. Yes it may be faster to remove old nail polish off, but any use of it would just cause further nail damage & injury on my already sensitive nails. Once I got seated and it was my turn to get a manicure set, the tall nail tech started me off with the electric nail drill to take the old nail polish off! I wasn’t happy with that & immediately told him I needed the other method which was acetone soaking. He seemed really mad when I addressed the issue but he still did bring the acetone to soak my nails in. Once he got it done, he was supposed to Wait for the nails to soak in but he choose not to wait & did it rather so in a rush & just completely rough manner . So I told him he should slow down & the only thing he did was just laugh it off & started talk non English conversation to his fellow coworker. I completely lost interest in him giving me the service & quickly got out of the chair in fear of being embarrassed further.,To me that was really really disrespectful to be belittled. For a customer who pays diligently & tips & has enjoyed your services since 2019, I’m utterly disappointed & don’t recommend this nail shop.

I made an appointment at 1030 walked in around 1020 & was seated exactly at my time. the lady took time & did my nails very well! i got full set gel & it ran me $45. price was not bad at all! my nails turned out great. the workers went right behind you & cleaned the areas. would recommend this place to everyone! :)

Nice open shop. People are very nice. Big tv to watch if you choose. You can have wine or a frozen margerita drink while you get worked on. They have nice extras like charcoal detox for your legs or green tea detox, several nice choices. My made my toenails look great!

It was beautifully clean. Everyone was well mannered and well kept. They were very professional. However, the young lady that did my nails was either very new, or not ver knowledgeable. I wanted my nails almost coffin shaped, but not quite there. I wanted them to be the same on both hands. I wanted semicolons .... They arent smooth at all. They arent the same length or width. The polish is darker on one finger then the other. There was not enough attention paid to the nails to actually make them look good. I am disappointed in my service. If I knew how to share pics I should... it is not as I had expected it to be from the reviews I saw.

I’ve only been to one nail salon other than this one and I refuse to go anywhere else! Rockstar is so clean and the workers are so friendly. Any time I want special nail art, I show my technician and they have no problems getting it done for me! They also offer you free water or sodas to sip on when you’re getting pampered!

My friend and I both went and we were each not happy with the results. For my nails I requested 5 colors and the lady that was doing them grab one of the wrong colors. When I corrected her she gave me a judgemental look and told me they were the colors I picked until I asked to see the notecard which had the colors I picked written on them. She grabbed the correct color but did my nails terribly. They ended up uneven and sloppy.My friend wanted to get dip on acrylics and they told her they can’t do that (which they have done for me before) and so she picked a gel color but they did not paint the polish to the skin so it looked like she had already worn them for weeks.One star for good pricing but not worth it.

Very nice salon. This was my first time here for a pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure was so nice, even offered me water or a soda. It was clean and I liked that they use disposable plastic liners the the foot bath. I’ll be back. 😊

I went to get my nails done with some friends to celebrate my birthday this weekend. I chose a color for my pedicure and was told there was a dip manicure color to match by a nail technician. When I went to sit down for my manicure, another nail technician said they didn’t have that color in dip. I asked if she could find what they had that was closest to my toe color and went with that. She started prepping my nails for the dip powder and grazed my skin with the drill (ouch) but didn’t say anything. My friend who was next to me later asked if I was getting a matching color to my toes and I said no because they didn’t have a match. At this the nail tech slammed down her drill and told me to get up and go pick a different color. I said I wanted the color that was on the table (since that was what she said was closest to my toe color) and she again said to go pick another color to match. After this and the angry vibes that she was putting off, I felt super uncomfortable with her so I said I no longer wanted a manicure (nothing was on my nails yet). Unsurprisingly, she walked away and started putting her supplies away without saying another word to me.I went to pay for my pedicure and the receptionist was friendly and insisted I take some coupon cards even after refusing them two times (I don’t plan on going back). I went over to Humble Bees Nail Spa and the lady getting her nails done next to me said she stopped going to Rockstar because the same thing happened to her. 😅

The only place I will go to get my nails done! Would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

Had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Me and my best friend were extremely disrespected by the staff, we had services done that we did not even ask for and were charged for those services. They are extremely overpriced especially whenever they charge you for anything and everything without your permission. The manager then threaten to call the cops on me and my best friend because we disagreed with him. I wouldn’t rate that place Sanitary either, 100% poor quality nails and nail techs. Don’t go unless you want to be overcharged and taken advantage of

I spent 100 dollars here on Saturday, October 10th.I will not be going back ever again.I got a deluxe pedicure and a gel manicure with a blood design for Halloween.The woman who did it didnt bother to fully remove the old toe nail polish, cut my cuticle super deep and upsold me on a gel manicure saying it wouldnt chip for weeks and was a better choice for the money.Its Monday the 12th and almost every finger has a chip. The design is poor and my toenails apparently werent given a top coat either.When I told them this over Facebook they said they would refund me 20 dollars....Dont bother, they take your money and rush you out the door.

This place is an amazing place to get pampered. Everyone here is super friendly, and the place is clean. The prices are fair for the services offered and they accept walk-ins! Appointments are also available, but the wait times are short with the several staff members being ready to service you!

I absolutely adored getting my nails done here!!! I didnt even have a clear picture of what I wanted or which type of nail I wanted and they were SO incredibly helpful and patient as I went through their samples, and even as I pulled out my phone and did internet searches for a cute accent nail idea, and amazingly, they EVEN were able to accomplish the CUTEST nail design that I never couldve come up with without their and the internet searches help!! THANKS ROCK STAR NAILS & SPA!!!!! Yall are AWESOME!!!

Classy, efficient salon. Had at least 12 pedicure massaging chairs, including 2 Hello Kitty chairs for girls. Had a menu of interesting pedicure options; prices were very reasonable. I had the basic pedicure this time (for $25) and was pleased. The staff was friendly. The place was busy but I didn’t wait long for my chair. This will be my new go to place for pedicures!!

This is an exceptionally clean salon. They did a great job. We had 5 women, sat us together, offered beverages, and rarely talked as we were visiting. We had a fabulous time.
