The staff was nice, and offered the complimentary beverage and snack right off the bat. I got the HumbleBee’s Signature Pedicure. The “hot stone massage” lasted about 25 seconds, and was only done on my shins. The guy who did my whole service left for some time while the paraffin wax set up, and it became itchy. I did NOT get the 10 minutes of massage that is listed in the service. When my polish was complete, I sat for maybe 5 minutes before another staff started trying to put my shoes on (which is not enough time for regular polish to set up). I left at 7:51 (appointment time was 6:30, but I’m not angry about the time spent there). After that, I went to Walmart and was there until roughly 8:15. When I got home (around 8:20), I went inside and started working on laundry while standing. By 9:15, my polish had collected pet hair, bubbled in the center on each nail, and rubbed entirely off the middle of my right pinkie toe. The polish didn’t even last 2 hours. I was willing to take what I could get until my polish came off. I DIDN’T EVEN SIT DOWN OR TAKE MY SHOES OFF! Humble Bee’s: use better products. IF I do go back here, I will not be getting polish on my toes. Very disappointed.

I had read great reviews of this salon, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I paid extra for the hard callus removal, but the woman next to me paid for the same service & received double the amount of time having her calluses removed as I did. I looked around & noticed other ladies being served snacks. My tech, Kelly, never offered me anything other than a drink. Then after I left I realized she never even painted one of my toes & got a random piece of glitter on the big toenail somehow, which doesn’t match all the others. My feet are still rough & now I have to repaint my nails. Don’t waste your money here.

I damaged my cuticle on my right index finger and it kept ripping into the quick so went there looking to find a way to repair the cuticle. I dont think they have that kind of training but 3 times I have received dipped nails. I always am happy with my nails & I go 3 to 4 weeks between appointments. Sam has done all 3 times. I did go once to another place by the mall & had glue everywhere & the dip didnt cover the nails (they made no attempt to do the repairs) so sticking with Sam.And I will tell you that if you pay for your service & leave knowing you are not happy with your service then that is on you. I tell Sam what I want corrected & she always fixes it. I have had her fix thick spots, glue under the nails, reshaping, trimming etc. This is to be expected. She is never upset & always gives me what I pay for. She is always a delight & very professional.I will try the pedicure next & see if they do a good job or not. If I still have any callus when they are done I will say something before I pay!

My friend and I had appointments today and experienced an issue with the wait times. As we were leaving my friend explained the issue to the owner who was argumentative instead of apologetic. We walked out at the end of the conversation when the owner told us we “wouldn’t stop talking” and things seemed to be escalating. My friend left without her manicure but was still charged for polish removal (that was done herself with her nails soaking in acetone) despite the issue. Let me say that again… she was charged even when she left with BARE nails! 🤯Good customer service is owning up to mistakes made and being honest. Instead we were blamed and ridiculed for the mistakes made during our visit that were out of our control. We are not the type of people that complain everywhere we go just for the sake of complaining so this was especially disheartening for us. My friend and I have been loyal customers of this salon for months but sadly will not be returning.Edited to remove details in attempt to end the disagreement but will say below is not what we experienced. I feel like the response to my review speaks volumes.

Best nail salon in Joplin! I always make my appointment in advance online, so I never have to wait more than a couple minutes when I get there. Their service for dip powder is super quick even with removing my old set- around 1 hour. The price is also very reasonable for removal and new set. They have such a great selection of colors to choose from!Mia is my go-to technician now because she is very technically skilled and does my nails perfectly! She is able to get my nails with the dip powder thin and comfortable- no clunky nails here. She doesn’t over file my nails either, so I don’t have thin, damaged nails. My nails last 3-4 weeks before I have to get them redone.

Very disheartened by the experience my friend and I had here yesterday. We came for our pedi and dip appointments and waited a little bit after our appointment time which was no problem. Throughout the appointment we waited while the technicians attended to other customers, to where my friend had her toes and nails completed before mine were started. My nails were started on after waiting much longer, I requested to have my nails wrapped with acetone rather than soaked in the bowl (due to a previous injury on one finger) and then was left for a while before anyone came back.At that point my friend and I decided to leave. The owner then charged me a full amount+ more to remove the dip I had on and became very aggressive! (you can see from the pics the state they left my nails in!) 😳I had never been treated that way before, we were shocked and paid the full amounts and left. I had not experienced leaving a salon with my nails in worse shape yet still being charged. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Humble Bees due to the lack of integrity with which the owner treated my friend and I *injury to nail not caused by salon, it is a previous injury*

Was referred by a friend and Im so glad she did! My daughter and I went for a mani/pedi for some much needed mother/ daughter bonding time after having my son. This was our first experience and it was amazing! She felt like a real princess and did great the whole time (surprisingly)! The specialist that did my nails was Mia, who was very focused and diligent with her work. I had no idea what to expect with a dipping but she was quick, efficient and made sure i knew what i wanted. I was so impressed with this place! I was a walk-in but they managed to fit me in for a pedicure. The spa is so clean and I love the decor as well as the peaceful vibe. The stations are sanitized consistently and gorgeous, the chairs are so comfortable. I received the Signature Humble Bees Pedicure with gel polish and LOVED IT! The gentleman who took care of me was extremely professional and very kind. He made sure I felt comfortable and talked to me throughout. I was pleased with the results and I will definitely be going back.

I went for my first time today and got a pedicure and ombre dip nails with art. I have been to several places in town and I have never left so happy. Not a single complaint. They were professional and attentive. They did what I asked and were pleasant. I made my appointment for next time. I will say if you want to get in, you probably should make an appointment. They are a popular place.

Go every 2-3 weeks. Clean. Love decor. Feel safe as far as disinfected tub. Quin is always fun. Gives advice if asked. Lots of colors. Never break a nail. Gives monetary incentives. Dont go anywhere else.

I came in with my two active and loud kiddos and the staff was so kind and patient with us. It was a very chill environment and although I tried to keep my kids quiet, everyone was very kind and understanding. My pedicure was incredible! Also, the kids got to sit in these very pretty chairs that made them feel like royalty. The staff was so patient with their various demands 😂 it was a fun time. Highly recommend this place! I also highly recommend hiring a sitter bc going with kids is NOT relaxing 😂 but sometimes it is what it is.

First time visiting this place for a girls day with my best friend. We chose this place based off of good Google reviews.I wish we had the same experience as what I read on Google!We have no idea what the names of the guys were who worked on our feet, they did not speak to us unless it was to ask about the service we were requesting. Both of our pedicures were rushed. They barely scrubbed on our feet, leaving our feet feeling rough not soft at all looking just like what they did when we walked in. My friends toes are very uneven and not fully painted. I have no complaint about the colors we picked because they are the same as the swatch they had us choose from.We will not be returning to this place.$50 for a service I feel could have been done myself.

I dont usually get pedicures, so everytime Ive come in as a walk-in they always get me seen in a reasonable time. Theyre very professional and clean, they are very respectful and friendly with their customers. I personally will continue going to Humble Bees for pedicures and manicures because they never take too long and take really good care of your feet and hands

I live up in the KC area, but was down in the area visiting family. We decided to take a girls day and get pedicures at this salon. Very nice atmosphere, cute aesthetic. They provide complimentary drinks and snacks, which was super awesome. There was inconsistent service because multiple employees seemed to be working on customers. It was a completely different person finishing my nails than who started them; and it took an hour and a half to get done in total. It was an overall pleasant experience though and I can’t complain.

I got a set of acrylics and I had an appointment. The wait wasnt too bad. The only issues I had was the lady that was doing my nails was trying to do mine and another woman next to me at the same time. She started doing my nails first and when the other woman came in she apologized and told her that someone else was supposed to do mine nails but started doing someone else. Not a big deal. It was when she started rushing with my nails that I had a problem because now my nails are bumpy and one of my nails has a gouge in it from her trying to shape my nails so quickly. I am definitely going to go back and give them another chance. Hopefully my next experience will be better.Edit: I went back and Brittany did my nails and she did an amazing job! I will definitely be going back.

This salon was very beautiful! I’ve been to many salons in the Joplin area to get my nails done and I was so tired of hearing “we can’t do that design”. At Humble Bees they CAN do your design! I showed my nail tech (Zoey) a picture of what I wanted and she was quick to say that she could do it with no problem! I was so relieved to hear that someone could actually do my nails the way I wanted. All the employees were very nice and respectful and there was a great atmosphere. Humble Bees is where I will be going to get my nails done every time!

Brittany did an excellent job with helping me make a decision that was best for me and carrying out my idea for nail art design.Kim made my little girl feel like a spoiled princess and did her(Tiny little nails) just like she wanted her to! The princess pedicure chairs are just perfect for little girls!We had a great time and really loved the results.

I was really excited to come here because all Ive seen are good things about it but unfortunately my experience was just okay. For starters, I didnt get the nail tech I had asked for in my appointment, I was serviced 12 mins later than the appointed time (which I wasnt upset about because they were busy and I understood) and the nail tech I had gotten rushed the job and 5 days later the gel on my nails is cracked and has started to come off.

In comparison to other nail salons in Joplin, I received some of the best customer service at Humble Bees Nail & Spa. The space was clean (no rips, tears, or stains on any chairs), sanitary (no dead skin in the foot baths and they used sterile tools), the employees were very attentive (gave us a snack as soon as we sat down), excellent callus removing service (literally the best I’ve ever had), and the space is just SO cute. They even have little privacy curtains separating sets of chairs so you can have more privacy. I highly recommend this nail salon🤩

She done a good job on my toes but my feet I’ve had to take my own scrub tool and get the dead skin off my bottom of my feet, I shouldn’t have had to do that.

Humble Bee is the best place to get your nails done at. They can do very detailed designs and it looks amazing. No other place would I got for a mani or pedi and I’ve been to a lot in the Joplin area. They are always super welcoming and always ask if you want a drink and a snack. Best nail salon hands down. I will always go there!

This was the most I’ve ever paid for gel nails and the shortest amount of time til they started chipping. I went a week ago and my nails are already chipping and needing redone. My friend and I had an appointment had to wait 15 minutes for the lady to come back to do her nails to leave again. By the time they got to do her nails someone who walked in was half way done. They were very nice and clean but too expensive for the quality I got.

My daughters and I had manicures and pedicures for pre-wedding here. They rushed us through, left marks on my feet .My daughter has cuts on her cuticles. She is 21 and has had many salon days . When brought to managers attention she apologized but still charged me full price stating that services rendered. We also had on tech fir 2 customers and they left me sitting for 25 minutes without talking to me or doing anything to my nails. I never doing get my done here. I will definitely be going somewhere else.

This place is the absolute best! Humble Bees has the kindest staff working there. Their business is very clean and their equipment/tools are sanitized very well. The pedicure I received was the best one ever. The massage chairs are so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. I recommend this place to everyone. I’ll definitely make a return here.

Love this place. Our new nail place. My friend had to get her nail fixed that came off, when she smashed her finger. They told her to come on in and they would fix it for free! That NEVER happens most places. They even tried to get us to try the dip instead of what we get cause its better for the nail. Thats pretty cool!

I am typically not one to leave reviews. But in this case, I had too. Let me start by saying that if anyone knows me, they know that I bite my nails excessively. Literally to the point where I have almost no real nails at all. So the fact that my nail tech was able to do anything with my nails to begin with, was a miracle in itself. But the fact that she was able to do such beautiful work on my nails, was even more astonishing! As to the other lady that works there, who kept walking around us and who had also pressed my nail tech for the time she had used in doing my nails, you were completely unprofessional! At least my nail tech took pride in the quality of her work and represented the nail salon with expertise and class. You, however- DID NOT! Thank you Brittany for actually taking the time and effort to do my nails, they are absolutely beautiful! I will be coming back to see you!!!

My husband and I both got pedicures and then I got a manicure and my nails dipped. I requested a design and Kayley did it with no issues, they turned out amazing. A lot of people said it was hot inside but we didnt think so and they do offer complimentary drinks. Well definitely come back!

Very disappointed. I read the reviews previous to going and almost all the ones that were negative with a reason was correct. The place was cute and the majority of everyone was nice as the should be but getting a pedi done they just pulled the gel polish off and pulled actually nail with it. In a lot of pain from that. And then when it came to nails the did good on the design but my nails are uneven. By a lot, luckily they grow out fairly quickly but its just awful to look at. They do put people ahead of you, while doing your nails. Doesnt seem they have enough workers for the people that come in. Lesson learned and wont be returning.
