I took my water resistant watch in to get a new battery. I have had the battery changed several times at different locations over the years. They changed the battery and i went on my way to a pool party. Later that day I see the watch has water in it, yes it had been in the pool and even the ocean many times before. Then the watch stopped working. I took the watch back to them and they tried to blame me saying I should of told them and a that it took 3 days for a pressure test on the watch. Then they called me a liar when I told them I had ha d the battery changed several time and never had a problem.So they said they fix it. One week later they say I can pick up my watch. After they had me sign for it and was walking out then they told me that it wasnt waterproof any more. I said it was when I brought it in and again they implied I was lying saying that it wasnt possible. Four day later my watch stopped working again! In my opinion these people can not be trusted!!

These people sold me a real silver chain for $340 4 weeks ago...the chain turned rusty after 2 uses! I went back to try to get my money back and the wanted to give me $32 after I paid $340!! He knows that he would take a big liss if he would even give me anything back!!! Very rude, and took this all as a joke! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!Now the same man that sold me the chain, gave me no receipt, no bag has the nerve to say I have no proof...he clearly admitted to knowing that was his Cheap piece of jewelry since they mark all their jewelry. And youre right, Im NOT used to buying fake silver for $340, and you wanting to offer me $32 to to buy it back....if it was real you could have given me at least $300 like I asked, and melted the chain but since its fake, you couldnt afford to take a big hit! Please just get the jewelry checked by a different jewelrer before paying for it because you will NOT get refunded!! Be very careful

I brought my watch here to be repaired and they gave me a quote. The repair was done on time and in budget. I was very happy since this is an inexpensive watch but has great sentimental value. Many other places told me to forget about it, it wasnt worth the effort. But the people here were willing to tackle this which I greatly appreciated. Even after it needed some tuning (it was running fast) they took it back and fixed it at no charge. I really like this place, they are dependable and willing to take on anything to make their customers happy. They are on my short list of jewelry repair shops in the Chicago area. Im a happy customer and will be back.

I took a custom made pendant to them for what I thought would be a simple repair, all they needed to do was add a very small piece of gold and weld (whatever you call it ) my husband asked if they could clean up as well. When they gave us back the pendant the engraved image was burned, tarnished barely visible. HEART BREAKING my husband and I cried in front of these people and they had the audacity to say it didnt have an image, it is an old old, you gave it to us like that they never accepted responsibility, they never said sorry. THIS PIECE WAS ONE OF A KIND MY HUSBAND LOST HIS MOTHERS and NOW HIS PRIZED POSSESSION Im up at 5am devastated by this situation

I was from out of town and did not expect to get service. I went to 3 different places who was not availbe to replace my battery But They were able to replace my battery instantly within seconds. Great service!

Horrible business. I had my watch repaired here, I wanted the crystal face replaced, a new gasket, and a new wrist strap.When I got the watch back, the stop watch was broken and indicated zerod out at 15 minutes. I understand making a mistake, but then they tried to tell me was normal and argued with me about it. I told them it wasnt like that when I brought it in and Id like them to fix it. They finally agreed, and after 15 minutes of tinkering around, they got the stop watch to function normally, but now its permanently zerod out at 1 minute. For a watch repair facility, I wouldnt trust them to not cause more problems in the process of fixing it.All in all, I paid about double the amount that I had when I got the exact same services done at a different watch repair facility, and it took a week longer than advertised.EDIT: The owner is now claiming I am a scam even though I have had multiple phone conversations with him. He refused to offer any kind of refund, but has offered to fix the watches timer, which is still slightly off, but I wouldnt trust them to do something even as simple as that. He has asked me on the phone to take the review down, and even gone as far as to threaten me with contacting google to tell them my profile is illegitimate. Great business practices guys. Keep digging the hole. If I could give you negative stars, I would.
