Very nice place for families to stay when a little one is in the hospital. It is very homey. This is my favorite charity!! Whenever I go to a McDonalds I always donate some change. A very worthy cause!!
This is an excellent place. That help folks that have a child in the hospital. Our granddaughter was in there for 10 days and their parents were able to stay there. If after going to McDonalds you have spare change please donate it.
Excellent charity! The ladies that work here are wonderful and truly care about the families staying there and always ask about how your baby is doing. They provide support and encouragement. Each family has a private bedroom/bathroom, a hot meal every single night, play rooms, tv rooms, games, puzzles, books to read, etc.
After giving birth to a premature baby, we stayed there while our daughter was in the NICU. I cant tell you how grateful we are for the Ronald McDonald House after this experience. If I were going to encourage someone to donate to a cause or support a charity, it would be this one. Not only do they provide parents a place to stay, they provide meals, and more importantly, they make a difficult time a little less difficult for parents with a child in the hospital.
Had to stay here when I had my twin boys. They were absolutely amazing people and the rooms are set up like hotels! Loved it
Our stay at the Ronald McDonald House was a true blessing. The staff was always very kind and the food was always amazing! We had a premature baby across the lot and They definitely helped us out in our time of need.
My son was born at indian path by csection and was rushed to jc childrens hospital only 2days after being born. My family was very sad and concerned we all rushed straight over without anything to be by his side afyer all no one had got to hold him yet not even me. The nurses told us about the Ronald house bec they knew id need to be off my feet after such rough surgery. My family went over to see what it was and to my surprise was the absolute RUDEST greeting a torn family could have ever recieved. My father drove 6hrs to be here, My daughter was pregnant and had finally gotten a salad to eat after not being able to eat all day and we were met at the door by and old lady with no smile and told only the mother and father can stay here no one is allowed in ur room and no one can eat then looked my pregnant daughter straight in the face and said I hope you dont plan to eat that in here REALLY...and all ive ever heard is how great this place was WHAT then we were told this was not a hang out place we were to spend most time at the hospital...which is what we wanted anyways but i had just had major surgery and was at risk for bleeding to death was not suppose to be on my feet and suddenlyhad no choice. I can say if i was ever in that situation again id rather sleep on the street. After being treated like that by the two old women we seen there i would never and i mean never donate one penny to this awful place for them to dress up like a million dollars and treat hurting familys as careless and cold as my family was treated. My memories of my sons birth and my familys care will forever be devastating and sad bec of the treatment we recieved. My opinion if they plan to advertise how great they are in jc they need better frendly smiling faces at the door not old grumpy women. I understand a lot of people are giving birth to babies with drug related problems which is so very sad but they need to understand no all mothers are the cause of their babies complications so dont treat everyone like we are not worthy of kindness!

Very nice home located on JCMC grounds for relatives with children in pediatric units
I called to see if they could help a family, they only help if the child is under 18
