This mission uses item donations to help those in need, Whether the need be electricity assistance or food or rent or medical bills and food baskets.Donated items are sold in the thrift store and the proceeds minus the operating costs (rent, utilities, pay roll, vehicle maintenance)are DIRECTLY put back into the community! No one associated with the mission is driving a bentley or has a private jet or two mansions.

Gave me an old pair of coveralls and the food they give you to last 10 days basically lasts about 2... I know there is the melting pot and all of that jazz but they should step their game up and provide a little bit more food with better quality clothes... These coveralls are like rags man.I mean, come on, dont you run a thrift store? The whole ass end of the coveralls is out after one days use and I dont have anything to change into.

Wont help with clothing unless its due to a fire or flood.... Went to get help for clothes for me and my family and was turned away cause it wasnt due to fire or flood. Like I want to wear what I had on cause its fashionable. They have rows and racks full of clothes which is overpriced and a back room full of donations(they get for free) and they cant help with a few pieces of clothing.... I mean yall get the stuff for free so everything you sell is a profit. And its a thrift store/indoor yard sale so the prices should be yard sale prices. Movie prices shouldnt matter is there Disney or not either.

This store really serves the community from its heart. Mr Aaron Murphy is the shepard of this establishment. Very well laid out, large store. Everything from clothing, shoes, household items, furniture and baby items, including toys. Wheelchair accessible, wide aisles. Please stop in...youll find something you need😍

Thank you Good Samaritan for all your help, you have helped restore my faith in humanity and we have recommitted our life to Christ and have found a wonderful Church home. We knew that God required us to do the leg work and that is what we did. I know God could not help me unless I put forth effort to improve my situation. my husband has a good job and he also works on commission between May and July his business was significantly had dropped since last year through the grace of God this has been his best month ever, and we will get to see the results of his hard work on the 5th of September. My dog training and pet sitting business has taken a pretty big hit in those months. and I am working to improve and find ways to increase my business. Thank you Good Samaritan we would have lost our home if it wasnt for you!!!!

First I went to look for work as adveritised, I was not suited to the job due to new regulations. My now ex texted me last night to finish our relationship. A friend who I used to work for let me know about the job. However, I pondered over the manager of the stores advice to go and seek help for my winter heating bill. I am 57 honest and good hard worker but work has eluded me all this year no matter how hard I tried. I found that everyone to be so very kind and caring. As a woman with no children I did not know I could be given help to pay utilities. I had been turned away from another place when I became jobless. Not only did they take care of those needs I was also given a food box for which I am so grateful for. I pray that 2014 will take all who need help looking for work find a job. I need nothing more.

Will never in my life go back here for help or to volunteer. The personnel that work here are very rude, judgemental, ignorant, and lazy. Even the director and vickie of this program are judgemental how can u run an organization off the personnel that work there but yall judge every last person that walks in the door. I do not like the fact that if you need help the people who work here have the audacity to look down on you. I understand its a faith based organization but for you as a person to look down on somebody who has swallowed their pride when they are in need of help is completely disheartening. Whether it be homeless people, someone in need of food, gay people, or whatever the case may be you never do that because at the end of the day you have no idea what that person has been through or what they are dealing with for that day. Remember God dont like ugly you reep what you sow. So god be with this company.
