Such compassionate people I believe and feel that this Covid 19 is making a change on how people behave everyone is so much nicer to eachother and people can look at eachother better with masks on ( alot more people are looking forward and acknowledging eachothers presence) I feel alot of folks will see this post so it really has nothing to do anything about DHS I just wanted to post this somewhere DHS have always been the sweetest ppl I have met 😚🤭😎💞

The staff here has always been kind and compassionate from my experiences. Very helpful in navigating the often complicated processes with which they have to deal with. My family was very appreciative of their assistance and advising during our hard times. We were able to get the temporary assistance we required to get back to being stable and independent.

They were extremely helpful. Or even reviewing my case because of an error that I pointed out to them. The only problem I have with them is when you call in to the main number and after you sent for 5 minutes listening to options and it finally says hang on and someone will take your call nobody ever takes your call you are directed to an automatic answering machine and no one ever calls you back.

The people there are so great and so helpful. if I ever adopt I will go there they go above and beyond their duties to help anyone and are excellent with the animals there. God bless them all for what they do!

Nice people

Sometimes the staff can be a little rude, but given the case loads they have to handle its understandable. My rating is low not because of the staff, but because of the system itself. Documents are often misplaced, wait times are long, and case workers have too many clients. They work in tiny cubicles and this office looks like they got handed the scraps from an office that closed in 1995. I definitely couldnt do their job, but the way its set up has to be a nightmare for them to deal with.

If you need any help any social service(food stamps family first etc) stop by the office to ask questions. You maybe able to get some financial help.

Department of human services that says pretty much all you need to know he wait in line to wait another line to find someone to tell you to go back to the first line and tells you that the third line is really where you needed to be he starts you over the whole process then they ask you if you filled out the forms and you go all the way back to the beginning of the whole process

They really have the childrens best interest in mind......Great people

I use there services for the VOC rehabilitation center and they are awesome and I will be using them for as long as needed keep up the good work everyone

Rude case workers dont bother attempting to get any help if you are employed, honest and have a good coparenting relationship with your child(rens) other parent.

Why do they even pay a phone bill for this place?!! Huge waste of the States money because no one will answer the phone or return your call!!

Its true you cant reach them by calling this office. You have to call the 800 number or whatever because they have never answered when Ive called before and i end having to call the 800 or 888 which ever it is I forget but its on your letter you get in mail. Ive also had a worker that didnt call me on my appointment date twice! I had to call them back to get another appt. too. I couldnt believe it and if i had missed their call Id be in trouble so thats not fair. No explanation that day either. N other stuff like my appt i changed it while i was there but went to drop off papers a few weeks later and they still had my old appt that i had changed. i know because i got a letter a few days after that about the change and before i didnt get a letter that it was changed? So suddenly i got one saying it was changed right after that. So i believe it wasnt sent through or whatever .So i gave a 3 .

Jst had pprs faxed frm thm cancelling my sons ins tht was sup to take less than 30days n took 3mnths n his meds are $2,000mnth!

Nobody ever answers the phone. Been trying to get a hold of someone for a week now and i cant use the directory cause i dont know my workers name.!

The directions were confusing and the building is hard to find. Not to mention the entrance and exit are not clearly labled so I entered the wrong way.......

Either they are too busy to answer or for get to call back.idk wat number to call to find out why my snap Bens isnt on my card.if anyone knows what number please reply.😞😫
