Be sure to think twice on this company. They do shady business. This is twice I’ve tried to do business with them and have been burned. They sold a house right from under me to sell it to someone else for more money. They claimed my previous home needed to be sold prior to entering into a contract with them. I was very clear and honest from the start and told them exactly when I was putting my house on the market. This was told multiple times to them and they allowed me to go under contract anyways, just to turn around and say it was a breach of contract. Beware, beware, beware! In the end my house was sold before they were even half way finished with the house and I was ready before they completed the house. I ended up purchasing from another builder.Would not recommend this builder.

*** LONG POST ALERT****First I have never taken the time out to write a google review - ever- but there is no way i could let this experience pass me by without acknowledging Mr. AJ Bellomo my realtor here in Jax FL (trout river).Im 27 years old and I was moving out for the first time - ever lol. My mother was playing as my active realtor, we spent countless hours on Zillow and on weekends driving around to new construction sites.Buying a townhouse can seem very redundant - everything usually looks the same. By the time we pulled up to the Maronda location after hours of driving around - i was tired, annoyed and just ready to get out of the car.I mean come on - was I really going to buy a house any way?YES - it is as they say - you just know.From the second I walked in model home a little voice on the inside said Mine (yes like Finding Nemo). The design was beautiful - open concept - spacious - and any one living here - probably went all in once they saw the massive ISLAND IN THE KITCHEN!!Maronda homes has done what it takes in a competitive market to make there homes still stand out, and still relatively affordable. The design may have sold me instantly - then I met AJ.Now people Ive worked in the car industry - and everyone buying a home is always thinking to themselves - when is the cat going to jump out the bag - because nothing is this good - right?I went in ready to tussle - I think my first full sentence was Im watching you and I know how realtors lie! - to my surprise- AJ held his hands up and I think maybe said - Dont shoot - it wasnt me!Laughter broke out!He never skipped a beat - he quickly acclimated to my demeanor and somehow deescalated the situation in humor. He knew that at the end of the day - I was young and making the biggest decision in my life to date, and never minimized my feelings - he just constantly proved me wrong - with kindness and facts!But I still watched him closely - as you should when buying a home.What really stood out about AJ as a person is not just how he was with me - but EVERYONE he came in contact with.During our tour my future neighbors waved at him while walking through the neighborhood - people smiled at him - as if they were friends.Ironically - my home had been sitting on the market for a year - and the day I came in was the same day the woman who had recently put a contract on this unit - but was now canceling!The moment the woman walked into the room - I did not hesitate to quickly ask her - WHATS WRONG WITH IT !! She laughed and completely reassured me that she made a personal decision that it wasnt the best time for her - but she loved the unit!Looking back on it all now - I think the place was always mine - it was just waiting on me to find it.Now I would like to say it ended there and we all went on happily!But it didnt -COVID -19 - took a major toll on my process - 3 days after signing my contract - there was a pause on funds for First Time Home Buyers- I was crushed when AJ gave me the news - I just wanted to cry- he assured me he wouldnt sell my particular unit to anyone - no matter how long it took.AJ in that time went above and beyond with & for me!He helped me find a different lender - who approved me and I actually ending up receiving more benefits then what I originally expected.As much as I called and drove him crazy - he remained dependable & once again KIND to me in every situation AJ HAD MY BACK!AJ always says - I started working for Maronda because I wanted to sleep at night. Im able to help people and be honest with them.Mr. Bellomo - that is exactly what you have done for me - I am so grateful to you - and I just may be forever grateful for all you have done to help me achieve this goal.Thank you God, Momma && AJ Bellomo (and Ms. Bellomo too) !Thank you Maronda for my home sweet home!

Great staff and nice homes

The Customer service I found to be lacking. No one answers their phones and our contact with the sales staff have been less then stellar.
