I needed to have my wedding dress steamed and pressed for my wedding and only had one day to get this done. I called and the owner said to bring it in. Ive had a past positive experience with Sand Dollar. But the disaster in service I received this week is crushing. I took a suede jacket, a suede dress, and a sequined top/miniskirt set. Sand Dollar was running a suede cleaning special. My mom picked up for me, so when I got home and took the plastic off I wanted to cry. The collar has been totally ruined. Whatever solution that was used totally bleached the dye, and the beautiful yellow color is faded. You can see where the solution was just poured on the collar and has run down the jacket. I called Mr. Thompson and told him I was upset. He said, Oh nothing could be done the solution reacted with the dye. WHAT? You are supposed to be a professional. HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF SPOT CHECK? This is totally unacceptable. And I tried to continue with the other issues and he just cut me off. He was totally unapologetic. He just kept cutting me off and said bring it back and well see what we can do. FOR WHAT? The damage is done and youve had your chance. I want my $70 back AT LEAST. My dress looks like it was put in a washing machine. The nap of the suede is gone. And its a crumpled mess. Why is it like this? The suede dress they cleaned last year was flat and nicely done(the reason I went back). I cant prove it but the Sequin top/mini set looks as if they didnt even bother to clean, and just put on a hanger from how I dropped it off. The stain, which is on the cotton section, is still there. Sand Dollar totally failed at there motto, Quality you can see. Service you can trust, and value you can depend on. Guaranteed. Its printed on the laundry bag he gifted, which I consider as an admission of guilt and failure. DONT TRUST WITH YOUR SUEDE.

The first time that I went to get a stained removed from my blazer the stained remained on the blazer. I went back to the store and showed it to the owner. The owner of Sand Dollar is amazing to work with, very truthful, and down to earth. My wedding dress came in with spots on it about 6 weeks until my wedding. I took it to him for cleaning and he gave me a quote for the cleaning and offered the best and most humanly advise to me. The small spots were on the inside, he said to wait until after the wedding to clean it, use the money the company will pay after and preserve it. Because anything can go wrong and you might not be able to get it replaced in time. Thank you for being honest others would have gladly taken my money but he was looking out for my best interest and I appreciate that. Nothing better than a honest business man.

Fantastic service! The owner saw me struggling to bring in my dry cleaning and toddler and came outside to help me. He even remembered my name a week later when I came to pick it up! Super friendly - I cant imagine going anywhere else for dry cleaning.

Mr. Steve made a miracle happen for me. My wedding day wouldnt have been perfect without his services. I was having a brides worst nightmare and had a last minute gown change a week before my wedding. To make a long story short, I borrowed a beautiful dress that was 13 yrs old... so it had quite a few stains. I called around and people were telling me it would take 3 - 6 wks to get my dress cleaned and how they had to send it out from their store. Mr. Steve had my dress deep cleaned and steamed to perfection in a week. He made that dress look brand new and I am so grateful that he and his staff were willing to take on the task and they did an awesome job. Thank you.
