I was looking for a place to get my bridesmaids dress altered and after a few “not so great” experiences, I managed to find this place, and am so thankful for it!To compare/for reference- one of the places I had gone to before I made it to Eva’s did not seem very interested or into making the dress how I wanted it, even after the pins were in place I was just not very satisfied with how it looked but was still willing to go with it.. the dealbreaker ended up being the prices.. they were going to charge me $360 to alter a bridesmaids dress!! That was much more than the actual cost of the dress!At Eva’s, the moment I walked in, she was so accommodating and said let’s see what we can do! I tried on the dress and before I even said anything, she knew EXACTLY what needed to be done!! She gave me simple solutions for the alterations I was looking for and made me very comfortable. The alterations on the dress ended up costing me less than half of what it did anywhere else I took it.She absolutely loves what she does and the quality of the alterations shows just that, highly recommend and words can not describe how happy I am with my experience with Eva!For reference, I’m on the left in this photo!

This was my first time getting alterations and she was extremely nice and helpful. I definitely will go back to her again. I am not sure what alterations normally cost but I like the service .

Eva altered me and my wifes wedding dress for our wedding in November 2020. She was very efficient and took the necessary covid precautions to make us feel safe coming in for a fitting. She did an amazing job and we both felt like princesses on our wedding day. Her prices were fair and we would recommend her to anyone.

Eva did a great job making new curtains for a RV front window. I would highly recommend her for any sewing needs. Her fee was very reasonable too!

The owner gave me amazing customer service and she was extremely professional. I knew she was educated on your business they way she handled me as a costumer. I got 4 pairs of pants tapered and they turned out perfect. They only thing I would say is she is a little bit pricey but its worth the service.

Honestly, I visited Eva today for the first time. She took my measurements. I left my wedding dress with her.. she hasn’t even started my dress yet and I already felt compelled to leave a review. A review for her sweet, kind, patient, and smart demeanor. She knew EXACTLY what needed to be done. Customer service on point. Everything was just wonderful, even fast. She’s a true professional with a lovely spirit. Without a doubt I would recommend her to friends and family and will use her myself for the future.

I ordered a custom wedding dress from an Etsy shop and, despite giving my measurements, the dress didn’t exactly fit me perfectly when it arrived. I brought the dress to Eva’s Alterations and it was one of the best decisions I made leading up to my wedding! Eva is such a delight to work with. She is so genuine, warm, and professional. She made my dress fit me like a glove and her prices are very reasonable. She also did the alterations on my mother’s dress for the wedding. I can’t wait to have more clothes that need altering so I can have an excuse to see Eva again!

I am forever grateful that I found Eva. My dream wedding dress was a little too revealing and she literally did the damn near impossible. She asked me to order more lace from the designer, to which I didnt know I could even do. After that, she cut a piece of floral pattern from the lace and sewed it onto my dress by hand. It looked even better than before. She even saved the remaining lace and told me that there was enough for a little dress for my future daughter. *cue tears*

Eva was so incredibly sweet and kind! I needed a professional white coat altered and my school moved the date of the event forward, but Eva was so accommodating and made sure it was done before the sooner-than-expected deadline. Eva did a fantastic job for us! My wife needed some alterations at the last minute and Eva was able to care of it in a matter of hours. Price was very reasonable as well. Eva is friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and an excellent seamstress. We will definitely be using Evas again.

Eva is to sewing like dark is to chocolate, shes the very best! I bought my wedding dress at a second time around store. It fit great around the waist, but was too tight to zip up my back all the way. Together we formulated a plan to take out the top portion of the zipper and replace with a corset style lace up. Eva was very easy to talk to the whole process through, and she made the dress so much prettier than it was to begin with. Because of Evas beautiful heart, brilliant mind and magic hands, I got to be a princess on my wedding day! And my husband couldnt take his eyes off me! Eva took a gown in a size for me on short notice (less than a week) and it was perfection! Affordable but quality work, definitely glad that I tried her out!

Eva did a wonderful job on my dress when other places told me it wouldnt even be possible! She was super sweet and very knowledgeable about her trade. She took a dress I was starting to feel down about and made it wonderful, now I cant wait to wear it for my wedding! And its exactly what I always wanted.

My wife goes to her for everything and she always does great work! For one wedding her cousin and her went and got alterations from Eva while everyone else decided to go somewhere else....those were the ONLY two dresses that didnt break during the wedding! Quality work done here!!

I bought a bridesmaid dress and then lost 21 lbs. The dress hung loose and I looked terrible. Eva had to take the dress in two inches. She was quick and I look wonderful in the dress now.

Didnt actually get my garment altered here she didnt see to interested in doing it. told me to just buy another suit Prices were okay. Told me it would take more than a week! Just not impressed in the overall experience of this little hole in the wall alterations shop. Ended up going to A Tayor shop on Southside blvd. Very professional reasonable and would have it done in a few days.
