My 3 year old son has sensory issues and is afraid of the clipper machine. We have been to cool kid salons and have bribed him. Yesterday, Lika gave my son a fantastic haircut and got him over his fear of the machine! She went above and beyond! I look forward to many more cuts for my family here!

The only issue is that the barbers at supercuts do not know how to start a fade with skin. Every time I ask for skin they leave more than skin at the start of my fade. I believe they do it to get us to return faster, but all they are doing is creating bad reviews for themselves. If I could avoid supercuts I would, I only go there when I have no other options.

I had the worst experience I took my fiance to get her hair dyed they let a young and experienced girl do it and she messed it up I could have done a better job if I dyed it myself which I had horrible experience

I called on 3/18/2021 to make an appointment for a root touch up with partial highlights for the next day and Leila the store manager yelled at me not to call the store, but to book online instead. When the website only gave me the option to walk-in I called back to the store to clarify and she told me to come in first thing the next morning. When I arrived at 9am on 3/19/2021 another artist told me that because she was the only stylist there, she could not perform color services. I called later that day and was able to book my appointment for 9am 3/20/2021, but when I arrived Leila was there alone doing another color on someone. When I told her that I made an appointment she was agitated and said that she couldn’t do my hair until 11 when another stylist got in because she was already doing color. I told her how frustrated I was and after dealing with this salon so far and she made me sit it a chair and cb out my own hair because she doesn’t know how to work on my hair type (3c/4a) in this time, the helped 3 other people before me. I have been here for an hour without any help and yet she and the barber have done at least 4 other people without even looking my way.

I have always had great service at the Supercuts on San Jose Blvd. They are taking precautions sanitizing before/after each client. Dominic did my hair and he was professional and comical. Made the experience more enjoyable. He is very precise with his haircuts so you know he won’t rush it. I recommend coming here! I’ll def be back and will try to come when he’s working! :)

Walked in an hour before closing and was very rudely told by a skinny guy wearing a batman shirt that there was one more haircut ahead of us and he wouldnt have time to cut my 6 year old.

Please if you have not seen the hairdressers work DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO CUT YOUR HAIR. My regular stylist was not in (due to an unforseen emergency) so I went to another stylist. My mistake as I assumed, I only wanted a basic trim up, to look neat for an interview I had the next day. I did not have my glasses and could not see the full end results but figured when I go home and wash my hair all will be good. I realized later how disgustingly uneven my hair was and for the stylist to allow me to walk out of the salon like that was humiliating and furious. Needless to say I went back the following day to my regular stylist who did an amazing job evening my hair, unfortunately I had to go shorter than I intended, but at least I could walk around without a bad hair day hat so take it from me. Make sure to see their work first. My regular stylist would receive an easy 5 star.

Another great haircut.

My mother and I came in for a shampoo and cut this evening, the joint seemed busy when we walked in. We waited about 5 minutes to be checked in, all other clients left but one man while we waited. Then, maybe 15 minutes later, all of the staff started to clock out. We were not spoken to at all and when I went to ask when we would be helped one girl said she needed to take a break and someone else would have to help us, no one even acknowledged her speaking. I was not acknowledged until I said that we would just have to leave. I have NEVER had a worse experience at a Supercuts and if this had been my first time in one I would never come back. Thankfully I have never had issues with the Tinseltown location and will be going to that one exclusively from now on.

My husband & I took our 11 & 13 year olds here for the first time today & we had a wonderful experience. The 2 ladies were very kind & took the time to talk to the children about the haircuts they wanted & then asked us what we thought. The lady who cut our son’s hair (her name is Dawn) advised us that it would be easier for him to style everyday if she thinned out his thick hair on the top, very thorough, no one has ever suggested that before. His hair cut looks amazing plus she was quick & talented. The lady who cut our daughter’s hair (Camisha) was amazing as well. Our daughter’s last hair cut experience before this visit was not the best ( different location).. she was very nervous to say the least. The woman was very sweet, she listened to her, told her what she was going to do before she did it, you could see how relaxed our daughter became so quickly. The hairstylist worked a miracle!! She was able to blend the uneven layers from the previous haircut, took off the exact amount of hair, then explained the best way to keep her hair looking its best. The ladies are very kid friendly at this location, they listen to them & make them feel important. I was highly impressed & I’d recommend this location over any other.

She did a good job. Thats the best you can expect from hair cutters. Hell most of them dont know their butt from a hole in the ground this lady did

I was reluctant to go to Supercuts to have my hair cut. A neighbor has a really cute haircut and I ask her where she gets it done and she said, Supercuts. I thought, well why not try it, since I normally pay from $35.00 to $65.00 for a cut and style and sometimes get a really bad haircut, why not? Madeline took me as a walk-in and cut and styled my hair. Cost $28.00 + tip. All I can say is, WOW! I loved it and so has everybody who has seen me since I had it done. Thanks, Madeline and kudos to Mandarin Supercuts!

My husband needed a haircut ASAP (hes military) so we decided to go to this Supercuts on a Sunday close to closing time. I believe Katie was her name or Caitlin, I wasnt the one being attended to but she cut my husbands hair so good that I was like dang, thats my husband his hair is abit on the weird side and most cut it wrong. She did a terrific job on getting it back to where it should be. We hope to catch her again this past previous time but she may have not been working so my husband got with someone else and the haircut she gave him was weird and he looked like he got out of boot camp instead, little to no hair, it was scary for both of us honestly! Hope she still works there!

Lela has been cutting my hair for 8 years or so. This is a great and reliable location. Plenty of skilled hair dressers and tons of products. I have never had to wait long.

Becky is awesome will always go see her over anyone else. . Everyone there is friendly and ya gotta love that hot towel at the end.

My boyfriend usually gets his hair cut by lela but this time she wasn’t there and he desperately needed one so he got this woman who completely messed up his hair. It’s crooked around his ears and head, it’s way to short, and there were long pieces of hair she just left. It was obvious she didn’t know what she was doing. I don’t know her name but seriously don’t go to any other stylist expect here Lela!

Left my hair soaked. She did not ask if I wanted product, no mirror to check the back, and she didnt comb it at the end. Wouldnt have reviewed because it turned out decent, but when she charged $17 I was blown away l. Not coming back.

I went to get my grandsons haircut & wanted to verify if the lady was able to cut his hair. Instead of reassuring me, she acted indignant. We had a recent experience where a caucasian stylist totally botched my granddaughters hair (afro-american).The cut this stylist did was a cesear. The line on the back was crooked, it wasnt faded in smoothly in the back. Never will go back again.Suggestion: next time, be honest and let a customer know you have little to no experience doing that type of hair. We would appreciate that.
