Over charged. I went in for the hair cut basic 15.00. I was charged 30. My chair was not cleaned up from the previous client. Barber Was on the phone the whole time he cut my hair. Did not cut my hair how i asked it to be cut. I do not recommend this place at all to anyone. You’re better off going to a local barber. You have been warned.

Just moved to 32218. Found place on line I looked online for prices fade was 20.00. I got a skin fade yesterday by a guy name buster. Haircut was good came to pay he charged me 35.00 for a skin fade. Place is a rip off no one in Jacksonville charges 35.00 for a fade cut maybe he thought he did a beard shave or something I have no hair on my face. Are maybe this place charges what they want base on the color of people skin are personality. It’s a shame I will never go back there. Don’t recommend this place at all.

First time customer and new to Jacksonville. This Saturday morning went online to find the business and tried to see if I could reserve an appointment for my 7 yr old son - no luck. When I went in with him later that afternoon, I was greeted, but then sat for at least 45 minutes as I saw barbers walk up to the front and either personally walk or invite at least 3 people that came AFTER ME for their cuts. Meanwhile, my son and I kept waiting with no explanation of the process.When I finally decided to get up and head for the door, that is when one of the barbers came to the front to say that someone would get with me soon - at that point, too late. Was looking for a small business with personality, but unfortunately ended up going to the big-box SuperCuts.

Buster the Barber is incredible! He always does an amazing job on my hair and my 2 boys. He is fantastic with children and makes them feel like they are men at a barber shop too! If i could give more then 5 stars i would!!!!! Can not say enough out G Cutts and Buster

Hands down the best haircut Ive ever received. Buster the Barber was very attentive and a blast to talk to. We had been talking about work towards the end of the haircut and when I saw the final product I told him dang I look like I just got a promotion lol. You can tell Busters got a loyal clientele too because everybody who came in made a point to greet him specifically.

Haircut started off good. Went in without an appointment. Decent haircut, warm towel on face prepping for a shave and then I get cut by the barber twice. He doesnt say sorry or anything really just did his best to stop the blood without telling me how bad i was bleeding. I didnt see how bad it was (barber conveniently didnt show me anything in the mirror) until I got in the car. I paid $60 and got cut pretty good twice on my face...

Place is nice and the staff are nice but, they cant cut hair. Asked for a razor fade and walked out with a defined line on the back of my head. They cant even do a simple fade. Terrible🤦🏽‍♂️

The frohawk I worked super long and super hard for constantly taking care of it etc.. was destroyed by 1 barber in this shop. Im not a person to bash a shop because, its not the shop but the barber. the same day I had to cut my head bald because of how bad he messed it up. I even showed the dude a picture of what I wanted it to look like before he started and he completely ignored it. Never again will I go back.

After my 3rd visit to Gcutts, Ive decided its time to leave a review.Ive seen Buster the Barber every time, and Ive asked him for a different style each time. He knows what hes doing, and he takes his time doing it right. If youre looking to get a clean fade, Buster is your guy. He is very capable, and also cool to talk to. He has definitely earned my continued service from this barber shop. The only thing keeping me from leaving 5 stars, is I dont agree with the price 100%. It is a little high, which keeps me from going every two weeks like I want to. But thats supply and demand, folks. Keep it up, Buster.

She is highly skilled in applying on each individual Lash so good after applying I have used a Lash Comb with absolutely no problems with snagging on the glue or any getting stuck together, I cant even feel her during my Application process I literally have fallen asleep she is so gentle! They look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and although Extension completely NATURAL!! LASHTASTIC!!

Contacted the guy and he was straightforward and consistent and seems to have knowledge about what he does. Got there and he was right on time and got in the chair in a timely manner. Got a cut,beard shape and trim. In the chair for about 20 minutes and was done. My going out total price? Way,way,way too much!!! I wanted to see what my money was going to get me and believe me I was totally disappointed. For what I paid I should have gotten the entire works including hot tea! Experiment done and wasnt swayed at all. Back to my regular barber. By the way I was referred by a co-worker and was generous in my tip. Never again!

Dont go unless you prepared to pay $50 for a messed up haircut. My son went in with a pic of what he wanted. The barber was unable to complete and he just told her to go lower because it did look bad. So sad story short my son walked out there with a horrible shaved down no edge line and Im $50 poorer!!! I have never been so disappointed in a haircut in all my sons 15 years. This was my first and last time going!!

I had such a great time with Buster the barber. I had a beard shape up, shave and high fade fauxHawk. Buster did a fabulous job, he made me feel so welcome and overall went to the next level to make sure I had the best customer experience. My only regret about Gcutts is that theyre located 13 hours from my home, so it looks like I wont be back for another haircut till 2021. I know this will be my new away from home barber shop.

Went to get a clean cut there around 6:00. Took like 5 mins and was professionally done👍 All who wish for a good barber should come here.

I spoke with Buster over the phone, and he simply told me to come in, and hed take care of me. This man did a phenomenal job. He understands people, how to speak with them, as well as how to properly give a high fade with a razor finish. However, $26 is not worth it. I say this because Im accustomed to getting the same hair cut for $8-$10. The only reason I dont zero my whole head every week is because I enjoy a quality haircut. Im just unwilling to pay more than $10 before tipping. Going back to Buster, I think its important to note that he seems honest, and is very peaceable. I enjoyed his company and how detail oriented he is.

I come to Jacksonville Florida every January for work and I always go to G CUTTS to see Buster to get my hair cut. If you have not been here before I highly recommend giving this place a try and make sure you ask for Buster! He is the real deal when it come to your hair style.

I was looking for a barbershop close by and googled it and Gcutts came up. It had good reviews so I figured I would try it. Im so glad I tried it because I got there and the barber buster welcomed me with open arms and not only did he give me a great cut but he also trimmed my moustache and did my face while having great conversation. I can really appreciate the fact that they were open until 9pm on Saturday. I had just arrived into Jacksonville from Atlanta at almost 8pm, and other barber shops were closed at 5pm and 6pm and 7pm. The prices are great and the service is great.

The person cutting my hair was more worried about everything else.Ill be taking my business around the corner to one of the many reasonable chains in the shopping center, atleast Im not left to look like I walked into a paper shredder for a week.With prices this high.. you take away from your workers tips. 30 for a basic fade that is overly subpar... Seriously?

Buster did a great job and has excellent customer service...except, I told him exactly what I wanted and still managed to not get it. I ended up spending $15 more than I wanted to because he gave me a shave I didnt intend on getting. Honestly though, he did an excellent job on the cut and the line-up, but when a customer asks for something specifically, listen to them. I feel like I got conned. Ive been coming to gcuts for going on 6 months now and Ive never been disappointed. In fact the cuts Buster gives me have always exceeded expectations! The customer service reasonable prices and attention to detail buster has is sure to keep even the pickiest of customers coming back for more.

So this was my first visit since moving to the N. Side. My son visits Buster the Barber on a regular, and he always comes home looking sharp. Buster did an awesome job.
