I brought my 7 year old son here for a long overdue haircut and Marcus cut his hair perfectly! The staff is friendly, helpful, and skilled. The shop is also well run and we walked in and didn’t even have to wait. Marcus listened to what I wanted for my son’s haircut, and then he executed it flawlessly. My son was comfortable and loves his haircut! He is now clean cut for school and I couldn’t be happier with the results. So glad to have found this place!

Stop in last week first time here i was a walk-in and immediately greeted by the staff Jen took care of me and did a great job, im very confident i can go to any of the barbers here without any worries as they were all doing phenomenal job.

My Husband went in as a walk-in to get a hair cut. Everyone was friendly and the establishment was clean and smelled amazing. At first glance, his hair looked good. A few minutes later I notice a patchy spot in the back of his head. He was irritated but convinced me to fix it once we got home. Before I had a chance to, he really inspected the haircut (was not offered a mirror to look before he left) and noticed several pieces of uneven patches. He will need to go to another professional to fix it. I’m not speaking for the entire establishment but that particular barber was not on point today. (If I can I’ll attach picture)

The Hospitality was wonderful, shop was Clean, Barbers are very professional. Marcus that cut my hair was Outstanding, he didnt do alot of talking. Which I like in him. he was strictly business, while giving me a Outstanding haircut.

They helped me out in an extreme pinch. My son needed a fix on his haircut last min hours before graduation. Even though they were packed they wouldn’t let us walkout in fear the wait was too long because they couldn’t let him leave with a messed up hair cut and once they found out it was his graduation they got him right in.

Yea, the name says Cut N Up but theyre really a cut above the rest. Now I didnt get a cut for at least 3 months, I looked like wolverine. Looked like I lived in the woods. I went and got my beard trimmed, haircut, and I didnt recognize myself afterwards. Brothers, we under estimate the power that a great barber and barbershop has. They can single handedly make you go from being a lonely single dude to a not so lonely single dude(if you know what I mean) just with a haircut. I just found this place it is clean and professional. Like any barbershop not everyone there is going to give you the perfect cut you just have to find the one that cuts your hair to the standard you want. I went to D his was very good they also have an app where you can set appointments with your barber so you get in and out with the person you want. Not a bad place at all.

Love the professional work that is done. These guys are sharp! Not the normal junk you hear, mannerisms is a must. All the barbers are respectful and courteous. Appointments are recommended.

This was the worst and overall worst quality of a haircut Ive ever had in my life. They operate extremely unprofessionally not telling you or explaining the procedures or the price upfrontly. The barber I had was Wayne. He spent more time making fun and joking with the barber in front of him rather than paying attention to detail to my lineup and facial hair. The final price after I had to ask after the haircut was 20 dollars. All I requested was for him to do my lineup and trim and lineup my beard and he charged me 20 dollars. Way too high of a price and horrible quality. He also scratched me up. It was my first and will be my last time going there.

This has been my barber shop since 2015 when I moved to the area.In fact, I moved away from oakleaf over to Fleming about 5 months ago, and I still make the drive.The atmosphere is amazing and lively.All of the barbers are awesome.Big Mike, the owner, has a zero-tolerance policy on cursing and that makes it a kid friendly place to be.I highly recommend establishing a connection with your barber and making an appointment each time you go. They are nearly always busy, and that is due to the great job they do.Most of the staff have been there over 3 years.They are a gem of a local business and will have my business for the foreseeable future!

Let’s talk about the worst barber experience of my adult life. I’ve seen a barber once every 60 days or so since I was a kid, and nothing compares to my terrible time at Cut N Up Barbershop. At first I thought I was in for a treat – no wait, and friendly staff. First sign something was off was when the barber spent the first 30 minutes giving me a haircut I didn’t ask for. And he did a lot more I didn’t ask for – nor did he ask me if he should. Like shaving my sideburns off and squaring (not rounding) my back line, and shaving the back of my neck. I have never needed a neck shave because I’m a Pacific Islander and don’t have body hair.Of course, I told him to fix it. That took another half hour. He went through all the details again, like shaving off my sideburns, squaring my back line, and shaving the back of my neck as if they had all somehow grown back. It was like he had forgotten what he had already done. Maybe he did forget, because he spent the hour I was there screaming at his fellow barbers about a $2 bet between them. Mind you, he was a foot from my head. So he spent the entire time yelling in my ears.He tried to put product in my hair without asking. And, in the end, the haircut he gave me was terrible. He took 3 times as long as any other barber I’ve had and gave me a haircut one-third as good. Plus the screaming. Best part, after all was said and done, he charged me $25 cash. I had plenty of time sitting in my chair to see other barbers charge cards. Not my barber. Cash. No one told me that beforehand. And there’s “We accept Mastercard/Visa” signs all over the shop. Plus, no barber – not even Master Barbers – has ever charged me $25 for a haircut. They charge $15. Over 30 years of barbers, never has one charged a dollar over $15, except the guy at Cut N Up. This place is a joke. I regret visiting. I hope you don’t visit. I’ll never visit again.

Went in my 1st Time today and was greeted promptly. Signed and and before I sat down I was asked if I was looking for a specific barber, which I was not. So I headed to a open chair, Joe the Barber got me right, shop talk was positive while being entertaining. Whenever I am in town, no need to look elsewhere for me. First time.Took my 2 year old son for a first haircut. The barber did a great job with a fade! I dont remember the exact person that helped us but he was great with kids- patient and friendlySecond time. We got his hair fixed after it was butchered by a barber at the OP mall. Im so glad this place is here! Only good things to say. Our barber was super patient with my toddler and turned a terrible haircut into a decent haircut.

Found this place on Google maps since Im from out of town and was overdue for my regular boring haircut. Ms Jen gave me that haircut but said she could do so much more. I trusted her and left looking sharper than I have in years. Nothing trendy, just fading up towards my temples and fading down into my beard, added some razor sharp lines along my beard and cleaned up my eyebrows. Now Im gonna have to find some place near me in PA that can maintain this look because I like it way more than my regular boring haircut. Thank you Ms Jen

LOVE IT; they are my homies. I will never go to anyone else. They even remembered me after one visit and knew how I wanted my hair. Super cool place and dont worry there is a sign that states no cussing or language. Oh and Joe is an excellent barber he comes with my highest recommendation. Go check em out.

Whenever Im in town, I get my hair cut here. Whenever Im away, I just cut it myself. I dont trust any other shop to get a cut. Ask for Dee. Hes been cutting my hair for 10 years. You can bring your kids here and not worry about the typical barbershop language. Really professional group of brothers. Ive seen more women here with their sons than any other shop. Everybody is comfortable. Everybody is welcome.

I was in there today, and i feel my barber had no experience. I asked for a number 2 fade on the sides with a little off the top. The fade was uneven and you could see the lines in it. I kept having to ask my barber to correct the mistakes. Clearly not experienced whatsoever. This barber shop needs to hire more experienced individuals. This might have been my barbers first days as an employee, im not sure but man did he butcher my hair. Now my hair is super short and not at all what i asked for. Ill go there again but to a different barber next time. Lesson learned.

Everytime I go there I get stuck with the guy who is new or doesnt know how to cut hair. I went today and got some white guy with tattoos on his arm and a pony tail. He cut my hair so bad I was to drive somewhere else to get it fixed. I told him exactly what I wanted and he cut my sides too rough and left scars and left my top too long and it looked like I had a flat top. On top of that he cut a circle part of my hair shorter than the rest of my hair. It was the worse haircut ever. Cory is the only one who I will let cut my hair there If I ever go back.

I have been taking my son here for years and each and every time they take care of him. One thing I was afraid of when I first started taking him to a barbershop was the language and types of conversations, but that has never been an issue. Everyone is always nice and friendly. They make you feel right at home, wouldnt ho anywhere else. We love it here

Fantasic service! Never had to wait. Been seen twice there. Both guys did a flawless job and were friendly and perfect! Place was. Clean smelled good and enjoyed the 2 mounted TVs. Will be returning for my 3rd hair cut there.

Finding a barber that gets it right consistently is difficult, let alone someone who gets it right on the first try.Everyone in the shop is a consummate professional who knows their craft well and provides it in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Will definitely be my barber shop of choice in the future.

My son is not a fan of getting his haircut but he doesn’t get mad when he has to go to this place. We have a tried a few different barbers in the area and they weren’t the best with kids. Here it was senseless and Joe made my son laugh and played with him the whole time. This kept his attentions so it made the whole process better. The haircuts are top notch as well. I would go if I needed haircuts but sadly that time has passed for me. I’ll just live vicariously through my son when I come to this barber shop. Highly recommend! Don’t forget to ask for Joe!

I sent my son in this shop for a haircut and had a very disappointing visit at this shop. The disrespect could have been avoided by agreeing to fix the problem. If you are closing up and dont have the time to do the job that a person is paying you to do, the best thing to do is ask the person to come back on a later date or agree to fix the problem on a later date if you have to leave. Dee was very unprofeasional. I had so much respect for this guy until today. I never raised my voice at him during this altercation, but did express that this was not a way he should handle business on my way out. If he was having a bad day he should handle that without lashing out at me and guilting my son to get a haircut that he did not initially want because he was ready to leave. When I went back into the shop to ask him if he could fix the cut; Dee proceeded to raise his voice at me and disregard my request by walking away to the back of the shop raising his voice. It is sad and disheartening to witness the disregard from someone whom I have supported off and on for many many years. I will never go here again.

Ms Jenn is awesome! Searched for someone for a long time when I moved to Oakleaf. My son recommended her after seeing how well she cut his. I also have a beard and she fades that into my sides well, shapes it well too.The shop is clean and has TV’s up playing sports which is a plus for me if I’ve got to wait.

Asked for one thing, got another. Even after putting aside that I didnt get what I asked for and evaluating the haircut for what it was, it was not a good cut. Too much reliance on hair dye/paint, rather than giving a quality cut. Went home to brush the dye off and all the flaws in the cut were exposed. $25 for what.

Big Mark is the REAL DEAL! I had heard about him by world of mouth around Jax for months but had no idea he was right here in my area. I finally booked for my very picky/judgey teenage son today and he hasnt stopped taking selfies and checking his lines in the mirror. I normally cant get the boy to take a decent picture for me. Today, he has sent me like 20 pictures like this one. Big Mark, keep us penciled in for every 2-3 weeks! Its rare I see this kind of reaction out of my son so GREAT WORK, man!
