I give Garcia and Caleb 5 stars for their excellent customer service and compassion. They are good people to do business with. I like that its gated and climate-controlled. Nice location, clean, and I appreciate the flatbed dollies I can borrow.I give iStorage corporate 2 stars, though. I rent a 5x10 unit (next to smallest they have) and I started out paying in the $50s in Dec. 2018. Its been less than 2 years and theyve increased my rate 3 times. Now Im paying almost $90/mo. I feel ripped off and this third rate increase happened in the middle of a pandemic when Americans like me are hurting financially. I always pay my rent in full and well before the due date. Not a great way to keep loyal, reliable customers, iStorage.

Their online system for payment has been down for 7 months now.

No problems...That says it all.

The guys that work here are so professional and helpful. The whole place is very clean and feels so safe. This is hands down the best storage unit I’ve ever used. I’ve had to go in late at night by myself to drop things off and I feel completely safe. Also the rates can’t be beat.

Rented a 1st floor interior. Did not realize all units are climate controlled. Caleb was great and really knew the facility. Call Caleb for a fast, worry free experience.

Mike & Garcia was very helpful and friendly when I arrived to the location. The great thing is that everything was done online within 15 min!!!!! I walked into the office and Mike said verything is ready, let walk to your unit! Great Customer Service!!!!

I came into Istorage on Monday morning to get a storage unit. The process was very easy. I dealt with Mike at the front desk and he was extremely helpful. The office and units were very clean and well managed! I definitely recommend coming here if you need a storage unit!

Service was good, raised rates and didnt notify customer. That was shocking to me but.... A leak in another unit flooded mine, they assured with clean up but didnt offer to pay for any damages. A little more expensive than others

We own a handyman business and we are in and out of storage units for customers. The manager was very helpful with an issue I was having not related to the unit. The units are clean and secure and evenly cooled. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

My experience with the Mandarin-San Jose location was great. I was there a few weeks ago inquiring about a rental talking with Justin and when I came in to finalize it, he pulled the info up and had it ready to go in no time. He explained the lease thoroughly and advised me to buy a lock and the renters insurance. Afterward we made sure the gate code worked and then showed me the locker. No surprises, very professional. Im glad I visited the other 2 major choices in my area, because I storage has cleaner, newer facilities and better rates and more attentive staff. Justin was very helpful, if you go there, tell him 3035 sent you.

They had the best price for where I needed my storage unit to be. The staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone and in person! The facility was always clean and I felt safe when there. Online payments made it easy too!

They take great pride in their facility and its well deserved. Been storing here in a 5x10 for a great price in climate controlled building but sadly time to go. Always send emails if your payment is close to being late. Great customer care. Best of all after storing here for almost 2 years. My stuff was still in perfect condition. No rodent damage on my items at all. Unlike some other storage facilities. Thank you iStorage

Even with the added insurance, it’s cost-effective.Month-to-month option . . . finally something easy and with the consumer in mind!Customer service . . . excellent! Office manager knew how to prioritize customers to meet everyone’s needs in a timely fashion. He seemed to know other customers on a personal level. Rare to find these days. I was personally walked to my unit and shown all I needed to know about access/move-in. The unit I was given had come off it’s track, and I didn’t have to do anything. The manager jumped at the opportunity to make it right and did so in impressive time.If you’re looking for a place that dots their i’s and crosses their t’s — your search is over. It’s not the cheapest place out there, but it’s also not highway robbery. You get what you pay for and I’ll gladly vote with my pocketbook for this kind of ease, convenience, and customer care.

Great service, good location and friendly site person. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 a little concerned about the climate control. Was only minutely cool where our unit is located. Not exactly what I was hoping for but short for time to consider something else.Service was great though.

We are VERY HAPPY with istorage Self Storage!! The units are impressive!! Very clean with up-to-date security!! Exactly what we wanted. Excellent customer service on the phone and face-to-face.

The new Manager was very nice and helpful. He even cleaned the floor in the unit before we rented it.My only complaint with this place is the temperature control. The temperature is kept close to 80 degrees, which is very hot for Florida weather and humidity. I spoke to an iStorage manager from another location who told me he keeps his temperature controlled buildings at 72 degrees.I have many valuable items in my units that could be destroyed by heat and humidity. This location should be required to lower the internal temperature.

I have used iStorage for a few years and just added another small space. The site is very clean. It has climate control so I dont worry about any damage. I would highly recommend them.

This place is the absolute WORST!!!! That nice gate you see in their photo, it hasnt worked in 6 months. The lights, and I mean all but 3 individual 4 ft tubes, have been out in my hallway for a month and a half. I asked them fix the lights three different times. Finally I got angry and wanted to know when they would be replaced and they told me I didnt rent the hallway. I repeat, this place is the ABSOLUTE WORST!

Helpful to get contract signed and ready for move-in. I had to return in evening and storage was well-lit and although extremely quite i felt safe in the environment. As you walk through areas, lights come on before you .

I hope the owner appreciates Garcia. Every interaction with him has been a pleasure. He explains everything very well. He always waves hello when he sees me on the property. Hes always very kind when we speak. I hope hes there for a long time. He definitely deserves a raise and recognition for being a great employee.July 2020 - a new update: I switched to a bigger unit. Garcia helped me and made the transition into the new unit very easy. He found one in the same building, which made the move simple.As before, Garcia was very helpful and professional. Hes such a kind and pleasant person to do business with. Hes definitely a gem, and very good at his job. I hope iStorage is able to keep him as an employee throughout the time I have a storage space at this location.October 2020: Switched back to a smaller unit. Didnt need all the space of the larger unit anymore. Garcia helped me again. As usual, he was very professional and helpful. He took time to answer all of my questions, and made sure I understood his answers. He found a smaller size unit right down the hall from the larger unit so I wont have to move my stuff too far. Garcia is so thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. I sure hope iStorage realizes what a great employee they have with Garcia. He deserves a raise and recognition for his professionalism!
