My son was in an accident and after the cops said his car wouldn’t be towed it caught fire so they had it towed anyway. Once my son called to give me permission to retrieve his belongings they refused and said they own everything in the car unless we paid for the towing and storage. They can have the car but they should allow me to get my son’s personal effects since he’s hospitalized and isn’t able to.

Professional, reliable and best pricing Ive found in Jacksonville so far. We have a fleet of vehicles and unfortunately have to utilize towing/wrecker service more than wed, but Jimmies Wrecker Service is the best Ive worked with to date.

Found myself and my family contacting Jimmies Wrecker Service after a car accident that left us all pretty shaken. I cant say enough about how the staff at Jimmies - particularly Michael - went above and beyond to help us out during what was a really uncertain and unpleasant period. We received high quality, timely, and professional care and even in the midst of everything that was going on, I was thankful to have had the opportunity to work with everyone at Jimmies. Truly excellent.

Unethical business! I sold a vehicle to someone that used the vehicle to commit a crime and never registered it in their name. The vehicle was towed by jimmies. They sent me a letter that they had my vehicle. I explained to them that the vehicle was sold and I had a bill of sale. They then sold the vehicle at auction and put a lien on my property for the charges. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general for unethical business practices. At this point I have no choice but to take time off work and pay the lien in person as they are requiring.

Im gonna tell you right now that this company has a group of stand up guys.They were dispatched to provide a tow through my roadside assistance company. Agero, the service company hired by Progressive to manage roadside assistance dispatched them but did not provide payment. This company waited on standby at my location, most certainly declining other calls, for several hours while waiting for Agero to get their act together. Ive never had roadside assistance from a tow company who arrived so promptly, nor demonstrated such care, compassion and patience.Their equipment was incredibly clean and well maintained and the driver was a complete gentleman.I highly recommend them for your towing needs, and if the way they treated me is any indication, I would not hesitate to return to them for towing and whatever other service they offer. Check out my other reviews, as I dont hand out 5 star reviews to everyone!

To be honest i called 12 tow truck companys first and i knew about jimmies everyone 2 expensive. Most rude over the phone. One company was 4 times as expensive as jimmies... There is no need to call anyone else for your towing needs.. From now on its jimmies or nothing for me.. Out of all my reviews I stand by jimmies to the end .

My company had to call out a wrecker to jump off my truck.The batteries had died after sitting for almost a week.Dispatch told me it would take about 45 mins or so...they showed up in less than 15 mins.I dealt with Steve. He was friendly and knowledgeable.His truck was set up that made jumping off vehicles easy and simple.He had me up and running in just a few minutes.Even though Im a trucker, I live here in Jacksonville.At least now I know who to call in the future if I ever have a problem.

This towing company do not acknowledge wrong doing and fail to compensate me for their errors. On 3rd September 2019 Jimmies Towing came into my subdivision to pick up my neighbors truck. In the process, the driver drove across my lawn creating large tire tracks and left without notifying me about the damage. I called the company in an attempt to resolve the issue but the person on the phone was rude and disrespectful. They told me I have to resolve the matter with my neighbor, even though he was not driving the tow truck. I urge you not to have nothing to do with this company because they will destroy your property and will show now remorse.

Was coming through Jacksonville from Savannah GA towing a 19ft boat and trailer. Studs sheared off the trailer tire and could not be repaired. Kyle made it out in record time and loaded the boat on his trailer and told me of a good hotel to stay and took it to their yard for the night. Jimmy himself unloaded the boat at the repair shop with a fork lift and closed out my bill and made sure I was taken care of by the repair shop. Fantastic crew and outstanding customer service. Would definitely recommend them for any of your needs. Truly 5 star service and no price gouging at all.

Waited for over an hour for my car to be towed to a shop from their yard. The distance between the two locations was 9 minutes/ 9 miles. I try to give companies the benefit of the doubt but the service was just slow.

Steve at Jimmies, knew with our tow, to set us up with Julius, who by the way, really knows this business. The 2013 Camaros right front wheel was attached by only the strut (control arms, CV shaft all snapped) while on a paver-driveway. The weight of the tow truck would have cracked pavers, but Julius saved the day by providing the skills and advice required, to avoid any additional damage. He got the front end on a dolly, lifted the rear of the vehicle and away he went. I would highly recommend Jimmies towing & in particular employees like Julius to take care of your vehicle. Im storing their number in my phone for future reference! You should too. Ya never know....

The price was double what the other service charged.I called Jimmies because my truck and loaded utility trailer were stuck. The guy on the phone told me it would be $200 minimum for an easy pull-out and would be more if it needed 2 lines or if he had to do any extra work.So, my family and I worked for about an hour and got the truck out. My son called back and asked about how much it would be to just wench the 6x9 trailer out, and he was told, Yeah. I already talked to them and told them it starts at $200 and goes up.I called another service and it was $100.I dont know if there was some extra charge for it being on the weekend or for me being a woman, but I certainly wont call them again.
