I would definitely recommend this place! I had both catalytic converters replaced in May. The price was better than any other place in Jacksonville that I could find. Although, I know you usually get what you pay for, the lower price here still resulted in great work and service.Im very happy with my experience.

Matt great guy been going there for a decade countless cars done there and no complaints to be had about the work.

So when we went we did not know what to expect. However the staff were extremely friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and pulled up our car almost as soon as we came in. So we found out once the staff pointed out our vehicle that the catalytic converter was stolen from us. Of course this was a huge shock to us but the staff were able to get a replacement converter within an hour and explained that the thieves only wanted the original converter due to the precious metals inside of it and that the aftermarket converter should be safe. The guy who took care of us was incredibly upbeat and also told us to reach out if we needed anything else. Would highly recommend.

No one was in the office and I had to hunt someone down. When I tried to tell him I wanted a Flow Master Cat Back system, he interrupted me and said he just did a 4Runner like mine. He then told me how difficult it was to do dual exhaust, and that I should remove my spare tire and get a rear swinging spare mount. After all that, I told him I didnt want dual exhaust. The system I wanted is made for 4Runners, but even though he said he was a Flow Master dealer, he had no idea what I was talking about. When I tried to give up and leave, he showed me his Diploma from Michigan State (taped on the window) and said he had been in the Muffler business for 20 years. I have doubts about both. Avoid this place if you want professional, quality service.

Brought my 18 mustang in for custom h pipe/ resonator delete. They got on the job promptly and courteously. The job came out way better then any clamp on pipe with the great mig welding they did. This is the fifth car I have brought here over the years and never had any issues. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants exhaust done right.

They do not try to nickel and dime you. Matt is honest and upfront with you from the second you arrive. I had my vehicle at another shop for about a week and they couldnt figure out what was wrong. I mentioned that i think it was the catalytic converters and they told me no they didnt think that was the problem. Took it to Matt and explained to him what was going on. I didnt mention what I thought was the problem because wanted to see what he said. After explaining to him and looking over my car he said I think its your catalytic converters.. and I agreed that is what I thought also. I came and got True dual exhaust done on my 2019 ram 1500 5.7 2.5” pipe cat back to 6” tips on the 20th of March 2021 they have welders there that don’t know what they are doing at all the position of the tips are perfect but the quality is not there in necessary bends in pipe already took the truck to the Cassat ave location to be looked at. The truck has a muffle flutter sound at low idle and is not right at all..... I have seen multiple video and not to mention my buddy has a 2018 5.7 ram same exhaust and everything and his does not sound like this. I have reached out to the owners in regards of getting it redone and I’m getting ran around a tree so I decided to order my own tips and get it redone at the Cassat ave location..... DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP IF YOUR LOOKING FOR QUALITY WELDS AND WORK smh

I cannot express the gratitude I feel towards Rainbow. I was referred via my dealership d/t the extensive repairs needed within a short time-frame. Upon inspection, Matthew (@Rainbow) saw this was damage caused in a previous accident and had not been repaired while @another well-established local auto body shop for 2months & preferred thru my ins co, Geico.He suggested I call Geico to report and inquire about scheding to have a claims adj look into. This all took place on Wed, the adjustor came Friday morning and I was picking my car up on Sunday evening and in perfect condition. I recently had some exhaust work done and I was very pleased with the Quality. Matthew was very polite and showed Great customer service skills.He was answering questions to multiple customers helping with projects and answering the phone at the same time. Matthew could own his own Business just like the one hes carrying now.

Matt was awesome! Very cool guy! He explained everything in detail. Very knowledgeable They cut my mufflers and added pipes and tips. There was a very, very minor flaw that I noticed a few days later. He brought me right in with no questions asked and fixed it immediately. Highly recommended! Kudos to Matt and his team. Unit was in there for almost a month since the diagnostic a bad Catalytic converter and turbo, got it out, a few days later had to take it back becouse the problem wasnt fixed (replaced the wrong turbo) another month and same all back and forward with excuses and poor service it seems like they drink on the job, empty beer bottles on their work areas. Right now the unit its@ Ford because after 2 months and $6000 later the problem persist. Ends up that an engine will need to be replaced

I came to their shop after leaving the Dodge dealership, having been told I needed new cats at more than $1000. The folks at Rainbow got me back on the road for less than $100....thank you guys.Stopped by their shop three times over the past week, including first thing this morning. Matt had one of his mechanics, Santos, do a good bit of work on my C4 Corvette last summer. Long story short, Santos messed up EVERY job he did on my Vette. With less than 3000 miles logged since completion of the work, the exhaust has been getting louder and louder. There is no component of my exhaust system that Rainbow Muffler has not replaced. My beef this time is that two of the header bolts have vibrated out, with the balance loose and ready to drop. No bolt locks, no LockTite, no nothing. Matthew will not back up his poor mechanical work. Santos replaced shocks, did not replaced the provided polyurethane bushings. Santos replaced the entire ignition system. I laid for a new distributor, but did not get one. The list goes onAnd on. I cannot bring Myself to ever go back, as I have nothing good to say about my experience with MatthewHe is an excellent welder, and salesman. He is not a mechanic. He is not an ASE mechanic.

Went in for a simple exhaust and provided my own muffler. They were very helpful and we talked about what I wanted and about 30 minutes later it was done. The price was a little high at $135 but you pay for good work and I am very happy with the results

I just want to share how awesome my experience was with Rainbow Muffler on Phillips hwy. When it comes to cars I am completely clueless. The moment I walked into this shop, I felt welcome right away. A guy named Joe greeted me immediately and helped me diagnose the problem with my vehicle. He was so nice and professional, and I knew right away I came to the right place. Then I met the manager, Matt. He was just as great as Joe and helped me on the spot. They found the problem with my engine and explained it thoroughly, to the point I feel like I know how car engines work now (that is slightly true). Haha. If your looking for a place where you bring your car in with one problem and come out with at least a dozen then this is the place. I came in with a header installation and now have two spots on my inner fender that have paint missing, a large hole now in brand new header, broken hold downs, missing hardware, throttle cable that is bent and welded in three different places, leaking intake & header, gaskets misaligned, broken carburetor, paint missing from new header, wrong hardware for parts, welds where welds don’t go. If that’s not enough Matthew will stand completely behind this work and will call you all kinds of names if you disagree with him.

Stopped in for some price quotesand was met with positivity vibes and excellent customer service! Noticed several very clean and organized service areas. The quotes I received were far lower than anywhere else in town. I refuse to bring my vehicles anywhere but here! :)

Matthew did a hell of a job on improving my exhaust. I wasn’t enjoying my straight pipe anymore and he put together an awesome setup for me and even went the extra mile to fix a few leaks here and there. Great place at a great price.

Came in for a new dual exhaust flow master on our truck and Jojo has been amazing making sure we get what we wanted. Great customer service and on the ball with getting it done right.

I guess you get what you pay for. Had them do some work to replace a gasket and a few minor things and same day we had the check engine light come on. My husband checked it and for starters the lug nuts were not tight and there are missing bolts and other bolts that are not tight or are missing that were there before we took it in. Tried to call and speak with someone and they hung up.
