Ricky and his crew offered me an affordable option for replacing my F150 motor a few months back. Every time I spoke to him or his team they were always respectful, professional, and helpful. The engine replacement was done quite quickly and they maintained communication with me very well throughout the process. If youve got a mechanical issue, give Ricky a call, hes helpful and wont try to gouge you. Great customer service!

Service was fantastic!! I was quoted $1000+ to replace my ac condenser. Came here since it’s not even a mile down the road and they got me in and quoted me 800$, I left it and came back to ice cold ac. Super friendly staff and took good care of me!

Good fast work done at a fair price. I’m from out of town windshield wipers wouldn’t work on my truck called Ricky’s auto repair he put me in there found the problem got me fixed and back on my way. I highly recommended this shop!!

These guys at Rickys are truly awesome! They Installed a new transmission and reprogrammed it. My vehicle has never ran so good! My truck is getting excellent gas mileage, especially during this time with gas prices rising..

They got my clutch replaced and did a great job. Feels like a brand new car when Im driving it now. Theyre more expensive than what Im used to but still okay rates. I hit a deer with my truck and trashed the front end and set off the airbags. Rickys Automotive worked with me to get the truck fixed and did outstanding work for me.I have been using them for years and highly recommend them for any repair needs you may have. They also offer towing so if you smack your vehicle to the point it is no longer driveable they are able to come get you as well.Always very friendly, do fast work, and they do NOT try to rob you like the place down the road will. I had a job the other place SS Auto quoted me almost 600 dollars to do, RIckys got it done in around 300 dollars.

Rickys crew does a great job on repairs. The only issue I had was the extra $56.60 I HAD to pay just for using my credit card, over 3.5 percent of a $1600.00 bill. Ricky just put a engine in my truck back in October 2019 and did not charge me for using my card. With this huge bill, it would have been nice if they could absorb this credit card fee or at least tell me in advance of this new charge so I could have brought cash with me.

Rickys Automotive has worked on numerous vehicles of mine everything from a 2000 Dodge Durango to a 2000 V10 pickup truck to a Chevy 2500 HD to an Oldsmobile 97 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera s everything you can think of that needed to be done to any of these cars Ricky has been there and done all the work very reasonable prices very competitive but I dont think youll find any better people that will make you feel like youre at home while theyre working on your vehicle they are phenomenal people there to the point theyre excellent all I can say is the excellent people Ive never had anything go wrong that they have fixed on all my vehicles.

This is the most honest, friendly mechanic shop around! Ricky is very knowledgeable he dont mind walking you around your car explaining everything that needs to be done..His prices are very reasonable. Took car there for repair after breakdown. Couldnt find out what was wrong with it, but added gas and it ran. Broke down again after a week. Took it too a better mechanic for repairs. Wouldnt recommend

Over priced, not honest

I love Rickys Automotive! I dont understand why people would even say that about Rickys. Ricky can always find out whats wrong with your vehicles. I had my vehicle at several different mechanic shops and noone could fix it but I found Rickys Automotive and took my car to him and GUESS WHAT HE FOUND THE PROBLEM,THAT THE OTHER 3 PLACES COULDNT FIND AND HE SAVED ME ALOT OF MONEY! Very polite & friendly staff! GREAT SERVICE! Affordable & makes sure the jobs done right! My truck hub was bad so they came & towed my truck to the shop for me! The tow truck driver was very kind & friendly! Down to earth people & I will continue to use this shop! I highly recommend them!

Excellent repair shop. They have been working on my Hondas for years and I have always been treated fairly. Rickys is the type of shop that wont force you into repairing something just to make money. They are not the cheapest, but the quality of work they do is unmatched in the Jacksonville area. They are like family to my family.

Unhappy with the price estimated for alternator and battery replacement. Told me the battery damaged the regulator in the alternator. Which is backwards. My Dad did teach me basic s of mechanicals on vehicles, but since Im disabled I cant do it myself. Went to a different mechanic. Did the work for half the price and battery was still good, so it didnt need to be replaced. I went to them because a friend said he thought they were good.

Ricky’s is by far the best shop in Jacksonville Florida very honest and has always kept there word!!! I recommend Ricky’s to anyone who needs work done on there Vehicles!!!!! 5 stars!!!!!

Honest yea sure he is. Charged $150 for a balance and 3,000 mile oil change. The balance was terrible. Worse than with no weights at all.Arrogant and ignorant is a bad combination for a mechanic.If you value your vehicle don’t bring it here.

Scam artists! I wouldn’t recommend doing any dealings with this company, very sneaky and greedy people, they will hide issues that they caused to benefit themselves.
