I do not recommend this company to anyone. They told me a lie about my transmission. Told me i needed a new one for $4200.00. I fixed myself for $200.00. They are crooks, they tried to make me believe I needed a brand new transmission and there was no other option. Maybe because Im a 62 year old man they thought they could take advantage of my situation.

I paid them over 7,500 for repairs and my car still wasn’t working when I got it from them I took my Lexus to get inspected and the mechanic let me look under my car. My rack and pinion was not replaced as it says on the paper but yet I paid for it as well as a steering gear and my front sub frame was not replaced but I paid for it. I need a refund and I will gladly send you the pictures as proof. And after calling them everyday for two months to check on my cars repairs after I had given them more than enough money to start and now i find out they didn’t even do it. What did I waste all that time, 7 months of making payments and paying people to take me to work when my car could have been fixed!

Been coming to this location for years. Great service. Competitive prices. Always fixed what ever I needed. They dont upsell me. They dont suggest other stuff to get fixed when I didnt ask. They havent pulled any of the sleazy and scam tactics on me that some other shops did. Theyve worked on my oil changes, my transmission twice, my clutch, my electric windows, and battery/electrical issues as well. And I plan to have them work on my AC unit sometime in the future. Theyve already done a diagnostics for it, but I didnt have the cash for it at the time.

They did a beautiful job on my car, I was really having issues! They got my car back to me in a timely manner, it was my only transportation. They explained everything to me on the phone and I was so tired that I forgot and they explained it again when I picked up my car and they wasn’t rude or upset because I forgot, I left my wallet in my car and all my money was there when I picked up my car talk about trustworthy! I really needed that money and thought I lost the wallet! Thanks guys!

Courteous and responsive. Initial quote was well less than actual repair price but it is always that way regardless of the business and services. Got the van back and it seemed noisy in Park but I gave it a chance. Next day, the transmission groaned loudly in reverse and jumped rather than backing smoothly. Called AAMCO and service writer Anthony said to bring it back that day. Cant complain about the customer service at AAMCO. As far as the possible part failure, it happens and the warranty will cover all the costs. Satisfied

I’ll be very detailed and candid. I trusted these people to do right by me after working on my wife’s car, but with my Equinox, they did not communicate my repairs to me (I kept having to call them as they never called me) and then on Monday they increased my final amount by $260 because they claimed they did a diagnostic on my fuel system without getting authorization from me. Had I not put my foot down they would’ve tried to charge me for something I didn’t authorize and didn’t have a updated estimate for. It really felt like I was being taken advantage of and I can’t see myself bringing my vehicle back to them.

1.Needed oil leaks on engine oil pan & rocker cover fixed.2. Needed engine dash light resolved.3. Needed seat belt indicator resolved.4. Needed transmission leaks fixed.5. Thought this place would be my last stop but Im in search of a mechanic still. The prices are outrageous for minor work. My advice people is too buy the part yourself and replace the part yourself because thats the only person you can trust that wont screw you over.

Anthony is friendly, accommodating and professional. He came through on getting the air conditioner on my wifes car repaired the same day. Plus the repair has a one year warranty so I have confidence its done right. I recommend contacting this AAMCO for any car repair or maintenance needs.

Was given a 3500$ estimate for a new transmission. There scan report had zero codes and they didnt even check the fluid. They gave me zero reason to believe them. Dropped my car off Monday and got it back 48 hours later, just to do a scan that I dont even know they actually did. Charged me for the FREE scan because they apparently tightened 2 spark plugs. Zero communication and never once called back when they said they would. Even if the repairs are accurate they definitely wont be doing it.

Entered the shop after the inner workings of my transmission blew up or at least that was how it felt while driving. Anthony meet me when I came in and was nothing short of super kind and accommodating. The work was done to schedule even with some extra work that I had requested after the initial inspection. This is not the closest place to my home but it is the place I will be bringing my vehicle from now on. The customer service and hospitality of the crew here is amazing.

My experience was a bad one. They had my SUV for 2 days before they fixed it and Im not sure they did any real work on my vehicle. I paid a lot of money but months later I was having the same problem and when I took my vehicle back I got a quote with over $3000. worth of work that your sign doesnt say. I feel that I was overcharge. So I got a second opinion for the work so GUESS what I got a reasonable price. I felt that my pervious visit was a nightmare and I only took my vehicle back because of warranty. I will never refer anyone to this place ever. I have been burn by your company THREE times no more. From now on I will go to the completition. I thought your company was a good one. NO WAY.

If you need repairs and you want someone whos going to be professional, on time with good pricing and treat you with respect. I highly recommend AAMCO on 103rd st Jacksonville, Fl. Let me tell you why, after spending over $1,000 at three other locations giving me the wrong diagnosis and the car still not running properly. Someone recommended I go to AAMCO and it was my last resort, as I was running out of funds. Imagine spending over $1,000 and the car still ran the exact same way as when you started looking for help, how you would feel. But my friend highly recommended them and I said well I need my car let me give it one last try. I called them, they said if I bought it in they would look at it and tell me exactly what was wrong. They gave me an answer that I couldnt believe especially after the Dodge dealership on Blanding told me they wanted almost $4,000 to repair my transmission, that they just put in 2 years ago. They told me a plug was loose here at Aamco they plugged in the car runs fine come pick it up. I was in tears I couldnt believe three other places told me things that were wrong with the car and charged me for these things and it still wasnt fixed and yet I come here to AAMCO and Ive got my car back and running properly in a short. Of time.They didnt try to rip me off and they fixed my problem. If you want an honest repair shop whos really looking to help the American people and not cheat, you should come here it would be the best decision you ever made.

Terrific experience! I was driving up the interstate when my check engine light went on. I found this shop on Google Maps. Despite being quite busy, Anthony and his guys fit me in, did the diagnosis, corrected the problem, and changed the oil. WAY cheaper than the dealer. And lickety-split. I contacted multiple transmission repair shops in Jacksonville to get a rough estimate on what it would cost to repair my Ford Escape. I decided on AAMCO due to the many positive reviews on Anthony and his crew. They did not disappoint. From pick up and towing of my vehicle to the repair and subsequent 2 wk follow-up, everything went as smooth as flowing water. Service was quick and each tech I talked to was knowledgeable. I will say that the completed bill was a bit higher than a quote I received from another reputable shop but Im still happy with the work and would recommend. No issues so far 1 month later.

He was extremely polite and friendly, and helped me through the whole process of getting my brakes replaced, really above and beyond is how I would describe the service there. They have multiple financing options available if you are like me and cant pay up front when the unexpected happens. I took my car to the Toyota dealership here and they said I had major damage to my transmission and needed another one and quoted me over $2,000 for a used one!! I took my car to Aamco and from the moment I walked in Anthony was attentive, helpful and wanted to give me a thorough second opinion.The owner Jason even PERSONALLY looked at my car and they concluded that my transmission was NOT damaged and I just needed an oil change! Thank GOD for good honest people who dont take advantage of their customers for financial gain. They have made a customer for LIFE! Jason said I would love to sell you a transmission but not enough to sell you something you dont need. He earned my respect and loyal patronage.

Ive been going to this AAMCO only since 2011. Anthony, Jason, and Joe are awesome. Theyve never tried to sale me stuff I dont need, and they give clear responses as to what the issue maybe. Their honest, which is hard to find in automotive shops nowadays. As a veteran I truly appreciate their honesty.

Ive been here some time back. But didnt want to not list my experience. Im not saying that they do bad work, but you should form your own opinion. They offered to fix my battery problem for very closed to $300. Im not a mechanic, but I was very easily able to change my battery in 10 mins and bought a battery for around $180. I saved a lot of money doing it myself. I also had another repair done that costed over $1,000 and I thought that was a bid much, but I cannot recall the nature of the repair. That probably was another 6 months back. I will not be going back to this location.To be fair to AAMCO, the $300 charge included a new battery, labor, and cleaning(whats to clean?).

I am really pleases with the service AAMCO.I had to take my expedition there to get it fixed and they did everything possible to get me the cheapest rates. Unfortunately the cost was too much for me to fix it so I had to get another car. They let me keep my car there for a week without paying any storage fee and even tried to help in getting me into another car. Oh did I mention that they did not charge me for the evaluation on my car. So they did all this for me and didnt charge me a thing. I will definitely be taking my car to them because they seem very trust worthy and customer service seems to be their number one goal.

My friends and I were traveling from Chicago IL to Okeechobee FL for a music festival in and had to arrive on March 1st by noon.Unfortunately a pesky oil pressure sensor decided to go out about 4 hours into a 21 hour drive. Not wanting to get to far off schedule we drove for nearly 17 hours may have been more but I lost my mind from the nonstop, never ending, mentally crushing dinging that at times overpowered our music that was on full blast for those 17 hours.Arriving in Jacksonville Florida with the dinging and ringing, our sanity nearly lost, and our hearing damaged I found Anthonys shop. Walking right in right at 8 AM we explained with Anthony our situation, and the pain we have endured and he so graciously gave us a very informative response and solution to our problem, as well as told us he would get us in and out ASAP. We got a great price, that was WAY better than the Chevy dealer in Jacksonville that had told us an outrageous price to fix our little dinging issue. Anthony was upfront about everything that he was going to do, gave us an honest timeline, and more importantly FIXED THE DAMN DINGING!! On top of that he got us out in the perfect amount of time to make it to our music festival at a great time.So if you are a Jacksonville local or an out of towner that is on the verge of loosing your mind due to dinging, I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Anthony and his team!We were treated honestly and respectively the whole time we were there.Thank you again!! I have been coming here for over eight years and have had nothing but exceptional service and professionalism. They have replaced two transmissions for me and both work great. The staff is very friendly and are quick to find the problem and getting you fixed right up, They will also inform you of things that may be taken care of soon. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing a real professional environment or just great service over all.

They are amazing!!! A few weeks ago my husband took his Monte Carlo in for some repairs and they didnt waste time in getting it fixed. After that I started having trouble with my car so I brought it in thinking it was a sensor that was bad. They found the problem very quickly and the very next day my car was ready to go. Its a place that you DONT have to call for updates,they will call,text and email you with updates throughout the day. They also email you the paperwork so your not blindsided with the cost when you pick up your car. They are very friendly with great customer service and would highly recommend them!!

Amazing service! Took my car in for an evaluation after an accident. I was pleasantly surprised at the thoroughness of the evaluation. Safety is obviously paramount to the people here! They went far beyond what most others would have. To top it off, they helped me with financing as well. Courteousness was stellar! Then they added icing to the cake...they gave me a free oil change!!!

These guys are amazing! My car started locking up this morning and eventually wouldnt drive forward, only in reverse. I took it to an auto shop and they brushed it off as a transmission issue that would having me spending a ton of money to repair, sending me off to go somewhere else. Well i ended up going to AAMCO Transmission on 103rd and Anthony helped me out so much. He was honest and informed me that the problem was only a missing bolt in the brake caliper! He saved me a ton of money and didnt use this opportunity to charge a ridiculous amount. I recommend this place to all of my friends and to everyone!

If I could give them 0 stars I would . This place is a complete scam and I caught them in a lie trying to charge a ridiculous amount of money. Then they would not release my car. They said the tow company never came when they did come. Then when I told them they came they said the tow company came before I ever called them to pay my fee which was a lie . I never even called the tow company until after I notified them that I needed to pay and would have someone else come to pick up my car. The part for my car is only $291 with a markup even the dealership only charges $400 yet they were trying to charge me $910. When I confonted them Anthony lied. After he realized I caught him he tried to give me a different cost of the part. Not to mention they charged me $217 just to look at the car. The price they quoted to resolve the issue literally doubled the cost from the hyundai dealership. Again after I caught them in a lie saying the tow never came, they switched to it came before you contacted us he then hung up the phone on me. I called back and he says the phone disconnected when I know it was an intentional hang up. I dont t This has been a horrific experience and I will be contacting the better business bureau and writing letters because they need to be shut down immediately
