Hammond is the only people I will ever call. (The 1st place I called told me the ac was a total loss and needed an $11,000 replacement. I told them to get off my property.) I then called Hammond. Fantastic services. Our thermostat was going blank and cutting on/off every couple hours. The technician Brian was able to diagnose the issue almost immediately. There was a backup in the drain line that was causing water backup in the system triggering the system to shut off intermittently. Brian cleared the drain line and the system is now working properly. Total time to diagnose and repair was 15 minutes. Thank you Brian

Brian, with Hammond Air, was very helpful today with our AC repair at one of our rental properties. He sent images of the unit and the repairs needed, and then followed up with phone calls to explain the repairs being done. Called this company last Tuesday as my compressor stopped working. Very polite lady answered the phone and advised I would like to set an appointment for Thursday. Technician came Thursday and told me that there was no Freon in my unit and that’s why it wasn’t working, I told him that I knew of a leak and my system was around 12 years old. He stated that he would fill the Freon back up and add “leak seal” and would need to be back in a week to identify the leaks. As I know nothing about air conditioners I said ok, and paid the over $700 for this to be done. Less than 48 hours later my system went down again, I called back to Hammond and takes to the operator, she advised she would have someone give me a call. I received call from the same technician that did the service he said, “ if I come back over, it will be another service call”. I was like, no I really can’t afford another 100 on top of the over 700 I just paid and you told me someone was coming back anyway. So, I waited. On Tuesday, a different technician arrived and looked at the unit and and advised that I should have it replaced due to its age and he explained where the leak is it and that with the age of my system, it’s best not have spent as much money as I have so far. He gave me a quote and he did offer to attempt to help recover some of the 700 that was already spent for the “repair” to replace it. I feel as though, I should have been advised earlier about replacing instead of paying 700 for nothing. I am now getting unit replaced by another company.

I have worked with HVAC companies for several different properties over the years. I am always pleased and impressed from the person who picks up the phone to the technician that comes out. Our technician today, Jeff, got things diagnosed and fixed quickly. (Air coming out was not cold, it was the capacitor that broke in a way that the fan was still working but the compressor was not working.) He also was teaching us ways to maintain the system. Highly recommend.

Hammond air went above and beyond what my husband and I could of expected. We bought our house over a year and half ago with an original ac unit. The warranty purchased at time of sale was enough to get by. Of course warranty expires and we are left at the mercy of an ac unit flooding our garage. Jacob came to our home to fix our A.C. which was leaking. He identified the problem right away and did a temporary fix then came back to fully repair the issue. He did an awesome job and was very kind the entire time. He didn’t seem to mind our 3 year old watching him work and happily answered all of his questions. He was quick and efficient. He also took his shoes off at our door ! Would definitely use them again again for repairs in the future.

Outstanding service. After telling me what had to be repaired, they were promptly here 1st thing in the morning to start. It was a 3 to 4 hour job and they finished in 3. They were checking their work and still noticed leaking in the system. They found the problem, changed the part, and ensured everything was working. The great thing is they stayed with the original estimate and I was never charged for the extra parts or labor. (could have been expensive) Thank you to Kerry and Jonathon who were courteous and professional. I will definitely will use Hammond for all my air conditioning needs and will recommend them highly.

Hammond Heating & AC answered when we called at 9pm at night! We called Waychoffs but no one answered!! Hammond said they could make it out to repair our AC, they called the next morning at 8 to confirm, then Jacob showed up even about 30 minutes early. Jacob was super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and spent 2 hours handling everything even with our house filled with neighborhood kids and dogs. Did a great job, would totally recommend Hammond and ask for Jacob.

Tried to change a thermostat myself, had issues. Called Hammond air Sunday morning after a night without AC. Jeff was here shortly after. Professional, knowledgeable, nice and fast. He knew exactly my issue and set us up in no time.

Clayton was the sales person I dealt with and he provided a very informative estimate detailing all work that would be accomplished to replace our entire HVAC system including removing and replacing all ductwork as well as installing the new efficient unit. The installation team, Kevin and David, were polite, professional, and worked diligently throughout the project. At the end of each day they thoroughly cleaned the work areas and removed all debris. When installation was complete they reviewed each item on their Customer Installation Completion Check List to be certain I understood the new system. AC broke over a holiday weekend, called several companies and Hammond was the only company that could come same day. Charlie was at our house within a few hours and the AC was fixed within the hour.

The past 2 times I had an amazing experience with these guys. Today unfortunately was not the case. The ladies answering the phones were very professional and kind. Charlie made our experience with this company the last. First he was late and told us we werent home and we were home all day..then his excuse was he was busy. He spent the whole time trying to sell us everything he could. When we constantly refused to buy his add ons he then assumed we had no money and offered payment plans. I really loved this company but I will be finding another one. He just made it terrible for us considering all we wanted was a cleaning.

Kevin and David came out to replace our worn out A/C unit. They were very polite and well mannered. Once I showed them the unit to be replaced and the electric panel, they took it from there.
