Had my system install 2 years ago, from day 1 there has been issues with them leaking and continuously putting bandaids on the system, i have had my walls repaired once already and now the leaking units are destroying them again with all the water damage, for the past months i have been contacting the company to come repair the system, a few weeks ago they put a bandaid on it that made it worse, now i have been trying to get someone out here again to fix the units and my appointment keeps getting pushed because the techs are busy and now i am still waiting for a response. It is only a matter of time before there will be mold damage in my walls from the units leaking. How does a company treat consumers like this who spend $16000 dollars on a system and get promised all these warrantys but they cannot even return a phone call. I highly recommend florida home re-evaluate how they do business.
Our technician Kasey was polite, professional, and knowledgeable when he came for a routine checkup of our AC today. He wore boot covers inside, which he was sure to remove when walking outside and replaced them upon reentering. He remained masked the whole time which we appreciated. He even worked quietly to avoid waking the kids during our morning appointment. Quality work by Kasey.
The absolute worst company I have used as a homeowner. I would never recommend this company. I cannot wait until Home Depot drops them as their carrier because they do not live up to the Homer way. The did a complete install and glued the filter shut. They do not return your calls and they schedule a service and then never show up. 2 days in a row now. Do not get me started on the GM Brandon who is completely incompetent. Run, run, run away from this company.
I had my upstairs HVAC unit working just fine. I got a call from Florida Home Air Conditioning as my last checkup was a over a year ago, and now they have a special running for $19 maintenance checkup for my unit. This was on Friday, and they did show up right on time Monday morning. Technician did its walkaround and my unit was cooling fine (not efficiently but still cooling), till when by night my drip pan was filled up halfway with condense water. Apparently during maintenance they made sure that my old unit must have some problem so they can get to sell an overpriced unit for me. I called another company and they diagnosed the system and I was told it was out or refrigerant. Called FHAC and complained about the service and I suggested them to come back and fix my unit to the condition as it was cooling before. The dispatcher was nice and setup a free of recharge service for the same day. When the tech came out, I was told the same story, my system is old and they refuse to work on it or fix it. They wont even be willing to fill any refrigerant to this system as they dont want to get buy into this old unit. I was also told that this is a big corporate business and I can do whatever I want, but they wont do anything to get my system back into the same working condition as it was before the maintenance checkup. Afterwards, he tried to sell me a new overpriced system. So this is my first move and we will see how far we need to go to make sure the world hears about scam artists whos only attention is to rip off customers who they think are unknowledgeable about HVAC systems. Well, I have three engineering degrees, know enough about HVAC systems (not licensed nor equipped), but I did my research and used other contractors to verify the con work this company was willing to go to. Im already working with another HVAC company and Im disappointed with the work I received from this one. I would NOT recommend this company to any body, they are overpriced & only trying to sell you new units, and based on previous reviews they cant do an installation either, lastly, they refuse to work on old units. My question is, if they refuse to work on old units then why are they doing maintenance checkup? Just to sell a new one?

We had an appointment scheduled between 8AM-12PM with FL home AC and Ive been waiting for them to show up all day. I called at noon and they said they couldnt find my apmt in their system. Said they would have a dispatcher call me and that theyd still be able to come today. Here we are, 5PM. No call, no show. Ridiculous. Ill never call them again.
Andy was very professional and informative. Since unit was installed in April I didn’t think the drain line could get clogged this soon. Now I know and will maintain it monthly.

Horrible service! My elderly parents AC went out on them over 2 weeks ago and Florida Home has done nothing but give them the run around. I have called several times on my parents behalf to escalate the issue and repeatedly have been told that a service manager would call me back but no one ever does. My dad purchased this particular unit from Florida Home in 2016 and has been a loyal customer for well over a decade and the way they are treating my elderly parents is disgraceful!Jessica I have tried to call you 3 Xs on the number listed on the response and the phone just rings.
So I used this company to install a new ac unit at my OLD home a few years ago, which I have not lived in for over 6 months now (which will be the reason that caused this review to be left and we will go over later). First lets go over this, I had to make numerous calls for them to do follow ups during the time I lived at the home within the first year of the unit being installed. Numerous times the unit would stop working or did not work properly and tech after tech would come to fix and say everything is fine, which it never was. I missed time at work for them to continue to come to my home and tell me that it was a simple fix. NOW, back to the first point made. I moved out of this house over 6 months ago. Since April 9th, 2021 I have received 15 phone calls from this company asking me about my AC unit. I have the phone records if youre wondering how i know. I have asked, begged and now have to demand to be removed from their calling list but yet here we are again, today 5/6/2021 getting another call. Customer service being rude to me about their mistake for not removing me. Why would you want to trust someone who cant get a simple request taken care of with a product that costs hundreds and even thousands of dollars for your home. I would advise to go elsewhere.
First red flag they had a same day appointment available between 10-2, when 6 other companies did not have any availability until the next day. My AC was blowing hot air and I have children and pets at home at 86 degrees in the house. I called and spoke with Emanuel and scheduled the appointment. Asked for my phone number first before my name. Did not mention a service until I asked and was told I would not have to pay up front unless I continued with the service. Gave the impression that it would go towards the total cost. Wrong! Marc was assigned to my service call and spent 5 minutes to diagnose that I needed a capacitor ($30 at Home Depot). Had to go to the warehouse to grab one. Came back showed me how the cost was cheaper at $208 then $320 because my unit was still under 5 yr warranty. Proceeds to tell me the $208 was for shipping the part he removed back to the company and his labor cost. This was a $50 job at most and charged me $307. Over priced robbers. Marc kept stating they don’t charge for the capacitor and their part has a 5 yr warranty but if it broke within 2 years I would be charged the same price I paid today because the labor is only a 1 yr warranty. Steer clear of this company. If I’m ever in this situation again at least I watched everything he did so it will only cost me $30!
Paid $100 for assessment. I was told they would order the part and fix the issue right away. then the guy went on two week vacation, never ordered the part and then when I did get through they said they couldn’t do the work & never ordered the part at all. I have 6 children and they knew we had no other source to cool the home. Do not recommend.& heads up “jessica” reaching out never actually answered the phone so even the follow up to improve the rating given here on reviews is garbage.

I am quite frustrated with Florida Home’s service. I had an ac unit installed in May - went fine, took way long than it should have to install, but works ok.My issues is I have been calling since August 3rd trying to get a copy of the PAID invoice showing the model numbers of the units and a copy of the AHRI certificate for the models.Every time I call I get a customer service rep that says they will send an email to the invoice team and I will get a call back within 24-48 hours. I have called 4 times over the last 23 days and NEVER received a follow up call or email.Customer service has no one they can reach out to directly, or escalate my requests too which makes it even more frustrating. All they seem to be able to do is send an email over to the invoice team. There is no one they can offer as a secondary step to help resolve my issue.23 days and multiple follow up calls for a couple of documents is ludicrous!!!
I called these people with a life threatening emergency as I am a senior citizen and this heat is fantastic inside the house. I have never been spoken to like I was today and I will most assuredly spread this experience as far as I can, as you simply don’t treT senior citizens with a nasty attitude! I have never seen any complaint act this way!
My experience was terrible. This was supposed to be a new unit. However, l received this unit in April, 2021 and had problems the same week and still having problems. They have been out more than 5 times to try to fix the problem. This is a very noisy unit. Jessica was supposedly helping with a resolution, but as of yet no help, I am being ignored.Jessicas phone just ring and you cannot leave a message.
I have had nothing but great and wonderful service. Our AC Stopped working out of the blue and a tech was there within hours and walked us through everything and had an appointment setup for a free estimate on a new unit the next day. They were here the next day and Rick Novak was our guy for the free estimate. He was very friendly and informative. Helped us get exactly what we needed and had it setup for the next morning install. Everyone has been awesome and pleasant to work with on this whole thing.
I recently installed a new ac unit and had duct work done. I found this company via Home Depot. I paid the balance in full and now after three months and leaking problems occurring it is nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone to come back to the house to take a look and repair the work that was paid for. I have called several times and been told that someone would follow up and not been given any actual follow up. My unit is still leaking and has issues but I cannot get a mechanic to come over and repair the work they did less than three months ago. I do not recommend, once they are paid they avoid you and you are stuck with the problem. It is too soon for a brand new unit to be causing problems. I would not recommend this company to anyone - customer service is terrible and I would be wary of a unit that has issues after only a few months of use!I want to add that I have had follow up calls and visits with several managers and the Quality Assurance Manager and the issue has not been resolved. I have wasted so much time following up to be told were sorry, someone will come and fix it and we will call you back only to have appointments set and not honored. I feel like I should be compensated with the amount of time I have wasted following up for a job not done correct. If you want to waste your time calling people to come back, and never seeing them again move forward with this company.I highly highly highly advise you look for another company. This one does not do the work correctly, and does not value customers time.

This company was at my local Home Depot offer system inspections. We scheduled a appointment for Thursday June 18th from 10am to 2pm. After 2pm and no call or contact we called them to find out what was going on. They told us they were busy and running behind schedule and should be there within 30 minutes. After another hour and no call and no show we called to tell them to just cancel since they had already wasted most of our day. The person on the phone told us we would have to call another number to cancel. I told them to call it and cancel it since they already wasted my day. I ended up hanging up on them since they wanted to argue with me about how I needed to cancel the appointment that they didnt make it to. I will be contacting Home Depot to inform them that they have partnered with a business that has a 2.3 rating with the BBB, and should find companies with better ratings to partner with.

There were several issues that delayed the rep getting to me but the lady in accounting was amazing and once the technician got to my home they were very efficient and I don’t want a low score survey to count against them.

Nick stopped by for semi-annual maintenance on two systems. The upstairs was working fine but he adjusted the thermostat to better meet our needs. The main system wasn’t operating at peak efficiency. It needed a new part which he had on his truck. He installed it, cleaned some minor mold off the inside of the cover and replaced the uv light. He also flushed the condensation line. Very thorough and explained what he was doing and why. Very pleased.
Tried to get a second opinion from them and it was basically double the other company. Now, theyve been billing me monthly for some sort of service plan that I never signed paperwork for. Ive been calling a leaving messages for the accounting department for months now and they wont return my calls or refund me. Horrible company.

This is the company that installed my AC 6 years ago...My fan recently failed in the on position. I called them. The guy that came out told me $99 for the visit and a new fan motor was $830.00. I found out through a second AC company that my parts were 100% covered. I called Florida Home back and they actually had the nerve to tell me that was just the standard charge to come out and install new motor. Crooks of the highest order. They just answered my review by offering a phone number to Jessica (Quality assurance manager) to further discuss. Called it twice, it rings until it disconnects. What, no Jessica?

My moms a/c wasnt kicking like it should, called them this morning along with AirMcCall. I was on hold for McCall for 20+min waiting and they told me a tech would call me. I then called Florida Home AC, they answered within 2 mins, they told me a tech would come today between 12+pm. They then called me to follow up the tech would be coming to make sure I was available. Sure enough at 12pm he showed up, he was courteous and very knowledgeable. Identified the problem and fixed it quickly. I was super thankful that they were able to come over the same day and got my ac running perfectly again. He even showed me the broken part and told me on the sopt how much it would be. Amazing work, keep it up!
Service guy said my air conditioner repair would cost over $2,000 and recommended it replaced. They sent a sales guy to my home to give me a quote. He started at over $11,000! Then said through home Depot I could get a discount of over 1,000, so the price would be approximately $9, 900. I told him that was crazy. He almost immediately came down to $6,000. When I told him I was going to get other estimates he said that this was a one-time deal and if I wanted to go through home Depot financing I had to take it or leave it now. When I told him to hit the door he changed his tune and said he would call his boss and we would tell him we had dinner plans so we could reschedule but I was not to tell his boss that he had given me any numbers. The next morning I had a different AC company come out. They looked at my furnace and was able to repair it for $75! They also said that even though my unit was old it did not need replaced at this time. However, if I did choose to replace it they could replace it with the same furnace that was quoted to me from Florida home air conditioning for $4,500. These people use high pressure tactics to try to sell you a furnace at an exorbitant price. I would stay away if I was you.
I want to thank Bryan, Scott and Chuck for a great experience buying a new Carrier Unit.I had multiple companies come and give estimates and even made a deal with one company prior calling Bryan. I had a bad experience with a competitor who subbed out the install to a company that couldn’t prove they had insurance.I had done business with Florida AC in the past and trusted their management and their longevity in the community.We were happy with their overall price and value with their warranty and service guarantees.
The install didnt go well, they were very sloppy and wouldnt explain anything about the system (didnt show where the filter was located, how to work the nest, etc.). The cost was triple the cost you see in other companies advertisements but we figured they all are misleading. A few months later when I called to inquire about changing the filter & some other issues, they sent a technician out the next day & he was very professional and thorough correcting issues and showing us how to maintain the system. That 2nd call made up for the other bad things we experienced.
Chad performed the diagnosis on the unit and Luis took care of the replacement of the parts after they were received by them. Both the diagnosis and parts change out were quick and courteous. The time between the diagnosis and install took some time, but luckily the weather was cooler and let’s face it, COVID has slowed everything down including parts availability.
Andy was my technician and did an excellent job coordinating and communicating while ordering parts and making the trip to install.
Jared was very informative and showed me everything that was going on with my ac unit, and was able to provide a timely solution.
I have rather in new system and I was very happy to hear that it is in good shape despite my lack of taking care of it my filter was filthyAnd he was explaining how important that was to keep on top of it and that with the small amount of mold that was growing it would be a good idea to put in a UV light that gets installed or a scrubber with a UV light and Ozan that would help kill bacteria in the entire house and remove smells and prolong the life of my unit since I had no air conditioning for seven years seven years I want to really take care of the system we were very fortunate that my husband got an inheritance so that we could even purchase this System I have texted the gentleman a couple of times today to see that he would be able to return this evening to install the filter and the scrubber before we move everything back in our garage I am still waiting to hear back from him but I think it won’t be until this evening I’m sure his day is booked
I’m giving a 2 star not on the service but because it took them 3 times to show up. It took me to talk with the manager to get someone out to do maintenance on my AC. I had 2 appointments and the first two no one showed up or called that they can’t make it. I had to call the following day to find out what happened and then they scheduled me a second time and no one showed up and finally after talking with a manger someone showed up the third time. When someone did show up the guy did great.
First the representative stated we needed a new AC unit and a AC return installed so that the air in our home would circulate better! The AC crew was great and friendly and went above and beyond....however I have tried contacting about the AC return NOT being installed and to get a credit back on our loan since this was NOT done! I have called numerous of times and all the representatives say is “someone” from management for installation will call us back! I haven’t heard from anyone and it’s been more than three months! This is not how you do business! Phone number ends in 3365! I’m sure you can look us up!
Jared was very thorough as it was more than one issue. A shorted wire and a blown fuse and all my questions answered. He was wearing a mask and shoe covers and he cleaned up the area after he finished the job.
7 months into new unit I regret using this company. Buyer be ware. People are nice and professional but here I am 7 months after install still dealing with installation issues. Found out after 6 months when I went to use the ac for the first time, we went to bed and the unit just ran constantly all night and never cooled that it wasnt plugged in. Now this is either from install or the month after when we called on a concern but that guy never touched the unit so I doubt it was from him. So we ran our heat on emergency heat all winter and never knew it. Now I will give them credit they did offer a adjust based on my electric bills or a service plan for my issue.But now Im dealing with a failed inspection from the city bc theres no ceiling above my air handler. Im annoyed bc the voicemail I got was very condescending when im frustrated already when Im told I failed the inspection. Now someone has to come out see exactly what needs to be done, if he cant do it that day he said he needs to come a different day and then a third day bc the inspector has to come back out again. Missed work, sitting around the house waitin for 3 possibly 4 days when this issue and all issues should never have happened and been completed upon installation. Seriously thinking about taking advantage of the 1 year money back guarantee and finding a new company to install 🥵. Its 70 degrees outside and Im sweating in my own house bc its 81 inside and for what ever reason the thermostat is set to 78 but hasnt kicked on and I really dont want to go up stairs to find out why. I also HATE that nest system they force on you2 months after first inspection and this review, no one from Florida home has reached out to me about getting a new inspection that is required not have the reached out to apologize or fix the issues.
I got in touch with Florida home through HomeAdvisor as I was looking to get estimates for an AC unit in ahouse I am under contract to purchase. Anyone who has bought an investment property ( or any AS IS house for that matter) knows that you have a certain amount of time to do your due diligence before the closing, So that you have time to back out should the repairs be too expensive etc. when Florida home called me we set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon. They called me the day before and said they NEEDED both me AND my wife to be there to discuss the AC options. I told him my wife would not be available as she had to take my kids to gymnastics practice during the timeframe they were going to be there. I explained to him that this was an investment property and I just needed a unit that functioned and is reliable and my wife agreed. I told him the property was vacant but I do have a key from the owner if they need to get inside. It seems like the minute he found out it was an investment property and my wife couldn’t come ( was very insistent about that part for some reason) his tone changed, as he probably figured I didn’t want some big fancy expensive unit… At least that was the impression me and my wife got. The call ended with “we SHOULD be able to see you tomorrow”. I didn’t think about it until after I hung up but I thought that was really odd he said that. Later that evening around 7 PM he called back and said that because I did not own the property yet, they could not even give me an estimate . I explained to him that it was already under contract, I have permission from the owner, and that I needed to get estimates BEFORE I bought the property.I have spoken with several other companies for electrical, plumbing, etc. and nobody has given me this excuse or had a problem with giving me an estimate before I bought a property, that’s ridiculous . The only reason I am giving them two stars is because at least they did call me instead of just not showing up the next day and wasting my time. Just for the record I think that is a ridiculous policy and I would’ve happily used the service had they just given me a quote!! I Needed someone for my own property as well but I figured I would try out companies on the investment property first… Looks like I will be going with someone else. Really unfortunate but I guess they have enough business that that don’t need mine.
Our experience was OUTSTANDING from start to finish. Rick came by and offered us several options to choose from. He did a fantastic job explaining the differences to us. We never felt pressured. The team that came out to install the system was on time and professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Our air conditioner went out due to power surge and Florida Home AC sent Steve out immediately. Steve has quickly and professionally installed the new motor we needed and a surge protector so our problem will not occur again. My husband and I are so thankful (in this heat especially) that we now have cool air again and this whole process has been made so much easier by Steve. Steve is very friendly and personable as well as professional, which also made all this a much better experience!
They do not stand behind their work. The came twice to fix an issue they created when they cleaned electrical connections. When I called the third time to fix the same issue they said I would have to pay a trip charge even though the on-hold message says they stand behind their work...That is an outright lie....UPDATE. I tried to call Jessica. Went to voicemail for a person named Mark. You have my number if you want to call me to resolve.

We lost AC in the evening and I called Florida Home AC to see if somebody could come by the same night. Kasey arrived within an hour, wore a mask and shoe coverings, and was able to quickly troubleshoot our unit. He was very polite, professional, meticulous in his work and got us back up and running in no time. We would be very happy to have him come for the maintenance and repairs of our unit in the future.
They did a poor job of installing my unit. After they installed it, my unit did not work. For three years I had problems with the unit not cooling or heating my home. I paid to much for these problem. and the 100% guarantee thats not true. After three years its still not right.
We signed the paperwork at 10 p.m. the next day we had a brand new carrier 3.5 ton system cooling our house and it has been running like a champ. And with the added Nest Pro thermostat its just set it and forget it.
Very professional and honest. I called to use a coupon I received and noticed it had expired a day earlier. When I asked about it they cheerfully allowed me to use it anyway. I love companies that appreciate their customers ❤
I had a new complete AC unit installed June 29th 2020. 1st of all they are way overpriced, but I had to go through Home Depot to use my credit card.The guy that installed was nice. But, at the end the filter wouldnt fit nor would the closet door close because he didnt measure the piping correctly. It stuck out way to far leaving no room to get a filter in. He said they would be back to put a wall vent with filter in and fix the closet door tracking. Never heard from them again. I called so many times and got the same answer No one is answering at the general office, well email a message and they will call you. After 6 calls, I took my paper work to Home Depot and their employee called. She got a district manager. I was sitting right next to her (Sue with HD) and he told her he would call me. He never called. He could have spoke to me right then. I called 2 more times and got the same run around. No one is answering well send a message. Be looking out for the call back. Never a call back. I had someone look at it on July 7th and was told all the installer had to do was correct his pipe and cut it some.They left my house on June 29th with no filter at all in the $5750 unit I had just purchased. The door also open up against the pipe. Had I not continued to call, this issue would not have been fixed. It still isnt fixed. I spoke to Jessica July 7th only because I called again. They finally got her on the phone. She has set up for them to come July 13th between 8 and 11. (2 weeks no filter now) Well see if that happens. This company is terrible and Home Depot needs to drop them as their AC contractor. I will also contact HD corporate office. I believe this has been a bait and switch deal. Promises of guarantees and that dont happen because you can get no one on the phone. Never again. Nor will I recommend.
The previous two visits from Florida Home AC was terrible. It was a $20.00 Tune up, referral from Home Depot, however my scheduled 4 Hour window appointment was tremendous, My Technician Ozzie called me prior to his arrival, was very informative and was professional unlike the previous two technicians which I should name! I may just use Florida Home AC in the future, if they send professionals in the future.
Heating system tune up: But no tune up was performed, just a visual inspection. Whst about the tightening, adjusting, lubricating and calibrating components as necessary?
I was told by one of their technicians that there were things wrong with my AC unit and it would be better if I purchased a new unit which will cost me over $10,000. I got a second opinion and was told what the real issues was with my AC unit and the repairs (part & labor) would only cost $220.00. Its been 2 days since the repairs and my AC unit is working great.
They charged me $7800 for replacing my old unit and the salesman talked me out of buying the extended warranty and as soon as the factory one year warranty ran out we started to have problems. First thing that went wrong was the learning thermostat. They had to replace it twice at $99.00 a service call. Then the water level switch was not installed improperly. That was $149.00 for them to fix their mistake. One other time the unit just shut off and would not come back on. Called tbem again and their tech could not find a problem. Another $99.00 service call. They still havent finished wrapping the air duct where they installed the new unit. Every tech that looked at it said it wasnt done right, but no one has returned to finish it. All together they have been out to look or fix something on this $7800.00 unit 6 times in a year and a half. The money I was saving on the electric bill I am giving to them for service calls.
My folks bought a unit less than 4 yrs ago. Fan motor went out. Part still under warranty yet they wanted over $700 just to replace the part. Called several times to get an explanation for the excessive price. Each time I was assured I would receive call from someone that day or by the next. Tried several times and eventually had to call corporate office. Come to find out Florida Home AC charges a set price per job and not by the hour.I called Snyder and by the next morning our unit was repaired for a fraction of the cost. Definitely do not recommend these folks.

We had a leak at the condenser. Near the filter entering the house. I contacted home depot who connected me with Florida Home. The people on the phone were very nice. We set an appointment for 6/19/20. When they arrived they were very timely, neatly dressed and very nice preparing me for the FISCAL SCREWING i was about to be handed. My unit is 2 years old., maintained ind in excellent condition. We located the leak at the filter outside on the line where it enter the home. Great we know where it is. I have paid for similar repairs at other properties I have owned and I know the price for the job. However What I was quoted was way out of line. When HE TOLD ME IT WAS 1300-1900 TO REPAIR. I laughed out loud and said you got to be kidding/. he wasnt and informed me I guess you get what you pay for, my unit was discounted to 2700 i could not see putting 1900 dollars into a brand freaking new unit. I might as well purchase another Brand new unit. Well lets just say I called someone else did the repair and total cost was ********580.00******* yes 580 a reasonable price. Yes i got what I paid for a working unit and money in my bank. 😆 update to your ridiculous response to my written review. 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂
We had previous problems with our ductwork. We had a contractor do a very shoddy job of a makeshift repair that wasn’t cheap. It lasted less than a year ! I was approached at Home Depot by Florida Home AC. I was offered a tuneup and I asked about ductwork, which they said they could take care of. They sent a technician to our house that was absolutely amazing ! Nick went above and beyond to clean our unit, repair repair the ductwork and he also installed an air scrubber. We had no idea what an air scrubber even was. He educated us while doing a very professional job. Nick kept us well informed every step of the way. I am proud to say that we now have a new HVAC contractor. They earned our business. I have only spoken to the dispatcher and our technician Nick but from my experience I would highly recommend this company !! Very professional ! If possible I would give 10 stars 🌟🌟

Nick came to my home to do a maintenance check on my air conditioner. He arrived in the expected time span. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and knew what things needed to to be looked at and checked
My AC was not working properly Sunday night, so I called this company as I had prior service before with no problems.I had a technician come to my house this past Monday. He told me I had a leak in my inside unit of my AC unit. To fix it, I would have been charged $3,600.00 for that, that alone. On top of that, I was charged $355.00 for only 2 lbs of freon and a service call. When I questioned the fee because I was on a service plan, I was told no such plan existed for me. As I had no paperwork to prove otherwise, I signed up for that plan - $199.00.Luckily for me, I didnt agree to go with the $3,600 fee/service. So my AC broke down again last night. To say the least, it was hell. I had another company come to my house today. I had explained all that happened with this company, and the owner nearly fell backwards. The leak ended up being in the outside unit, not inside.Had the other technician from this company done the job properly, he would have noticed the issue and solved my problem. While I cant recover the $355.00, I am fighting to get my $199.00 back.I learned way more than I expected, but I became educated in the process.Lesson learned - always seek a 2nd opinion.#NeverAgain
The absolute WORST customer experiences I have ever had. I cannot even find the words to describe just how terrible of a company they are. They don’t even deserve the one star! I had to call on a daily basis to get updates and was told multiple times that someone would call me back but they never did. When you comment publicly, they will say to reach out to Jessica in quality assurance but I assure you there is no quality and Jessica will not be available if you do call.It has now been 3 WEEKS and still not fixed! I had an appointment scheduled for them to come fix yesterday which they confirmed, but then never showed. When I called to follow up, they said to be patient....they never showed!Then I call today and they told me that they cannot get the piece needed to fix the unit, so there is nothing they can do, despite my warranty. How were they going to come fix i it yesterday if they didn’t have the piece?? All that company does is lie and avoid customers . 3 weeks for them to find out they can’t get the piece. I then asked if I was able to locate the part, would they install and they said they will not install any parts they did not provide. This is the definition of an absolute scam!Do not fall for their warranty because all that means is they will do nothing to address the issue in a timely manner! Twice since we got this unit, we have had issues and both times, the customer service was an absolute nightmare.If you’re considering using this company, run the other way! You truly could not find a worse company to do business with!

Tech came out & took care of the problem in about 5 minutes, changed my filter for me & put the date on it so I know when to change it again. He was knowledgeable & courteous. Was at my house about 3 hours after I called. Very good experience.

It was a service call for a semi-yearly tune up. Jared was very professional. He did the work and thoroughly explained everything he did and made recommendations to extend the life of the unit.Would recommend them.

I contacted Florida home for a duct issue. Tech advise that he would not go under the house to check the duct and the proceed to to offer me a new AC unit. This is not what I ask for total waste of my time. I will not use their service again.
I am only sharing this with you because you asked...I had just moved into the place and called for service because the unit would cool at night but couldnt keep it cool during the heat of the day. I figured it was either 2 small a unit or too low on freon. Your tech said it was low on freon by 3lbs or maybe 2 and said it was 130 a lb + 100 service call. It was too much so he offered a disc twice and got to 100 a lb and it was still too much. I called another company and when they came out I told them what I knew and they laughed at me and said this unit only holds 3 lbs of freon
Technician was the best ...ordered filters ..and corrected issues with nest thermostat that wasnt noticed previously ..he was very professional and most knowledgeable about the system ...i appreciate his attention to detail..

We bought our A/C in May. The technician wired it up wrong, didnt come fix until December 28. Now the unit doesnt work at all. Made an appointment for December 30th. Someone was supposed to come out. At 5:55, was told we are next. Its now 8:36 and we are trying to get someone to come out and are getting the run around. Dont know how this company is still in business. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Thinking about going with another company that appreciates their customers.
I have become very dissatisfied with Florida Home A/C. On 03/24/20 a technician from FL Home A/C came to my house for a tune-up. He asked me if I knew that my air conditioner was installed incorrectly. I responded with, “It was installed in August and no, I would have no way of knowing that it was installed incorrectly. What should I do?”. He asked who installed it in which I replied Florida Home A/C (his company) installed it. He said, let me handle this with the home office and I’ll get back with you. No response from Florida Home A/C. So, I called on 03/30/20 and explained the situation. I was told that a technician could come out to check but there would be a charge. WHAT???? Their technician told me it was installed incorrectly and they’re going to charge me??? I asked to speak to a manager. The rep told me she couldn’t transfer and the manager would call me back. I never received a call. I called back on 03/31/20 and was told someone would call me. No callback. It’s now 04/01/20 and I called again this morning. I was told someone would call back in 24 hours. I dont expect that Ill be hearing from them today either. Be careful if you’re looking to have a new A/C installed. This looks like a bait and switch scam to me.

Rick came on Sunday afternoon. I wanted a 3 ton 16 Seer 2 stage unit and I wanted a new box for the air handler because original was rusting in several places. He said I could have it all by Monday before the sun set. It all came true. I am very happy with my new improved air conditioner. Thank you Rick, Zack and crew for making this happen.
