Amazing company with amazing staffWe use this company in Florida over 20 years, now we are in a different State and continue using them. Very happy and satisfied with them.Great attitude and amazing service!Extremely recommended!Just loved and love the technician!
Mr. Gary was five stars from start to finish. He explained everything from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable and very neat. A and E is a company I will do business with for years to come.
The technician initially came and diagnosed the issue with my dryer, but didnt have the part. With the first visit, I had plenty of notifications about when he would arrive. With the second visit to install the part and complete the repair, I was made aware that the part was shipped to me and when he would arrive and had no other notification until about 10 minutes before he arrived. This was not what I had expected after the initial service call. Luckily I had just arrived at the house. The service itself was performed successfully and the technician cleaned up when he completed the job. I think Sears Appliance Repair can do a better job of letting people know when they will arrive.
Very happy with the results. Came out and diagnosed problem with my fridge in a timely manner. Part came in fast, however it took about 10 days from day part arrived to getting out to fix. Trip charge/diagnosis charge is also a little steep at $99. However my fridge is now working as it should so I am happy.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!This is the worst service I have ever received from a company. I was told on July 15th when the service tech came out and diagnosed my refrigerator issue that my parts would be here in less than two weeks. It has now been 2 MONTHS! I have a wife and two small children and have been living out of a cooler for the 2 months. I have called and waited on hold with your company numerous hours and sent numerous emails back and forth with no avail. I just keep getting the run around. I wrote the technician a check for $350 and was told even if it’s canceled I still have to pay 150!!!! I could have bought a little fridge for $350 and problem fixed but instead I trusted this company and decided to wait it out. I was also just informed that they canceled my order without my authorization! This company is pathetic!
Although I am not wild about having to clear your whole day to receive service, I work from home and the text notices are amazing so that I can still have normal work day. The technician was kind and personable as he had remembered passed repair experiences in our home. He diagnosed the problem with our freezer promptly, had the part on his truck and had us up and running that day.
No appliance repairman until Wednesday of next week.
We have limited choices in this area. I always tell folks there are advantages to getting large companies on certain things.
Knowledgeable repairman. Was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Washer working fine now
Xavier was the best technician!!! Thanks again for all your tips!
The store location was permanently closed and the person over the phone to help me order a part had a really strong overseas accent that I couldnt really understand the English she was speaking so I took business elsewhere
Technician performed preventive maintenance on our dishwasher, range, refrigerator, and front loader washer and dryer. Both the Sears automated system and the technician kept us up to date as to arrival time for service. Technician took steps to keep working area clean. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
Very courteous help. Showed me the problem step by step and showed exactly what was being worked on to fix the problem. Also gave tips about improving the usage of the machine and ways to help warranty on other appliances in my home.
The service I received from the minute I called about my dryer until it was fixed was professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The technician even looked at my washer while he was here because it had started leaking and even though he couldnt find what the issue was he went ahead and ordered parts for the washer that needed changing out after 5 years of wear and tear. I purchased the warranty when we bought our washer and dryer and when that one expired, I purchased another one because it has more than paid for itself when it comes to the service we receive from Sears and the comfort in knowing our repairs will be covered if our appliances have any issues. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service that Sears provided.
Everything is still workings far. This job appears to be a 5 ++++, as long as it continues. Check with me a week or two from now to see if everything continues in working mode.Thank you for your prompt and efficient service, provided!Bessie McKinney
Absolutely the worst service EVER! Was told theyd be out to fix my ride on mower (3rd time in a month) around 11. No sooner do they tell me that he calls me to ask me what belt I need?!! Its the one you replaced what a week ago, you know the one that makes it mow. He tells me it will be more around 2. Well guess what, no call no show! I even spoke to a supervisor who said she would find out why the change, that was at 10:30. Never got back to me! Im now told there is no way to talk to his actual shop but he should be here before 5:30. Im told they added more calls supposedly. I guess they just dont care! Before buying Sears Id think twice, the warranties are expensive and your lucky if they can fix it long enough to mow.
Purchased a new refrigerator in 2016. Had 6 service calls. No one can fix it. Bought extended warranty, knew we had a lemon. Given run around many times, always promised a call back in 72 hours. No call backs since June 29, 2017. Have not had functioning refrigerator since that date. Had case number, review board denied replacing. Now, I am going to have to buy a new refrigerator because Sears cant and wont fix the one they sold me. Worse place I have ever dealt with but will not be guilty of buying or even walking in their store again. Will tell everyone to not ever deal with such a poor running business. They do not stand behind their product. Also, they pass you to someone else on telephone and always lose the call, then you have to start all over again. They are in much trouble business wise, I can certainly understand why. Would not even give Sears one star rating. It is a zero!!
The servicemen who performed our repair were fantastic. We especially appreciated the work of Benjamin Newton. He had been to our home before and, once again, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Thank you, Benjamin, for a great job! You are definitely an asset to Sears!
On time, technician knowledgeable and well prepared, Parts were on hand in the truck and the repair was completed without delay. A test run to make sure all was working and completed a thorough cleanup of the area and equipment. High quality technician doing a high quality job. Well worth the money.
Was over charged when nothing really got done except to find a cause and then quoted with an un-Godly amount to repaid, when replacement would be better.
Ive never had customer service this bad. I wouldnt recommend these people to my enemy. Three trips have been made to my home to fix my freezer also the same complaint with no resolution. The customer service personnel is horrible. Ive made over,30 calls. One day I was on the phone, 40 mins and transferred to 6 different people. They talked over me to keep from hearing what I had to say then accused me of being rude because I wouldnt let them take over me. Never again. Im so very disappointed in this company that has been a household name for years
Very professional. Easy to talk with & knew their business. Recommend them.
Could not have been a better experience. Technician was great. Making the appointment for service was quick and efficient. The technician made the diagnosis, explained what happened for us, and had it fixed within about 30 minutes. Highly recommend Sears service.
Had my washer repaired. The cost was about 1/4 of the cost of a new washer, but I dont like throwing things away, so didnt mind the cost. The repair did its job, though it took a week for the part to get here. I suppose in rural NW Tennessee, thats what youd expect, but it wasnt the most convenient. Otherwise, no complaints.
It took too long to get my mower repaired, about a month. However the service repairman who did the repairs was excellent. He was courteous, polite and knowledgeable; took time to explain everything he did.
Oven still doesnt work!!!!! Repairman came and decided the parts the first technician ordered, the week before, werent necessary so he took them with him. Put another part on my stove and left before making certain it would get to proper degree. Well it doesnt!!! Had another technician come back this week to order same parts! Then another person will be scheduled to come put parts on,HOPEFULLY!!! I have NEVER been so disappointed with repair service!!!!!!
Very satisfied with the service on our refrigerator. Everything the technician did was spot on. We are now having a different problem. The water and ice dispensing buttons do not shut off when you push them.
My icemaker was not working and I called Sears for repair. The first repair was made on June 8. I also bought a Master Service Contract at that time. The first repair did not fix the problem neither has the subsequent four repairs fixed the problem although the last four have been covered by the service contract. It is now November 14 and I still do not have a working icemaker. The problem is that every time the service person comes out, they order parts to be sent direct to my house and after parts arrive then the service is scheduled. It usually takes 10-14 days each time for this cycle, and that is if someone actually got the parts ordered which did not happen at least once. As of now I have missed 10-12 hours of work waiting on the service technician on five or six days and been on the phone to Sears an unknown number of hours, mostly on hold. I have now invoked the no lemon clause of the service agreement to get a new refrigerator. I am waiting on someone from Sears to call me back on this point. It has been less than 24 hours since I called so I will see if they get back to me in the promised 3 day window. The people at Sears that take the service calls are instructed not to give customers their full name so you can never get the same person twice and each time you call, the new person has to review your case history. This is more like a federal bureaucracy than a service organization. If you have another viable service option I would advise you not to use Sears Home Services.
Your repairman, Dave, is courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He does a wonderful job.
Awesome Service Tech! Will use this service again because of the great people they have in there service dept.
The repairman was on time, efficient, and had the correct parts on hand to complete the repair in a timely manner. Very courteous technician.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPAIR MAN WASVERY PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELYMANNER. I WOULD RATE HIM WITH A FIVE STAR.
Worst Sears Appliance repair visit ever. I love my Sears products and up until today was always more than satisfied with any maintenance or repair visits. I have a side by side and while the freezer side was working, the fridge side wasnt. I reported it and the representative ordered the parts he thought would fix it.The only positive thing was the repairman called when he was on the way and arrived within the time frame he gave me.I started the visit telling him the ordered parts had come in and indicated there was a huge build up of ice on the back of the fridge. He seemed very unconcerned and opened the parts and explained to me what they were for. I really didnt need a lesson in refrigeration, I just wanted it fixed.I left him alone to his work as I was doing some other things. I went to check on him about 20 minutes later and he told me what he had found and gave me another lesson. About that time my husband came home. I heard the repairman on the phone and went to see if he was finished and he sounded like he was talking to another repairman. He hung up and said he was almost finished. I again asked about the build up of ice and he siad he would get his steamer from the truck. At that point I left it for my husband to deal with. The repairman left after about an hour and a half. Upon leaving he told my husband it might take a while to start cooling due to the ice build up and he had ordered another part just in case it wasnt fixed. He didnt think we would need it but he was ordering it anyway, just in case.I began checking the temp in fridge about every two hours. (I keep a fridge thermometer in all my cooling appliances). When I went to bed the temp had dropped from 66 to 62. My husband even pulled it out again and melted all the ice from the back. I can open the door and not feel any cold air transferring from the freezer side to the fridge. I never could feel it even when the repairman left. So it wasnt fixed!!Here I am 2 days later and the temp is 60 degrees in the fridge and still not blowing cold air. I wanted to call then earlier but my husband wanted to try melting the ice build up before I made the call. Getting ready to call now.
Repair men are highly trained and motivated to sell appliance and home WARRANTIES... Although friendly and polite, they misdiagnosed repair of my washing machine. They also quote repair at a REDICULOUS high price. They then offer to discount cost of repair if you buy a whole home appluance warranty... $79 / month (FOREVER). Save yourself time and money and check out YouTube for self repair... or call a local appliance repair place with RECENT good Google reviews.
Our service technician was rude and unprofessional. He accused us of hiding parts of the machine and charged an excessive fee (that we were not informed of) for reinstalling the dryer vent hose. When we complained via email about the lack of quality service and rude behavior, we were basically told that there was nothing they would do to assist us.There is a reason Sears is on its last legs and this is it: poor service. I recommend finding another repair operation that appreciates it customers and doesnt treat them like they are actively trying to sabotage the repair of your appliance.
I was pleased with service rendered on my washer. The technician was knowledgeable.
I am very happy with my experience. The Repair man was very nice and did a great job.
Technician was professional and did a great job. My only concern with SEARS has been the same one for a long time and the reason I switched to American Home Shield. Their window of time for a service call is from 08:00-17:00. Essentially, requiring the home owner to stay home and wait all day for a technician to arrive. I can see a four hour window, but a nine hour window is a bit unreasonable.
The repair technician was actually earlier than I expected. He repaired the issue in less than 30 minutes. My only issue was with the cost of the repair. The part itself was over $200 which didnt surprise me. The labor was over $200 as well! Thats what suprised me. Thats the only reason I have it four stars
My dryer is still not drying in the casual cycle. My repair man blamed my dryer not working due to the piping under my house. While it does dry better on normal cycle when I vent differently, my casual cycle STILL does not work. I am beyond disgusted with the service I am getting. I have lost count of how many times I have had a repair man out. I have a lemon for a dryer. I bought all my appliances from Sears but this appliance has caused me more problems.
Excellent service, repairmen knew exactly what was wrong and was finished in 15 minutes...5 stars.
Timely and easy to work with. Repaired our washer to like new condition
Called Sears Oct. 15 and set time up for Monday October. 19 the but it was set up for Rhode Island and the service man was in Rhode Island and called me saying he was at my apt but of couse, Im in Jackson, TN; so they had to reschedule for Wednesday October 21 and I had to take off for work because the window to wait for a call for 8-5; but the repair man, when he came, was nice and prompt and efficient!
Good food with great atmosphere.
The service has paid for itself. I really like our most recent technician and I like that I can request to have the same person back.
It seems with each visit, something new requires replacing. This started off as just changing the oil and blades, checking the lawnmower out. After that service call, it would no longer go into gear. Another visit, ect...This is becoming expensive and I will cut it off if it continues to snowball!UPDATE: After the Third visit, I am resolved to NEVER call for a Sears Repairman ever again! I am curious why the First Technician didnt find any of the THREE issues that the Second Technician supposedly found wrong with my lawn tractor...after he repaired the mower from where the First Technician serviced it? I said I would not consider putting any more money into this mower, he smoothly put in that it would be a good time to buy another Lawn Tractor from Sears, and they would be GLAD to continue providing service calls for it. Ah, HELL No!Making arrangements to purchase a JOHN DEER!!!#neverbuyingfromsearsagain#searsservicetechniciansdontknowjack
It took 2 visits to actually repair the problem. The water pump was defective and the first technician only tightened a loose rotar. The problem is fixed and was done in a timely manner.
The repair person that came out was very professional. He was able to fix our dryer in 10 minutes. Only gripe was that it cost 228 for that.
This recent experience with Sears repair was quite honestly the worst Ive had. Our repair technician was very courteous and did a good job. However, leading up to him actually arriving was fraught with poor customer service to include receiving 3 messages confirming an appointment that nobody showed up for. After several attempts to speak with a representative the day of my scheduled appt to enquirer when the technician would arrive ( I called at 2pm) I was told 1st that due to poor weather conditions the appointment was cancelled and 2nd that the computer actually stated he had already arrived?! This occurred after a 10 day wait on a part for a dryer I couldnt use. When I asked to speak to a manager it again took several tries. I then asked who I could speak with to lodge a complaint. That took three more people until I spoke with somebody who stated she would transfer me to somebody who would formally process my complaint if I would just hold on. After leaving the phone on speaker for 1 hour and 3 minutes with no response other than music, I hung up. I will NEVER make a purchase through Sears again.
Tech did a very good job getting everything done.
So far I am very pleased with the repair to my refrigerator the young man repair man was very cordial very professional and I do believe he has it fixed finally. Thank you
Service was great as always. You cant ask for better knowledgeable people.
Very good, arrived a stated. Lost $421.72 worth of food over a 2 1/2 weeks period. Not pleased with the$200.00 settlement.
Excellent. Keith is very professional and knows what he is doing.
Repair man was nice, but repair issue still not resolved
They fixed it quickly and the dishwasher is working well.
Great service tech, knowledgeable and friendly. I will use them again..
My service tech was prompt and very professional.
My extended warranty has failed me! Sears has never left me hanging like this!
The technician could not have been more helpful and thorough.
The actual repair was very good. The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. But the company that you have hired (A & E) to handle service calls is the most inept group of people I have ever dealt with. When I call, I have to wait a month and then another two to three weeks for parts to come in to fix the appliance after the initial service call. I had placed a call for service for my refrigerator. They gave me a date two and a half to three weeks later. The day the repair was scheduled, the technician called about 30 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive and told me he was ill and had to go home. I completely understand when someone is that sick, but instead of sending someone the next day, I had to call and wait another two weeks. That is completely unacceptable. About three months ago, my washer was not working. I called for service for that appliance and was given another date that was unacceptable. My mother who lives with me is an invalid and I have to wash EVERY DAY. I told them this was an emergency, but they did not care. Before the technician came, I discovered my washer which wasnt even a year old had rust under the receptacle that holds the bleach. I called the Sears store in Milan and after a long discussion, they finally agreed to put a new top on the machine where the rust was visible. When the first tech finally came, he had to order parts which took another week. When another tech finally came to put on the new parts, one was put on upside down and he left after telling me the washer was fixed. The next tech finally fixed the washer and we discussed the rust problem. He told me they had used the wrong paint on the washer that had caused it to rust. Not only was the rust in the top part of the machine, it was and still is present down below. I again called the Sears store in Milan, TN. Since the washer was less than one year old, I asked them to replace it with one that was not rusted. They refused. I had also called about my dishwasher. A&E has worked on it SEVERAL times and in the process sprained the door and the bottom rack so badly that I have to pick the rack up every time I close the machine. The tech came out and sure enough had to order parts and it is still not fixed. These experience have taught me to NEVER, NEVER buy any appliance from Sears, only from a reputable community hardware store that will provide service in a timely manner and stand behind their products. My brother had to buy a new freezer just this past week. He called me to find out where I had purchased mine two years ago. I told him it came from Sears but STRONGLY advised him not to buy from them. He went to the hardware store near us and bought a freezer at a lower price knowing that if he had a problem with it they would provide service in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. A & E, the company that provides your service work is the most pitiful, unreliable company I have ever dealt with. But I wont let this happen to me again. The next appliances I purchase will be from a local hardware store that is dependable and stands behind their products.
Weve had over 5 service calls within last month! We have had 4 repairs and the top part of the washer has been TAKENED off but not secured. Requesting for it to be secured it is very loose!!!☹️ For now the washer is washing.
Ice maker had low flow and looked cloudy despite installing a new filter. Repair person said they didnt do those kind of repairs and proceeded to run charges for the visit without even looking at the fridge.
Very frustrating experience. The repair took over 6 weeks to complete. 😩
Job not done yet
Has to be the worst Sears service I have ever received.
Really good for shopping
Very good
Great
