Just came here for the first time. I walked in with super outgrown acrylic nails and asked for them to be removed so I could get DIP powder. They sat my mom and I down and started working on our nails right away! They were gentle, not rushed and paid attention to detail. I absolutely love how my nails turned out and will definitely go back again! May even come here to get my nails done before my wedding! ☺️

It took me awhile to find a nail salon to go to regularly. Once I found Van, I was so happy, I love her! I go every 2 weeks. Ive never been disappointed. There are times where she does get distracted as mentioned in a previous review but still does awesome nails. Thank you Van!

The work was decent, service was good. The only thing I did not like was the end result were not as great as expected. The nail looks bumpy and not smooth. The color is weirdly patchy in some areas and the white paint is smeared all over the black lines making it look like not that great. Lines are not as straight. I wish they had used stickers for the black lines. Overall, I appreciate their work but it needs improvement.

The Lady did an amazing job at my nails I am so happy with the final product! She was very efficient with the job and they still came out amazing. I highly recommend going. Very good price too.

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience! Its been hard to find a salon that can provide artistic and beautiful nail art. The acrylic overlay is not thick, rather my nails look natural. We made an appointment and were seated on time. We live in Marysville and we will continue to drive the 45 miles one way to this salon every 2 weeks.

Thought I’d give Van nails a try. Very interesting nail shop, I felt uncomfortable getting my hands done because the nail technician (Van herself) was not only rough but was bouncing back and fourth between me and another woman without washing her hands or sanitizing, then when she turns the water on for the pedicure the water splashed so bad it landed on a nearby new born baby, she didn’t seem concerned at all I was the one who checked the baby and moved her away from the spa, not to mention this spa was also leaking water heavily I told Van but again she didn’t seem to care, then as she’s rushing to get other things she breaks a large bowl and didn’t clean it up, I was so irritated by her actions and lack of concern. Plus the nail shop and bathroom were untidy. They also appear to over book appointments. I really don’t recommend this nail shop and I will not be returning. This shop gets 2 stars because I like the way my nails and pedicure came out even though the polish started peeling off a few days after.

Dao and Van both did my pedicure and full set. I am very satisfied with everything they did. Very fun place to have your nails done. Nice employees. :)

First photo is what I asked for, following photos are what I got.I’ve been a customer for some time now and never had a problem until last nights visit. I mentioned I wanted to keep the length on my acrylic set, but Van then proceeded to shave them down. I asked if she would be fixing them and she said she didn’t have a mold to fix them. In an annoyed tone, she proceeded to say that my nails will just grow into that length and all will be fine eventually. These are not the nails I asked for. The appointment was taking a long time as it was so I told her to just proceed. But then the glitter part happened.She proceeded to pile on the glitter for the design causing the nails to be bubbly. I asked if she could fix this ( I’m a beauty professional and have had glitter on nails before and its not supposed to have a bumpy turnout) but she proceeded to tell me it’s not possible to work around this and couldn’t understand what was wrong. I had to take turns with her in buffing my nails to fix the situation. At this point I was there for 2 and a half hours and I was over it. Not to mention she was on her phone most of the time she was doing my nails so she seemed very distracted the whole time. Still not fair to the customer.I just wanted to leave. Paid, tipped. When I got home, I couldn’t ignore how this was not what I asked for. I called Van asking for a new set and she proceeds to argue with me saying I asked for shorter nails, when I specifically did not. I was dead set on maintaining my nail length that day. Then she says if I want my nails done over, she’s going to charge me $35 to fix them. She said my options are get a color change for free or have a new set for $35 more, that was it. I told her I was never returning and she said-she didn’t care. I was shocked and honestly very disappointed to be treated that way. I will not be returning.

Absolutely amazing exactly what I asked for. Also the owner and employees were very nice and gentle with great personalities. 100% recommend.

I rarely leave five star reviews but this place is AMAZING. though i only came in for a simple nail design, the lady working on my nails payed great attention to detail and was super friendly. i had a very pleasant experience here and after calling in to get an appointment only stayed for about 45 minutes which is great!! the service was a great price and i would 100% recommend getting acrylics from here!

Wonderful job on my pedicure! Bring cash if you can. They charge so little that its just a nice thing to do to not make them have to pay the credit card fees. These are super sweet ladies, and the owner is great!

Terrible experience! This is my third and last visit here. I’ve been getting my nails consistently done for 4 years and have been going to Uptown nails until they closed. My first visit was with Van and I was very happy with my fill. She did a beautiful job. A few days after my second visit for a fill, my nails kept breaking. I lost 4 nails within a week. I decided it was time to wait for them to come off and get a whole new set.I specifically requested Van, but she was busy with another appointment. She gave me someone I’m certain has never put nails on before even though she ensured me she was great. The lady who did my nails frequently asked Van what the next step was. After I was visibly frustrated Van said, “She’s doing great. And I’m here to help.” The problem was Van was already in an appointment. I noticed the lady placed way too much powder on a nail which made it look like a bubble. I asked Van about it but she just brushed it off as it was nothing. By the time she put the polish on, it was very visible. Van asked me if I could just pick a darker color. WHAT!! I decided to add a few more layers instead and just deal with it.The nails and the experience was absolutely terrible. The fault is not to the technician, but to Van who is hiring someone who is clearly not ready and making customers pay for poor service. I shared my feedback and she was very apologetic and offered me to come back tomorrow. Between my experience with them breaking and now this… No thank you! I will not return again.

Van did my fingers, and her coworker (sister maybe?) did my toes. They were both so great and thorough. Everything looks great! Very happy with them and will likely continue to drive from Seattle to Issaquah so I can have perfect nails for my upcoming wedding!

Seriously people listen to these reviews! This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I came here with 3 other people and all for a full set of shellac nails. AllOf us were charged a different amount. How does 4 people come to almost $300!!!!!! Then at the end of the service like most people don’t carry that kind of cash on me I was forced (literally she pushed me out of the door to the atm) to take cash out and pay!!! Every person that would check out she would ask do you have cash? You could not pay me to come back to this place! The amount I spent you would think the nails would be amazing?! They were so rushed and extremely rude the entire service! I could have gone to a high end salon and spent less and had better quality! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

This place was wonderful!!! Totally recommend going here they were very gentle with me and my cousins nails and they were very nice! Our nails are exactly what we asked for and they are very smooth and glossy very good quality will be coming back! 😊

This is the best nail salon I have been to. I’ve been getting my nails done for decades and this is certainly the best.The salon is spotlessly clean and tidy with a friendly atmosphere. I like the way Van does my nails. I get a fill with acrylic and she makes them thin coating which looks more natural. Please try them, you won’t be disappointed.

They totally overbook themselves and are very rushed. The place was full at my appointment time, I was still not even attended to and another two people showed up for their appointment. The person helping me, would work for a minute and run off to get the phone, work for another minute and then run off to help another client. That totally affects the quality of work. Will not return. I give them three stars for their politeness.

This salon doesnt know how to properly do a Dip manicure. My nails are chipping after only 6 days after the service was done. I went to go ask for my money back and she refused. This is the WORSE place you could go to for nail service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on this place!!!!!

They double book the appointments and rush you in when they have other appointments waiting. I specifically asked them for a someone who was good with messages. The girl that did my pedicure had booked an appointment 15 min after mine was booked. Felt rushed and quick and like a number and job they needed to get through. Wouldnt recommend

My experience at Van Nails has been PERFECTION! I have been twice for a dip manicure, and once for a pedicure -- my nails turned out perfect, and my dip nails are hands down the BEST I have ever had! Van and Dao have both done my dip nails, and Cindy did my pedicure. They are so kind and professional -- and I cant say enough wonderful things about them. I will be coming to Van Nails for as long as I live in Issaquah.

I just had a pedicure done here, and let me just say, it was absolutely the best pedicure I have ever had. I didn’t get the girls name, she was younger. But she took her time, and it was so worth it. I got the deluxe, they were so nice and sweet, and if you go, try their coffee! I will definitely be back, and also recommend this place to everyone!

Van and Team are absolutely amazing! They do a thorough job on my nails and the best massages included. The store is clean and they are all so friendly. I highly recommend this place which is located near the post office, across from Gilman Village.

First time here. While the pricing reflects current times, lol, at $30 for a basic pedicure, the value included in that package make it well worth it! Ive been to places that have a getem in, getem out philosophy, but the technician (forgot her name😔) did a great job of not only giving me a pedicure, but actually taking care of my feet. My feet and legs felt wonderful afterwords. Thank you!

I had an appointment at the newly remodeled nail salon in Issaquah, the nail artist Wen was very kind and professional and did an excellent job on the S and S nail dip appointment. She was especially helpful in holding the sliding chair steady, as I an elderly and have bad knees, in helping me get up out of the chair to go to the bathroom to wash my hands n the nail procedure. I liked the final touch of the hand massage and hot towels.

I drive up to Cindy’s from Puyallup! Service is great and they are very courteous and professional! Tao did an amazing job! I would highly recommend this salon!

I think this place may have changed ownership recently. The staff are doing a great job but the owner is just walking around and FaceTiming with friends during our service. Not very professional and he’s not helping the staff out in anyway. Not understanding why he is here if he can’t do nails or help out somehow. Just makes me uncomfortable to watch the ladies working hard and a man just watching them work. :-/

Ive been going to Cindys for over 2 yrs. The current owners have made very nice upgrades to the space. The service is always wonderful. I highly reccomend it to you!

Bring cash! This was a great experience after a long stay home order. They have taken every precaution for their clients and we felt very safe and pampered. They have plexiglass between each client, but it is removable for when friends arrive together. They did not rush us out of there and we could stay and visit. This was one of the few places where we could sit and catch up with each other. During the hour we were there only 2 other ladies came and went.

They have done my “fills” for the last several months & have done a great job. I appreciate them listening to how I like it done and delivering it professionally.

This without the best nail salon I’ve been to in years. Very clean, they follow social distancing and everybody wears a mask. I have never had so many people ask me where I get my nails done! I will continue to refer my friends and family to Van nails.

Great service and really nice staff!!! I will be back. I went in to get a full set but after a brief consultation, I ended up getting my nails polished. Even though the technician knew I would be paying less for a different service, she recommended I take a break from the acrylic because I had just removed false nails. I love that they care about the health of my nails.

Great little nail salon. Manicures & pedicures include a good massage, longer than the big salons. Large color choices. Pricing is very reasonable.

Great experience with the staff, fast, friendly. The only downside was that I got gel polish and they didn’t paint my entire nail(stopped right above my nail bed) so my nails already looked grown out after just getting them. Will probably go back and just specify next time, because I don’t like them looking grown out the same day I got them done!

I got my nails done today and I have fell in love with this place. My nails look amazing, and I wasn’t nicked at all- and I have sensitive skin! The women were so polite and she even stayed open an extra 10mins to make sure my nails were perfect. This is my new favorite nail salon and I totally recommend this place!

Dont get real nails done here. A huge chunk of polish chipped off one day later. Less than a week later I had to completely remove it. Afterwards all my nails peeled. This happens when they dont file correctly and overuse chemicals. Total waste of money.

First time I just got a pedicure and it was awesome I just got a fill and every nail is somewhat lopsided and worst of all is on the side of my pinky it looks like a whole chunk is missing. so sad but I wont be back.

I cant remember the gals name who did my nails. But it wasnt Cindy, she was fabulous. She got me in when my other location couldnt fit me in, I had an job interview the next day and she helped with picking out a professional color that woukd be appropriate and our conversation was friendly, small salon but very friendly and quiet atmosphere and very affordable prices. Will be using her from now on.

I have been going to Nancy to get my nails done for about a month and a half now I like the way she does my nails I think they look pretty and I also work in a hardware store so I am rough on my hands all day and never had one chip or break off im very happy with the results I get from this establishment. Also they remembered my name after only the 2nd time going there it think that is sweet.

Ive been going to Cindys for years, but will no longer return. Recently on scheduled appointments Im sitting waiting for 30 minutes to even begin my appointment.They just raised thier prices, which is ok because its posted. However, Nancy doesnt tell you when there is an additional charge until the end with the bill. She charged me an additional $5 for cat eyes, holding a magnet over my nail for a few seconds. She never mentioned the additional price and its not posted anywhere I feel as she was making up additional ad-ons because the owner Cindy wasn t working today. My pedi was mediocre, and the paint job was horrible all over my cuticles. I wont return unfortunately.

I came in to get a pedi and polish change, the main lady was late showed up around 9:30 and had people standing outside then took two ladies before me (i was there first)jus because she knew them and I had been waiting since 8:30, I sat here for a good 30 min with not one person sayin a thing to me,now im siting in the chair getting hands down the worst pedicure ive ever had,she keeps pulling on my toeseven when I ask for her to not do that, I cant believe im passin for this ish! Thanks for ruining my day cindys nails! Came here only because of the good reviews but im in no way impressed!
