I brought my 5-year-old here for her first pedicure as a special treat. She loved it and has already picked out her color for next time! I enjoyed it as well! They took such great care of us and it was clean with Covid precautions you would expect, without impacting the experience.

My daughter had her nails done at this place. The following day her nails chipped, the varnish starting coming off, the nails were different thicknesses and they were hurting her fingers. She was quoted a price of $30 dollars before they did her nails. Upon finishing them she went to pay and they charged her $45. We went back the following day and they agreed to take off the nails free of charge. We asked for a refund but they refused! I’m no expert but I would have thought the nails would last longer then 24 hours. We will never go back to this place and do not recommend it. We emailed the owner but to date still haven’t received a reply. If you do go to this place we recommend getting an agreed price in writing before they start any work. If you have any problems and they agree to take off your nails for free or offer to do your nails again then by law they should offer you a refund as they have already excepted that the work wasn’t up to scratch.

Great place. It’s my go to salon to get my nails done. Not the most professional, more relaxed staff but always very nice and friendly. It has a good feel here. Can almost always fit me in if I forget to make an appointment and call last minute. Love that they do cuticle care. So many places don’t do that. Only criticism is my nails are almost always not all the way straight but I just do two swipes of a nail file at home and all fixed. Love that they make my nails thick enough not to break but not as thick as other places! I prefer my nails on the less thick size. I think it looks note natural. They are great with that! Overall better than the other salons I’ve been to in Issaquah. Will keep it as my go to salon.

This place was horrible. Worst experience ever with my nails. They left me for one full hour with the acetone and add on more acetone twice while I was there. After I called the woman and asked her to removed the nails and that I didnt want her to do anything else, she kept on pulling my left hand and not wanted me to leave.

Friendly service but sub par quality. I came in on a weekday as soon as they opened and was immediately greeted by several employees. I didn’t catch my technician’s name but she was incredibly hospitable. She was probably quite talented but the quality of service was underwhelming. I got a shellac manicure and would have been satisfied had I not noticed the bubbles appearing as soon as I left the place. A day after that I noticed yellow streaks on my nails and the edges were already beginning to peel upwards. Typically this wouldn’t be a big deal but Uptown’s prices aren’t competitive and are slightly higher than other establishments in the area. The polish bottles she used on me were crusted and dry looking, which may have contributed to the yellowing. Overall this place was okay but I am not likely to return.

The masks dont help with the language barrier. I left before my toes were dry and the polish needed to be fixed. I thought they were telling me I was good to go. Nope.

Excellent service! Had the best pedicure of my life and always excellent gel manicure service. And, when I had an issue with a color but had to run, the manager discounted my bill and asked me to come back when I could so they could change the color for me. When I did, they were more than happy to help me between appointments and thanked me, genuinely, for coming back and giving them a chance to fix it for me (and they did a great job). Incredible service!

Im happy with my nude, i find it hard to find this same exact nude anywhere else. My only problem is that i live in graham and isaquah is a far drive for me to just go get them fix, but 2 days later and my nails still look cute!

I tried to give them a shot. I arrived at 5:15 pm on a Thursday. Plenty of time to get a fill, knowing that they close at 7:00 pm because I called ahead . Now the person doing my fill seems to be new. I give him a chance, he doesnt know what he is doing . I am still trying to wait until its done. The fill was questionable.. paint job too many coats. Then I was rushed out the door, I was tell him its not ready. I get to my car and guess what my nails are not completely dry, ugh. I went home and took off all the coats of paint. I am so sick of these rush job people. I paid you to do a service do it right. Now its time to show up all these nail places.

I have been coming here for fills and pedicures with Tina and Tien since covid, but the businesses finally opened again - maybe May? Tien is exceptional on my pedicures. Very gentle on my foot that had surgery and she’s always so lovely to talk to! I’m extremely particular about my nails and Tina knew from the beginning how I liked them. She is awesome. She never fails to make them look perfect when I leave the store. I’ve never had to ask her to change a thing.The store is extremely clean, the other professionals are very kind and accommodating and courteous. I really like coming here. I’m very happy I found it.

Visited this salon for several years and had to switch to a different one recently. Service, cleanliness and quality of work have declined. If you like powder dip manicures, try someplace else. They do not do a good job.

Ive had two shellac pedicures here, as a walk in. Both times I was helped quickly. They do a great job and my toes look perfect! Friendly staff and overall welcoming atmosphere.

There are some really good nail technicians here, and Ive had pretty good experience most times. Ive stopped by frequently for walk-in shellacs and havent had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a spot, if that. Their shellac color selection isnt fantastic, but still what I would expect for a salon. Also, I think pricing is pretty decent especially for how many good experiences Ive had.

Staff is nice and all but their work is trash and inconsistent. First time I went to get acrylics done from them, the outcome was good but 2 days later a nail broke. I go back again to have them fix it and have the polish changed, then within a span of 4 days 5 nails broke and Im not even hard on my nails! I go back and give them another shot to give them the benefit of the doubt. I ask for her to do them a little thicker, she does them way too thick and wasnt consistent with all my nails. Some thick some thin and yet again another nail broke. Definitely dont recommend this place at all

I have come here twice, the first time was a weekday and it was slightly busy but I did a walk in for a shellac manicure and they were accommodating. I do not know my technicians name that day but she did a wonderful job.I came again on a Sunday with my husband. We both got a pedicure and I got a shellac manicure. I made an appointment and it was not busy at all. The experience started positive and the staff was nice. However, around 1 it began to get very busy and the man doing my manicure very obviously started rushing through it. Although it still looked nice enough when I left, it is now chipping just 3 days later. I will not return here because of that. I also had a 20% coupon that I provided to the lady who ran my card and I asked her if it was redeemed, she said yes. Upon looking at my receipt, I did not receive the 20% any of my services.

I love this place! I had my nails done for the holidays and they were beautiful and perfect for the season’s festivities.

Great nail salon! Went in today (mothers day) where it was extremely busy. They were well staffed and attended me right away. They did a little design on my nails that look great and the massages that came with were wonderful. Also the glass of wine and water were appreciated ! Will definitely be back !

My experience at Uptown Nails was very, very good as usual. I have utilized the services at this salon every month for the past six years and have never been dissapointed.

This establishment is so clean and vibrant; I love the reality that they apply a vacuum system to remove the air of acrylic/acetone smell which salons have usually. Their staff is phenomenal. They were very careful with my nails. I will certainly be back in near future.

The people who work here are very nice. The first time I went here my nails lasted a month which is amazing and a little longer than I thought they would. However, I’ve gotten my nails done once per week 3 weeks in a row now because my nails keep falling off after only a few days. It’s been 8 days since I got my nails done last and three have come off already so I’m not getting them done again. It’s way too much money to get nails done once a week. If only they lasted a little longer...

Dont get me wrong, Uptown nails has a very nice staff. However, I had been getting shellac acrylics for while now and i have never had more issues with them than what i have had at uptown. No more than two days after i got a fill the shellac started pealing off instantly. Not only, several of my nails chipped in odd ways that are not typical chips for acrylics. Since i live about two hours away, I wasnt able to come till the problem got much worse and they would only fix the nails that were chipped (6 of them). So basically i have been having to walk around with ghetto nails for about two weeks.

I am thrilled that I found Uptown Nails! Its wonderful. This was my first pink & white process and it turned out beautifully. They were able to fit me in right then for a pedicure (obviously without interfering with any bookings) and again I was so pleased. Everything was very sanitary.The shop is light and airy, very clean and has a calm atmosphere... even with half a dozen clients being served. I felt very pampered, no one was in a rush and their work shows it! When I was not allowed to tip I was shocked! THEY DO NOT ACCEPT TIPS. Thats a first and their prices are comparable to other shops. Well, I am certain this is the ONLY salon for me! Dont hesitate to try them.

I have always called at least a week in advance, for my nail appointments.Each time I arrive, they have over-booked their appointments, and an appointment time, means nothing to them. The third time this happened, I waited for 15 minutes, watching the gal I requested in the middle of a nail fill. They do not care about your schedule, they just over-book and expect you to wait.....I did not. I found another salon, who did a much better job on my nails and was given full attention, not switched around with other employees. I will never return to Uptown Nails.

I had been coming here for maybe 2 months, really like the way that Tina does my acrylics. But for the last 2 weeks communication has been nearly impossible. phone # listed barely rings and goes straight to voicemail. finally got a hold of someone and made an appointment. showed up for my appointment and my nail tech went home because she was sick, which is fine.. if they called and let me know! 25 minute drive there and back. disappointing because they do a good job and at a good price. won’t be back:/ *would like to add they did give me a coupon for next time as well*

I had confused her at first with what I wanted and she started me on a gel manicure. .part way through I clarified and she switched over to a full set of acrylics. I felt horrible but she didnt get upset. Just was so friendly and professional which I so appreciated.This salon is the best. Am going back tomorrow with my niece.I live in samma5so this is about 30 minutes from my home but it is worth it. Highly recommend!

I bought a gift certificate in December 31st and went to use it today. They said it expired on February 28th and told me it was no longer valid. I said with all the chaos going on right now and not a single customer in here, you refuse to honor it?!? They simply did sorry. WOW!!!! How professional! The quality of their work is extremely poor, nails constantly falling off and chips within days. Also, the last 4 times my daughter has been there they have cut her with a file AND they infected everytime! She will never go back right. With this deadly virus going around, is it worth risking your health over a salon that is obviously unsanitary?!?! I only went because I had a gift certificate and will never give them my business. I guess Im glad they wouldnt honor it after all. Hopefully you wont go there! Who knows what infection or disease youll get! Unbelievable!

I got my acrylics done for homecomingThey looked great however the acrylic was too thick, too long, and the gel was peeling off. Not worth the $50

I am on the fence about this place. The girl who did my nails did them very pretty and was a very good multitasker. She was able to juggle multiple clients...however it has only been a week and a 1/2 and Ive already had 3 breaks. Ive gotten my nails done for years and never had this problem. When I went back in to get one of them fixed a shorter older lady fixed it and did a horrible job. It was almost a passive aggressive amount of acrylic. That one nail looks real weird and there was acrylic ALL OVER my finger. She told me, You be careful when I left like it was my fault. Frankly, Ive never experienced breaks like this. Im going elsewhere. : / I wonder if I had the same lady fix that one finger who Jessica had.

Best nail techs around! My gel manicures last much longer compared to other places. They also managed to remove and redo a terrible set of gels that I had done just hours before from another shop that left me with the clear coat adhered to my bleeding cuticles. Learned my lesson and now I stick with these guys.

Absolutely, positively horrible. I checked their customer photos and noted that they could do the ombre nails. At least 10 of their photos on google had that style, so I walked in and asked for an ombre. They proceeded to tell me that they dont do ombre nails?? Beyond disappointed.

Tina pays so much attention to detail, I love it! She clearly takes pride in her work & cares about the customers comfort. If you have sensitive hands like me, she is the one to go to! I ran across this little gem while visiting friends in Issaquah & Im driving back from my residence in Tacoma just to have her do my nails today so that should give you all the validity you need! She is so worth it!The shop is VERY clean too! Everything looks brand new or very well taken care of... And they have the cutest soak baths for pedis that remind me of something out of a mermaid fairytale! I always do my own but Ill gladly support this shop by getting some extra pampering & Im so excited to try them!

Nail places always scare me since they tend to be very inconsistent, but when I went here to get my broken acrylic nail fixed and my nails repainted, they were so sweet and got me in and out asap without being sloppy. I was even given a hot green tea that I didnt ask for which I love! I will definitely be coming back. You can tell they keep people coming because I saw a regular come in hugging one of the employees. One my favorite experiences at a shop. Cute location too!Edit: unfortunately we will not be coming back here. We were sure this was our regular nails place but the past two times weve gone, have been extremely dissapointing. One time we made an appointment at 4:15pm they rushed our pedicures and manicures. My mom wasnt happy with how the nail polish was going on her nails (the polish was too thick and old) and we asked them to repaint them with a newer polish. The girl made it clear that it was an inconvience, she rolled her eyes and sighed loudly multiple times while finishing up our nails. Another time, I noticed the lady put very thin coats of shellac on my nails, so I asked for a third coat. She ignored me completely and basically refused to do it. The manicure barely last three days. So sad! Was excited that these people cared about their regulars, but they dont. Customer service seems to come last unfortunately....

The dont do SNS but do a decent job on acrylic. It is not a relaxing spa/salon salon however, the music is loud, the place is super busy, the staff are all loud and they tend to rotate you between people working on your nails so you dont sit with just one person. If you want a quick job done well, come here. If you want a hour of a relaxing pedicure, seek somewhere else.

Family owned business where they make you feel like part of the family. Great location with boutique shopping and good restaurants within walking distance. Ive visited other nail spas in Issaquah Highlands and downtown Issaquah. This is the best one by far!!

I will never be going back. This was my go to place when I moved to Issaquah. I loved the staff. But one day while I was getting a pedicure, I was sitting next to another women that asked for a facial waxing. The man that was helping her went into the other room and brought the wax pot out into the communal area, which I thought was bad enough by itself (who doesn’t want a little privacy while being waxed) then he proceeded to wax her eyebrows and upper lip. He used the same wax stick the whole time (double dipping back into the pot to get more wax each time) which is putting all of her bacteria, and possible hair and Skin back into the pot that they use on all their other customers. I am in the beauty industry, so I immediately said something but they blew it off like it was no big deal. Except it could get them shut down if State Department was to ever show up. This was repulsive to me. He should have been using a new stick every time he touched one to her face. I will never be going back no matter how much I enjoyed the friendlyness of the staff.

I dont think this salon, the quality of their work, or even the cleanliness is anything above two stars. In addition to that the technicians spend a lot of time chattering back-and-forth in between themselves in their native tongue and its very loud as theyre talking over the music. Not a relaxing or enjoyable experience.

I am really shocked that this store has such good reviews. This is my second time came here and I would never come back again. The lady who did my nails cant even apply the product evenly on my nails. And she is just rush to go home. The outcome is really unacceptable.

They do a great job and really try to take care of you while youre there. Only concern is my polish sometimes chips/peels off earlier than would be expected from normal wear, but that could just be me and not anything theyre doing thats causing it.

I liked how they use plastic covers inside the sink for the pedicures and they were friendly. Lots of colors to choose from and they finish the pedicure putting your feet in a bag with hot wax. Also the massage chairs are amazing, took my migraine away. My feet still felt rough on the bottom, Im used to other places taking more time to make sure my feet are smooth. They werent busy either. I got shellac on my fake nails and they didnt do a very good job.. The sides of my nails didnt have much polish and the top of my thumb nail had a glob of polish that made it look crooked, which two days later came off. Plus my nails were different lenghs. While filing my nail, my skin also got filed and started to bleed. I feel like maybe one of the girls was new, I dont know. I wont be going back here unless I have to and too bad because its by my daughters daycare :( if you go here make sure you pay attention or your nails will turn out like mine lol

The first time there I made an appointment. While waiting for my nails to dry, I was informed they were closing early and I needed to leave. The second time, polish was applied thick and goopy. Not worth the price. They make you feel rushed

It was my first experience going to Uptown Nails. This salon was recommended by a friend who said I should have Tina do my nails. She was amazing and so much more. Not only did she come in on a day she wasn’t scheduled, but she also helped me with a style I found online that I liked. She worked with me to give me what I wanted. I got a mani and pedi done with fake nails for my wedding. I had never done anything like that before and Tina answered all of my questions. Uptown Nails and Tina made this experience stressfree and wonderful.Ask for Tina!!

The place was clean and the women there were very nice. However, its only been 6 days since I get my shellac manicure and my nails have already chipped as if I had them done three weeks ago. Im very disappointed. Especially after I paid $80 for my mani/pedi. The last group of gals who ran this salon only charged me $40 for a shellac mani/pedi. I did get the special pedicure, which came with hot stones, sea salt scrub, and a tingling leg mask rub. I dont think it was worth $60 though. I know other salons that do that stuff for free or way cheaper. I would not have agreed to the special pedicure if they had told me it was $60 or if they had a menu displayed. Im very dissapointed and probably will never come back to this salon again or reccomend it to anyone.
