They’ve always given extremely accurate estimates, professional and detailed explanations, and they have an answer to every single question I’ll have. The paperwork they give detailing the scope of work done is top notch.Every interaction I have with someone from the shop has been professional, kind, and with my best interests in mind.

These guys are great. An actual person answers the phone every time you call. They didnt give me any trouble about my car being modified. In fact, James and the other guys were enthusiastic about it. Communication was always easy. They kept me updated and explained things to me clearly. I would recommend them to anyone in the east Lake Washington area.

I had heard about Autoworks from neighbors and decided to give them a shot when my battery and brake lights suddenly came on one day. Setting up an appointment was easy to do on their website, and I received an email confirmation soon after my submission. The morning of my appointment, I found my car completely dead. I called Autoworks and they were very understanding and told me to bring it in whenever I could. One tow truck later, I was so grateful they still let me bring it in even though I had missed my appointment time. During the day, they gave me a call to give me a diagnosis of the issue, the cost, and an estimated time of completion. They were super helpful and patient in helping me understand the issues. When I went to pick it up, it was nice to see the faces behind the friendly voices on the phone. They seem to really care for their customers! The entire process was seamless. I hope I dont have to be back any time soon (at least not for anything major), but I know that the next time I need someone to work on my car, Autoworks will be my first call.

They don’t know how to schedule appointments. I had a “waiting” appointment, but the wait was open ended. And if a repair is needed they won’t fit it in the same day when they diagnose. Want you to come out twice. Pricing is exorbitant, and they present non-essential repair as essential. Not going back.Update for my response to their response: Go ahead and post the recordings online and paste the link here for everyone to judge. I didn’t demand immediate service. I asked merely for an estimated time. They weren’t sure how long — they said could be 30 to 60 minutes or more, so I said instead of waiting, I would just leave the car there and have my wife give me a ride back home, and come back in the afternoon. The person who I was dealing with was visibly offended by that, and didn’t shy away from expressing it. In fact he admitted as such and apologized to me in the afternoon call. Hope you have that recording too. And yes excessive pricing and false urgency was real. I wouldn’t be surprised a business being legitimately defensive on a negative review, but most of their response to my review is simply untrue.

I appreciated James coordinating with me on the SRS dash light issue. Unfortunately, installing the new expensive switch in the dash did not solve the problem.The adjustment to the hand break made it real tight. These guys are great! They never try to sell me something I dont need, they finish the work on time and they call to check on their work a few days later. Prices are reasonable and its usually easy to get an appointment.

Ive been taking my cars to Autoworks for ~7 years now. Ive always found them to be honest, fairly-priced, and to do great work. They have never recommended anything I didnt need; in fact, theyve told me a number of times when I didnt yet need to do a repair I asked about. In addition, they finish the work quickly and are usually pretty proactive in calling me when its finished. I find the service to be much, much better (and the prices much fairer) than the dealership in Bellevue.

I can not recommend​ them more highly, I wish I could give them even more stars. Autoworks has worked on my personal and work vehicle​ as well as several of my friends​ vehicles​ and all of us have had wonderful experiences​. They are fast, highly skilled, friendly and on the level. Their customer service is top grade. Per usual, I am very happy with the service I received at Autoworks of Issaquah. I procrastinated on bringing my car in and put myself in a bind time wise on being able to get my car back, but they were able to get my service done in one day (despite it being a lengthier service). Customer service is great, and the final price was cheaper than I was expecting.

Excellent service. Their estimated quotes and actual work lined up and came in a little under. They needed to keep my vehicle overnight and picked me up at my office and provided a loaner car. What I like most was when I got my receipt I say a very detailed log of everything I had relayed about the vehicle along with comments from the service manager and mechanic. Very thorough and highly recommended.

Ive always appreciated that they first conduct detailed diagnostics and do test drives as appropriate. Then they call me & we discuss the issues and my options - good or sad. Autoworks prices are reasonable for their quality work. They dont add extra to fix things.

When I needed a full service diagnostic of my 2007 Escalade I called Autoworks and they were able to get me in the next day. James and the team we’re fantastic - turned out the car needed about $1,500 worth of work which was very reasonable given that about 8 different issues were addressed including a 50k service long overdue. The work was completed quickly and I had the car back within a few days - impressive given this was during the big Feb 2019 snowstorm when it was difficult for anyone to get to work. Thanks Issaquah Autoworks for a job well done!

A splash guard for my car was dangling causing a ton of scraping to occur when driving and going over bumps. Unfortunately, I dont have a jack for my car to be able to get under there and see if it was just missing a few clips/screws.I called a few minutes after they opened to see if I can get this sorted the same day and they were able to get me an appointment the same morning. I brought my car in and they got it fixed within about 15 minutes! Was just missing a few clips and a screw which they didnt charge me for which is great! Just had to pay for labor and I was good to go. I definitely am coming back here if I run into any other issues and would recommend as the folks were all very nice and did good work!

Very happy to have found this place. They charged less than 1/3 of what the dealer was asking for my 90,000 mile check up and didnt come up with a list of things I needed fixed. They seem very honest and efficient. It was nice that they have a shuttle service, too.

Wonderful service in a timely manner. Thought I was going to need to have my brakes replaced, when I went in for inspection. Their staff didnt take advantage of a female who doesnt know much about vehicles, when they couldve easily done so. Autoworks of Issaquah staff was very up front and honest that my brakes were in good condition. They also offer a discount to AAA members.

AutoWorks went above and beyond on a pre-purchase inspection for me! I was purchasing the vehicle site unseen so these guys were my eyes and ears. Jon the owner personally did a visual inspection of the vehicle for me and took many pictures and pointed out minor flaws to ensure nothing was missed. Then James was very thorough going over the mechanical inspection report. After talking on the phone with both of them I felt so confident in their report I booked a flight to Seattle the next day!

Autoworks is unethical, expensive, and rude when their diagnostics without any repairs dont give you any insight. And of course they still charge you for essentially useless diagnostic work and absolutely no repairs. Would not recommend.

Nothing special. The Service Adviser was very nice. The part that went bad would have cost me $32 from the parts store. They charged me $73 plus $245 labor. I guess that is part of getting your car repaired. I read one review talking about how great it was not to get a long list of suggested repairs. That seriously was not the case for us. My $32 part came with a list totaling almost $3,000 of You really should get this done while it is here. And by the way, the car runs good. My wife was really confused as to what needed to be done and didnt. Although the service adviser was nice, he convinced her that most the items needed to be done. They provided a very detailed list for the estimate, including parts and labor. I did not see anything worth doing (knowing the condition of the car pretty well), so we opted out of all the extras. When I went with her to pick up the car, the story changed to nothing really pressing, but stuff you might look at in the future. This did not give me a warm, fuzzy about the place. I probably will not go back there. I hate to say it, but it seemed as if they definitely tried to prey on my wife. But I did not listen to the original phone call. Not sure who to give the benefit of the doubt to. My old shop I used to go to would give me the oh by the way list when I picked up the car and would only call me if there was a Holly Crap item. I much prefer it that way. Three stars came up as Its OK, which it was. If you are a long term customer they know you will keep coming back, the treatment may be different. I know with some shops, they are worried that you are a one-and-done and they want to try to make as much money off you ass they can, even if it is not justified.UPDATE: Well, now they are spamming me. To show their appreciation for my business, they decided to spam me. Spammers are the muck of the earth. I will never go back their again.

Weve been going to Autoworks for 8 or 10 years because they are reliable, honest and easy to work with. Mechanics have knowledge the rest of us dont have and, because money is involved, people are always worried theyre being cheated. Not only have we never felt we were being cheated or deceived, but have always had honest evaluations of what work was needed immediately, what could wait, and what could be skipped altogether. Im almost 60 and this may be the best shop Ive ever used.

These guys are top-notch, honest and great at what they do. I have a higher mileage Denali that was leaking oil and another mechanic a couple doors down told me it would be $4,000+ for 4-5 leaking areas and that still may not fix the issue. Not only did Autoworks fix the leak but they did it for under $1000. They said they would start with the most obvious places to fix the leak first and then work to other areas depending on whether the leak stopped. This allowed them to only do what was needed and not do anything unnecessary. Who does that these days? Highly recommend Autoworks of Issaquah!
