Good customer service but these reviews are bold face lies, the WiFi is AWFUL, never works, always cuts out, always buffering, we pay for the best but if the tower isn’t down, somethings wrong at the office if it’s not the office they just say it needed a reboot.... don’t waste your money

We moved to La Cresta in 2009. Theres no cable in the ground out here, and no FIOS, etc. At first, we had to drive down the hill to down and upload as the landline phone connections didnt have the capacity to deal effectively with 2009 Internet.Finding Coast was a godsend for us. Theres no data caps or contracts like the satellite providers impose and our speeds both up and down have improved each year since 2009. The service requires a line-of-sight dish (very small, and unobtrusive) from what I understand so some folks might not be able to receive it. We have a clear line to the Elsinore tower - we now stream tv, and operate a business out of our home - Easily up and downloading advertising graphics, complex spreadsheets, etc.etc. plus teaching online college classes with video. Coasts customer service is fast, friendly and is based here, not overseas. English IS spoken and understood. The folks at Coastinet can also install a wireless mesh in ones home - that eliminates dead spots. If you are sick of Directv, Dish, Hughes and all of those guys - you ought to at least give Coast a call. We are satisfied customers.

So grateful they are an option for us and so we are no longer forced to be subject to Verizon (Frontier now) or Spectrums obnoxious rates and impersonal correspondence. Coastinet has provided us with exemplary customer service and care for years now.

I had this internet service from 2006 to 2008. They had flat monthly rate. I moved. It is hard to find this kind of service anywhere else.

Id rate zero stars if possible. Maybe its the lack of competition for them or they simply dont care about their customers, but their prices and services are infuriatingly absurd. The fastest (Im using that term very loosely here) speeds available for residential customers is 10mbps down and 2mbps up, however, those speeds are a complete exaggeration. Ive been a customer for several years (no other providers available) and have never had speeds remotely within that range. Avoid if at all possible.
