This location has low cleaning practices for Covid prevention!! COVID BREEDING GROUND!!!🛑🛑🚨

I used to be a member at 24-hour fitness, but I always felt intimidated by the gym rats that frequented it. Planet Fitness has a thumbs up environment that makes feel welcome to work out there. They have a section that lets you do a full-body weight circuit in 30-minutes. Also, the basic package includes trainer sessions. Michael keeps me motivated. Theres a sign that keeps squatters away so I can do the full circuit in a half hour. And, when I dont want to go to the gym, their app has workout videos I can do.

This place is great, the only issue I have is that there are multiple people walking in that don’t even have an account. There has to be more organization at the front counter so only members are allowed at gym. It makes no sense for someone to pay extra for the black card membership when anyone can get access to massage chairs and tanning. It’s not fair for those paying more.

Very clean club. you dont walk in and smell that sweaty gym smell.

Going to the gym isn’t always about taking care of yourself physically. Sometimes there’s other things you as a person might need to work on also. The staff at the Irving location is the best. Helpful, attentive, and always there to assist if needed. They work hard to keep it clean and maintain it. Equipment gets repaired in a timely fashion, bathrooms are clean, showers also. I would highly recommend the Irving location.

Busy as heck but still didnt have to wait for equipment or a machine.

Really absurd and ridiculous to be told that you have to put the bag with personal exercise equipment in a gym locker, how can I use it from there? I understand the security, however it is A GYM NOT a park where thePeople are running and I believe here everyone respects each others space, and it is no more than a backpack placed where it does not disturb, I pay a membership to exercise either with my own equipment or with the gym machines. A LESS CUSTOMER.

So, this planet fitness isnt the best. 1st off its locatedIn between auto zone and a discount clothing store on the other side of that is a laundry mat this is the side of town matches mostly Hispanic so be prepared to be the only white person if you are white it doesnt matter to me him letting people now this planet fitness does have very good staff and they keep their equipment very clean. I stayed here over the night In the parking lot in my class CR view with my wife destiny inside who wasWho was helping my wife was very nice deserves 5 stars neighbourhood isnt that great sometimes you hear gunshots but thats Dallas for ya also there is a Walmart on the Other side, A target and a Sams club all in the same areaThere are some people thats sleep in this parking lot at night or during the day because it is a very poorly area but they wont bother you

This gym is amazing! You definitely gotta get the black card membership as the hydro massage perk is worth it alone. The equipment is great and everyone is pretty chill, no judgment at all. The employees are very nice!

The best gym in a clean and safe place. There’s cleaning system in place, friendly staff which is pertinent behind the “masks” 🤣 Ohhh! There’s NO shortage of workout machines.

This place is awesome.... it offers many varieties of workout. Open 24/7, massage chairs, hydro beds and tanning booths... a great place to workout!!!

An older gym location. The water is only hot during very slow times. There is a Trajan in the men’s locker room which you might walk into because it’s poorly positioned. Many of them machines might need replacing.

The gym is good but employees are kinda vacant and dont enforce mask rules and wiping down of machine very well. They dont listen to complaints and just kind of shrug you off. Restrooms need to be cleaned better too

Meh.....Still the same after 2 yr absence.No updates. No new equipment.Some of the recumbent bikes and elliptical machines need maintenance or replacing.

The Planet Fitness in Irving was just fabulous!!! The work out area was spaced properly and very clean. Staff was friendly as always. Made me feel very welcome.

Front desk by the name marissa, very rude the way she was talking to me and also I seeing the way she talks to the people. My daughter is 7 yrs old she just needed to use the bathroom, it was not going to take her to long. And she didnt let her.

Theres a wonderful lady in there named amber very helpful n friendly seems to be always working cleaning .thank u place looks very nice

Really like this location. Its clean and has active users. Can get to the equipment I want to use when I want to use it 9 of 10 times

We go every day. This location is really clean and well maintained!

I like going to this planet fitness especially during the night time because usually there’s nobody working out at that time. The sanitizers and paper towels are always well stocked. The restroom is clean when I’m there. Though the showers could use a bit of a clean up. Other than that I’m very pleased going to this gym.

I’ve been going to planet for over 3 years and it’s about the nastiest dustiest Wright’s all over the place. That planet fitness is way out of order. Somebody needs to clean it up, I’m looking to change to LA fitness. Thank you

Equipment in good shape. Friendly staff. Dont have to wear a mask in ur work out area just while walking about. 👍👍

I highly recommend the Irving location.. it’s very clean and all equipment is working properly. There’s multiple sanitizing stations for you to sanitize to your liking.

It’s clean than most of the other locations but is usually busy at the peak time at around 5PM-8 PM. In the weekend it’s usually almost empty.

Good place to work out

The place is always clean and the staff I’ve been helped by is super friendly! They always greet you when you come and when your leaving they actually acknowledge you by wishing you a good day !I honestly enjoy everything about this gym .Irving blvd location is definitely a great location

Omggg best location yet reason being if you have the blackcard membership one of your perks besides having access to all locations in the states is the massage chairs .. Very spacious locations and clean good vibe

People are amazing and nobody judges. The staff is kind and helpful aswell.

They need to start managing the gym better. People are using this gym as their apartment!!! I mean there is people dress in plain clothes sleeping in the massage tables and people just hanging around locker room. They also are sleeping in the locker rooms!

Gym is fine. A little crowded. Way too many cardio machines but not much leg equipment and no free weight barbells

I go here often, or at least I used to. Anyways, the gym-goers are usually polite and so are the staff. Its probably a policy but, theres a new paper towel dispense system and it either runs out of paper towels or gets clogged. Not only that, but the TVs will stop working and lockers are of limited quantity. Still a good place to go though and those are all smaller, picky, items. Get good gains friends, I know you can.

Staff is lazy and during Covid 19 theyre not enforcing people to wear their mask properly. I understand over weight people will say, I just pulled it down for a second to catch my breath. But thru their entire work out. No thank you... canceled and will never return.

This gym location is the cleanest I have been to out of all of the gyms I have attended in my lifetime, 5 gyms in 3 different states. This gym is the best value and has friendly, down-to-Earth staff.

This is my first week at PF, and everyday i am impress with the cleanliness of the gym by the employees. They clean very often to ensure safety amongs us....the equipment also was sanitized often by staff. Love this gym because of the equipment location, and the equipment are like new.....not too crowded, and just love the ambience of the floor. As such, i am very happy choosing this gym.

Great customer service and clean gym!

Danielle is always so nice during check-in. I was hesitant to join the gym during covid but this gym is very clean and organized. They have all gym equipment socially distant. Someone is always cleaning and I feel very comfortable working out during this pandemic. They also have a accurate crowd meter on the app.

Michael the trainer, was awesome, he showed patience and professionalism in helping me understand the equipment. I really respect him for just sitting down with me before we started to understand my journey.

Honestly, I had no water for the last week due to the storm in Texas and planet fitness gave me a place to shower, so Im super thankful. The gym is also very clean and the people are friendly. it has everything I need equipment-wise.

Worst behavior from employees. Very unprofessional and rude at the reception guy named Luis and another guy.Very careless behavior and when ever asked for the manager to talk about concerns they simply say she is not there. I guess Manager also behaves the same.Worst staff !!

The gym was clean everyone was friendly and respectful of social distancing. Plenty of sanitizer for equipment and hands. Highly recommended!!

I enjoy going at night everything’s well put together and clean and the gym is alone and all the equipment is available. Front desk Staff is very helpful, nice and friendly!

People are starting to leave used paper towels thats been used to wipe down equipment. Working out is fun but when you have some folks that like to stare at you instead of minding their own biz... Working out can become less fun. People on cell phones while youre working out is soooo annoying!

My main complaint is that I almost always have to wait quite a while for equipment to open up. I don’t know if that’s because I started at this gym around the holidays or if it is a just a symptom of having only 5 smith machines.

This gym is simple, great price, have the equipments you need and they have friendly staffs. If youre a person who just want to exercise, this is definitely the gym for you. They do not have a pool area, sauna/steam room nor classes such as yoga, spinning, zumba, etc. However, they do have classes each day for body conditioning/body strength. They also have a tanning room and massage chairs. For the price, youre definitely paying for what its worth. I miss the sauna but with the budget we have, this is a great gym to have a membership for.

Pretty dirty the equipment in bad shape

Clean facility and observing social distance measures the work out 360 area is very easy to use they have very nice people working there that are very helpful and they greet you warmly every time

During this period of the pandemic they’ve stepped up to the plate to provide a safe environment to help people maintain their health goals.

It is an OK gym for starters (I use PF as a back up gym since it is open 24 hrs) but I wonder why they do not enforce members to wear full coverage gloves despite this being a government mandate or taking temperature upon check-in. Anyone could come in with symptoms and still be allowed to be around...

Nice clean

I went to this gym since the beginning of the year and it was awesome with everything I needed for my varied workouts. This gym is always clean and not very busy especially in the morning and early afternoon.

Looks big from outside but not to big on inside but it get the job done. If this was a tender I would swipe right 🤳

I never feel judged while working out! The employees are all super nice! And theres plenty of machines to use so theres no waiting around. I highly recommend the Irving Planet fitness!

Wouldve given 5 stars but the lockers are a bit cramped compared to some other clubs Ive been in. Lots of machines and cardio equipment in great condition. Great cooling system as I dont leave puddles of sweat on both sides of the x-trainer any more. Typical music piped in which I ignore as do most listening to industrial metal.

I transferred to this location from the Bronx NY and they have more equipment here. Very professional staff and clean gym!

This gym is perfect what I am looking for. It is quite durning the day and has all the equipment I need. It is very clean and there is always someone cleaning and taking trash out. The front desk people have always been helpful. The price is perfect. This is a smaller location of Planet Fitness but that is why I like it.

Always packed and not many machines, go at a slow time.

The employees are wonderful and it is a vey nice club; my complaint is the lack of proper equipment. Not a single bench press, four smith machines but no squat racks, and only one rope handle. Its incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Great place, to be honest is kind of small compared to other planet fitness, during this pandemic they put out a lot of cleaning products and they make sure that every machines is 6 feel apart from each other to practice social distancin

I love this location! The staff is phenomenal and super friendly. I enjoy the ability to use the machines at my leisure because there are so many to choose from in this gym. The instructions for the machines are easy to follow, the classes provided are fun and are limited to the number of participants making it easier to have more time with instructors.I also enjoy the ability to go to the gym whenever it works for my schedule since they are open 24 hours a day, except for holidays and then they are usually only closed for about 18 hours.

Clean, modern and well-run. Never a problem any time if the day. Only issue is the staff do not address slamming weights or goofing off by younger members which can be distracting.Overall a good gym to be a part of!

I have the black card membership here, so I can use the hydro-massage beds. I love spending ten minutes on these after a hard hitting workout! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for one of the Smith Machines, otherwise it is a great facility. Very clean and the staff is friendly.

Best gym in Irving. Also the best owner and staff. This gym is pretty new and clean all the time. Its never crowded because its 24/7, so I work out at night.

Good equipment & location. Could do better with sanitation in showers & spa area.

This is a nice gym but doesnt enforce the wearing of mask . The members have them pull half way down or not at all ! The Irving gym is the culprit, not all planet fitness are like this !

This is a beautiful gym, and their trainer was great with instructions. They have very reasonable rates. Love that they are open 24 hours a day.

Fantastic experience nice clean well-kept equipment and the staff is fantastic best gym Ive ever belong to the price is great the times are right and I lost 40 lb over the last year and a half so get up off the couch and come work out your help will be so much better

The trainer was very helpful and thorough. The circuits take the guess work out of the work out. Now I know what to do and how to do it. Nothing holding me back now

The highest class of gyms at an affordable rate. Just the right amount of machines too, so that youre not overwhelmed. The staff are great and help you every step of the way if you have any questions.

This gym is fairly new. I love the cleanliness and how organized the space is. They now offer training for the basic membership prices at an affordable price !
