Hopefully new management has changed this place around. First problem you can hear everyone around you. The parking garage was under construction almost last 7 months of living there so never had parking. When the winter storm hit, I was given 15 mins to figure out where I would move to. Gave us a dirty apartment which was promise to be clean before we moved in(dusty, fire alarm broken, oven almost caught on fire due to dirt, and dead bugs everywhere, etc) didn’t clean until we complained 3 times which was 2 weeks later. Never gave us updates on our apartment being fixed. Promised we would move in before lease was up. It wasn’t. We found mold they missed in my roommate’s closet when moving out. If you are in our old apartment I hope they fixed it.
My client and I experienced red-carpet service thanks to Heather Sparks! She was friendly, welcoming, hilarious, and made our visit amazing! My client decided to make this his home as he moves from out of state! Thank you, HEATHER!!! I hope to bring more of my clients here bc of YOU!
Heather Sparks at Crest is AMAZING!! I am a apartment locator in the area, and she is always so attentive to my clients, responsive, and on the ball. Customer Service is 100%. My clients fall in love with the property AND Heather! It`s a win win sending to Crest!
Not being able to replace a visitors parking pass after providing rude service and attitude. Not to mention the inconveniences at the property.
The parking garage has been under construction since I moved in, 9 months ago. Can never find parking on your floor, elevator is always broken, trash will pile up next to shoot in garage, stairways are unkept, dirty, and stink. If you can see past all of that, my apartment itself is nice.
Elevators always broke. Trash always left out stinks up hallways. Never can find parking on your floor. Office closes whenever they want. No updates about anything but are quick to send notice about rent. Terrible since new company took over. Do not rent here!
POST EDIT- Crest, did you read the review? Your generic comment to reach out to the office is one of the issues! I have already reached out to the office, SEVERAL TIMES! NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.Weve enjoyed living here for the most part. Great location and in walking distance to a ton of restaurant and the dart stop is right in front of the building. The biggest issue we have had is the upstairs neighbors. We have lived here for about 18 months at this point and have issues with them for about a year. Our biggest issue is the lack of assistance from the complex to help correct this issue. It happens daily. Constant furniture moving, large items being dropped, 5 k marathons. Its truly absurd. The complex has made me record the disturbances, Ive had to call the security officer after 11 several times and the office still has no resolution. The office staff is very nice, when you can get into contact with them .Also, we have noticed that the cleanliness of the location has gone down severely since we moved in. There is always trash in the hallways, the staircases and in the parking garage. The stairwells near the garage are the worst with broken glass and what looks like vomit.I would really love to encourage people to live here, but Crest, you really need to step your game back up.
I never had the joy of living here, not sure that I missed out on any positive experiences based off of my interactions, or lack there of, with management here.My girlfriend and I were ready to sign a lease for an apartment here at crest and they then informed us that someone was living in that unit and wouldnt be out when we wanted to move in. After they had told us that this unit was available and we had applied for it.When trying to sort this out, whenever I was to call the leasing office, it went straight to voicemail and I never received a call back, so we had to rely on our apartment locator to do the communicating for us, because the leasing office doesnt answer their phone or return calls.Next, we tried to find another unit similar to the one we initially tried to rent. Our apartment locator was suggested one from the leasing office and we were going to sign the lease, but sure enough the leasing office again had made an error and that specific unit would not be ready by the time we wanted to move in. We were never picky with the time of move in from day to day, but we wanted to move in during august and we were given an apartment that is ready by august, then the leasing office says it will be ready by late September and no earlier, that puts a wrench in our plans. Our apartment locator then sent us one more apartment that worked and fit our criteria for Crest and we were ready to sign the lease, but we noticed that the leasing office still had the old unit number on the lease agreement. We inquired, and the leasing office informed our apartment locator that unit would also not be ready, after they had told her that unit would be available and given us a lease for it. Incorrect lease, but a lease at that.It seems as if the leasing office at Crest at Las Colinas is in way over their heads and cannot conduct the basic tasks of a leasing office. Which is a real bummer because it is a very nice complex and seems to have great amenities and a great location.
Nate, is very helpful and is greatly appreciated. He has always accomplished all we have asked of him. Great Job!!The property is nice but does have issues. My hope is the new ownership will maintain the quality of the property and make improvements. They are trying to deal with issues of cleanliness of residents and are taking actions. The issues I’ve had in the past were resolved, not always as fast as desired but nevertheless fixed!
I recently moved to Crest in January and I’m loving it here ! Great location, too! Walk to retail, restaurants and Happy Hour :)Incredible staff! Like FAMILY! Shout out to Nate! He was/is exceptional in response to questions and helping out with an unexpected situation. He made my move-in experience “doable” as planned. Looking forward to my living experiences here.Bonus points: I have very friendly neighbors too.
I moved in with my boyfriend at the beginning of July 2020. While the manager Nate is extremely friendly and helpful, just about every other experience Ive had since moving in has been so unorganized and frustrating.I had a package mix-up in the USPS mailboxes that could have been easily resolved by just calling another resident. Instead, I never heard back and every time Ive followed up, the employees have been extremely unhelpful and all of a sudden have no idea what Im talking about (even though I left thorough details and my phone number with an office employee). I guess my package will be permanently locked in one of the USPS lockers. Ive also had every package delivered via FedEx get marked as delivered, but never found even though the address was correct. (I realize this has nothing to do with management, but is worth noting if you frequently shop online). So far Ive had to have 3 items re-sent by the retailer because the delivery was botched in one way or another. We called in an emergency maintenance request one evening because our A/C was leaking puddles all over the bathroom floor, and the maintenance employee told us that this wasnt considered urgent and that he would come by the next day. The repair still isnt finished (nearly two weeks later) and we currently have a raw area of sheet rock exposed on our bathroom ceiling. Also, our dishwasher was absolutely disgusting and clogged (trash and a tupperware container from the previous resident was still at the bottom) even though we were told this unit was vacant for months prior to us moving in. Maybe the mess would explain the 3 baby roaches that we found in the first few days of moving in.Overall, the experience of living here (so far) has basically been pulling teeth to get the staff to follow through on anything. Things are either lost, not completed as promised, or just ignored completely. Hoping that our experience with management improves because we love our unit and the community overall.
Nate has been awesome and has helped out with any questions Ive had! The property itself is really nice and well kept up, plus its in an awesome location. 15-20 min from Uptown/Downtown and plenty to do in downtown las colinas too!
So I am getting ready to move and out of curiosity I decided to check the reviews on this place. To be honest, I am very shocked that this place has as high of a rating as it does. 2.5 stars at the time of this review. I rarely write negative reviews but, considering some of the praises this apartment receives, I felt obligated. There are some good features I cannot deny this complex. The location is the best! i sincerely dont think it compares to anything else. Nate (one of the leasing office agents) is really nice and his kindness feels genuine. Youll see him mentioned in a lot of the positive reviews. Hes just a good guy. I understand that I lived in the apartment throughout 2020 and that COVID may have skewed my experience. I have taken their COVID repsonse into consideration when I gave them 1 star because where they lacked was actually in other areas that the pandemic did not affect. (Their COVID response was still bad but I dont blame them)-Parking is as bad as everyone complains. There is never a spot on your floor. Your guests may be able to find a spot but you have to go out to open the gate and then go back out to close the gate, assuming the gate is working. Driving inside the garage is also wild; the space is tight and the corners are sharp. You run the risk of an accident everyday you use the parking garage.-Walls are thin. You are going to hear all of your neighbors. Upstairs, downstairs, adjacent, parallel, perpendicular. Down the hall, on the street, on the road. You are simply going to hear them. Not an opinion. You will hear your neighbors and their dogs.-The leasing office. Earlier I mentioned Nate is a nice guy, I still mean this. The leasing office as a whole and the manager has to be worst liability to this building. The agents cannot do anything to assist. Not even help you find your mail. They make up new rules, send you threatening emails on a biweekly basis, and then dont enforce the new rules they implemented. There are actually a lot of other bad things about this building and I could write a novel filled with suspense. Ultimately, the apartment wont kill you. Even if you were to disregard every bad thing I mentioned, there are a hundred places that share the same location and Im sure you can find someone nice like Nate at another apartment. This apartment just isnt the one. (Maybe Nate should go to another aparmtent as well)
I’ve had a few issues since moving into my apartment which is unfortunate because it is beautiful and in a nice location. I called the front office to inquire about the quality of the WiFi service. When I called the number on the apartment’s website, the woman on the phone wasn’t very kind and abruptly told me to call the leasing office as if that wasn’t the number I had called. It appears the front desk number is linked to someone’s personal phone who continues to ignore my phone calls. As someone who works in the customer service industry I find this to be unprofessional.
I’m currently at a loss for words due to the level of frustration from the move in process at Crest at Las Colinas. Today, November 27,2020 was suppose to be my move in date which I communicated to Ida and se told me she would update the application which she did. Tiffany Adams was our original leasing agent and we started the process with her. After completing our application, Tiffany began to lose communication with us and my roommate and I still have yet to hear anything back from Tiffany. The last communication we had with anyone from the staff was in regards to the lease agreement being incorrect and having it updated which took several phone calls and emails just to have the deposit amount updated. Ida informed me the reason for the delay was due to the office bot have internet service . Also, In my roommate and I initial meeting with Tiffany she stated that we would receive a free accent wall as part of the look and lease pumpkin program, which she later advised me she would have to come up with the colors and send them to my roommate and I which she never did. Tiffany later went back and told us that there was a possibility that the accent wall wouldn’t be done by move in and would have to be done at a later date .Here I am now on November 27,2020, I have been outside the leasing office for almost two hours and no one is here. I’ve also seen several tenants walk to the office in confusion as they also see that no one is there as well during business hours. This entire process has been the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I’ve ever had to deal with concerning a leasing office and their management. I purchased a flight to come to Dallas after a move from a Charlotte NC and this experience has definitely made me very weary about choosing this property. Here I am now sitting outside the building with all my belongings in my vehicle with no email as far as what’s going on or no explanation of wether the office is closed or what. After purchasing a ticket and having all of my belongings with me and driving to a new state I am now being forced to purchase a hotel for the night due to the inconvenience .I am very upset and would like for this manner to be addressed as soon as possible .Update :Ida got me moved in as quickly as possible . Every since I’ve moved in all inquiries have been answered within 24hrs and the staff had been very responsive to my inquiries.I love my new apartment and the area is really quiet which is also a plus as well.
The Lady in the Office Nicole cant do her job properly because she is to busy using her power to fool around with a few of her employees 🤦 Nice apartments though. All the other leasing agents are great!
I have had the same issues of loud music from my neighbors since June 2019. I have reported this multiple times and nothing has been done about it. I have videos of it as well. Management has done nothing to fix this issue. The property is also trashy. The parking garage has garbage and I have seen dog feces in the hallways.
New resident but I absolutely love residing here. Leonor was very patient with me and put my stress of moving at ease. Bianca and Josh have been so gracious with my Handicapped and Disabled Mother who is my caretaker of my fur-baby Prince while I am working. Random Acts of Kindness goes a Long way with me !!! First impressions are everlasting and I am HAPPY to call this community my HOME. Merry Christmas from the Grant family and continued Blessings to come for ALL. These kind individuals are truly Customer Service Experts. True Class Acts
Moved in a month ago and Im so happy with my decision. New to Texas, I was apprehensive about moving to close to the city and trying to find a nice balance of nature and social. The leasing office staff were kind and friendly. I spoke with Bianca, and she set up an appointment to view the unit for the very next day. She walked me through the property and pointed out key spots to eat and hang out a few blocks down. I was in! It was such an easy process, and she guided me through and definitely made the transition simple. Bianca was extremely helpful, genuine and had such high vibrational energy! The property is quiet, prime spot surrounded by greenery and water. Love that this is home now!
Nate called me back while looking around, very helpful and informative.
I moved in here at the end of March and have loved it ever since.Patrick Rodriguez first met with me back on a late Friday afternoon in the pouring rain and still had a smile on his face when he asked me to come back on a Saturday to get a tour. (Dallas in the rain, as yall know, is no place to be driving and I missed the cut off for tours.). That next day, he was all smiles, super friendly and professional. Answered all of my stupid Yankee questions (even a few that I shouldnt have been asking) with poise and intelligent responses. Im not the easiest person to get along with when it and he never lost his genuine smile for the entire hour that he spent with me. I went to go look at a few other places in the area, but I kept comparing them to The Crest. There was no comparison.Patrick walked me through the leasing process and the move in process with ease. That could have been a nightmare, but he made it look easy. I am beyond grateful.Since moving in, I have been very happy. The complex is very quiet, secure, and clean. There are grills for resident use, the pool is always clean, and we are kept up-to-date about everything that is going on in the area. Given that I work way too early in the morning, I havent experienced a lot of events, but there are different events every month for the residents and the few that I have been too were very well put together.I am new to the Dallas area and highly recommend The Crest. There is so much within walking distance or a short drive. Go see Patrick and get your key!
Today I went to Las Colinas, a beautiful little area in Dallas to search or look at apartments where I would like to live. I met Georgia, who greeted me with a very friendly enthusiastic manner and willingly opened to helping people, future renters and help them find and meet their needs. She was so open and very friendly and such a pleasure to work and talk with. in addition to being so helpful she answered all my questions fully and gave me all the information I was needing to be answered. In my days trajectory in looking for an apartment, Georgia from Crest at las Colinas was by far the best and most helpful. The building and the layout was marvelous with all kinds of amenities from a beautiful gym with all the equipment you could use, to an office center and a room where you can sit quietly and work or read or just relax, or even rent the room for having a party or fun occasions. I would definitely live here and actually seriously thinking of moving here in January. Thank you Georgia.
Nate was amazing. Very professional, and constantly thinking of ways that would work for our needs and budget.
I had exceptional move in experience; the ambassador too Crest Las Colinas Apartment Bianca has a delightful an warm Bubbly personality that greet each person with smile, and how can make Crest Las Colinas your new apartment complex. My move in was smooth and effortless, she is unsurpassed at her ability too provide quality customer service too each person she meets. I also would like to thank Georgia who was wonderful as well for her help in my move in process as well. The entire Crest Las Colinas team gets a five star rating from. Thank you.
Ive lived at Crest for over a year and overall I am satisfied. I LOVE the oversized bathtubs and the closets in the 2 bedroom units are huge. Before this COVID-19 mess there were monthly resident events that were fun and well planned. The office staff is helpful and maintenance requests are responded to promptly. You couldnt ask for a better location. Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance to the Toyota Music Factory and the DART train will take you to the airport for just a few bucks.Like others have mentioned parking can be tricky and the cable/internet provider isnt the best, but those arent deal breakers. The hallways and the stairwells could stand more frequent cleanings.
Guys, I will tell you a bit about my experience here at Crest. TV internet is horrible! Low class rate for sure. Very disappointed the Crest views their amenities as only a added bonus to the Crest Mgmt although most people consider these amenities when they are choosing a place to live and for the apartment homes to strip away your amenities that you have paid for while under the lease you have maintained due to the virus, is rough in it self. Recently I requested some concessions to be reimbursed due to not having these amenities that I pay for and I was told no that these amenities are basically a bonus wand not necessities. Everywhere we look companies are giving concessions based on usage and that it’s the right thing to do but not Crest. If you are looking for a place to call home, I would consider another place. I believe everyone should see some kind of reimbursements for the hardships that everyone has been through especially not being able to use what you pay for.
The application process is very stressful, everyday you’ll hear a new excuse on why the move in date is being pushed back. No one is ever in the office or answers the phones.
My experience here has been terrible from having to park on roof due to no parking, my bathroom ceiling leaking, key fob randomly stops working and the trash chutes are always full. Just dirty and over priced.
During my stay in Crest Las Colinas, it was as good as a dream, I highly appreciate Ms. Kristen Harpers high quality customer service to a new immigrant like me. This is the best apartment complex I have ever been living, love it, and recommend it for sure.
I had a wonderful experience moving into my new apartment! Bianca is simple amazing, she answered all my questions and made my move in a breeze. Grateful!
I moved in here back in April of 2017. I renewed my lease this year because honestly it’s a great and beautiful place to live in. Unfortunately there’s a few issues with this community. One of them is that rent it’s a little expensive, but i wouldn’t complain about the pricing if you would be getting what you’re paying for. As I mention the apartments and the whole community is beautiful but I feel that for the amount of rent I am paying for, the complex should be able to afford a security guard to be onsite at all times and they should be able to afford cameras. They have broken into my vehicle TWICE! First time nothing happened to my car but the second time which was last night, my whole window was shattered and there’s a huge dent on my door. And the first thing the leasing office asked me was “you don’t know anyone that might not like you, considering is the second time they break into your car?” Like seriously? None of the entrances have cameras. I’ve spoken with some other neighbors and their cars got broken into as well. This is a big issue that they aren’t taking serious. I understand situations like this can happen at any community and any neighborhood but when the apartment management isn’t taking things like this seriously and installing cameras and having security around says a lot about how much they care about the residents. I regret renewing my lease.
Bianca was amazing! Sold the place very well and they offer amazing amenities! She is an excellent representative and helps makes you feel a part of their community
I see a lot of exaggerated reviews on here so I feel the need to give a reasonable one. Yes this apartment has issues. The noise can be one of them, but then again Ive never been to an apartment where that wasnt an issue. Most of the time its fine, especially if youre not directly next to the pool where obviously people congregate. Parking is another, but again, this is an urban area with limited space. Really nothing out of the ordinary, especially in this area. Probably my biggest pet peeve is that there is no stair access from the ground level to upper levels. From a lot of the previous reviews I think a lot of issues stem from the higher level or dumpster view apartments which tend to be cheaper. Some of the tenants in these areas arent the most respectful, but if you are on the first or second floor you should be fine. Our neighbors are empty nesters and very pleasant. They do community events here too that are good for socializing. I really dont deal much with the office staff much, but aside from one lady who can be rude, never had any problems with them. Overall, the location is great: you have direct access to get on a train to downtown Dallas, nice trails, and are nearly walking distance to the music factory and its amenities. The problems here arent much different than the rest of the area, uptown, Addison, whatever urban area with a high number mid-high rise apartment buildings.
This place is miserable. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors every footstep. Parking is terrible, theres no guest spots and residents usually wind up parking on the roof of the garage due to lack of space. The service elevator has been broken for a while so get used to taking the stairs. They also force you to pay for Cable/Internet through a terrible provider thats extremely slow and drops connection constantly. Stay away at all costs.REVIEW UPDATE: After finally moving out they are attempting to charge me with fraudulent repairs. I noted several items on my inventory condition report when moving in and they have LOST the signed report. HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL? MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL.
I have been in the housing industry for over 10 years now and have a high level of expectation when visiting apartment communities. Carly stood up from her desk and greeted me when I arrived. The tour she provided of the community was thorough. Carly answered all my questions and the ones she was not able to answer she wrote down and emailed me within 24 hours of the tour. I leased 2 apartments from her for my company. Our move in day went smoothly and I have no complaints. I would recommend this property to any other companies looking for corporate housing or friends looking for an apartment. The property is clean and well kept. The staff (Nolan and Kristen are also helpful) is very friendly and professional. The Crest at Las Colinas Station deserves more than 5 stars in my book.
This staff was great to work with during my move to The Crest. Bianca did a tremendous job throughout the whole process and continues to be very helpful and welcoming!
Terrible and cannot wait to move! It is currently summer in Texas and our air conditioning unit has went out 5 times since the 5 months we have lived here! Today is the day before the Memorial Day holiday and it’s 95 degrees outside and guess what the air has went out again! The office said they would send someone but that was before 2pm. The office is now closed and no one came. My apartment is currently over 80 degrees inside. I am definitely calling the management company and the city this week. We have the proof of each time they have came to fix the unit and it still goes out. I’m sure that they want all there $1,900 + that we pay a month for rent though. This is absolutely ridiculous. Please stay away from Crest as there are a lot of other nicer apartments in Las Colinas to rent from!
My husband and I relocated to Dallas earlier this year and after 2 days of going from apartment to apartment all over Dallas we signed a lease on the spot with Crest at Las Colinas. The complex is STUNNING and we loved the area! The apartments (our unit is a 2/2) have generous sized closets, tubs, beautiful granite, and a wine fridge! Our experience in working with any of the leasing agents has always been great and in addition I can say that the 3 times Ive had to request maintenance for various small things the maintenance guy Rich is awesome! The Las Colinas care team schedules community events and a number of the residents do a weekly potluck down in the main common area which is a great way to meet others in the building! Other reviews suggest a rodent issue which has never been my experience. Often times, I feel like people are more apt to write bad reviews vs a good one... with that being said thank you Crest for all the support and fun you provide for us residents!
Throughout my whole leasing process I felt as if every single person in the office didn’t know a thing and I was always being told (even by the mgr) that they would get back with me and never did . On my day of my move I was told to not use the elevator closest to my unit because that was for them . Making my movers go across the whole building did not make sense (since they charge by time) and made me extremely upset that I had to pay more due to their use ... I TOTALLY REGRET SIGNING THIS LEASE, and although the specials are great, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO ELSE WHERE . Or else u will soon learn there are NO PARKING for anyone u chose to invite over . And was told by the manager when I asked for a temporary tag that’s it’s first come first serve after I called friends over to help me move . Mind u I come from downtown Dallas where it’s hard finding parking but NEVER had this problem for my own company . The fact that you need a key fob every single step is annoying af, meaning your letting your friends in on your own if you live on the fifth floor ... such a nuisance ! Sincerely the regretful tenant .
We took a tour with Zack Elder (Leasing Professional at Crest) and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. He went out of his way and time to help us find exactly what we were looking for and answered many additional questions. If you are new to the area like we were or just looking for a great tour of the complex we highly recommend Zack.
Management please answer me why you guys dont do anything about someone complaining about loud neighbors. You wont do anything or reply emails so I am asking you on google....maybe you will finally see my concern. Walls are so thin you can literally hear people running and jumping. This is ridiculous. You complain and management do nothing because they dont care. You need to send a mass email to everyone to keep it quiet since walls are so thin. This is crazy!
I have lived at several apartment communities in my lifetime and each of them always have their pluses and minuses. Some have strong points mixed with areas of concern. Crest is no different from that but I do give 5 stars because of their staff. They have always been attentive and address my needs and concerns. They are invested in the relationships they have with their tenants and to me that is the backbone of good apartment living. No apartment management, in my opinion, can make everyone happy. Apartment community, no matter where you are at, have residents that come from many different backgrounds and ethnicities and I would find it virtually impossible, if I had to do their job, to please every expectation that each resident may have. However, based on my experience, I do find that the staff always try to respond and help in any situation or issue that I have had. Overall, its a nice community and nice amenities. Is it absolutely perfect? No...but that is for ANY apartment complex. I would say if you are looking for a place to call home, to consider Crest. Know that whatever apartment complex you read reviews for, there will always be some that will unfairly review a place because they couldnt get out of a lease or something and they make the whole place look bad. Always visit and ask lots of questions so you can decide for yourself if the place checks off all your boxes. I find review sites can be dangerous as mostly disgruntled customers or tenants will post a review and the folks that are content and happy dont think to take the time to write a heartfelt review of the business. I know that not everyone will 100% happy with any apartment complex, but I can say that Crest has always addressed and taken care of my requests. I hope this helps someone looking to rent here. Bottom line advice is always check out a place and never base your decision solely on a review. Good luck apartment hunting!
The location is awesome. Initially I arrived here as a sublease, Bianca Anhalt and Leonor Yepez helped me a lot during this time. I really like the apartments so I just renewed my leasing and so far the place and the service had been outstanding.Thank you for all your help and prompt response to any service request.
I dont think they are cleaning the hallways on a regular basis, they probably just keep the leasing office area clean. I have seen the same pile of dirt and stains on the floor in the hallways for over 2 weeks. I think we pay enough money to at least expect someone to clean these hallways.
Very pleased with my 12 months at Crest. The apartments themselves are very nice and make you feel like youre getting your moneys worth. The resort-style pool is a big plus, management quickly resolved issues of mine, and the facility as a whole was always clean and well-kept. Main complaint of mine was how noisy the people above me were. Parking kind of sucks, but those are things that can happen anywhere. I decided to move because most people there were much older than me, but thats to be expected since most people my age are not ballers who can pay for a nice place like this.
My experience with Bianca Anhalt was the BEST. She was really helpful and responsive when we were looking to lease there. She answered all of the questions I had. Her customer service was awesome and I will definitely recommend the property because she was so great.
This apt comes with internet and cable. Omg the WiFi is so slow...you can’t finish any work. I have to reboot every 5 mins...just horrible.
Edit: living here for 2 yeas and I can absolutely not recommend this place. Management changed and everything went downhill ever since. At this point I think theyre giving up.Its a nice property BUT management is absolutely poor.
My experience with Crest has been exceptional. All staff members are dedicated to customer satisfaction. So far I have dealt with Carly for my initial booking, followed by Nolan for changes and finally Jasmine for completion of the rental. I have even had the pleasure of dealing with Rich, from maintenance, and he is always cheerful, polite and gracious. At no time was I made to feel un-welcome nor were my questions or concerns minimized or invalidated. I love the apartment which is high end as well as the value provided by current leasing specials at this property. A lot of properties in this area talk a good game but Crest has delivered.
Originally had a 5 star post from a year ago.Since then there have been some management changes and staffing quality went down. No one answers the phone when you call during business hours and you immediately have to leave a voice mail. They usually respond in a day or so. Definitely not same day service. its very hard to plan around. I normally have to leave multiple messages and emails for them to follow through because they are forgetful. The building in itself and location is nice but if you ever run into any issues youre pretty much out of luck.
Lived here for 6 months & love las colinas. Location is great, right next to the dart. Maintenance is prompt with my work orders & staff goes above & beyond. Parking is a bit tight but I always find a spot in the garage. Definitely would recommend my friends to come this way!
Just moved in. Loved the complex, loved the Apartment and the Area. The staff are really nice and helpful. Cannot wait to explore the area :D
Ive been a resident here for nearly 2 years. The visitor parking situation is horrible and SECURITY is pretty much nonexistent. For the amount of rent paid more cameras should be installed in both the garage and on the property. We have been victims of theft and little to nothing has been done to rectify the situation.
Crest at Las Colinas is a very nice apartment complex and I loved them for a lot of reasons. The best i like about this apartment is its location. It is at the dart station. I worked downtown Dallas, it is a pleasant ride to work. It is also very useful if you travel by air frequently. The ride to the airport is good and you do not have to worry about a cab or parking fee at the airport. The apartments are new/like new. The layouts give you a home like feeling. Tall windows, high ceiling and extremely good lighting make them pleasant. They have a feel good factor to them. My husband and me lived in a 1 bedroom apartment, it was quite spacious for the two of us. The kitchen is big with long counter tops and an island in the kitchen. The cabinets are tall, that gives a lot more storage than is apparent. The complex is secure and needs access keys to enter. The nearby lake is very nice. Those extremely sensitive to noise may wish to choose a unit facing inwards towards the pool or similar. The staff at leasing office is very courteous and extremely helpful. The need for service requests is minimal because of the newer apartments, however when needed the response is very prompt. They have an onsite cares team that organizes fun filled community events every couple of weeks. Most days we preferred to go for a walk/run around the lake but the gym is also well equipped and maintained. We had to move out for work location change, but we would love to come back and live here when possible.
I’ve been living here for couple months and I had no complaints until recently. My roommate gave this place a 5 star review when we moved here because at the time the office people where very helpful. Now that Im here it take days and weeks for anything to happen. On top of that, the manager is very rude and inconsiderate. (Everybody else is nice, its just him with an awful service!) Though this place might seem great as you walk through your tour, don’t be fooled by him. They are really great at acting nice, who wouldn’t when they’re trying to get a pay check. I will never recommend this place to anyone so long as he works here.
Dont live here if you ever want to have a guest...there are less than 20 visitor parking spots for a 300 unit building.Visitors cant park in the garage. If your guests have lottery-winning luck and get one of the very few visitor spots, its probably going to be a long walk to get to your place since 2 of the 3 elevators seem to be permanently broken. The leasing agent should tell people beforehand and let them decide if they want to live with such severely limited parking. Ive talked with everyone at the office, including the manager and they cant offer any solution. They say they are working on it, but the reviews indicate this problem is more than a year old. If they dont have a solution at this point, then I dont think there is a solution.#crestfallen@crestlascolinas
Great people, very nice unit, low utility costs. Love the direct access to DART, literally at the front door. Quiet neighbors. Good value for the price.
Unpleasant experience from start to finish. It began with being moved into the wrong floor plan which resulted in time spent paying for and living in an apartment that wasn’t what I had intinially agreed to, after much back and forth I was finally given the correct floor plan and left to move all of my belongings on my own as the only help they could offer was sending one maintenance personal to assist during my work hours. I wish I could say the rocky start was the worst part of my time spent at Crest at Las Colinas but the entire time I spent there was filled with one problem after another, from unfulfilled maintenance requests, unreliable trash pickup resulting in trash being left in the hallways as well as piled in the parking garage, lack of parking never giving you the opportunity to park on the same floor as your apartment and rarely even being able to find space not on the roof, constant turn over in office staff resulting in miss communication (for example I had to re-supply proof of renters insurance 3 times within my 1 year lease due to them misplacing my files). Having finally moved out I was looking forward to finally being done with the constant headaches that calling this complex home brought with it, but unfortunately that’s not the case, I recently received a bill for costs associated with an “unrepairable stove” confused as to how this could be the case I reached out for more information requesting photos as well as an invoice for said repairs, a photo was sent that does not document the stove being in my unit, and I was told no invoice could be sent because there was not one. When turning in my keys I requested a walkthrough with the office staff to avoid any possible situations as the one stated above and was told that wouldn’t be possible, I should have at the very least then requested to return one last time in order to take photos as an extra level of protection, my lack in doing so will ultimately cost me a little more out of pocket, so all I am left to do is to hopefully warn others of the shortcomings of this complex so hopefully they are never in my shoes. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere when looking for your next place to call home.
WiFi is the worst. I can’t finish my assignment without being interrupted and it is very slow. Unfortunate it is mandatory for residents to use their provider.
The garage is very dirty....it is filthy to me exact. Some parts are okay but mostly dirty. Afraid dirt will fall on me from the ceiling. Check it out for yourself.
The parking situation is bad, bad, bad. If you dont return home by 8pm, you will have to park ON THE ROOF. When you complain to management about parking, they will say we dont guarantee you can park on the same floor as your apartment or some bs like that, but hey, do you expect to have to park 4 floors above your apartment? One floor above or one floor below, Im ok with that. But this is ridiculous. They have reserved spots on each floor but you have to pay more for these spots... why should we have to pay extra just to park a decent distance from our apartments? Not renewing my lease which ends in a few months
On October 22nd, I visited this community because I was so excited to see the inside after viewing the website. I was actually SOLD on this property, but just wanted to see it first! WELP.. that all changed QUICKLY.. I walked in and saw a young couple waiting who advised that theyd been waiting for over 20 min. There was no sign advising out on property, or anyone there to assist.. about 5-10 min go by, and in walks this slender female with potential residents. Rude as hell from head to toe, she didnt acknowledge the now 4 potential residence waiting to be helped! Instead, she walked straight into her Right Corner office and proceeded to communicate with the potential residence she was assisting. While I understand it was a Saturday, a persons attitude can either make or break a situation. Had she simply said Hey everyone, Im sorry for the wait, but Ill be happy to assist each of you once I finish assisting this couple, I dont believe I wouldve left. Needless to say all 4 of us left the property due to the fact that this employee FAILED TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE US!! Its really kind of sad because we were all in Awe of this beautiful community.
Don’t be surprise to see a few roaches in your apartment.
Parking is terrible. Dog urine smell is terrible. Make ready is terrible. Building is nice but not maintained to the level of rent amount. Hallways are enclosed and the smell of drugs and trash in the hallways is normal here. They hire illegal personnel for maintenance. I have spoken with other tenants who are anxious to move out.
Dogs, Dogs, Dogs! I’ve been here 6 months and it only gets worse. Tons of yappy dogs barking at all hours. Don’t even try and sleep in (won’t happen). I’ve complained server almost times but they’ve had turnover in the management office. Finally got a hold of manager whose is nice but has not followed up with me to see if it’s gotten better. No garbage pickup on weekends and the garbage chutes are piled sky high. The area around them are full and unsightly. The noise from the pool area/bar b que area is really loud and the sound rises. Most people don’t seem to care. I picked a more expensive building hoping to get a better caliber of neighbors but it has been a huge mistake.countinting down until lease is over.
Dear Prospective Tenant,PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK…I encourage you to reconsider choosing this property during your search for a new place to reside. I only lived in this property for several months, due to unforeseen circumstances, at least on my end. The following information is an account of my experience as a resident at this property:DOGS DOGS DOGS – There are soooo many dogs that are on this property. LARGE dogs. The smell of urine, and dog feces are a constant issue in the common areas near the mini doggy park, and parking garage. People constantly allow their dogs to do their business in this area, among other areas on the property and most absolutely refuse to use the property provided Sanitation Wipes and disposal bags. The building is one of the least sound proof buildings that I have ever lived in before. The constant noise of DOGS barking all hours of the day and night. For example, one neighbor that lived next to me would leave and go to work, and the dog would bark for hours upon hours until I had to contact the leasing office to complain about this issue. Also, keep in mind, the flooring is not the best, so if you live in a unit, other than the top floor, you will more than likely experience noise, especially If they have a large dog. This can be a problem, especially if you are a light sleeper, have work early, and like your quiet time.MANAGEMENT/STAFF – For the most part my experience from the start was pretty good. Joy was easy to work with and usually got back with you in times of need. Patrick is a cool guy from my limited interactions with him, however, he does have a hard time responding in a timely matter and following through with communication commitments. There has been some turnover in management in my short time on the property. Overall, management is very laxed as it pertains to issues. I complained on several occasions about the level of noise coming from a neighbor’s apartment. For starters, the neighbors lived in a one-bedroom apartment with 1-2 dogs, a toddler, and the two tenants. So, the noise was almost unbearable. I even went to the neighbors, spoke with leasing management, the onsite officer on multiple occasions, and I was made out to be the aggressor all because I made loud noise as a retaliation, due to feeling like management and leasing staff did not care about my concerns, and mostly ignored my complaints. What else was left for me to do?SAFETY- There aren’t any cameras that are displayed throughout the building other than the parking garage entries, the leasing office areas including the entryway, and social space. There have been several burglaries including APARTMENT, CAR, ANDSTORAGE facilities onsite. I reported to management about coming home one evening and my storage facility being broken into along with just about every other storage facility onsite.Next, MY APARTMENT WAS BROKEN INTO. Stolen PC, other stolen items, and I’m glad for the most part that I am a minimalist, and most of my important items I always carry on me, or they would have probably been stolen as well. Let’s talk about the nature of this crime. The building requires a key fob or gate code to gain entry at all access points. When my apartment was broken into, no other units had attempted break ins, as the officer that lives onsite was off duty and attempted to look at other doors of the units near mine. Also, according the PD who was called to the scene, there was NO real forced entry. No debris, no broken looks or anything. This officer could not understand how one could “Pop” a deadbolt and no create more damage than what was there. It appeared as if someone used a key and attempted to create some small damages around the door knob to “Appear” as if someone had broken in. THEY USE THE SAME RECYCLED OLD KEYS. Management agreed to terminate my lease due to my break in, and I moved out 2 days later. I will never feel comfortable living at a property where you can’t trust management, the staff, the officer, etc.
A residential apt opposite to urban center, las colinas station DART.
RESIDENTS ELEVATOR IS STILL BROKEN AFTER A MONTH HOWEVER THEY IMMEDIATELY FIXED THE TOUR ELEVATOR WHEN IT BROKE. ALSO THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THE SAME ELEVATOR HAS BEEN BROKEN IN TWO MONTHS. RIDICULOUS !!! BREAK INS ARE ALSO COMMON IN THIS APT. THERE IS NO PARKING BECAUSE NONRESIDENTS PARK IN THE GARAGE AND RESIDENT THAT ARE PAYING TO PARK CANT FIND PARKING. THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT CHECKING ANYTHING AS LONG AS YOU GET THROUGH THE GATE YOU CAN PARK. HENCE THE BREAK INS.
I just love it. But I been looking at different apartments. I just been here only a week.
No parking spaces in the garage available. Trash in the garage always stacked up. Pool area smells like cat pee. Minimal visitor parking. Lived here a year and have yet to correct AC noise problems.
This apartment complex tried to rewrite contracts half way through our lease. Be careful what you sign for them!
One of the best apartments I have stayed over . They provide maximum security and make us feel it’s safe to be back home anytime. Manager Kristen Harper, Patrick, Carly and all other leasing associates are so helpful in all questions.I do accept there are few disadvantages like internet speed is not that great and less visitor parking but other apartments in urban center area has similar issues . The proactiveness taken by leasing team to ensure secure and safe stay is awesome .I totally enjoyed my stay at crest at las colinas this past 1 year and i would honestly recommend crest 👍🏻.. keep up the good work guys .
The wireless service comes with this apartment and the Internet is so slow, I get at least 10 interruptions a day. We pay enough for it and shouldn’t have to pay more to upgrade...I haven’t experience anything like this before. This is insane....
Decent enough apartment though overpriced like the rest of this area. Management will nickel and dime you when you move out.
I am only here because I moved in with my boyfriend.I don’t like that they are in a contract with direct tv (you can only use Direct TV, and you have to pay $80.00 even if you don’t want cable (it comes with 100 free channels and its ALL IN SPANISH :) I don’t get service in my house, so I went to the front office to tell them what’s going on and they said “it’s because your close to the garage” and suggested I go buy a WiFi portal from my phone carrier (i forgot the name) so I can get better service. Why do I have to spend extra money for service I am already being forced to pay $80.00 for WiFi and cable. I am really writing this review because this morning I woke up to shower and found 4 baby roaches in my bathtub 🤮 We are not dirty people, we clean up everyday and do a deep cleaning every Sunday, never in my life, have we ever had roaches!! So now I’m pissed and I wonder what their response will be to this. Someone started throwing glass off of their balcony and we called to complain (asked if they can send out a courtesy email about respecting their neighbors backyards and be mindful of what they throw and do on their balconies) the leasing agent told me “I can’t do that without knowing who’s actually throwing bottles off of their balcony. I cannot wait until this lease is up....I should of stood my ground and waited until his last lease was up so we can pick a place together.
My fiancé and I moved to Texas on a spare of the moment thing back in January. We were on the hunt like crazy for a SAFE area, a nice place, and something that we both would love. We can across this apartment complex and I was in love! It has everything to offer! Staff was very nice and welcoming, tour was great, all questions were answered, and move in was a breeze! We were PLEASED! Until a month or so in and staff really are rude. They are all sweet and nice to get you to pick them! But nope! Rude! We have had one on going issue. And it seems they just like to nag and nag about the same thing. Security is a big thing they said they had and nope! So many cars broke into, mine included, parked in garage and everything. Apartments had been broken into. So security is a joke here! Have had to call the cops a few nights due to some partying next door till early hours of the morning, and the police can not even get into the building. So imagine if something was really bad?! You are required to pay for wifi and dish, and the wifi NEVER works, and the dish sucks, so that’s more money wasted. We so heavily REGRET moving in here. Looks aren’t everything! If they were, this place would be perfect. So if you’re looking into this complex, turn around and go out the door!
Its very unfortunate to live in a beautiful community and pay such price with no available parking spaces on your floor nor the floor above or below you. I have spoken with management and her response was well you can purchase a space, but why when I pay $1900/ mth already. Cable service is ridiculous for $85 and I have to stand outside just to get reception otherwise all callers go straight to voicemail and thats with Wi-Fi network turned on. Cant wait to move.
STAYYYYY AWAYYYYYY!!!!! Upon moving into Crest we were treated awesome! The staff was super friendly willing and able to help with everything we needed. THAT CHANGED!! From the day we moved in and on management was rude and unhelpful. Sending us emails telling us we owe money for carpet damage come to find out that they had the wrong apartment. Calling us telling us to remove boxes feom our balcony immediately or we would get fined, after stating we have absolutely nothing on our balcony not even a chair or table we were told “they counted the windows and it was our apartment” (they counted wrong it was not us). In december My boyfriends father passed away, 5 months later his mother. We were under alot of stress being our families are in NY. My boyfriend recieved a job up North that would bring us closer and able to help take care of his 4 remaining siblings under the age of 17. We asked for a breakdown of our payout and all fee’s to break our lease as the new employer was going to take care of the fee’s for us. Got the amount the employer sent the check, i asked if everything was taken care of from managament i was told yes and our move out date would be july 17. We moved out a week prior. On the 18th we received a call from the extremely rude manager Kristen asking us where the keys to the apartment are. I explained we gave them in a week ago. (At that time the office told us we had nothing else to do and no additional financial obligations. Fast forward to today we get a bill in the mail for $864 i call lovely Kristen and she tells me “our temporary employee made a mistake on your concession fee (our first 6 weeks free PROMOTION on move in, that we had to pay back) he only put down 4 weeks instead of 6”. I said well i have emails from YOU the manager with the breakdown of amounts owed. She then told me i was taken advantage of the “temporary employee’s mistake”. (Seems the other way around) i said i have every email from you stating what was owed. If you messed up thats your reaponsibility not mine being the manager you should know when your employee sends wrog information AND YOU AGREE TO IT!!! She then raised her voice and said “i am not doing this with you read your lease” i said i know what my lease says but YOUR EMPLOYEE CALCULATED WRONG OVER A MONTH BEFORE YOU WERE PAID! And when you were paid you said there was nothing else owed now they are hitting us with an $864 bill. I told her i wanted her managers phone number she told me she will write her an email. RIDICULOUS!! We also have included on the bill charges for carpet cleaning and tv mount wall repair meanwhile we had the carpets cleaned and patched the holes up. Hmmm and were taking advantage of them? They were nothing nut RUDE the entire 8 months we lived there. STAY AWAYYYY!!!! The apartments are beautiul yes they are but the management is HORRENDOUS! She also told me that it was going to be under new management soon as they were selling. Seems like they dont care anymore. They have kept pur deposit and are still trying to charge us more because of THEIR MISTAKE! Complete sham establishment. Parkibg is HORRIBLE. Cars get broken into everyday, tires and rims stolen EVERYDAY IN THEIR GATED GARAGE!!! You cant park outside the garage anywhere around the building or you get towed. Complete joke. STAYY AWAY!!!
We regret leasing an apartment in this community, time and again the community office have sent false notices . They do not take any actions towards it. There is no parking for residents.
Lived here for a little over a month now and the internet and direct tv service is beyond awful. Brought the issue up right away as you cant watch tv at all without it losing signal and was simply told to call direct tv myself and tell them Im a manager to have it resolved. Still have no clear tv signal that Im being charged for with my rent. Recommend spending money elsewhere as the management here is little to non to help tenets out.
Its amazing how my experience pretty much matched Danyelles experience almost word for word, except that I visited about two weekends ago, also on a Saturday. Its disappointing to see that Danyelles review didnt fix the problem that she had mentioned.I too sat and waited for 30 minutes without being acknowledged as did other people except they ended up leaving sooner than I did. It must have been that same leasing agent who passed by with a prospective client and, again, failed to acknowledge me sitting and waiting. In the span of those 30 minutes I saw about 2-3 people come and go. I was willing to go ahead and wait it out only because the person who went to the trouble to recommend the place from an apartment locator service had insisted that I just had to see these apartments.I followed up with my apartment locator agent regarding my experience and he encouraged me to give it another try due to they were just having an off day but, based on Danyelles review, from a month earlier plus my experience, Im thinking its the norm. Based on the leasing office I dont doubt that the units are beautiful but, Im sorry, if this is the kind of customer service (or lack thereof) that I can expect to experience were I to become a tenant, then I 100% pass.
Very nice place. Staff are awesome!!!
I really like this community even tho its expensive than nearby properties. But absolutely hate that I will have to pay $85 For TV and Internet. There is no way one can avoide this package. $85 includes 150 SD channels and 5Mbps. Luxury apartments doesnt mean one has to pay premium for everything. ATT Uverse provided way more HD channels and upto 25 Mbps for same price.
Elevators are broken again. It has not been fixed for 2 weeks. STAIRS STINKS AND ARE VERY DISGUSTING. we pay all this money to live here and cant even use an elevator.
Parking is ridiculous here, guess are not allowed to park in the garage at all, and they literally have like 10 guest parking spaces 10 !!! No joke on the streets ( that says”by permit only “so my friend just moved here and she asked me to come over I have the so called permit and all but have been driving around in circle for 45 minutes because there is no guest parking only the 10 I mentioned above, 5 floor apartments with about 85 to 100 residents on each floor and you have 10 guest parking spots only on the streets that’s it that does not make any sense at all one thing i am big on in apartments is parking I stay in the same type of apartments in the downtown area and I do not have this problem . I would not live here for this very reason
Parking is really really bad.. forget abt visitors.. you wont get a space for residents at 9pm.
Beautiful apartments very secure :)
Parking situation for residents here is appalling and is even worse for visitors
Dont move here, worst neighbors
ELEVATOR HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR OVER 2 WEEKS!!!!
The manager Gabby Rivera is very rude and unprofessional.
No parking.
