Landlord was responsive and helpful. When there was an appliance issue, it was addressed the next day. Very pleased with our daughters experience.
Kayla was a great landlord and always worked with us and addressed all our questions and concerns. And we lived at S. Governor St. Apt and it was so sound-proof. We were so surprised at how quiet it was. It felt like we had no neighbors. :) And Kayla accepted cats so it was amazing that we got to stay close to downtown with our little cat.We highly recommend!
She never fixed any thing in my building. She just comes to my apartment for the rent thats all she does. Not surprise why no one renew the lease with her.She is a phony person
I have rented from Kayla for 3 years and she has been wonderful to rent from. Always helpful with any maintenance problems, great with my kids and friendly while remaining professional.
We have always enjoyed working with Kayla and John both. They are great people.
Kayla is a very poor manager and she definitely plays favorites among tenants. My downstairs neighbors were allowed to smoke pot indoors ( I complained a bout the stink and the effect on my asthma, but was ignored for months)while my son couldnt smoke tobacco outside without her complaining. Then, when I finally got her to call the pot-head neighbors, she violated a state landlord-tenant law by threatening to evict me or raise my rent for complaining! Not only that, she did me the favor of putting it all in writing, duh! The staircases and laundry rooms are filthy and smell like a barn. Dont rent from this place! Andover Square is a real dump. The garages flood when it rains and they are full of black toxic mold. Yuck! Also, some of the apartments are apparently listed on AirB&B because there are always strangers coming and going with luggage, especially on football weekends. Not a good place for families with kids!
My roommate and I were under the impression we had resigned to continue our lease. We did this back in February of 2016. We hear nothing from her about the lease until June 2016 when we are given a letter about move out procedures. We called her to clarify as we stated we wanted to stay. Kayla said there was a confusion with our lease and she had attempted to contact us multiple times about it. She never did. In that time she had contacted us about other things but never anything about an issue with renewing our lease. We were given a 28 day notice about moving out. Which also gave us less than a month to find a new place to live. She claimed she could not renew us because she had people interested in the apartment but she had never to our knowledge shown our apartment. In the last month she also began remodeling things in our apartment. I find the way this was handled by her very unprofessional. It took her forever to fix things. Our tub was apparently leaking but we noticed no leaking it took her months to fix/ replace the shower while in the mean time blaming us for a leak we couldnt see. I would not recommend renting from her.
