I only wish I could give a no star rating to assurance property management.. Rob bender is dishonest. Ive complained about snow removal, Ive complained about maintenance issues. Example I called rob on phone about toilet recently after my husband told him about issue rib claimed to me on the phone he wasnt told, but in a email he admitted he was informed about the issue then claimed he was manager of many properties,he then accused my husband of berating him I found that to be hilarious because he had berates me when our tub drain wasnt working and then maintenance man Ben knew of problem and said he spoke with rob. Be very cautious if you are going to rent from APM

Ive been a resident at 1039 W. Benton St in Iowa City for 3 years now and I had a great experience. Rob Bender and the staff are phenomenal. They are on time with everything, upfront about every detail and procedure, and truly care about their tenants. The apartment was clean when we moved in and if there ever was an issue with an appliance, it was taken care of within days. Look no further for a quality apartment with a reasonable price and close several places in Iowa City.

Rob Bender was always quick to respond and when we stopped in the office they were always friendly and efficient.Our son stayed at the property on Benton Street is was a little older but clean and well kept,plenty of parking and close to the Law School and Campus. Could walk to the football stadium for games too.We would recommend Assurance property management in Iowa’s City.Joe

We lived in Benton Villa for three years and really loved it there. Rob was great and solved all of our problems right away. The apartment was spacious and the balcony was great in the summer. I was also looking for a place with reasonable heating and cooling costs so we wouldnt have to freeze in the winter or roast in the summer, and this apartment was perfect. Another plus is that its walking/biking distance from the university and medical school. The biggest downside is that the walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbors, but thats probably to be expected in an apartment building.

Amazing staff and maintenance... have been staying for more than 5 years without any issues. Rob Bender is the best.

We lived in Hillsboro apartment for 6 years. It is very economical and one of the very few good apartments in Iowa City, mainly because of Rob and his crew, they have been great. I would recommend Assurance Property Management apartments to anyone in Iowa City. These guys are very cordial and honest, and do their best to help you.

We called on a place within 22 hrs of it being listed as a new property on Stuart Court in Iowa City. We were really excited to see this property as my mom absolutely loved it. The problem? The unit isnt actually available. But dont worry, because when you call, they can tell you all about the new places they have for rent at Cardinal Point next Spring. Really? A brand new listing on a unit that isnt even available? This is just a despicable, shady tactic to get you to call them so they can then tell you all about OTHER properties theyre trying to rent.

Ive lived in Benton Villa Apartments for about a year and I have enjoyed my apartment. Ive lived all over Iowa City and have had just about every negative experience you could imagine, but not here. Assurance Property Management provided a clean, quiet, modern space for me to live in. When my fridge stopped working correctly, they promptly replaced it with a new one. Its really nice to have a place to park, which is a premium in Iowa City. The gentleman who plowed the parking lot even lent me an ice scrapper one day when I couldnt find mine. The management that I have dealt with have been courteous and attentive to details. I believe that I will be living here for some time to come.

I had APM for over a year and I miss them. Rob was always available, my yard was always well kept, and service calls were always done by the next day at the latest. It was nice to rent from someone who cared about their properties.

Ive rented from APM for 3 years, in two different locations in Iowa City. Love this company! I recommend them to everyone I know. As long as Im renting in Iowa City, I will be renting from them.

We live at 2432 petsel place. We absolutely love Rob our landlord he will go out of his way to help you out we had our refrigerator QUIT working on a Friday night and i called and texted them and with in no more than 20 minutes later Rob called to say he was on his way with a new refrigerator, we have Never Ever had a landlord care like this this goes to show that if abide by the rules pay your rent that they will help you in every way thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
