Best Gym and Location... Staff are Fantastic!

Used to love this gym. It is quiet, clean, has great machines, a lap pool, and a hot tub. The people at the front desk are awesome. Unfortunately, I had to change my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars because new management is not enforcing clearly posted rules in the pool/hot tub area. Because some people lack common sense and common courtesy, management needs to do their part to keep this location safe and running efficiently and effectively. Castle Creek LTF does a much better job policing the riff raff.

Great. Just the fact that they are going the extra mile to make sure we San Franciscans have a place to work out and take care of ourselves is beautiful. Life Time Fitness are truly shining a light down on us in these dark times.

Good gym, very expensive, 1 month cancelation policy.

Really enjoyed my drop-in workouts here. Staff was friendly upon arrival setting a good tone. Changerooms were clean and the built in customizable locks on all the lockers were quite handy for someone who was travelling and didnt have their lock with them. Equipment was in good condition, no weight machines were out of order while I was there. Lots of cardio equipment and free weight benches and racks. Did not do any classes but the spaces for them looked nice, as did the gym and pool.

I really wish you guys had one closer to me, I want to go back to this gym so bad.

COVID protocols are not being followed. Signs are posted, but the entire free weight area did not adhere to the mask policy and the employees were not enforcing it. Very poor experience as I had to modify my workout due to the inconsiderate nature of others. The gym equipment is well kept, but that was the only redeeming quality. Will not return.

I’m a current member. Nice equipment but they blast their techno music way too loud. Today I had my headphones full volume and could hear their music clearly. It drove crazy so I left 8 minutes into my workout. Never understood why they play their music so loud when most people like listening to their own music anyway.

Im posting on my girlfriends page but my name is Colin so came To caramel for a business trip for just a couple days and really needed a workout. I had never been to a Lifetime fitness and I was curious to try it out. Dominque the manager gave me a guest pass with no hesitation. I really enjoyed the amenities and I’m thinking about joining myself. Thanks Dom!!

Great facility! Though, I was a little disappointed that the pool did not have backstroke flags.

Love the way yoga makes me feel refreshed and ready to take on my life! Great teachers, clean locker rooms, friendly staff, always a good experience at every lifetime location I visit!

Clean place. Love how the equipment is always taken care of. Price is kind of high but they do a good job with their facility

I absolutely love this gym. I have tried anytime fitness, planet fitness, and la fitness. None of those gyms compare to this gym at all. Its spread out, there are two of everything, so even in the busiest hours I can get a nice clean workout without waiting. The staff is amazing, I love everyone there. Definitely worth the money. I absolutely adore this gym.

BEWARE!! I would have given them no stars if I could. I agree with the review that talks about the fine print and 30 day cancellations. This gym does not communicate with you when signing. Heck, they barely even speak and say hello to you when coming through the door or exiting the gym.They are rude and lack customer service. Besides that, the gym is unclean, unkept, the machines/treadmills are broken the TV s do not work and I recently heard they keep raising prices for some members-but not all. The machines are not kept clean the facility or the sauna room. They wont keep the wipes and towels stocked. The female lockers room and restrooms are gross #sick and unclean. BEWARE! You will be better off somewhere else than here!! Not worth your time or money.. for these people to be rude and unkind. Its too many options for consumers to choose from. The one is Castleton is much better is your willing to drive.

Love this place. Been a member for two years and wouldnt trade my monthly bill for any other service. Clean facility thats spacious and has new eqipment. Friendly staff of cool, personable people. Well worth paying more here than LA Fitness. Trust me.

Amazing friendly staff! I had to cancel my membership due to personal reasons. But, overall the facility is clean and wonderful!! Will definitely be returning here!!!

Since new management about a year ago- I love it here- best bang for buck. Management cares and staff make sure to know you and your name. Not always overcrowded and not a pick up place. Members are here to workout not socialize. Very clean and convenient. Its smaller than normal but you wont feel that way.

I really like this facility. Its clean, people are pleasant, and you can get the machines you want without competing. Basketball is also cool in some days.

BUYER BEWARE: 30 day cancellation is in the fine print of the contract and they dont mention it when signing. Not sure why a gym needs 30 days to stop charging a credit card. Super shady policy!

Peaceful cpean and roomy

Not the best or worst LTF. Ive been to several of their clubs over the years and this one is by far the least fancy. That said it is comparable to a nice LA fitness. My company has an agreement with LTF that makes this a no-brainer for me. Gym is clean, reasonably up to date, and the people all seem nice.

Great Staff, Very clean and classy, a multitude of options to work total body out. All of the equipment is up to date and works. Very spacious and I hardly ever wait for use of any of the equipment. Been a member over 3 years now

I was a member for over 5 years with Lifestyle. They sold to Lifetime and within two months all the rumors about Lifetimes poor customer service came true. They raised our prices and became less friendly. I asked to cancel without asking why or trying to keep me as a customer the front desk said sign here in a rude tone.since then they have emailed me twice about rejoining telling me now I can rejoin with only $75 down and $42 a month I let them know I was using the same equipment 4 years ago for $0 down $29 a month and very nice customer service reps.

The facility is mediocre. My apartment gym is better than this. The customer service is horrible. They keep charging my credit card even I cancelled the membership. You will face major hassle when its time to cancel the membership. Not professional at all.After several attempts, they are saying they have not received my cancellation letter. Very unprofessional !!

I had the same problem as the reviewer below only its been worse... I tried to cancel my membership by following the advice of their CS rep- Walk in store or send a letter to the gym site you would like to cancel from. After 2 letters and repeated follow up phone calls I am left with an balance due of $126. It turns out friends are having the same experience.Great gym before purchased by lifetime- now a nightmare to get anything done. Avoid at all costs and consider that you might just be getting what you paid for.

Member since forever. Come to this facility for about a year 6 times a week. Lots of improvements and new equipment lately. Very satisfied.

The equipment is readily available and is reasonable up to date. Free weights just got a face lift a month or two ago +++++ They have what you need and it’s very rarely too crowded especially if you can avoid 5:30-6:30 MWF.The majority of people who go there are polite and considerate of others. You do get your IG models taking butt pics on the squat rack and “multi-taskers” with 4 sets of dumbbells and a rope doing god knows what, some backwards pushups while balancing their waterbottle on a bench and using the 40’s as nightstands (?) but that’s every chain gym that isn’t an iron pit.Mostly everybody just plugged into their headphones doing their thing. Headphones essential because it’s like Pop, Pop, Pop and then some insane high velocity techno Pop when they do a class in the main gym. Bose noise-cancelling pays for itself. But you gotta shout to check if the tricep triangle is free “YO BRO SOMEBODY ON THIS?” and then they read your lips like a secret agent and answer in sign language. Love the modern world.Sauna is great and pool / hot tub is usually wide open. I feel like it’s my private pool every time I use it. And they always have crisp white towels A+.I know thats a lot of work for the staff but they always have a fresh and neatly folded supply.I look forward to going and am headed there now.

Ive been a member for about 5 years (through the transition to Life Time). I like this gym. I primarily swim and the pool is consistant temperture wise. The people are friendly. It is easy to access and equipment available. The price is reasonable.

Equipment is fantastic, facility is very clean, staff is very personable and friendly. Im not a big fan of their group fitness classes though, there arent very many and even the ones they have dont really break much sweat( very low intensity). Im disappointed in that and so stopped going to GF classes. I hope LF would consider adding more high intensity group fitness classes. Otherwise I would be switching gyms soon.

The only reason I am still a member at this location is because of the location itself (It is right accross the street from work). I only use the gym 3-4 times a week and feel like 50% of the time I am there, there is only ice cold water in the showers or I have to go to the front desk to get a towel. There is always something wrong with the facility (whether it is the dryers or the hot water). When hopping on a treadmill it has become normal for me to try 2-3 treadmills before I find one that has a T.V. that works. I am paying decent money to go to this gym. I expect these issues from a $20/ month gym. Please look into investing more money into the facilites. The small things add up. On a good note, I do think most of the staff is friendly and the weight lifting equipment is in pretty good shape.

Ok gym, nothing to phone home about. Staff was ok. Other than the entitled members that think they hog up the squat rack like they are the only ones there not a gym I would join.

Just called to renew my membership asking if there were any specials and was told no and when I asked if there was any way I could get the monthly price I would like I was told i wouldnt be a member and hung up on.

I just got my membership here and now theyre selling to Lifetime! Im really worried because of several bad reviews of Lifetimes customer service and various policies. Heres hoping stays well!
