CrossFit Naptown was very welcoming to me be a short term member while I was interning for the summer. The coaches are knowledgeable and friendly, the other members are welcoming, the workouts were tough but had lots of scaling options and facilities were clean. Overall a great box!
I have been going to NapTown for 6months now, and find it to be all the things you need a CrossFit gym to be. 1) Open and inviting: all the trainers take the time to help you learn the moves/constantly improve upon them in a non-intimidating manner. 2) Educated and knowledgeable: the trainers know their stuff, can (and will) help with any injuries or questions you have specific to your needs. They also pay close attention to good form, and value form over lifting heavier weights. 3) Clean and convenient: they have parking! Its never too crowded, and they have enough equipment for everyone. They also have clean changing rooms and facilities. 4) You leave exhausted (but not injured) after a great workout: They also have many solutions to scaling the exercises to your skill level, so its never the case where you cant do something. You will always work your hardest, and everyone is very encouraging. They also have several payment options (drop in/punch card/membership). If you want to get strong, have fun doing it, and have the convenience of parking downtown, this is the place. Do it!
I loved my time at Cross Fit Nap Town The coaches are knowledgeable and the members are so fun and inclusive. I really liked their focus on technique and safety - something important to me as a beginner lifter. Would recommend Cross Fit Nap Town to anyone.
What an amazing gym!! I joined this gym for about two years, and I really love it. It has very good coaches and awesome community. My fitness improved very well for the last two years. I strongly recommend it.
Crossfit Naptown has become an integral part of my life since joining. The community is great! The programming and workouts are amazing for getting you in the best shape possible. They do such a good job at making Crossfit accessible to all fitness levels and take out the intimidation factor of it by appropriately scaling things to fit your abilities, while also pushing you to do things you never thought were possible!
NapTown is the best. They take care of you no matter the skill level. Attention is always put to safe and effective training to reach your personal goals. I have made incredible strides during my 1+ year and look forward to continuing to improve my functional strength and endurance.

Best CrossFit gym in Indy. They have classes for all levels of CrossFit and weightlifting, as well as multiple levels of yoga. Amazing coaches. The Nutrition program is also excellent.
I was visiting Indianapolis for a conference and decided last minute to drop in on a Friday evening class. I’m so glad I did because I’ve never been to a gym with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The coaching was awesome, the workout was brutal but great. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in town again!
These guys deserve all of the Excellent ratings I can see from other reviewers. I was in town working for a month so I became a regular drop in. I cannot say enough about the quality of the people running the place. Very friendly, helpful, and great coaches. For the beginners they know how to modify workouts and will help you with technique and form as you go along. I am sad I wont be around to see the new renovations the extra room is going to be awesome.If I am ever back in Indy I am definitely going to drop in again.
Did a drop in last night while traveling to Indy. Super friendly/helpful coaches that kept the class structured and moving. Big gym with nice set up for WODs and open gym. Great programming that challenged me but was easily scalable. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Indianapolis.
The intro and complimentary Crossfit class gave me a good feel for the people and facility. The coaches do a great job giving individual attention to learn the moves (hang power snatch, front squats, etc.) when you start. Id strongly recommend to anyone who wants to intensify their workout routine while learning advanced exercises.
Awesome CrossFit gym. The programming is great for all skill/fitness levels. Most importantly, great people and a fun community. Highly recommended.

Naptown fitness has been an awesome gym that has encouraged me to get stronger and provided a fun environment that I looked forward to going to the gym. I started doing Swift for a little over a year with some friend that didnt want to do Crossfit yet, and I just recently switched to Crossfit. Swift was always a good quick workout that was able to scale to start off and then get stronger, and crossfit is just a good hard workout that even in a short amount of time I can feel myself getting stronger.However the best part of Naptown are the staff, shout out to Jessi who is an awesome coach and is just so nice and fun, but also really willing to work to help with my form and also tell me to get heavier weights cause she knows I can push myself more, and was being lazy. And to Peter and Eric who are willing to work with you and really make you feel like a person and part of the community. But overall, it is everyone that works there, and even just to being in a class, when a coach isnt working, but just working alongside you, theyre always ready with some tips or just words of encouragement. Love this place!

I wish I started coming to this place a long time ago. I have been working out for a long time and consider myself to be in good shape, and coming here was a much welcomed challenge. Crossfit is not an easy workout but I can honestly say you get out exactly as much as you put in and Ive never been able to say that about any other workout Ive done. If you arent familiar with certain techniques done, they will assist you until you get it right. My pre-conceived notions on Crossfit made me think the workout was extremely daunting, having seen the Crossfit games on TV. These workouts can be done by anybody, it can be scaled appropriately to your fitness levels and you can build up and you will quickly see results.The coaches and owners are amazing. They are all extremely knowledgable, amiable and enthusiastic. The community here is second to none. Ive gone to different gyms before and have no interaction with the other people there, and not just your typical gym location. I went to a martial arts gym for a year, saw and interacted with the same people 2-3 times a week and 90% of them didnt even know my name (which at two short syllables is a very tall order) . You take the time to get to know the people you workout with and it creates a very friendly, supportive environment. You encourage each other and are happy for their successes just as they are happy for you.If you are looking for a fantastic way to get/stay in shape with a challenging workout that varies daily, then look no further. You owe it to yourself to take care of your body and Crossfit Naptown is the place to do it.

I visit Naptown almost every day! I moved to Indy a year ago and my life would be very different without CrossFit Naptown in my life!
We had a great time at Crossfit Naptown. A group of us travel for work and have the opportunity to visit different boxes around the country each week. We started Crossfit in January 2012 and have probably been to 50 different gyms. Crossfit Naptown is on the top of our list. Peter was awesome and definitely put us through our paces. This was our second time to workout in their box and we will be back for a third for sure. They have a great community there. The members were very friendly and supportive. Peter was very thorough in getting everybody warmed up and explaining the movements. If you are thinking about Crossfit, DO IT, and if you live or work near Crossfit Naptown go check them out.
