I went here because I bank next to the hair salon and I thought I would give it a try. I did have to wait for my turn, even though I had made an appointment. However when it was my turn everyone was so friendly or they were talking about me in Spanish LOL I got a very cute hair cut, and I had had found a picture on the internet and it had like 4 or 5 colors to it, but it looked better than the picture on the internet. So if you want the coolest colors and stylish hair cut I suggest this place. SELENYS. I have posted a picture of my finished look. Thanks so much for all your hard work 💜

We visited saloon for my 3 years old daughter haircut, They are so kind and nice by providing Cocomelon videos on TV and offering candies. Thank you very much both of you. I wish you both have good luck. I will recommend and we will visit the saloon again and again. The Hair stylist is so kind and she nailed it on her work with skills and exceptional on handling kids. I highly recommend this place they make you feel so comfortable and the service is awesome. My daughter had an appointment to get her hair dyed for prom and the place ended up canceling on us so we came here. they treated us with so much respect got us in so that my daughter could feel comfortable on her prom day. My daughter was so happy with the results and next were going to get her hair highlighted.

I visited Selenys today and loved it. The staff was amazing. The main stylist, her husband, and Tina (I hope this is her name) were awesome. I recommend this place and will defiantly be revisiting.

This is the best place I’ve ever been to. I’m from California where hair and makeup is everything and I can honestly say this is the best place you’ll ever see. They do all kinds of hair and the pricing is AMAZING!! Honestly they should be charging way more this place is a steal especially for the amazing quality. I guarantee you won’t find any better.

I have so many amazing things to say about this place! This establishment is more than a beauty salon, they definitely treat you like family and Seleny and her husband really go out of their way to make sure you get the best top notch service. I came in last minute on a Sunday afternoon. I had someone else do my hair and I desperately needed my hair to get fixed. Even though it was going to be a lot of work and time, Seleny and her husband didn’t turn me away. They worked with me patiently and impressed me on the makeover Seleny gave me. This girl really knows her stuff and her worked impressed me so much I believe she needs way more recognition. I usually don’t give reviews but I believe this place deserves a 10 star for the amazing customer service and work that they do. I left this place more than satisfied, I have received so many nice compliments on my hair and it’s all thanks to Seleny and her husband working with me. Please, don’t be afraid to try this place out, you will have NO regrets.

This business is absolutely perfect, I have no complaints what so ever. The quality is perfect, Seleny gave me exactly what I asked for and everybody in there offered great hospitality. I would definitely recommend, they offer and serve coffee at your convenience. They greet you at your entrance and you leave smiling, wanting to come back for sure.

Apparently Selenys offers a lot of different things. I see them doing a lot perms and hair colors. Because I have a Y chromosome, I do not do the manicure, pedicure, micro-whatevers, etc. But I do demand a top quality haircut, beard and eyebrow trim. They do an excellent job. I had the same barber for over a decade, but she moved to Kentucky. I went years trying to find a decent haircut, a consistent cut. Seleny is top notch. Highly recommend. And I like the people there.

Top notch & I’m very picky. They cut my hair and both my sons. Always very kind and there is a big screen for the kids to watch tv when waiting. Wife also was able to get her nails done. Overall I couldn’t be happier with their talented team.

WOW! Great value and a very high quality haircut (and I say this as someone who is very picky about my haircuts). I actually live in another state but often travel to Indianapolis for business and on my last trip I needed a haircut. I was referred to Selenys Hair & Beauty by another happy customer. When I entered, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the shop because Ive been to many shops and cleanliness is something usually lacking in many barbershops. The owners were extremely pleasant and welcoming and made me feel like a valued customer while I waited for my haircut. After a short wait, Seleny came and gave me the best haircut Ive ever had, I only wish they had their business where I live so I could go to them regularly. By the way, I saw an earlier negative review and I cant help but assume it was nothing but a smear and an attempt to hurt the business because I saw nothing like what was described in the earlier negative review.

The only good barber they had walked out during my sons hair cut. The owner is cheap and doesn’t pay his employees well. A man entered the establishment with a beer while playing dominos with the owner. And lastly the owner did the unthinkable and was talking badly of my nephews hair. This business will be gone soon with the unprofessionalism they are practicing. Although the prices are cheaper you get what you pay for. Go to 123 on Shelby Street a little more expensive but a respectful business.

Everytime i walk in they show great hospitality, they have snacks and drinks for sale at a cheap price for your convenience, i havent had one complaint for them they always do a great job cutting my hair i can say i trust them with that (: highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to Seleney’s since they first open their salon. From the beginning I’ve received the upmost respect and services from the hair stylist. She to talented for her own good. The energy in the store is very homey and keeps me coming back. I done received more than one service at this location and will always continue to get service at this location. I don’t trust no one to take care of me other then Seleney. Very clean and very professional

I would not recommend this place. The prices are cheap and so are the haircuts. I HATE my haircut. Owner gave some coffee while I waited... Ok I came here for a haircut not some cheap watered down coffee
