Machos definitely exceeded my expectations! The staff was great from the time I got there until the time I left the chair.My hair was cut exactly how I wanted it and the barber told me his recommendations on what should be done and afterwards it exceeded my expectations!I recommend getting there early because there will be a line of people in there but it is worth the wait.The price are great for the services that they provide.I recommend checking them out if you are looking for a barber or in town on business like I was.

I have been to barbershops all across the Indy area and I can definitely say this is the only shop I will be using in the future! I started coming to Machos a couple of months ago looking for a new place to get a hair cut. Out of the gate it was the best cut Ive ever had. I have a man named Richard do mine. Never disappoints. I watch the other guys cut too, and they all seem very talented. Ive got my father going there now and he loves it too. The place is busy but theyve got plenty of barbers so things keep trucking.. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Looking for a barber shop that was a bit different than the norm, and found Machos. This place is amazing!! The atmosphere is modern, with a cool vintage motorcycle vibe to it. You can tell the barbers are all professional and have a passion in what they do. Every line the guy made was crooked from my hair line, my beard, to my neck. I asked him to fix it and he kept taking more, and more, and more. At that point I had to tell him to stop. Paid 60 dollars, walked to my car and looked in the mirror. Was so dissatisfied I made myself walk back in and request a different barber. There was over a half inch difference in the height of my temples alone, not to mention one side of my beard was curved and one was straight. All in all, I would save my 60 bucks, and 2.5 hours and go elsewhere. Definitely not worth the money or the time. Unless you want a forehead as wide as your ears.

I’ve been going to Machos for a little over a year and they’ve provided some of the best haircuts and beard trims I’ve ever had! I even switched to Machos from a personal hair stylist because when you go in for a cut, you walk out with exactly what you want, 10 times out of 10. The shop has a very modern and cool vibe and whichever barber you end up with that day, you know the quality is the same across the board!

I was quite nervous when I walked in. The place closely resembled what youd expect from a sports clips, etc. Sterile, matching uniforms, etc. Nothing individualistic; I couldnt be more wrong. I cant speak for everyone, but my barber was excellent. Clean fade, quick service, in and out. Im a busy guy, as are most. This was absolutely ideal. Couldnt ask for more, 5 stars.

Called to ask for Julio they said he was there and I can just walk in, he is the best barber there the rest are just beginners learning on people which (I wouldn’t mind that if they charged less), but if I am paying around $50 for a hair and beard cut I expect to get a professional one, turns out he is not there and the owner was so rude and weird about it, they lost my business never going back

I came in, not really used to going into actual barbershops. They had welcomed me, and helped me decide on how I wanted the back, and sideburns to look. Since I had not really know much and have always just went buzzcut, or grew it out. They had listened and suggested to what I had wanted. Great place to go, and worth the price.

Took my 2 year old boy in for a cut and barber was very patient. The place has a nice design, clean environment and many barbers. I probably will be going back for a cut for myself soon.

First time in the shop tonight to get my 3 yr old a haircut. By far the best hair cut he has ever had. Joel ( I hope I got the name right) gave him a short fade w/ a hard part. Joel was absolutely great w/ my son and let him watch Superman on his cell phone during the cut. Big fan of this place.

I have been going to this barbershop for over a year now. Im moving to a different state so I decided to leave a review. This is an excellent barbershop, everyone there does a good job and is chill. Donovan is the one who cut my hair a majority of the time, and he always did a great job and was a cool guy to talk to. They are usually playing various mixes that sound like tropical house or something similar -- I guess it depends on whether you like that kind of music, but I do and it always made me more relaxed having it going in the background.Overall, I definitely, highly recommend this barbershop. Ive been to shops all over the country, and this place ranks up there with some of the better ones I went to in San Francisco.

I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he talked me through the whole process and did an awesome job and cut my hair exactly like the picture. Ive been going to Machos over several months now between two different barbers and hands down, best service and cut in the Indianapolis area.I was looking for a barber that would be comfortable doing a skin fade and a shave. Most barbers Ive visited arent comfortable with skin fades. Machos is basically first come, first serve. Ive never waited more than 30 minutes and that was around the holidays, however I only go during the week days. On my first visit, I opted for a skin fade, a shave, a steam towel and under eye mask. It was very relaxing and Id recommend it to anyone.The overall shop atmosphere is awesome and the staff are all very friendly. Theyre willing to make conversation if you want to talk.They also use some high quality products and equipment here! Ive purchased some styling product based on their recommendations and in-store use.Lastly, they do accept cards at a 1-2% charge; cant remember which. Which I appreciate because most barbers that arent affiliated with a chain are cash only.

I’ve been coming to Machos now for around 2 months and I probably visit this shop almost every other week as I like to keep my fade fresh. Machos is clean, the staff are very friendly, welcoming, and are 100% professional. The biggest thing that amazes me is the consistency of their work. I’ve had my hair cut by everyone in the shop and they’ve all exceeded my expectations every time I’ve come in. They offer coffee, water, and even have chargers available if your phone is running low. They offer more services than just your normal barbershop. I wish I could award these folks 10 stars. They’ve definitely proved themselves to me and I’ll be a client as long as their doors are open.

I see people getting some really nice haircuts, but Ive yet to receive a decent cut. I think pretty much everyone has cut my hair there and everytime it ends up wrong. I had medium length hair before my last haircut and now I have silly military cut I did not ask for. I did give them some starts because everyone is always very friendly.

This barbershop is legit one of the best ones I’ve been to. All the barbers are precise with their technique and it feels like it’s a craft to them rather than just giving a haircut. They take their time with their clients and ensures the cut is exactly how you want it. Though a little pricey, for the type of service you’re getting, definitely worth it if you’re the kind of person that cares for a smooth, lasting haircut.

Best place in Indy for a mens cut. They offer razor fades that are the super close and tight. They take time to make sure you are happy with the cut. My favorite is the Razor fade. I typically see Chico or Joel but all of the barbers here are very skilled. I have sent my family and friends here and they love it to. I have also gotten a shave and beard trim here. Would highly recommend all of their services.
