Maybe this will get some attention since calling doesnt. I was supposed to move into Lynhurst Park the first week of June 2021. I completed my application and lease packet in May. June 1st rolls around and the unit still wasnt ready as promised which left me effectively homeless, the second week of June comes and I had to come up to the office and get some answers. I finally got the unit to be expected and what do you know? It FAILS after getting the run around for weeks. So I canceled my application and asked for my holding fee back. I was told no problem. Every time I call, about my money I get the run around. The property manager is forgetful to say the least, as she has called me multiple times asking was I still interested in an apartment, at which time I have let her know that I am waiting on the check that she promised. Today I call, and after politely asking for the corporate number, the office assistant put me on hold, then hangs up on me when I ask her name. Okay fine. So now you will have reviews left on every single website. The office staff in this community are incompetent and rude. Every time I stepped foot in their office, there was an unhappy resident complaining. I even had residents stop me outside to warn me not to move in, and Im glad I took heed. There was also always tons of trash piled up every time I visited the community. If you are desperate fine, but if you have options please move elsewhere.

I use live there with my auntie they gave her 3bebroom apartment with dirty carpet wall dirty threw white paint on her cabinet it fail section8 6 times I dont know why section let it pass I think they knew inspector cause they put spray paint on wall where dirt at I swear my auntie cry when she seen the place we need place stay that why she took it and another thing they got and roaches and mices real bad and holes everywhere the furnace got lot holes where mices come fromthere walls thin downstairs neighbor knock on your door just for walking in your apartment that how bad it is 😂 floors are thin too dont move here they give you dirty apartment

Crazy I wasn’t able to get a four bedroom they have available due to my before tax amount yearly was too much. You would think they would want a decent family to move in who could pay rent every month on time Consistently! Not to mention she had me sign both of my money orders so now I’m out the 35 dollars luckily I didn’t write anything on the 100.00 money order besides my name! Wasted not only my day but I also left work early to get there and they was at lunch at 230 in the afternoon! And was gone forever!

She lied and said the rent was 1099 dollars for a 2 bedroom.

I would recommend this apartment complex to everyone who wants to be welcomed to a great community. I meet the office staff they were so friendly and professional and very knowledgeable and gets the job done quickly

Rented 3 years. Needed an apartment so moved in. They had replaced carpet but there had already been damage done to bathroom sink. Looked like curling iron had damaged it. Ceiling fan in bathroom wasnt fixed until I sent them a letter. Garbage disposal stopped working. When they had inspection, I told them about it, and nothing was done. Called about it later and nothing was done. Finally sent a certified letter then something was done. Noisy area and blaring of radio from cars. Children are running in the streets after dark.That was after numerous other request that were not responded to. I sent a certified letter to get that last request done. I have a voicemail on my phone responding to a my needed my globe replaced after a storm broke it. The response seem to not be in relationship to the request. All repairs were not done after the letter.

I love the office staff. They make you feel so I would recommend the apartments.

I am super excited to be a new resident! I have wanted to live here a very long time. The office staff is great!The application process and office appt.were handled with professional competency and very relatable at the same time. At ease my husband and I felt that every detail was attended to. Welcoming and reassuring!The community is in a quiet setting that is both beautiful and well maintained! The grounds are lovely to stroll and have relaxed walks with or without your fur baby.There is a well appointed gas station and laundry mat within a short safe walking distance!The area is not far from Marwood Plaza, Walgreens,CVS, and easy bus stops.Minutes from Downtown, Airport,Interstate!!I know we will be very happy and comfortable here!

Ive lived in LP 5 years. Thru the years theres been ups and downs but the property and its current staff are amazing! You wont find a more knowledgeable and understanding group of people. Weve all stuck together, theyve kept us informed and offered several different options for help especailly during this pandamic. They have an open door policy and are eager to craft a solution to whatever issues may arise! In my opinion this is a great place to live and I would recommend it over SEVERAL other complexes near by.

This apartment complex is a complete joke . I have lived here three months and Im ready to leave!!! If I could break my lease I would! The new manager of the property is a complete ass! Does not help anyone he thinks everything is a joke. This place is not kept up. There is only one maintenance man. And people stuff gets broken into all the time! Instead of fixing things such as the pool they just close it. Little kids run around here with no one watching them. The people at the office are awful most of them do not know what they are doing. And there are people allowed to record your children while they play and nothing is done about it. Instead we are told to just stay away. So my kids cant play out side anymore! There is never anywhere to park there are people in one house with four cars. I HATE this place and cant wait to move. Oh and if you call corporate they will never answer or call you back. The appliances are outdated and I have to flip The breaker to turn them on sometimes and I pay over $1000 a month for a three bedroom. Its not worth it! Cant wait to move

I have lived here for over 6 yrs. and we finally seem to have received awesome maintenance...I do not believe the maintenance we had previously was even working because they never came to fix anything when it was requested and they would come and half do the work needed to be done... Since our new team here they have fixed things in my apartment with no complaints from me. I am at peace now and wouldnt mind staying Even the garbage has gotten under control because of the maintenance. Four stars for maintenance

Waste of my time. Unnecessarily had me running around for a week to offer me an apartment they did not have. The whole staff in incompetent, and unable to do their job efficiently. Not to mention they are ridiculous for ugly outdated apartments

Very nice experience. I went to Lynhurst Park to View an apartment and I fell in love. It seems like the property is well maintained and the young man in the office was very nice and showed me around and was very personable. The apartments are very affordable if you have low income and they look better than all of the other places I viewed in the area.He did inform me that the lower income apartments are on a waiting list and offered me a list of their sister communities. I plan on getting on the wait list soon.

In my experience from 2011 it used to call good citizen apartment till late 2014 since then it was getting worst specially mid 2016 to date.the office manager is very irresponsible very disrespectful and luck of customer experience, he is unable to solve any kind of problem, the money order that I paid a year ago, fortunately I have the receipt every single month they sending to me a letter of intimedation whenever I got to office I show the the receipt they make a copy after several months he come with this receipt doest make any sense, I talk to money order operator they send me an explanation letter who used the order I gave to him that letter he throw it into the trash the same later sent to my apartment again he said I dont have that letter he ignored one more time I paid money to receive it still out standing problem never solved.the apart is amazing people are really great the problem is the manager.

Terrible! My cousin stays there and I have investigated what was going on. She hasnt received a bill that remained consistent. Her bill consistently rises. Also if you pay electric to the apartments and receive an electric bill from IPL you have to pay both. If you dont pay the electric bill with the rent you will be forced to pay or get evicted I do not recommend that anyone with common sense stays there.

I had a problem with heat all winter long and come to find out it was my compressor and it took them until june to fix and my electricity ran very high from this situation and I fill its there faulty problem that resulted this issue especially when you live in a one bedroom and your bill $259.00 a month

FInally, after a year and a half we have a great management and maintence team here at Lynhurst Park Apts. The ladies in the office are simply awesome and have really made some positive improvements and our maintenance guys are always on their game keeping the property clean and maintained.... This team has proved to me that they were worth the wait... Now everybody just get comfy and STAY right here... My husband and I lived here for 1yr and 3 months too long! My number one complaint was the huge mold issue this place has! They tell you to spray it with bleach water but it returns no matter how many times you spray it! Its a health harzard, especially if you already have health issues! The 2nd greatest issue is the trash! It was always littered throughout the complex. The staff is also overburdened by their duties and dont have time to respond to demand of residential issues. I dont blame them but the owners of this facility! Rest assured that they are well aware of these problems!

My husband and I lived there for a year and it was the worst year EVER !! The office never answered the phone and the maintenance people were non existent. We didnt have a fire extinguisher the whole time we were there or air until 2 months before we moved out . To make things worse our neighbor above had roaches and they were coming through the lights on the ceilings . We would walk in the kitchen and find several dead roaches on the floor . The maintenance man told me to call the maintenance hotline next time I had a problem but they never seemed to check that either . Every time we looked up the office hours would change or they were never in the office to begin with . Dont move here or youll REGRET it !!

I called to inquire about rental, lets just say that was a waste of time. My uncle told me to walk in, so I did and from that day nicole has been on the grind for us. unfortunately, properties will do what they do. With that said I so appreciate her efforts. Really, Shes been lovely.Fast forward moving in.We moved in the 7th, Id say I started noticing ssues the next day. Its now the 13th issues have yet to be addressed.1. Water is cloudy2. Lawns full of dog poop.3. Doors are missing inside piece.4. Found screws on carpet & a nail on the bathroom floor.5. bathroom cabinet missing 2 side piece.6. 1 door fell off the cabinet.7. Vents look dirty.7. Heat running cold has to be on 75 or higher.8. Toilet bowls have rust in the middle.9. Closet doors not hinged at the bottom.10. Holes on living room walls, hole on 1 bathroom door and laundry room door.11. Bathroom sink plugged. (Pictures above is of my sink stopper)1/22/2018Our cars were towed.Parked my car Sunday night. Monday Morning around 8am mlm my husband informs me our cars are missing.Apparently we are suppose to have parking tags. Guess who dropped the ball on this.I hope the owner sees this review.Im tired of issues coming up. I have a 3 month old i therefore have far more important things to do than constantly emailing about things that need fixing or the ball got dropped on.10:01am. We are at the tow place to get our cars.Last Saturday I emailed that i wanted our locks changed cause i lost my keys. Lock just got changed 1/25/2018. Glad the banner of God is over us. 4days to change a lock. .not a safety risk at all.20days and only 2 or 3 things we needed done has been done.

Lived here for three years and the complex simply got worse every year. I wouldnt recommend this facility to anyone.Maintenance requests were rarely if ever handled in a timely manner; even simple issues often took a week or more for a response. Complaints about other tenants were simply ignored, whether they were noise complaints, vandalism, or reports of other illicit activity and warranted so many calls to the police that the police department actually asked me to stop calling them. Market price for these apartments is ridiculously high; it is the most expensive apartment complex on this side of the city.When I moved out, every other tenant in my building either wanted to leave when their lease expired or paid the early termination fees just to get out while they still could. Even a maintenance worker, supposedly offered free rent to live in an apartment in my building, declined it so he wouldnt have to live here. If the staff doesnt want to be here, why would you?

Everytime I have been to the office Candice is very very rude. I have been told different stories each time about my possible move in date. I was before someone else on the application list and they gave an apartment to that person when I had already paid the fee.

My experience has been a nightmare. The office manager talks and treats people horrible. Nothing gets fixed right they never have the have the right parts to do anything . When you try to call the office or corporate they never return calls. Our pool is closed most of the time because of violence or destruction. The manager will not address violent people who continue to destroy and threaten people. We have homeless people living in storage units kids threating teating up property and nothing is done. My granddaughter is terrified to stay with me anymore because kf all the violencr. I have had to have family members go to the office witb me because the manager Dabid js so rude and disrespectful to people. Our dumpsyer is so filthy it avyually makes you sick to take your trash up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It seems management and corporate offices do mot care about what goes on here. I have had to get the boatd of health and section 8 invplved to get my apartment fixed. I would recommend to drive rigjt by this place and fo not stop

Rated to a dislike. Disappointment should be a option. Location of apartments was perfect to where i wanted to be and the apartment i viewed i loved! David helped me through the application process. I say in quotations because he wasnt a real help, REALLY nice but seems like he is very overwhelmed considering he was the only one working each time i came in to check on my application, which was a total of 3 times in a month.I came in on March 1st explaining my situation, needing to be moved in by April 6th or before. He assured me that was fine if i brought paperwork and a 135.00 money order, 100.00 to hold, 35.00 for application fee by the 3rd. I did the next day and started the longest application Ive ever been through. If i knew i would have never applied!I had to come personally every week following to check on the application because no one answered the phone, i even emailed him twice -no response.Every time i came to check, he would pull my file and say oh! We need this..... Oh we need to fix this.....If i would have never made a trip to the office those 3 separate occasions my file would have collected dust. On the 23rd of March i gave up after my 3rd try and renewed my lease bc i was getting to close to my move out date and i couldnt trust David to approve my application.David called me on April 4th wondering if i was coming back. Smh glad i trusted my gut, but im still out of $100! Be careful!

I have lived here from day one .It saddens me to see how this place has gone down. In my first lease it said after i was here for 5 years they would give me new carpet or paint my apartment. Got neither one.The mowing crew is a joke.The grass it out over the sidewalk. You would think the management would check things ; peoples windows look terrible. Trash on patios.Street lights out.I hav a neighbor that has people staying there all the time an not on the lease.People living there with ankle bracelet on so the police can track them.Way to much going on there.Nothing will be done about it.I hav seen people put out of here for alot less than what they do .It dont do any good to tell the office. Sad Sad Sad.

Im hoping since we got new people in the office that things will get better even thought our cars could of got tow because we didnt get a notice about back in parking which I love to do because I have trucks and there is always kids little kids running around and I would hate to back into one.....
