Ive lived at Ashton Brook for eight years, and I(now joined by my wife) keep renewing my lease because the location is ideal for us, we have a wonderfully diverse set of neighbors, and the rent is reasonable. The 2019 renovations were welcome as well. We were considering buying a home, but the housing market has been too crazy for that. So Ashton Brook has been a fine place to ride out that storm until things get more reasonable again in the real estate market.

My wife and I have lived at ashton brook for nearly 3 years at first it was clean and everything was pretty nice. Renovations happened and during this they put the toilet in our bedroom for some reason, right next to our bed. Not a new toilet the old one. They also left numerous holes in the walls and caused other damage they said would be replaced but never was (including knocking over my wifes flower stand and breaking a pot) then when time for move out came I moved using the SMCRA and they made a big deal about it. I was given orders to both move and get deployed with less than 20 days to go and ashton brook still demanded the full 30 day notice, even though they did the bare minimum required by law it is sad they are not willing to help either those who have lived there happily long term or active duty military members.

Been great so far. I love how quiet the community is during the night hours. The dog park is definitely a big plus! I moved here from downtown so definitely enjoying the peace and quiet. Really awesome to have a newly renovated apartment as well.

Great management and great houses. All our shortcomings were made as soon as possible.Management is genial and the entire all deposit we have given has been returned.I think goodest is gas, water and home insurance in the rent.Thank you for everything.

I lived in Ashton Brooks Apartments for 2 years. Choosing this place was one of the best decisions we made before moving to our own home. I definitely suggest Ashton Brooks Apartments. Wonderful people working in the management, office, and maintenance. Kurtis, Rene and Mayra are all great and they answer your questions and make sure that everything is all set. Very SAFE neighborhood. They renovated all the apartments and they tried their best to make it an smooth experience for us. Although, it was the time that I had important exams but I remember they managed to be on time and provided proper accommodation and internet connectivity for us during the renovation. They did not change the rents much after renovation which is great for new people looking to rent an apartment. Plus it’s so close to monon and so you can go for a walk or biking whenever you would like. It’s less than a minute drive to target and wholefood and many other shopping locations. They keep the area clean and if any problem occur maintenance will be there shortly. Maintenance are very professional and finish the job efficiently. Utilities such as water, gas and sewer are all included in rent.The new negative reviews might be due to the renovation and challenges it had with it such as having to move to temporary accommodation and not being able to use gym and laundry room due to renovations but hey now renovation are done and now APARTMENTs are in their BEST shape and you can just move in and ENJOY :)Overall, choosing Ashton Brooks Apartments has been my best renting experience. It was a safe, beautiful, and warm place to live.

Neighborhood is decent apartments updated but lots of bugs .. definitely won’t be here more than a year IF THAT

I really enjoy living here. Any time I have a maintenance concern the issue is resolved quickly and aptly. My experience with both the office and maintenance staff have been very positive.

Thank you to maintenance for their quick response on my work orders, I came in to the office this week and they had my issues addressed in the same day. Office staff was welcoming and seemed to genuinely care.

I love this apartment, and they have excellent service. Renee is also very great and helpful. They respond quickly and continuously notify all of the residents on what is occurring. Safe area and awesome management. Never had any issues.

The complex is undergoing renovations, yet the crew doing the renovation has no respect for anyone living there or the adjacent property. They blare music all day long over the sound of their equipment. Ive called the office several times with no luck or answers.

The recent remodel here made my apartment significantly worse. The work was half a** and left us with a number of maintenance issues.Doors not hung properly.Leaks in the kitchen (both above and below the sink) and the bathroom.A light fixture fell on our first night back.Our oven is so far out that we cant open the silverware drawer.There was literally water coming up from the floorboards due to water leaking in from the water heater.The complex is generally OK, but these remodels havent gone well for many people here.

Nice staff. Free heat in winter and beautiful grass and trees in summer. Easy access to grocery store and all points of interest on 86th st.

Very clean and well maintained. All staff very responsive to needs; Quiet and beautiful.

When issues arise the leasing office tends to struggle with immediate resolutions. Lack of communication when certain residents have security systems. This leads to multiple instances where the alarm is just tripped to go off. You would think they have a list of certain residences that require a security code to enter. Rent is sure to rise every single year. The community looks nice but could use some work where it really counts!!!

I moved in here because me and my x broke up and I needed a place to live ASAP. I didnt plan to be here more then a year, and I wasnt happy here at first, I didnt even unpack all my belongings for months. But 3 years later and Im still here, its peaceful, quiet, and safe. Its very easy to like it here, close to every kind of restaurant, shopping, and entertainment you could need or want. My only complaint is rent, in 3 years its risen each year, but that is my only issue. They are fast with problems, their maitenance is top notch and quick. The staff all know who you are and are very kind and helpful. Its a great place to call home, and the apartments are surprisingly quite roomy.

Lived there an was aweful!!! Worst apartments there are from office to maintaiance an many aggressive dogs like one of the maintenance men who then refused to pay for severe damage his dog did!!! Best thing did was move out!!!Never cared how I felt when there an wont bout you either or checked on me after dog bite!!!. My opinion!!! Now have to go to court to get my money for dog damages an have worthless dog put down because on fixed income an cant an shouldnt have to pay for worthless dog an owner!!!!!!All my opinion but...Find other apartments..trust me!!...

Fitness center has been unavailable for months due to renovations that began in July- August of 2019.

Awsome people in the management and office. They know what they are doing. Mayra is very kind and considerate. Free heat in winter. gym. It is a warm place. Easy access to grocery store and shopping malls. Close to monon. I am glad Im living here. Clean and safe area.

Live here for three years. No complaints about the stuff (got all my deposit back). Nice price for the north end. Took a star off because the location. Across the street is a really shady area that tends to generate crime. My truck was broke into twice. Nothing was stolen just destroyed my lock.

HORRIBLY ATROCIOUS

This is by far the worse place I have lived. When I moved in the ants were terrible. They were in the cabinets, in my food, everywhere! I called the front office they did nothing. The new management is a joke. Every since the old property manager Jerryln left it has went down hill. They lost my rent payment and stated I owe more money for rent they lost! They have no type of accountability for anything. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The new property manager is rude and he doesn’t listen to understand. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! IT IS NOT WORTH IT! I am very disappointed in my decision to move into Ashton Brook.

I have lived here for over four years and everything was fine until they changed the people in the office and the maintenance people. I called the emergency maintenance line to get my AC repaired and when I got in contact with someone they told me that they wouldnt come out to repair my AC because it wasnt hot enough to consider it an emergency. It was 64° outside, it had stormed so that made it extremely humid and hot of course, so I do not understand how it would not be considered an emergency. I just think its ridiculous. Im definitely not renewing my lease and will not recommend anyone to move in to these apartments. If I could rate it less than one star I would.

Lived here for a year. Management is superb and responded quickly to maintenance problems and didnt tolerate rowdiness. They are very good about communicating info about construction work, community events, and any reported crimes or suspicious activity. Having free gas heat was great and my electric bills were ~$20 when I didnt need A/C. If you live on the ground floor, there is a small green space you have to maintain. They allow pets, but might charge you extra for cleaning when you move out.Neighborhoods on the other side of 91st street got a little rowdy sometimes (week of July 4th esp.), but whatever was happening over there stayed over there. I felt pretty safe. The Ashton Brook neighborhood itself is not the most sociable, but still pleasant. WiFi in the clubhouse can be spotty at times but the laundry room is generally well kept.Apartments are within walking distance of Target, Kroger, the Post Office, and the IndyGo bus stop is at the entrance so its easy to get your basics without a car. Monon trail is also a great attraction only a block away, and the Jordan YMCA is pretty close by too.Very sad I had to move out, I would definitely recommend. But if you are handicapped, be careful because a lot of the apartments are not handicapped accessible.

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience at Ashton brook, there is an unqualifiedand unprofessional stuff, the manager doesnt receive the residents, not communicative at all, as he is the president of the USA, and omg it is so noisy, the maintenance is just a disaster, I advice you to think twice before moving in, honestly and friendly

So noisy and they don’t let us to sleep they start their construction everyday at 7 in the morning

No laundry no water Bo security I stole my car last week this complex is the worst one in Indiana don’t come to live here guys
