The McDaniels team is outstanding. We had an issue with our ac and they were able to get out so quickly. The techs showed up and were extremely pleasant and personable. They took time to explain to me in terms that I would understand what was wrong. They were so fast and thorough. I’m so thankful for their hard work and dedication to keeping me from sweating in my own house! I will 100% be using them again and would refer them to anyone!

Had my AC go out on a Sunday, I called McDaniel and was not expecting a call back on a Sunday at all. Not only did I have a call within 3 minutes of reaching out, but they also came out to the house within the hour to take a look at the AC. So earlier this summer, right before the July 4th holiday, we had an air conditioner failure. We had one of their technicians come out who confirmed it was the compressor.We looked at the cost of replacing the compressor in the condenser unit we had versus replacing it with either a SEER 13 or SEER 16 unit, and the cost difference - plus the addition of having a warranty on a new system - made sense to replace it. The sales portion of the process was easy, and we also had sticker shock - what we ended up getting to replace our unit was half the cost of compatible systems from other contractors we contacted.It took a few days to get the equipment in and get their installers out - it was their busy season, after all - but once they were out, installation went quickly. We went with a 96% furnace to go with our 16 SEER air conditioner, and from start to finish - including clean up - it took about 5 hours to do. The installers were great and friendly.As for the equipment we got, its Carrier. Its quiet.This is the second time weve done business with McDaniel, and well do business with them again in the future.

Jeff in sales is great, been there for years, and really knows his products. Evan & Will did the install, with the help of a few other, who names, I didnt catch. They did a fantastic job, very I recently had new carpeting, and they covered the fancy carpet, without me even asking. It was a hard job, as the unit was in a very difficult space, high up in a attic. These guys did fantastic, fast, on time, and very polite. Id happily recommend to anyone, and welcome then into my home again.

Perfect explains the sales and installation service provided by McDaniel Furnace from start with Salesman Jeff to finish with Installers Evan and Will. That says it all as u can’t do better than perfect.

This company, led by Evan and Will, installed a new air conditioner, furnace and thermostat for my house. They were on time and very professional. In fact, they were there earlier than we expected. They showed attention to detail in every aspect. They were very respectful of my property and put down drop cloths to shield my carpet from the back door to the basement. They cleaned up their work area before they left. The company was able to offer me financing for 84 months without a pre-payment penalty via a partnership with my natural gas provider. The equipment I purchased qualified for rebates from both my electrical and natural gas suppliers. The sales representative Jeff Batson was also excellent at helping us adjust our vent settings and ceiling fans for maximum effectiveness. A splendid experience and I would strongly recommend this company.

Evan and will, installers showed promptly at 8am as promised Replaced outside air conditioning unit and the A coil in furnace along with a new thermostat...they are very professional and. cleaned up the work areas and left no mess for me to handle they were here 3.5 hours.

We decide to change the furnace and a/c. Jeff Batson came out and professionally gave a reasonable bid with different options. He helped us get rebates from Spire and Evergy. And with his help our insurance company covered part of our cost which beyond our expectation. Hes very responsive, professional and such a help! John Deschepper came out and connected the vent to our hood so it could be installed which was I thought an impossible feat. He was very persistent and unwilling to accept less than perfection. He had to work in a very hard space and was willing to keep trying until it was right, which took several tries and not once did he cut a corner or break anything. Very much appreciated his work.

Not using anyone else EVER !!!! We were in a pinch on a Sunday. Took care of us promptly and fairly. Also our kids used them too, took care RIGHT AWAY ! They CAN be TRUSTED...No Worries .

Unfortunately, they have been to my home 3 times to try and diagnose my air conditioner problem but on the third visit I was told there was nothing wrong with my a/c. And to call back when it was actually hot. What?! Today, I had a visit from a different company that drove outside of their service area to help me and there are MANY things wrong with my a/c. Even took pictures to show me the problems with my attic unit. I will never use McDaniel again and spent over $500 on replacement parts I didnt actually need. Additionally, I was treated like a stupid human and as though I was making up problems because I am just prissy. I hope that in the future, this company actually takes the time to diagnose the problem. A loss of a customer and all the previous referrals I had given.****UPDATE****spoke with the team at McDaniel and they refunded my money for the part I didnt need and took the time to listen to my concerns. I appreciate their quick action and resolution to the issue. Impressed by the professionalism displayed! Thank you!

Chris Collins came out today for a service call on a new house. He was very professional and courteous. He checked the fan speed settings, filter and adjusted the basement registers. He checked the charge on the unit and found it to be low. He added Freon and then cleaned the unit that was dusty from the construction in the neighborhood.Very helpful and thorough. In the hottest heat of this summer (100-degree days), my 20-year-old ac unit bit the dust. I got three quotes on a new ac and furnace. McDaniels was able to beat my second quote by several hundred dollars, even though Im located on the other side of KC.The two installers were wonderful! And very quick, only about 4 hours for the full replacement. They installed a new thermostat and showed me how to use it.All together from my first phone call, it took 1 day to get a quote and about a week to get the unit installed. Much faster than I expected in what I expect was their busiest time of the summer!My new ac unit works great and has kept the house cool all summer!Overall great service and product. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs service or a new unit.

Hands down the only company I trust when it comes to my furnace and AC. They’ve helped me several times and do a great job! Hubby called another company recently and we got a consultation. We made the choice to drop the other company and call these guys. Not only was the other company wrong about what the problem was they didn’t take near the time that this company did.

I had been using another company to diagnose air conditioning concern and they seemed to really start making me feel as i was being taken advantage of. i declined there quote and googled the Highest Rated air conditioning repair service in my area, Mcdaniels Heating and Cooling had alot more quanity of responses and was rated at the top. I called and a very nice guy named Jeff Wilp picked up the phone and i began to tell him my story and how my trust had been lost and the value of what i was offered was upsetting. He began by first thanking me for considering their company as an option for air conditioning repairs and then explained to me what reasons might be causing issue and that someone would need to come to my home to confirm before any type of repair prices can be quoted and i understood what he was saying and why guessing over the phone is accually a waste of my money. He then let me know that he could get someone out today as he knows and understands how it feels to have a house that is over 90 degrees inside and that my family was not comfortable due to what ever my system fault was causing. I would say within 2 hours there was a very nice guy that showed up in a clean van and before I could even get outside to welcome him he was already outside by the air conditioner with his work bag and had already started to diagnose the concern. I am sorry I dont recall his name but he had a beard and was a super nice guy, he started to explain to me in terms I understood what was happening and then we went inside and within 5 to 10 minutes had already diagnosed the issue, called into his shop which I think might have been Jeff and told me what the cost would be and I was blown away at how reasonable the price was. He was there for a little over 2 hours, repaired the concern, explained why it happened, cleaned up after himself and I had cold air blowing out of vents and was so overwhelmed to first finally be comfortable with the house cooling down as it makes life hard and isnt nice being overheated inside your house and second that it was fixed so quick, I wasnt so stressed as the price was well under what I expected and I really felt like both Jeff and the guy that came to fix it cared about how I felt and it was like I had made new friends. The reason I wanted to explain so much is that it seems that these days its so hard to get customer service quality and then really feel like they truly cared on top of the great customer service that I feel inclined to point out and commend them on the outstanding service that I received. So many negative things happening in this world and to get the response and action from McDanials Heating and Cooling and the feeling of concern and caring from Jeff and the great guy who came to repair the air conditioning I really want people to know that if ever you are In need, or if anyone asks for a recommendation for heating and cooling I will not hesitate to send them directly to Jeff Wilp as I know he will ensure they are treated right and will get what ever issue you have resolved and at a reasonable cost. Its not often that I fill out online reviews but when you have someone go above and beyond and make you feel like a friend and not just a customer then I feel that should be recognized and if ever you or anyone asks who to use I really would try them as I truly believe you will also have the same experience.

Your technician Chris and Manager Jeff Wilp deserve praise. The generic blower motor you replaced over the summer worked for AC but come winter time the furnace did not work. They took care of the problem at no charge to me when I believe other places may have tried to cover their tracks and not be honest. This was the 2nd time I have dealt wit Chris and I cannot say enough good things about him. I requested him after the first visit since I got to meet and talk to him...he had my trust. So much so that I had no problem letting him enter my home when I was not even there.

8/26/2015 my parents had a new system put in their home by Todd and another younger gentlemen. They were both extremely nice. Todd went above and beyond his duty while there and helped me get a large heavy item into my car. I dont think enough companies or individuals who work for them get their praise when its due. My furnace stopped working, on a cold December day. McDaniels worked me into their busy schedule. Matt was my service technician, he was amazing, he even made a trip to pick up the part needed to fix my furnace. He returned with the part and got my furnace working. Always great service. They install my original unit 20 years agoand then the replacement 5 years ago. Came home to a hot house. Called them and david was here in thirty minutes and fixed in twenty.

So its taken me awhile to do this review, but I wanted to make sure I did it. McDaniel Furnace installed the original HVAC system into my house when it was built. The previous owner used them, so when I purchased the home and had an issue with my heat, naturally I called them. They fixed the problem the same day with no issues.Later I was deployed with work and my AC unit went out. I had to have my Dad go to the house and call people to look at it and fix it. He called someone close by just to get a repair done quickly. After about a week, the AC went out again. This time I was home. I called McDaniel since they were familiar with my unit and thought Id try someone other than who my Dad called because despite having no preference, I wasnt a fan of how the other service did business. McDaniel came out that day and said that I needed a new AC unit.I have a 3 quote rule whenever someone is doing a big project on my house. I had McDaniel, the company my Dad called, and a third company come out and provide quotes for installation of a new HVAC unit (I have an all electric system). McDaniel was there within an hour and had a quote to me within a couple hours...and arrived in person to deliver it. The company my dad called didnt show up despite calling twice, and then later provided a quote via email without coming out because he had seen the unit prior. The third company came out close to the end of the day and wrote a quote on-site but explained nothing of my choices and only offered one option. Despite the 3 quotes, McDaniel still came out with the lowest price AND the best option.So...I chose McDaniel. Jeff was my salesperson who provided the quote and he was a nice guy who gave me thorough explanations of the process and what I was buying. After my experience with them, Ill only use them for any HVAC service. Im sorry it took so long to provide a review and I know it was a long read, but they are very deserving.Thanks AgainCody

Update- The guy at McDaniel either lied or was wrong about the date our furnace warranty ended. Talked to Carrier and the warranty starts from the date you purchase a new home. Not when the builder has it installed. Even then the date McDaniel gave me means that they say the warranty began before our house had even begun being built. Weird.Guy that answered phone was nice until I asked to purchase a gas valve for my Carrier furnace that was installed by them but only, according to him, 4 months out of warranty. I asked if they don’t sell the parts because they want the service, his response with a rude tone and said, well we are a business. I get that. I would also think that they would make money as a business selling parts at a mark up they bought at a wholesale price.

I had a great experience with these guys. The prices were fair and not only was the staff incredibly cordial and prompt, but good lord did they install my new A.C. unit fast. Thanks for the great service!

Kinda like killing a mosquito with a bazooka but well worth the money. Surprisingly it’s not that expensive or requires much maintenance. We moved into a renovated house two years ago with an HVAC system installed by McDaniel. We recently had another company out on a service call because the upstairs unit was not working - turned out to be a bad TXV valve. When I got the quote for the replacement (part was under warranty) it sounded way too high, so I called McDaniel. They were able to order the part, come out the next day to confirm diagnosis and make repairs. Saved us roughly $500. Office staff and technician were both knowledgeable and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had them come out and inspect our system 7 months ago - replaced the filter and everything else was good to go - now our AC wont work and they cant come out for a week! I gave them a chance to come and do the diagnosis and first shot at the business in case a replacement is needed, but since they cant get to it before then and since it seems to me they didnt do a very good inspection last time we are done with them

2 service trips and now no Heat, thanks for nothing McDanielService tech came out twice, 2 days in a row, and wasnt able to fix problem despite being told what it was and what a tech from 3 years ago said the problem was who had fixed it previously. Furnace now wont kick on and house is ice cold on 3rd day.Dont call McDaniel unless you want to a freezing house in the winter.
