UPDATE: After my original post below, the company did reach out to me, including the Director of Recruitment, and were very apologetic for my poor experience. They did finally acknowledge that that my file slipped through the cracks because of a transition period in staffing. Though they could not make up for a few months of lost salary and though it took quite a few efforts to try and reach a supervisor, they did very kindly reimburse my licensing costs of almost $2000. I am thus improving my rating for the company to 3 stars for now.ORIGINAL POST:If I could give this company zero or negative stars, I would. Have had an absolutely terrible experience since the day I agreed to accept a locums position with them in August of 2017. I was told that the licensing process in IL would take about 2 months. In October, about 2 months after submitting everything, I was told they were only waiting on a NJ license verification as well as a clarification from me on my application.I sent the clarification in within a couple of days. By the time we were 4 months in, I began orientations online, only to be told within a week that the hospital filled the position full-time, and that they could not reimburse my licensing costs. I never received my IL license or DEA after shelling out over $1800, and upon contacting them in March of 2018 about 7 months after I had applied, they told me that I still did not have a license, and that the board had been waiting on items that I submitted 5 months prior; at the same time they told me they had been following up on this weekly. If they had been, I dont think they would have waited 5 months to tell me that there was still pending documentation needed. I verified with D & Y that I did send in the documents asked for, and they then told me it was actually other documentation that the IL licensing board needed, which I had also already sent months prior. The company verified that they had sent them to the board as well, and then spent another month after I recontacted them in March before they were able to get my license processed, nearly 8 months after I started the application process. Needless to say, I was not going to be taking a job in IL at this time (as there was no longer a job available), and because I live in PA. I contacted the Better Business Bureau of Huntsville, to which the company provided no response. I have since then also talked with the Director of Licensing, who said they would work on reimbursing my money, but was then referred to the Director of Sales about 1 week ago, who I was told would contact me. It has now been 2 more weeks, and no more progress has been made. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all. I have never had such a poor customer service experience in my entire life as I have had with D & Y.
