There are just no words to say how much this organization means to me. My father was 82 and in a bad accident and took care of my mother who has Alzheimers. My parents had no long term care and I was spiraling to get them the best care on the little income they had. Still Serving Veterans and Terri Womack stepped in to help me expecting nothing in return. Their mission is simple... to help a Veteran. With Terris assistance, I was able to get my Dad VA Aid and Attendance to help with their care. Even through COVID we met via Zoom. She is just one of the may faces of this amazing organization. God bless them each one and all that they do. If you are a Veteran or a family member trying to take care of a Veteran in need and feel you are sinking and need a life line...I can promise you this Still Serving Veterans is there for you!

Several years ago I needed help with a disability claim. With their help I was able to go from 10% to 100%. They know what they are doing and how to get it done. They basically saved my life and I will be eternally grateful.

I have years of working with them. In general, the employees are conscientious and professional. Some employees exceed my expectations when assisting one obtain a job and providing emotional support. I highly recommend any veteran to seek their guidance! They have an exceptional staff.

I began working with Still Serving Veterans (Huntsville, AL) about a year ago. Finding them through a referral, I went to their office to get a head start on their career search counseling services. I have to say, they are VERY good at what theyre doing. With help from their office, I have an extremely well-polished resume and have seen them at every career fair in the area. Career fairs with them involved have always been a great experience, as they often have provided a glowing introduction to hiring personnel on the spot. The emails with local career updates have been great help as well. Not only have I gotten my resume out there, some of the emails have inadvertently gotten me noticed by staffing firms which have been a great resource for searching.I honestly dont think I would have as much confidence as I do now in my career transition search if it wasnt for this office having gone above and beyond to help me find my next career.

I encourage all service members who are getting out or veteran seeking employment to visit a Still Serving Veterans office. They are very resourceful; facilitating service member getting out and veterans with employment opportunities, mock interviews, and a professional resume free of charge. Make your appointment and take advantage of all they have to offer.

Definitely can help and friendly. Unfortunately, if you are only able to call on your lunch break and its middle of the day, the entire facility closes for lunch at 1130-1230.

Terri was great to work with but Maria was very sarcastic and I felt disrespected. She treated me differently from how she treated a white lady. I just hope this company can help my parents and not judge us based on our skin color.

The services provided by Still Serving Veterans are outstanding. They will help the veteran save time and improve the quality of response or communication with the VA or any other applicable agency that you would need SSV to help. There is no way that the Veteran would have the knowledge or understanding to complete or accomplish what you need to do, without the help of Still Serving Veterans! I would give them my highest rating and recommendation. Just contact them for help, they will serve you well! David A. Lawrence, Colonel, USAF (Ret)

This is a supplemental employment resource. You will get a job by going out and getting one yourself. SSV just increases your odds and your connectivity to employers. Tell them your needs and they will assist you. Jennifer Liddle was very helpful. Great service.

They provide a very good service although in some areas they are reluctant to be involved. That is not a bad thing, never go where you do not know what your are doing. Specifically I refer to PTSD. However in any other area hey excel.

The average veterans who comes in will be sent to home depot - to try and eek out a living for minimum wage unloading trucks ! who needs still serving veterans to tell them they can apply for that kind of slavery or work - whatever your view ! the low pay - and high turnover should be a warning ! a guess they may have more cushy jobs held in reserve to go to their inner circle or clique as I would describe it. you can go from cannon fodder on the battlefield to being meat for the home depot/ ssv complex- ! what a crock

They didnt really do anything you cant do on ebenefits yourself. The lady that uploaded my documents to ebenefits didnt upload everything, had me claim secondary injuries. She never filed a claim for the original injury. VA sent me a letter stating secondary to what? Im sure the have good programs, Ive heard their jobs program seems helpful, but for the claim part if you can fill out forms with directions and upload documents into ebenefits then you dont need them. They dont follow up with you after your appointment for anything like status, questions, or any help. They dont represent you as far as I know. Nice people.

Absolutely terrible place. No help literally sat there while someone stared at me didn’t answer any of my questions and didn’t help with info on how to fix my disability claim. Waste of time... the counselor was the one just looking at me and saying same thing over and over, your organization is garbage with your blanket comments and your terrible service. This is the reason veteran suicides are so high it’s because people like you not understanding anything. On top of that the counselor had no idea how to read the paperwork I had to show him myself..
