Review №1

This review is pertaining to Bob Woods, Leon Moore (PM at The State Department in SA-17, Washington, D.C.) and that job location specifically.I have to preface this by saying I only took this job as I was in need of employment and money, and this was something I took to hold me over until I found something better.Bob Woods: Yes, Bob is a nice guy. He is definitely homophobic, sexist, and overall just creepy. We had an all-hands meeting and he went around to compliment every female on how beautiful they were, and purposefully squeezed a chair in-between two so he could sit between two pretty ladies. He ended that conversation with not liking California because they are full of fruits (gays) and nuts (he said this towards Democrats). He is also the HR for this company, so its never fun to bring up your work issues with someone so high up.Leon Moore: Leon is someone that kissed butt throughout his military career to earn his rank and positions, then gets in them and is in way over his head. He definitely doesnt know how to be a Program Manager, and didnt learn quick enough. Sure, sometimes the government gives him slow or wrong information, but Leon does not make it better by withholding information, or straight up lying about it.Leon says its illegal to talk to coworkers about salary...lie. He cant tell them what I make, but I can surely ask. He would scold us on not to talk to each other about that stuff, obviously because I found out I was being paid $3,000 less than others in the same pay grade as me and do less work. I asked for equal pay, I was denied.Leon tells people not to talk to the government workers about issues we have, obviously, to hide his problems and make them think that this contracting company is perfect. The government sees through his lies and through his stories, they all know he is garbage. Especially when a senior person calls him an idiot for his actions.Leon thinks ice cream at a meeting or a $5 Starbucks card for mothers day will keep people happy. He is delusional. Give your employees a fair wage. Give your employees more than 80 hours a year (10 business days) of PTO. Dont charge PTO for a legitimate sick day. Treat your employees with respect and stop lying to them.A new position opened up in an office that I used to work in. I did an informal interview with the Director (she was my old boss and I knew her on a level that I could openly go speak with her). She did not say no, but that she would think about hiring me. Leon Moore did not give her the option to consider me. I was black balled for any promotion or pay raises because I caught Leon in lies, and called him out on his lies.If you communicate with Leon in person, record it on your phone. Otherwise do it all through e-mail. Have records as Leon will say what he must to cover himself and his lies.Leon told me to do what I have to do in life. So I got a better job.Leon ended by saying we are here for the contract. My job is to keep the contract. No one is messing with my job.Good leaders lead from the front, and will do any job they ask of their employees. I saw a GS-14 Government Director escort around the cleaning crew, because she was a good leader. Leon would take away employees lunch times because he refused to walk around a trash crew.Seriously think twice about working here, unless you are in dire need of a job and need the money. If you do work here, use your time there to apply for any and every new job.The work itself is basic administrative or analyst positions for the State Department. Very few complaints about the work itself, or any other government workers/directors.
