I have been living at The Reserve for almost 3 yrs and I have to commend Ms. Erika in the leasing office! No matter the issue whether it was maintenance or a general question she has always been quick to respond and very compassionate. We need more people in leasing offices who have an open ear to tenants concerns. Her door has always been open and not just to me but to many of the tenants I have spoke with on the property! Thank you for great customer service.

I’ve been here for a few months and have loved it! Angie, Vicki, & Melissa made the process of moving in so easy and they also all answered any questions I had. They are all super sweet! Lots of shopping to do close by and the grocery store is just hop & a skip away.. I also love all of the extra things that come with living here, such as the many pools, nice exercise areas, and they even have an area to groom my fur baby! The apartments are very spacey and they also have granite table tops which is a nice touch. I can’t wait to spend many more months at The Reserve.❤️

Any maintenance request I submitted was answered and fixed within 24 hours.. usually its Patrick who is always friendly and professional. The leasing ladies are the best! Erika and Vicky are my favorites and they always have snacks 😆. Thanks for making my move in easy ladies and gentleman.

I came in on a Saturday morning in hopes to find availability. The moment that I walked through the door it was nothing less that excellent customer service. First off, the presence of the front office is gorgeous and the staff makes everything better. I spoke with Angie Robinson who has the sweetest personality and made me feel confident in what I was looking for and gave me options. She was very thorough and explained everything perfectly, from the pricing, square footage and amenities. The process was easy and everything went smoothly. I would recommend to others with no problem.

I have no idea why people are leaving so many negative reviews about this place, I honestly think this place is absolutely amazing. I was supposed to move into another apartment that was currently in the process of being built, and when they called me a week before I was supposed to move in and told me it wouldn’t be ready for another month and I had already signed a leaving 60 day notice with my other apartment, Vicky did everything she could to make sure that she would be able to get me an apartment as fast as possible, and was able to get me an apartment in just a week. The apartment I have is absolutely amazing, it’s 720 ft.², for a one bedroom one bath, the amenities are absolutely amazing, I have a pool right outside my balcony, the balcony is humongous, and the staff is so freaking amazing, I do not understand why people are leaving such a negative reviews, and all I can say is that people that usually have good experiences do not leave reviews. If you were planning on getting an apartment, I would absolutely recommend this apartment, as all of the neighbors I have met so far I was so sweet and kind, they even help me move in since I did not want to hire movers and pay extra being a single woman in an apartment, and Vicky did everything she could to make sure I had the smoothest move in possible.

I was skeptical at first after reading some of the reviews, but looking closer the reviews weren’t really recent, so I thought let’s dive in and check it out, you got two months to find a place to go, so figure it out, right?! So roughly 2 weeks ago I went into the office and met with Angie (Robinson) and Sissy (I can’t remember her last name but think it was Taylor, maybe?) Both were friendly, knowledgeable explained their policies on what was required to rent and answered all questions I had.Seeing the gym facilities, the facilities that could be used for get togethers & then the model apartment I was impressed. Granite countertops, stainless steal appliances, LVP flooring…all nice items and definitely not ran down apartments like described in older reviews, it looks like newer not older ones. After I left I had to call the office and ask Angie a few more questions and she didn’t hesitate to answer them and didn’t pressure me at any time. (I literally walked out of another place because it felt like they were pushing me into something I wasn’t sure of..) I have to do something soon and The Reserve is most likely where I will be calling home.

My son has just accepted a 6 figure position in the area, and he applied to The Reserve as a convenient location. You misread his background information and denied him saying his values were not aligned with those of the company. His background information is good enough for his high security position, but not for your apartment complex? Surely you see the absurdity of your comment! Now I see why your reviews are 2.7 out of 5.Updated: you have just responded to my review...over a month later. So your response reiterates why you are a subpar outfit. You made the mistake and you say we should contact agencies to dispute his record. Theres nothing to correct. No worries. Hes staying in a much nicer place without any issues, unlike many of your tenants who have previously posted their displeasure living in your apartments.

It looked like it took little to no effort to break into my door while I was away. I went to the leasing office when I found out and they couldnt even get ahold of the security officer thats supposed to be on site! This is not a safe place to live. They claimed my door is fix but it just looks like a cheap repair job. Not to mention when it rained my floors were getting flooded! This place has MOLD in the HVAC, large cockroaches, drafty single pane glass windows and cheap moldy cabinets. I have reported these things to managements and for months they have not been taken care of. They did not write my initial complaint into the maintenance system so it looks like I never contacted them. I submitted a work order and they just closed it for no reason.Update 3 weeks later:The apartment nearly caught fire. I am so lucky I was home. I had just turned on the hvac and set it to cool for about 20 minutes. All of a sudden I hear a pop. What was that? Next thing I know there is SMOKE coming out through the vents of the hvac. Within a minute the whole apartment was full of smoke. I ran over and turned the ac off. The motor had shorted out and the breaker did not trip!!! Had I not been here the ENTIRE BUILDING WOULD HAVE BURNED TO THE GROUND!!!! Its kinda hard to see but the last photo of the hvac motor shows charred wires.

People typically like to leave reviews when theyve had a negative experience but I wanted to mention the positive experience Ive had while living here. To start, I LOVE my apartment floor plan. Ive never seen one like it at any apartment complex. I have the 1,070 square ft one bedroom and the space is amazing. I have a double vanity, a half bath for guests, a big laundry room, and the bedroom and living room are huge. Not to mention that the walk-in closet is the size of a whole bedroom! I originally chose to live here specifically because of this exact floor plan and because of the price. The price is seriously unbeatable for the location. Im less than 10 minutes away from my job in Research Park, from MidCIty, and from Bridgestreet. I also want to praise the wonderful staff who have been so great to deal with; Erika was the leasing agent who worked with me throughout the whole process of moving in and she has been so helpful from the start. Shes been a joy to work with and she always says hi to me when she sees me and asks how Im liking my apartment and how Im doing. Sissy takes care of any possible problem you could ever have without hesitation. Shes such a friendly face and you can tell how much she cares about the residents. Lastly, the property manager Cybonea has exceeded my expectations. The management company recently switched to SPM Management and Cybonea came in as the new property manager. Shes so professional and when I had questions regarding a small issue I had, she contacted me immediately and was so thorough and detailed to make sure that everything had gotten resolved. In the short time that SPM has been here as the management company, the amount of improvements theyve made is unbelievable. I see landscapers and groundskeepers almost daily making the property and the grounds beautiful which is a lot of work for such a big place. There was damage to a trash compactor that never got fixed with the old company, and SPM as already repaired it within their first 2 weeks of being here. Theyve also begun adding a new, fresh paint color to the buildings that looks so nice and contemporary. I enjoy living here and I love that I get to see these improvements taking place.

Reading the negative reviews on this property just makes me laugh honestly. The location of these apartments is perfect. The amount of space you get is HUGE and the upgrades they have done in each unit are AMAZING. When there are any maintenance issues, their staff is so quick to come and fix it and if there are any other issues, the office people will go out of their way to help. Erika, the lady that has helped me choose an apartment BOTH times since I have lived here, is SO GREAT. Her professionalism and skill she has taking care of business is UNMATCHED by any agent I have ever worked with. Like, she really makes you feel like she cares, any little issue I have she tackles with a quickness. She makes you feel like she is family and looking out for you. So, to the people who are writing bad reviews...sorry. LOL.

Just wanted to say a few words about living at the Reserve at Research Park. Ive been here almost 8 months, and am getting ready to renew because Im so comfortable here. Ive got a 2 bedroom apartment now and downsized from a 5 bedroom house - HUGE. I thought the transition would be difficult but in reality it has been a blessing. I no longer have to mow lawns, fix plumping, repair appliances or worry about being able to afford repair men. The team here is always on top of everything that Ive asked for and with a quickness! My leasing agent Andre was so helpful when I was trying to work through the leasing process. He answered all my questions, made sure that everything in the apartment was done to my satisfaction and has kept in contact with me to make sure Im happy - hes my favorite! Carol, Sissy, Doug & Lee have been so genuinely kind and nice - they are almost like family. The community events are fun and frequent, but my favorite thing is that there is a pool at my unit that is less than a 1 minute walk from my front door! It is surrounded by lush crepe myrtle trees and beautiful landscaping - it is almost an oasis where I can read a book and take a dip when it gets too warm. And the best of all is that I didnt have to give up my best friend - Mr. Spooky, my fur baby. He is a larger dog but there are no weight restrictions here. There is even a beautiful Great Dane that Spooky has made friends with. So, if you are looking for a home this would be the place for you! Tamara

I have been living at the Reserve for a little over a year, and overall its been great. The leasing office (primarily Sissy and Andre) and maintenance have been very responsive to all complaints and concerns. However, I have been to leasing office a number of times about one particular concern: one of my neighbors smokes in his/her apartment. Although the lease dictates that smoking is not allowed inside the apartments, complaints about this will amount to nothing. They say there is nothing they can do about it even though it is breaking the leasing agreement.Every morning, I go into the bathroom, and the first thing that hits me is the smell of smoke. While I do not mind people who smoke, and have good friends who smoke, I do not smoke, and I do not want to live in a place that smells like smoke. I personally feel that because this is not something that can be captured on a device, like a sound or sight could, they dont care to do anything about it except offer to move me and put me through the pain of switching buildings. I do not feel this would take care of the problem because that new neighbor could also smoke, and they are not legally allowed to tell me if they do. I feel my concern about my health is not being addressed, and I am actively looking elsewhere.

Ive lived in these apartments for the past 15 months (recently renewed my lease) and I have been very happy. I live in a two-bedroom apartment, and although the features are not always on-par with other apartment complexes (my appliances are extremely old and half of my closet doors have fallen off), this really is the best bang for your buck. The Reserve at Research Park is very affordable and offers great amenities. The office staff is kind and will get to know you (shoutout to Andres), and its evident that although the apartment has its shortcomings in some areas, they are making a strong effort to improve the quality of living. For example, they recently renovated the pool into a resort-quality experience, they re-paved all of the roads and parking lots, and they repainted many of the buildings to give it a better look.In addition to these changes, Ive also never had a problem with maintenance. Every issue that Ive reported (some minor like light issues, but some major like my toilet flooding my apartment) has been fixed within 24 hours. The only drawback is I wish the property would be more selective with their tenants. Most of my neighbors are very nice, and any incidents can easily be reported to the courtesy officers that live on-site; however, Ive still had some issues with other residents and Im unsure on how to resolve that. Sometimes its simply loud blaring music at 3AM but other times it is loud disruption/endangerment around multiple buildings.Overall, I definitely appreciate all the hard work that the managers and staff have put into making the place nice for the residents, and I hope to see the improvements continue as time goes on. I dont mind increasing prices in rent because I believe the upgrades are worth the cost, and I rated this 4 stars because I appreciate the work theyve done and still see room for more improvement.

Ive enjoyed staying at the apartment Im in. Ive been here for over a 2 years total. I was in a 2 bedroom apartment a while back and now Im in a studio apartment. Office staff is very polite and respectful. Ive seen improvement the whole time I have been here. There has been times that I would look elsewhere for an apartment out of curiosity but this feels like home. The only complaint I have is that the smoke detector is installed too close to the kitchen but that is not a huge problem or else I would have given 4 stars obviously. I do wish rent was down a little but that wish is going to be wished anywhere you go. Overall, I love the Reserve. At one point, my hot water heater went out and when I told the office staff, they were right on it and fixed it. They have shown me what a great and successful team looks like when it comes to apartment complexes. If a manager or whoever ever reads this, please be sure to give all your workers raises! They have earned it!

My experience was pretty cool! My first year there my roommates and I had no problems what so ever, very peaceful, had nothing to worry about! My second year there, I moved in a 1bdrm & 1 month later I had my apartment broken into. I asked to move to another unit or in a unit with an officer, but it would “mess up my lease” or that wouldn’t help if there was any future breaking, so I had to get an alarm system and camera to put in my Unit while I traveled on weekends. One person who I TRULY ADORE in that office is Ms. Sissy! She cares about her residents, knows most, if not all of them, and definitely knows me! I will cherish her for ever. She is the person that really made my experience worth while. If I had a problem, she got it fixed ASAP! It’s a nice neighborhood, just beware of things like this around the holidays!

UPDATE: It is to my understanding that the complex is now under new management. They appear to be more qualified to manage an apartment complex than the previous company, and the company before that. Take that with a grain of salt though. I am still counting down the days for the lease to end.I have lived here 11 of the 12 months of my lease. I cannot express how difficult it is for me to think of a positive remark about this complex and the company that manages it. While much has happened during our time here, the most notable thing is the fact that no one in management cares about you as a resident, or person, at all. The most recent example being that my apartment was robbed (due to a problem never being repaired even after explicitly being shown to a physical member of the staff) and management silently cancelling our renters insurance policy without us knowing. Not that it matters because prior to moving in they placed us in the wrong apartment and never updated our address in our insurance documentation. No matter how many times we reminded them, nothing changed. This lead to the policy being invalid (even though we have paid every month). The insurance company themselves have our correct address, but it’s because we had it changed ourselves. It didn’t match with the managements paperwork because of their incompetency, and as a result thousands of dollars of property is gone without reimbursement. This is just the most recent incident. Others include management losing paperwork, horrible apartment conditions, next to no security or enforcement, fluctuating rent payments, and an unforgivable amount of unfulfilled promises by management to name a few. It’s obvious why they try to bribe their residents for a good review because how else would they get one with how the complex is ran? Stay very far away and don’t even bother looking at these apartments. If for some reason you want to endure any of these things for as much as you have to pay, take pictures of everything and keep a lawyer on hand. Just driving on the streets next to this place makes me sick, and I don’t want anyone else to have to go through the same thing.

My husband and I applied for a one bedroom apartment here. The leasing agent who helped us was extremely pushy, reminding us that three other people had asked him about the unit he was showing. They have an application that is impossible to navigate and we were rudely told to wait when we approached them with questions about said application. Maybe they were aggravated with us, I do not know. But the next day they called and told us our application had been rejected. My husband has impeccable credit, and the income sufficient for the apartment. I strongly doubt that this establishment even completed our credit check, but merely hustled us out of the 100.00 application fee. Today we applied for a larger, nicer apartment in South Huntsville. The rent was a bit higher, but we were quickly accepted, as is usually the case when credit is very good. Do not bother with this place.

I would say that you get what you pay for, but rent keeps increasing and the place hasnt improved along with it. A coat of paint will only go so far. The staff was hit or miss. Some people were awesome and some people were awful. Here are some pros and cons. The good: The rent is still cheaper than most places in town. The location is great. We walked to Target all of the time and it is ridiculously close to Research Park. It was quiet for the most part. The sauna was pretty great when you could catch a time when people werent having intercourse in it.The bad: We didnt have air conditioning for an entire summer. We had to blast the fans and our electric bill was outrageous. I think we called a total of 7-8 times and then just gave up. The maintenance mans excuse was Yeah... this unit is too small for the apartment and broke. Im not sure what to do about it. How about replace it with a unit that is appropriately sized? We ended up fixing most things ourselves and not bothering with maintenance because they either took so long or didnt fix the issue. Our lease got lost twice and they tried to charge us more. Luckily, we had taken pictures of what theyd given us in writing and were able to get the cheaper rate again. Also, cockroaches. If you like them, this is the place for you. We had three apartments here and we found them in all three.

HORRIBLE complex with even worse management and useless maintenance workers. This complex raises rent and changes policies that you MUST comply to. When I moved in, I paid a pet deposit, only to be told over twelve months later that I now must pay “pet rent”. Normally, it’s one or the other. The road, Rime Village was one giant pot hole for several months, and for some odd reason they paved the parking lots first, which were in decent shape. Now that the road is FINALLY repacked, it STILL floods, horribly. Management is horrible at communicating with their residents, unless it’s to collect money. They also are terrible at notifying their residents about moving cars for landscaping. When they tore down ALL of the trees in my complex, we were notified less than 12 hours beforehand that our vehicles would need to be moved. When they tore down ALL of the trees in the community, they took away our shade, making our apartment extremely hot in the summer ... and their janky AC unit is no help. They said the trees would be replaced with younger, newer trees / bushes etc. that was over three months ago and still nothing new provided.

When me and my room mate first moved in to this place it seemed nice! Spacious rooms, lots of parking, and very convenient location. But we are now 8 months in to the lease and it feels like we are in a nightmare! A couple of months ago all of the appliances slowly stopped working. First my toilet stopped working, having to use a pot to fill the back of it up just to flush it every time. Then the washer and dryer stopped working, the washer is off balance and so loud Im sure the neighbors can hear it. The dryer takes 5 cycles for your clothes to be remotely dry. The dishwasher leaks water on to the kitchen floor and in to the cabinet under the sink. The fridge leaks water on the inside of the fridge, getting water all over my food. And has maintenance fixed anything? NO. They supposedly fixed my toilet 2 months ago and 3 days later it was broken again. Every time I have called them they say they will come fix everything, but nothing. For months. And now this past Saturday I woke up to a flooded apartment, the water heater spewing water everywhere. I called and called the front office and emergency maintenance for 2 hours and kept driving up to the office to get somebody out there to help, and NOTHING. When they finally decided they wanted to fix the problem the water was wall to wall and had been pouring out water for 8 hours. They extorted the water and placed 19 industrial fans all throughout the apartment, so now its like a tornado in the apartment, its over 90 degrees in there, and it reeks of mold. Yet when I went up to the office yesterday to demand repairs and tell them the apartment is not livable, they told me I was wrong and kicked me out of the office. No compassion, no respect. I am now staying at my boyfriends place seeking further action.I recommend this place to no one! They clearly do not care, and if you need anything done they will take their leisurely time to do so. Find a nicer place for just a little more money and it will save you some pain.

I have lived here for short of 5 months. When I first moved in the apartment that I was slated to move into was full of mold (the property manager, Kathy, later tried to tell me it was a PEICE OF SPONGE, that part I added for comedy because she really thought I’d believe that). So they moved me into a slightly larger apartment, originally they were going to make me pay the larger apartments rent, but I told them if they let me pay the smaller apartment rent I’d give them a five star review. They agreed because that’s how desperate they are to get their image up. While here I am 5 months later and not one single thing at this complex deserves a 5 star review except the hard working maintenance staff. My following troubles are in no way a reflection of them but yet a reflection of management who has them violently understaffed and refuses to subcontract out when they need help. Here are my experiences:1. A/C out for 2 weeks2. Toilet out for 1 week3. Screens in windows out since move in, asked to be fixed then, never happened.4. Fridge door was installed backwards, asked to be fixed at move in, never happened.5. My leasing consultant has been rude, unprofessional and has 0 work ethic.6. Debris from a storm laid around for 3 weeks7. Water heater exploded flooded apartment below8. Had my water turned off for a day9. And with all this going on within the complex they still managed to notice I had a dog and fine me within 4 days of getting her. FOUR DAYS.Y’all this happened in FIVE months. Run far far away from this place and don’t look back.

I cant get a response from the Resident Services Manager. Maintenance (from what Ive experienced) has been great and courteous (Ive encountered two gentlemen here), however, anytime I need or request a simple copy of a contract from a lease has been a hassle. Ive been a resident for almost two years now and its the same experience. Should they need more assistance- they should be granted such because its an ongoing battle. If you like or thrive in little to no communication then this is the place for you. Also.... Very outdated: 90s appliances, flooring sucken in on second levels, gutters and fencing down, and cockroach problems that they have to spray for. Once one unit is sprayed it seems that they all travel to the next. Just thought Id share my honest living experience thus far.

If there was zero stars Id rate it that. This place is falsely advertised! The gym is a joke, cable machine is broken, the volley ball court has been removed, the pictures of the apartments are the new ones. Maintenance is extremely slow and lazy. The Dishwasher leaks water each time, the bathroom is not caulked leaving open gaps between the floor and the walls. The A/C units are old and are really expensive to use. My bathtub faucet just fell off! The handle to the brand new fridge snapped off! Weve been here 4 months and it just snaps?! I had my other fridge for two years and NEVER had any problems like this. Im pretty sure they moved us into an unfinished apartment, the first one they showed us. Management is unbelievable and has such attitude! SO RUDE! DONT MOVE IN HERE!! Its tempting with the great location but until they actually clean up and not pretend, they are not worth it at all!!!!! Oh and they over charge you and forget to apply your move in special!!!

I had my baby shower at the small club house September 3rd. My mother went to check the place out and the property manager told my mom a few days before when she opened it for her that the a/c is turned off when they dont have a party going on but the day of my baby shower the a/c was broken. Maintenance stopped by and said it had been broken for weeks. Maintenance said we didnt even know there was an event going on or we would have put fans in here for yall. It was like 90 degrees outside so it was even hotter inside. Anyways, the property manager lied to my moms face. It was so hot my $100+ cake was melting, everyone was sweating and miserable - and we had to bring in like 6 fans from home to keep it bearable. If we hadnt brought fans theres no way people couldve stayed inside. Plus, I guess the workers decide to park their cars in the 13 car parking lot. When we got there, there was only 4 parking spaces available for my event. So I had elderly people and everyone else walking from across the street etc. which was BS. And they wouldnt refund any of my money. Just thought maybe cause I didnt live there thats why they were careless. I went into labor the next day because my blood pressure was through the roof and I was in distress - I wouldnt be surprised if it was because I was so hot and stressed out from wasting my money and time. Plus, we left the place cleaner than it was when we got there. There were spider webs full of bugs in the corner, and the fridge had old condiments and food inside (I guess more s***) from workers. I paid $200 deposit and $250 to rent the place. Never. Again. 0 stars.

Do not rent from here. They lie about what your monthly rent will be. I was told that I had a discount with my employer, that I would get 50% off of my admin fee and application fee. I then saw the charge in my 2nd months rent. They lose paper work and money orders. They are processed months after your lease is signed. The maintenance team is great. Also believe there was a possible mold problem and didnt feel comfortable in the unit anymore. Also staff messed up paperwork so last 2 months I rented here I received eviction notices due to paperwork mistakes on their end. Also they have a bad habit to write notes on sticky notes then lose said sticky notes.Ways to fix:Dont have entire emergency call system depend on faulty equipment.  (Hopefully this has been fixed since Ive moved out)Double check paperwork before sending out eviction notices.  After experiencing flooding and hassle its stressful to receive those when youve paid your rent. Finally get a better note system.  Something that cant be accidentally thrown away.

DO NOT TRUST IT! when they fire Sissy Taylor and Kathy Wilson, these reviews will go up. This is the worst management group I have ever experienced. I regret moving here, let me explain.. I have lived here for just 6 months and in that time my neighbors house was broken into and someones car was stolen. After my lease expired I packed up and moved out. I didnt not put in a 30 day notice to vacate and Sissy Taylor still charged me for next months rent, locked me out of my apartment and said I forfeited the apartment. Fine. I called higher management to get some help and try to negotiate, given the lack of quality of the place anyways. Sissy Taylor sought revenge, then told me I was not allowed on the property and had an off duty officer Michael Powell tell me I couldnt be back. Mind you, Powell is not a good security officer... Whats up with the thefts though? He didnt even let the building know it had been broken into.. he said they dont have to tell us As he was at my apartment with Sissy, his hand on his gun while talking to me. I believe this was a request from Sissy Taylor, I assume, but told me it was a habit. I called internal affairs for that. Management is money hungry and I would not recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY, they have theives and monkeys guarding the place.

Ive only lived here a couple of months and Im already having a horrible experience. These apartments are overpriced for what youre getting. The layout is terrible, the walls are ridiculously thin, and management is completely useless. There is a shuttle bus that is so large it is covering up the sidewalk, even getting into the grass, to where the sidewalk is unusable. Management has SAID that they will address the issue, HOWEVER, I have called 7 times now and nothing has been done. Then, our neighbors above us have NINE vehicles that take up all of the parking spaces in front of our building and management has done nothing!! This is such a frustrating situation for me and my roommates. Management is more concerned about having monthly movie nights than they are keeping their tenants happy. DONT LIVE HERE.

Worst place I have ever lived! I was here for a year and just moved out this week, thank god. When we first moved in the people above us had pipes bust and flooded our apartment. They came in and put huge fans everywhere and told us we cant turn them off for a week even when we sleep. They then told us they would help with the electric bill that month. When we got the bill I brought it to the office because it was outrageous from having to run those huge fans for a week. They then told me id have to bring my bills from the past 3 month so they can pay the difference. At this point I only lived there for 2 months and the lady told me there is nothing she can do then. And thats just the start of it! Our A.C broke over summer and I called them every day for 2 weeks till they FINALLY came and fixed it. Then my boyfriend had a car accident and we had the car parked outside our apartment till we could tow it to get fixed. The managers ended up getting it towed with NO WARNING at all and when I went to the office and stated that it was illegal for them to tow it with no warning she lied and told us she had nothing to do with it and the Huntsville police department did. I called the police department and they told me the managers would of had to have it towed not them. She lied and broke the law having our car towed without giving us any warning or even asking us about it.AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE BUG PROBLEM!!! Our door was broken and I called them so many times to fix it and of course they never did so I gave up and bugs so many got in our house. I called all the time asking them to at least come and spray for bugs and of course they NEVER did. This place is over priced and God awful. The apartments are nice but dont let that fool you! They even tried to paint over the outside and did an awful job! They got paint on my furniture outside and all over the doors!I would not recommend living here at all. This place should be shut down.

Management was a bear to work with and is not willing to work with its clientele. I’ve advised everyone that is new to the area and looking for a temporary home to avoid this place. Hope all else do. The reviews are low for a reason.Details:The creaking of the upstairs apartment was unbearable. And yes I’ve lived in apartments with people above me.The real issue was when I asked to switch apartments. This conversation happened over the phone and in person several times. Once 4 months passed by I realized they were never going to switch my apartment and we’re just waiting until my lease was going to be up. The noise was so bad I actually moved to a different place while my lease was still active.Be careful with this place they will make it very difficult to break your lease and be wary of their contracts. We didn’t get bit, but I’ve heard from many other people who have. The place recently got a face lift but don’t be fooled. These are old apartments with management who will simply not work with tenants.

I lived in the Reserve Apartments for little under a year and it had been a series of situations that could have been easily avoided if the complex (and their maintenance team) had simply done their jobs. And if I had believed the reviews of the complex. I have always been raised to try to believe the best about a business or person so when I saw reviews about the lack of urgency and concern for the residents of the complex, I didn’t believe them. Lesson learned. From the months of October through March, I put in six different requests for them to repair the heating/ac unit that froze up at the beginning of October. Where I came in and was greeted by a dehumidifier, a fan, and a window ac unit in my apartment. It seemed that my ac froze up and flooded the downstairs unit and yes, they came in and did their job. But they failed to complete the job. I had the ac unit in my apartment for the entire month of October. My power bill was through the roof and I was told that they would take something off of my rent to cover the difference. Okay. Cool. Awesome, I could do that. It was the joke and here comes the punch line. They had to have three months worth of energy bills to see the difference in the bill. Okay, I could do that. But then came the kicker. It had to be three months worth of power bills prior to the event in question. I moved into the apartment in September. There was no three months worth of bills for me to give them. Which means there would be no reimbursement for their mistake and failure to finish the job.Throughout that time frame I had to deal with sarcastic repair men who claimed that it was fixed but didn’t bother to check the unit. Instead, he left a note that simply read to raise the temperature in the apartment turn up the thermostat and vice verse for lowering the temperature. I didn’t get my heat fixed until January when I finally called the emergency maintenance line because the temperatures outside where in the negative numbers and my heat wouldn’t get any higher than 55° inside of the building. My air conditioning wasn’t fixed until mid-March but I put in that work order in February only to be told they will get to it when they can (there was over 30 units in the complex whose air was out at the same time.) When a maintenance man finally came to repair the ac unit he started to work on it and then said he had to get some parts and finish another job. He would be back the next day. He didn’t come. I found out later after resubmitting the work order that he quit (or was fired I’m not sure which) the same day that he was in working on my air. Two weeks later, I finally get a phone call from the complex following up on the fired mans work. Except it was because they finally decided to call in a proper heating and air company to repair the units. The buildings themselves is another deception. They appear to be well kept up but if you look closer, the buildings are in ill repair and have paper thin walls and floors. I can hear my neighbors on all sides and I fear that they heard my every move as I walk around my place. The windows and doors have limited insulation if any at all. This past winter was bitterly cold and there was a draft from the windows, the doors, and the fireplace.So. The long and the short of the review. Beware. It takes more work for you to get anything handled by the maintenance than it might truly be worth. Expect an average turn around time of about two weeks for the maintenance to get back to you. And don’t believe them when they say they will get back to you when dealing with money.However. I will say that the office staff has always been polite and kind. They were very sympathetic to the plight of the renters but there was very little they could do, but they did what they could.

Im a current resident and have lived in these apartments for roughly 3 years. I originally selected these apartments for the location and price (at the time it was a great deal). As time has rolled on the price of rent has increased each time despite paying rent on time every single month and the neighborhood has steadily declined.Luckily I havent had many maintenance requests as Im not entirely sure the current maintenance staff in place is equipped or willing to handle even the simplest requests since they cant even seem to throw their cigarette butts in the trash cans. . The particular building I live in has birds living in one of the street facing apartment chimneys and Ive yet to see any of the maintenance staff address that issue. The lights are full of dead bugs, the ceilings are covered in webs, the balconies have wasp issues, etc. The maintenance staff here is very reactive instead of proactive. Judging by some of the previous reviews youll be lucky to receive a reactive response out of the maintenance team. The building Im in has roaches inside and wasps outside. Im a pretty clean person and dont have much furniture as Im just starting out however I still see roaches. Ive contacted both the apartment office and B and M directly with no response from either. Ive decided to spray my apartment down on my own. Ive been informed that a new door side garbage pick up service is offered and will be automatically added on to a new lease ($15/month) if I decide to stay another year however I feel that $15 could be spent on pest control instead.. since setting bags of trash out by the door seems to only invite more roaches in.In conclusion, dont let the location or the nice new brick apartments on the brochure fool you. Take a look at 2 or 3 of the google reviews, that should be all it takes. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

So, Ive been here for going on 3 years now. The apartment has had its ups and downs, but for the most part, its been a decent place to live, so long as you lock your car doors (the cops call this Crime Village Dr, no joke). However, tonight broke my faith in this place. I lost my keys and had to get a ride home. My wife wouldnt be home for 2 hours or so, so I thought Id see if there were any stragglers at the office and try to get a spare key. There was, and I happened to catch them walking out the door. I politely said hey and asked if they could provide a spare key for a resident. The guy saw me and very quickly shut and locked the door. The lady looked concerned and went and had the guy (I assume a manager of some kind) open the door. When the lady presented my question to the manager, barely pokes his nose out of the door and says Get a locksmith. I said, can you not provide a key to a resident who locked themselves out? He responded with, We dont do lockout services. I didnt cause a scene and said have a great night and walked away.I understand that the office is closed. I understand you want to go home. I feel the same way when a customer stays at our store over hours. For Petes sake, though, if one of your residents is locked out, ask for proof of ID, which I couldve provided, and get them a spare key, tell them to return it in the morning. Ive had lackluster customer service from you guys, and Ive had great service from you guys, but Ive never been downright ignored, and rudely at that.I was planning to leave a 3 or 4 star review when my renewal came up and mention the sometimes good and sometimes bad service from the office, the nice apartments, and the crime, and the patches instead of fixes that maintenance does. This was the last straw for me, though. I appreciate all that Sissy did for me (youre wonderful at your job, Sissy), but I think Im done here.

While they were resealing the car lots, our vehicles were towed due to a lack of communication to us. This caused us an unnecessary bill of almost 500$. Our vehicle is registered with the complex so it would have been easy to call, or even knock on the apartment door and we wouldve quickly removed the vehicles. Instead due to employee negligence, the cars were towed. I even asked if they could do anything about the bill because it was so expensive, and they wouldnt do anything about it, not even part of it as a credit on our bill. I will be taking my business elsewhere when my lease expires.Ive had many friends tell me that theyve only heard bad things about this complex but, I decided to go with it anyway, shouldve listened to my friends.Edit- If anyone is curious i actually did go and see them. They said there was nothing they would do about it that it was all on me. So, while they did reply to this review, and ask me to check in with them, they didnt do anything.
