My son, who is a Lt. in the Army comes home to get his hair cut whenever possible at Garys. I was just thumbing through some photos and found this one. Thought Garys would appreciate seeing their shirt displayed in the GA Mountains!

Ive tried the themed barber shops and frankly you are paying a premium for the shop (or franchise) and usually not getting a great haircut.Garys Barber Shop is your basic barber shop where you will get a great hair cut, and good conversation (if you want it). Pricing is good.

Garys is old school, but truly one of the best haircuts for men in the area. The barbers are friendly, prices are reasonable, and the hot shave at the end is incredible. Make sure to bring cash because they dont take credit or debit cards!

My brother and dad absolutely love this place! It looks kind of sketchy from the outside, but is really nice on the inside. The barbers are extremely kind and professional as well.

I just took my 3 1/2 year son and it was great! Leslie was very helpful with keeping my son calm and she did an amazing job cutting his hair. Everyone in the shop was very kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend them and we will be going back.

Walked in on a Friday around Noon and got great service. They have a sign in board right next to the door that is easy to miss if youve never been there before. I didnt sign in but they didnt care. Very laid back, very friendly, and best of all very nice haircut for $14!

Wow! I CAN NOT say enough good things about this place but mostly about Lynnette! I found her on instagram and travel from Mooresville to get my hair done by her! She does a few of my friends now also because she is very Professional and fast! FYI, this is Not a $20 but they Charge like $17, i usually drop $40 and refuse change. And a Army Veteran whos risked her life for ours! ! ! Lynette is the best in Charlotte/Lake Norman.
