Used to be a die hard Sport Clios guy until I walked in here. LOVE this place. Friendly, professional and they listen to you as opposed to get u out of the chair ASAP.Highly recommend. The Manager is super helpful.

I moved to the Charlotte area a little over a year ago, and I had trouble finding a great barbershop. After several iffy haircuts at a variety of places, I found this gem. The staff here is very talented and I recommend this place to anyone who wants high quality service. I would specifically recommend the VIP cut and definitely book with Tiffany if she is available!

Great customer service, very nice staff...unfortunately no fade talent. I wish I could rate the staff and the service separately. The staff is welcoming and have great personalities. Unfortunately this is not a barbershop for short haircuts (black haircuts). I wont bash the stylists/barbers because i saw them do well with cutting and styling long straight hair. I think they just dont know how to shape up and fade short hair. See pic. They did not charge for the haircut but i have no choice but wait until it grows back before I can fix it.

The prices advertised online are $5 less than what they will charge when you check out. Ive been coming here since they opened and this had never happened until I went back after skipping a few months due to Covid. I like Roosters, but thought that was misleading and will not return if that continues

People, please STOP comparing this place to GREAT CLIPS. GREAT CLIPS is the bottom of the barrel, this place is where you would get a true haircut. So, before you rate lower and say on the review that is more expensive than GREAT CLIPS, remember that you will always get what you pay for! Now... to my review:I came over to this place today after reading the reviews and I needed to find a good barber to be my backup when I am not working in Uptown. I booked with Stephanie and she was really good in pampering the customer and making sure the experience was top notch. The shop is nicely decorated and have great comfortable chairs, youll get hot towels which will make you relax really well. However, unfortunately, nobody here is a barber. They use a GILLETTE RAZOR BLADE and not a straight edge shaver. Thats a big no-no for me. I wasnt expecting that at all, and by the time I noticed, I was already at the chair getting the service. The trimming wasnt done properly as well. I asked for the exact same number I use in other barbers and went way shorter than what was supposed to be done.If you are looking for a straight shave, this is not the place to come. However, if you are okay in getting a fancier shave than you get at home, go for it. The experience is good, the stylists are very nice and will make sure you are pampered enough.

Only thing negative about it is that I live in Matthews and now have to drive an hour to huntersville to get a haircut, but well worth it. I stopped in just cause I was in the area and got the best haircut I’ve got in a long time. Yes pricey, but you get what you pay for.Very pleased.

Ive been seeing Darrah for about a year now and have really been pleased. She always takes her time and is really focused on what she is doing. Ive tried several new things with my hair and she always executes better than I can describe. I have never had any problems at all. Very detailed and they really listen to what you say.

Roosters is the best. I came in with a botched attempt to cut my own hair.... NEVER again! I walked in looking like a cartoon character. Stephanie took a loooong time to fix it, but did an excellent job! Thanks Stephanie for going over and beyond what anyone else would have done and left me looking handsome!

First of all, these are NOT BARBERS. They are the same minimally licensed stylists that you would see at a great clips, sport clips, etc. Sure this place is nicer, but the product they deliver is no different than any other strip mall chain stylist. The only thing premium about this place is probably the decor. You can probably get an ok haircut here, but dont expect anything special. If you want a premium experience there are far better options in the area that have ACTUAL BARBERS who can give you everything from a basic cut to a full hot shave with a straight razor.

Visited this location twice with two different stylists. The place and the stylists are nice and friendly but the actual service needs work. Both times I received decent haircuts but with a few errors such as cutting sides unevenly and unfinished edges.I honestly should have caught these mistakes myself but at this price point I expected so much more. It is definitely not the worst place I have been to but i don’t really see the advantage of coming here compared to your average barber.

Go to sport clips or great clips if you want your hair butchered for less than half the price of this place. Paid 60$ for a hair cut and beard trim. The lady cuts my neck with straight razor which turned out to be a bigger cut then she made it sound. So entire time I had a burning sensation. She doesn’t trim one hair on my beard. does a terrible job straightening my beard with electric clippers. The lady did not fade in my hair. On one side and back. never showed me with mirror so had no idea till my wife asked me what the hell happened to your hair when i get home. Then when I told her how much I paid she lost it. Highly highly recommend staying away. Could of had it done freee at home if I wanted this quality.

My go-to place for a good & professional haircut. Tami does an awesome job to understand what I need in my haircut and execute the same to deliver amazing results. Little pricey but worth it.

You should know what youre getting here. This place looks like an upscale hair place, but in reality is an overpriced chain store.I made an appointment online, only to wait 15 minutes, not because they were busy, but because their schedule was so empty, one of the two stylists ran out to do some errands. I shouldve known that any place that has a wide open schedule should be a red-flag, so thats on me.The haircut I received from Stephanie was the worst I can recall from recent memory, but thankfully, hair grows back!Theres an abundance of similar establishments in the area, I see no reason to visit this one

Posting on behalf of my boyfriend.They DO NOT have barbers.Their website says Our stylists and barbers are skilled in classic and current techniques to give you the look you want.Yet, when I called ahead to see if they have barbers, they said they dont, BUT that their stylists can trim and style my beard how I want.I went in, we talked about what I wanted and she said she could do it. It wasnt what I wanted at all. The jaw line and cheek lines are uneven. She shaved it very short (after I asked her not to, just a trim). And she didnt shape it just made it round with my face. I do a better job at it myself at home for free.When she was done, I immediately told her I was unhappy with it. They gave me a coupon for $5 off my next trim, which doesnt help me at all because I wont be coming back here. I actually had to pay for the beard trim even though I wasnt happy with it.TL; DR: If you are looking for an ACTUAL barber, dont go here.

Called and asked specifically said I need my hair and beard cut. When I got there she said I was only scheduled for hair, and she would do my beard if she had time. Then when I told her what haircut I wanted (a simple mohawk unstyled) she again told me she didnt have time... So I settled for a typical fade. I was immediately turned off by her attitude, but I didnt say anything because the place was empty so I knew shed have time to at least do my beard. Overall the haircut and beard shaping she did were pretty solid, but definitely not worth 40$. She told me she was the manager, which is unfortunate because she is not polite. I wont go back

The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Youll get a nice massage when they are washing your hair. But the cut it self is nothing special. Frankly, if I was gonna pay their price, I would pay 10 bucks more and go to a stylist.

Friendly people, nice decor, absolutely terrible haircut. I don’t mean it wasn’t worth the money, I mean it was a hack job. I got the impression that she just didn’t know what she was doing. I don’t blame her, I blame the company for hiring her. She was so bad that I can’t imagine the company’s hiring process filters for quality at all.

I agree that this place should not be compared to Great Clips. At least Great Clips doesnt hide what they really are: a budget haircut. This place wants so badly to be a classy upscale gentlemens grooming lounge. But instead, you get hack-job cuts, inconsistent quality, aggressive hair product peddling upsales, and high employee turnover. I loved this place when it first opened, but it went downhill fast and far! What happened?

I am loving having Roosters Mens Grooming Center so close to my home in Huntersville. The staff is very attentive and talented, and I look forward to every visit. Five stars across the board.

I got a services gift card for hubby for bday. He absolutely loved the treatment, attention and service. Dahara did a great job. She was very knowledgable, attentive made my hubby relaxed, look distingushed and sexy. His skin was so soft and smooth from the 7-step shave. His hair was very soft, mosturized and smelled good. He was smiling ear to ear and had a new level of confidence.
