I found this location on Google in March after moving to midtown. I’ve came consistently without any issues for eyebrow threading. Today I came in as a walk in, Mimi G did my eyebrows and completely butchered them. They are two complete different shapes and sizes. One half of my eyebrow is completely gone! I hate confrontation and I wanted to cry but I continued to pay for my services with no tip. I finally got the courage about 5 minutes after leaving, to call and let them know how unhappy I was.They insisted that I come in so they can look at them. If my eyebrow is gone, what can they do?They know exactly what my eyebrows looked like when I left. They did not apologize, nor did they offer to refund me, or discount my next service.I now have to wait for my eyebrows to completely grow back, for this to be fixed.I work hard as an entrepreneur to earn my money. I understand the importance of customer service. I don’t know if it was because I’m African American that I was treated this way. Is it because I didn’t leave a tip after I was unhappy with my service? Am I obligated to leave a tip? Maybe I should’ve spoke up before I paid for this horrible service. I won’t be coming back. I never do this! But I am upset, $10 or $100, I work hard for my money. I’m upset.

Im so glad I found Beauty and Beyond Skin Care Center. Sara is the best! My brows have never looked better! Shes professional, efficient, and friendly.. highly recommend!

TLDR: If you go for eyebrows, make sure you get one of the experienced techs.I’ve been coming for a few years now to get my eyebrows threaded, primarily seeing Vaishali and Sara and always very happy with their work. When I got in for my appointment today I realized that I’d being seeing someone new. I figured it was fine since I’m just getting my brows cleaned up.I always tell the tech to only clean up and leave the brows very full. Since this person was new, I stated it explicitly and emphasized that I wanted very little taken off, I just needed the brows trimmed and cleaned up.I became concerned when another tech was able to start and finish another person before I had a single brow done. Then I overheard someone else complaining in the lobby about her brows, and I immediately stopped my tech and checked my brows. She had done the exact opposite of what I asked- she took out so much established growth that you can see a very clear tan line in my brow.It turns out this tech is new and didn’t understand what I said because she doesn’t speak English. I cannot understand why they would let a new tech who doesn’t understand English operate completely independently without someone to help translate, or why this woman would pretend to understand what I told her. I didn’t pay for the services, but now I’m having to buy new products to fill in my brows for the weddings I’m attending this month. So unbelievably frustrated.

Decided last minute to get my eyebrows threaded here. I called ahead and someone was available for an appointment within 10min. Sara was courteous, fast and thorough with shaping my eyebrows the way I wanted. Ill definitely be coming back!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience here. I have been a loyal customer for years, and I have recommended multiple people to this place. I had booked an appointment for a facial earlier in the week, and I called 4 hours before my appointment on Saturday to let them know I was experiencing Covid like symptoms, and I did not feel coming to the appointment would be safe for me or the staff. I was told I would not get my $20 deposit back which I was understanding about. I was then told I would be charged for my $100 service because it was over the 24 hour cancellation period.After respectfully reminding the owner we are still in a global pandemic, and I did not feel it was fair to charge me $100 for the service (take my deposit that’s fine) because I wanted to keep HER STAFF SAFE, she questioned me about Covid, my symptoms, basically interrogating me. She then told me these are tough times and that her business needs the money. I get it... times are tough for EVERYONE. It was the most unprofessional and disrespectful experience I have ever had at a business establishment.I will not be going back, and I will make sure to share my experience with everyone I have recommended their business to. I hate leaving a bad review, but the owner does not care about her customers.

I switched from Cera Ve and Cetaphil to this cleaner and I love it. My face feels amazingly clean and smooth after I wash it with this cleanser. Its a smaller bottle but it doesnt take a lot to foam up and wash my face. I feel it has helped keep my skin clear and bright, a lot better than my previous cleansers.

The eyebrow threading was okay BUT got my lip waxed and have three burns. Just left this place 20 mins ago... I didn’t notice when I was there because of the dim lighting. :( will not be going back.

I found this place doing a google search for eyebrow threading like 4 years ago! I’ve been coming back ever since. They seriously provide the best service. My go to person is Sara and I love the work that she does on my eyebrows. When I arrive I explain to her what I want done and she genuinely listens, not like those other places that nod okay and then do the complete opposite. Their prices are fairly reasonable and the location is super cute and cozy. The staff is very nice & friendly as well. For birthdays they offer this cute travel size gift and I love that! I usually make my appointments online and that’s very convenient and super easy. If you need to cancel/reschedule, just give them a call and they’ll work with you. I seriously love this place and refuse to go to anyone else!

The threading is pretty good, I personally prefer waxing, and they don’t offer it despite that is in theirs website. I called, and they told me they don’t wax.. and when I refer to the website I was told that is not updated. I have only been to Beauty and Beyond two times for facial threading. Both times I had an appointment with Sara. I was very impressed with the results the first time and even more the second time. I found this place just doing a GOOGLE search. I was extremely pleased with the suggestion. I have gone here several times. The location, unfortunately, is hard to get to and a bit out of my way now. Also, with current construction VERY difficult to get to.However, the atmosphere is wonderful. Very calming, professional. I havent tried the spa treatments, I usually just get my eyes/face threaded. I am extremely satisfied with that service.

I recently moved to Houston in August and have been in search for a salon that specializes in threading for some time now. I am happy to say that I have found that place! Before I even arrived, the lady who greeted me on the phone answered all of my questions and was very helpful. Additionally, when I arrived at the salon I was promptly greeted. Sara did a fantastic job on my eyebrows and upper-lip and answered my questions about brow shaping and brow growth. The salon even has a wonderful line of products for purchase. I do not recommend anyone coming to this establishment. A company’s true character and heart for their customers are revealed when things go bad.I was serviced with a mini-facial on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at 2:50 p.m. at the Beauty and Beyond Skin Care Center location of 410 Sul Ross St, Houston, TX 77006. I was burned by the tool that is used to bring a hot mist to the face. The tool was dropped and the hottest part of it fell on my arm when the aesthetician was attempting to adjust the machine.After about two hours my burn began to blister and soon after that I went to the Emergency Room. The Doctor confirmed that I have a second degree burn and that I need to follow up with my primary doctor or a Specialist for a check-up following usage of the prescription received. I was in much pain and this was my first facial ever. I came to be serviced here because of the good reviews online. I checked all social media platforms before deciding to get my first facial with this business. I am saddened that my experience ended in a serious burn in which I have never experienced a second degree burn before this incident.As a woman, this has caused me much grief. I came here to treat my skin to a healthy experience and ended up taking several steps backwards. I have not felt comfortable having my arms out since this incident and also have been instructed to keep my scar out of the sun. I have been informed by several medical professionals that I am indeed scarred for life (including a Dermatologist and Burn Center Physician, both in the Memorial Hermann community). Unfortunately, this company has not taken care of the outcome of this incident as of 1/31/2020.Also, be aware that if something bad does happen, they will just discard (fire) the aesthetician and make an attempt to detach themselves from that incident.I made a real attempt at giving them a chance to simply do the right thing.**I have posted photos with this review as well and they are not showing up. I go to Beauty and Beyond for eye brow threading. I have thick, dark eye brows that require upkeep. They are so quick and I always finish with a perfect shape and never too thin. Very, very happy. Also, they treat you with a nice tiny beauty package on your birthday which is fun! highly recommend!

I moved here and found this place via online research. It had good reviews and I decided to try it out. Ive had 2 eyebrow threadings so far and one eyebrow tint and theyve all come out wonderfully. Ive been able to make next day appointments too -- since Im not always on top of my eyebrow maintenance in advance. I came across this place on Groupon when I was searching for a reliable facial location. It had great previous reviews on Yelp and I l thought it was god after I looked through their services on the website. The appointment booking process was prompt and easy. I had a customized facial since my face was so dry and flaky. and it was my first time there. It was done by Sarah and she was wonderful. She examined my facial skin first and gave suggestions as well as told me what she was going to work on my face. I definitely felt a difference after having a facial from Sarah. The only thing that I was a little unpleasant with was that when she applied the mask, a bit of the mask got into my nose and I could feel it stuck right there. Sarah was trying to wipe it when taking off the mask but it didnt come off completely. Other than that, everything was very relaxing and nice. I also had my eyebrow threaded by Sarah and Im satisfied with the shape. I would recommend this lovely place and give it another visit in the future!

I just got my eyebrows threaded today and they look AMAZING! My appt was with Sara and I had initially scheduled eyebrow threading and tint. Given that my eyebrows are pretty dark,she recommended that I dont need the tint. I appreciated her honest input. Sara definitely has a life-long customer in me and Im looking forward to trying out their other services. The place has a nice ambiance,very calm and serene. Seriously,my eyebrows look the bomb!

Neha is the worst and has clearly hasn’t been trained. She cut my entire face up while trying to thread my upper lip and eyebrows. I have deep cuts and I’m sure they’re going to turn into scabs and scars soon. She didn’t even take off all the hair on my upper lip. At the end I mentioned how much it hurt and said hope I don’t have any cuts, to which she replied no I haven’t done that. Well, boy was she wrong. Never going back here again. And I advice anyone who values their skin to stay away.

They have amazing customer service! If youre a couple minutes late then they call to ask if you are still coming, very punctual with their time. I went when I purchased a Groupon for a facial. I had never gotten a facial before and wasnt sure what to expect- but i was excited for a new experience! The staff at Beauty and Beyond really create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. My beautician explained every process of the facial to me before she began, and while she was performing the facial. They use really amazing, natural products; and when I left i felt revived, relaxed, and my skin was so smooth! I recommend that everyone get a facial once a year- it really was worth it! Beauty and Beyond is a really unique, calming, welcoming place and i cant wait to go back!

Long Review Ahead:I have been going to Beauty and Beyond for their threading services for over 3 years now and I am consistently pleased with their work.When my hectic schedule forces me to get my threading services at foreign salons, I am ALWAYS disappointed (but not surprised) that they dont live up to the high quality of work provided by Beauty and Beyond. Ive been to threading salons that will jab my eyes with their knuckles as they thread or NOTICEABLY misshape my brows but you wont find that here at B&B. Here at Beauty and Beyond, you will see smiling faces, professionalism, and precision.To ensure that you get in and out of your appointment as quickly as possible, it is best to book an appointment in advance via phone. However, they are super accommodating when it comes to walk-ins. On a normal/slower day, I can just walk up, sign-in, and sit down in their chair for immediate services. On a busier day, there may be a brief delay about 10 minutes. There has only been ONE occasion where I was told it would be longer than a 30 minute wait. Instead of waiting, I just made an appointment for the next day. No big deal. Again, they are very helpful and accommodating.If available, I will book my appointment with Sarah. Although, all of the beauticians do wonderful work, Sarah is the beautician I see most frequently (at first, out of pure happenstance due to being a walk-in all the time, but now by request). She knows exactly how I like my brows to be shaped ad does a great job every time. Id recommend Sarahs services to anyone!Because of recent construction, Parking may be limited. (But hey, thats pretty much EVERYWHERE in Houston. You cant blame the salon for that.)Id like to try some of their additional services one day (henna, facial, etc.) but for now I will just stick to brows.I will always recommend Beauty and Beyond!

I have been an on and off customer last couple of years. If my work schedule allowed, I would visit the place more often. Eye brow threading is the primary reason I go there. Very relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I had facial one time. It was very relaxing. My only concern is the quality of the work differs from time to time. It is always good quality. Sometimes it is the best quality of work you receive, sometimes it is good quality. I am not sure what determines that tho. But in general I am very happy with the overall experience.

One of the anesthetics gave me a consultation and we started right away on my custom facial. After the facial I felt relaxed and my skin felt brand new! Place is cute and all, but the lady gave me two different eyebrows. She left the left side thinner than the right and they were not symmetrical. What an embarrassment! Notice how one is much thinner than the other one, not cute.

I dont see the hype about this place. Ive been three times (with Sara, Patty and Vishali) and Ive never actually come out happy with the shape of my brows. They are always just not symmetrical or not right for my face shape (too thin and too arched). Although they are very quick, and kind, that doesnt matter if your eyebrows dont look good on you afterwards. Its also more expensive than other threading places who will do a better job.

When you walk up to this place, you may say to yourself is this the right place? Beauty and Beyond is in a house with an ivy-covered gate in a residential area. Once you walk in, it certainly looks and feels like a regular spa. The receptionists were bubbly and friendly. They offered us water and were happy to chat with me while I waited for my friend. We both had custom facials. Vaishali is amazing. She walked me through all that she planned to do based upon my skin condition and my concerns, which was nice and helped me know what to expect. She offered advice but didnt push any products, which was VERY nice. I was so relaxed by the end. It felt more like a body massage relaxation feeling than a facial. She is such a sweet lady. She even ended with a recommendation on a pub nearby since she overheard me talking to the receptionists about my love of craft beer and pubs. Just keep in mind that you probably wont be able to schedule two people at once if youve got a friend in mind. We thought it was well worth the wait.Overall, a great experience. The first eye brow threading that did NOT Leave me looking like the 90s thin brow craze. Threaded them to fit my face. They really made me look my most beautiful.

Ive been coming here every 3-4 weeks for the last year for threading. Initially, I was just coming to get ready for my wedding but I have kept it up. I have found that all of the technicians provide excellent service and my eyebrows always look great. It is quick to get in and out and booking is convenient and easy.

I visited Beauty and Beyond on a busy Saturday. I was stressed but within a few minutes I was calm. My face and skin felt revitalized and my eye brows looked quick. I live in the Memorial area so I wish she would create a location closer to me.

I have no idea why this place has such a high rating, i went with full on out grown brows and left with two different eyebrows!!! I looked like i was mad on one side of my face! I had a high raised skinny brow and a low arched skinny brow. Also they were threaded but they left like i was cut and the next day i felt scabs on my eyebrows like what?? Can i actually get cut by string??

I get my eyebrows cleaned up and/or shaped every 2 weeks. I go to Sara and she is wonderful. My eyebrows are amazing lol...

Nice little place in the Montrose area. Vaishali is amazing at threading eyebrows and is very friendly and professional as well. I have never had a facial there, but I would love to try one sometime. They are by appointment only and are very good at keeping to their schedule. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I would highly recommend Beauty and Beyond to anyone interested!

Im a fairly new client of Vaishali. I found her through Groupon and so glad that I did. She gave me the best facial of my life and now Im hooked. Vaishali really helped me shape my eyebrows to fit my face! I used to get them waxed at various nail salons, but I will never do that again. Her staff is extremely courteous and they are super quick - I have never had to wait.

I have done monthly facial here for four months so far. I like how they emailed me coupons and posted such deal on their FB page. The place is quite and relaxing with cute Indian decorations. Friendly staff with beautiful smiles and great patience. They explained to me what they were doing and checked in with me if I am ok during the process. The location is convenient and very easy to park. I like how the trees allowed my car stays in the shade all the time.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Ive had my eyebrows threaded by Sara and the process is quick and painless. I also like that it is in a private room. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Rude staff. The lady got an attitude with me because I no longer wanted a wax once I discovered they only use soft wax instead of hard wax for Brazilians.

How do I put more than five stars!? I guess 5 will do. This was my first visit and I will be back many more times. My experience was amazing with Vaishali. I have always either gotten my eyebrows waxed or tweeted them myself and I was never thrilled with the outcome. I went for brow shaping and threading for $15. I was told threading clean up for following visits will be $10. Vaishali is so personable and friendly. She took the time to talk with me about what eyebrow shape goes best with my face and explained the whole process. She even filled in my brows a little to show how I can do it at home. My eyebrows have never looked more amazing!

Needed a new place to go to closer to me so I decided to try this place out. Located on a residential street, very cute place. I went on a Monday in the early afternoon so there was literally no one else there. Must have just gotten lucky because I had a great experience so theres got to be times when its more busy. Sarah threaded by eyebrows and upper lip and did an excellent job. She took her time but thats fine with me, and it hurt way less than I have experienced in the past. I would definitely recommend seeing her.The only minor complaint I have is that first time customers get charged $5 more than if youve been there before.. doesnt seem like a good incentive to get new clients but luckily I found a coupon on their website for $5 threading (works on Mondays only) so it ended up being $15 for eyebrow and upper lip threading, the typical price.

Found this place through a google search in my area. I was a little nervous about trying this place due to prior threading nightmares, but Rosie was absolutely fabulous! Salon was beautiful on the inside.

I have been coming to Beauty and Beyond Skin Care Center to have my brows groomed every 2-3 weeks for about 10 years with Vashaili and Sara. Customer service here is outstanding and they are always accommodating with appointment times and walk-Ins!

I have been going to this place for a month now. I love it!! They do a great job with my eyebrows every time, and for a great price. I will continue to go here.
