PURE AWESOMENESS this time around. The first two service provider didn’t show, once I called USAA and explained my issue she set up another service provider. The service provider called me shortly after and gave 16min ETA and he was there in less than 10mins!!!!! Very professional, very knowledgeable on cars and maintenance. Had me to crank my car a few times to ensure it was working. I would recommend this service provider above the rest, first go to person that I will recommend!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE! Thank God!!! The service provider was listed as “BlackStar Logistics” but this was the same truck, I forgot to get a name

After the first road side assistant people canceled after waiting 1.5 hours to change my tire. Hashem from Road star showed up in 30 minutes. He was friendly and fast. He showed me how to change my tire in case I needed to on my own. Thank you for the great services. This referral from Travelers insurance.

TLDR: driver lied about ETA and never showed up after 5 hours.Details: Their Service was so bad I can honestly say that their slogan Service is beyond the expected is technically correct. I did not expect it.If you are worried about time or are in an emergency, dont use this company. I was fortunate my car broke down in a safe area with people I knew.Roadstar towing and recovery was assigned as a towing service by my insurance company when I asked for road side assistance and it was terrible. At 7:28AM they texted they would pick up the car within 60 to 90 minutes so I expected maybe a pick up at 10:00AM if there were issues and a call or text update if there were problems. At 8:22 we called and asked for an eta and they said in 25 minutes. After 30 minutes passed, we texted the driver for an ETA and the driver did not respond to any of our messages. We texted a few more times and still no response. At 12:05 I called and The driver said he was going to put me on hold. I heard him laughing and playing with a young child in the background which I will admit sounded very cute. After 2 minutes of listening to this the driver hung up on me. Attempted to call back a few times and he rejected my calls. So I called my insurance to have another service assigned.Houston Towing and Trans LLC texted they would arrive in 45 to 75 minutes and showed up in 60.

Was locked out of my vehicle and they arrived a little late but did an excellent job. Very polite and worth the wait. I’ve dealt with plenty tow companies before in my business and have also had to deal with a lot of rudeness. Was pleasantly surprised at how great the customer service was. Will use again for sure. I’m from out of town so I definitely didn’t know what to expect from this company.... reading the reviews made me uneasy.... however, I had a great experience with Roadstar. He knew what he was doing, decent conversation, and the wait time wasn’t long... it’s in the wee hrs of morning so I thought I’d be waiting forever but I wasn’t. Thanks Roadstar!!!

National Roadside Service scheduled them to pick up my vehicle to be towed. It’s been over 3 1/2 hours and they have still yet to arrive. I had to have National dispatch another service. The other company showed up first. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemies. If National is your roadside service company, be sure to call for towing 36 hours in advance to schedule your tow. They aren’t going to be proactive in identifying the root cause. Most importantly...be sure that this company isn’t the one booked to tow your vehicle. You’ll be waiting forever.

Great customer service. Houston is big and traffic happens as well as unexpected circumstances but the driver kept me up to date on everything and arrived pretty quickly. I would use again and again.

Have used them quite a few times for my classic cars. Always take great care of me and my vehicles. A-1 company. Very nice owner.

Had two guys show up previously that couldn’t tow me. Roadstar was not only able to perform the service but did so while I was ordering food and completed the job before I finished. Very professional. Very polite. Great service. Got me going so I could get back to work!!

Great service. Arrived on time or very close to it. Wasn’t really watching the clock but the wait was reasonable and driver was very nice .

Great. Just great. Glad to leave a review and support a small business. Covid has been hard on small businesses. I’m glad to see this one is still around. RoadStar deserves 5 stars and more. Got my wife back on the road and showed the utmost care and respect despite our frustrations from being stranded after a previous company was not able to perform our service. RoadStar was dispatched and we couldn’t be happier.

Never showed up, never answered the phone. Very unprofessional. Might as well close the company down. Not a real company, if their name come up you should ask for another service.

Not sure why the low reviews. The guy (Hashim) is changing my tire as I write this review and hes doing a great job. Hes extremely courteous. I dont carry cash around with me so cant tip him and I feel so bad but Hes very deserving of a big tip and an excellent review. Dont hesitate to use this company at all, theyre very very credible. First flat Ive ever had in my life and its the first Im using Roadstar but Im extremely pleased.

It was a little tricky getting my car towed due to wheel coming off axel. One tow company didnt have the necessary equipment to tow me, but Roadstar did. The owner came and was able to carefully get my car towed without damaging it. He was professional, courteous and fast! I highly recommend Roadstar for all your towing needs. You wont be disappointed!!!!!!

On time, knowledgeable and professional, Sam took great care to remove two flooded cars from the garage that wouldnt start after Hurricane Harvey. He had all the necessary tools and equipment. Highly recommended.

Called our roadside service for a tow and they selected Roadstar.The eta was 100 minutes. We waited 2 hours and decided to give Roadstar a call to see what the eta might be, no answer and they didnt allow us the option of leaving a message. 3 hours waiting and still no wrecker and still not answering our calls. We called our roadside service back and chose another company that was there in 15 minutes.

Nationwide said they would take an hour. Waited 30 minutes, then called. They said it was going to be another 25-30 minutes. Wow. Thank you so very much for calling me 30 minutes ago that you were going to take another hour, when I could pay $50 to a driver and be done in 30 minutes. I don’t know why you are a preferred driver for Nationwide if you can’t make a simple phone call as a courtesy. Very poor.

Absolutely the worst damn towing company ever. I wish I could give them a negative star. I did better by going to AutoZone and bought a rope and pulled my own damn car for free. I waited for these clowns to come for over four and a half hours to tow my vehicle through my roadside assistant. The sad thing is my roadside assistant carrier kept call to verify they were on their way. Each time they assured they were coming(kept saying we are 10-15 mins away). The last time my roadside assistant called the to see where in the hell they were they refused to answer their phone after numerous attempts. This company is a joke, you would do better and do like me and go to Autozone and get a rope or chain and pull it yourself.

I NEEDED HELP WITH A MEDIUM DUTY WINCH OUT AND THE GENTLEMAN WAS VERY NICE AND HE ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND GOT US BACK ON THE ROAD THANKS ROAD STAR

Road service called them ETA 75 min. 2 hours later I call them, 50 more min. Just call someone else. Road service called too looking for a review of them, it was worst than this one. These guys a a dime a dozen, call someone else.

AVOID!Gave me an ETA of 2:35PM at 1:00PM. I called on several occasions and was told truck was inbound. When 3PM rolled around I called and asked where the truck was. They said theyd check and about 2 minutes later they hung up the phone and wont answer my calls anymore.Poor ServicePoor Response TimeBad Company

Customer service with this guy it sucks wont even take money from me to go across the street the owner of this business is extremely unreliable I would never call these people ever again

Was originally given an estimate of 75 minutes. Called 2 hours later, and was told 35-40 minutes, if that. 45 minutes later I call again and am told the driver will call me in a few minutes. 20 minutes later, and no call.

Well I have a local storage lot in Houston these people picked up a car from me begged me to take there check and it was returned for insufficient funds now they dont pick up the phone

Towing service never arrived. Contacted and they added 40 minutes each time. After 2 hours, they stopped answering and calls went straight to voicemail. Terrible service and follow-up (or lack thereof).
