GREAT experience with Video Repair Place. I cant say enough nice things about Jo, the technician. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, on time, and communicated exactly what was needed to repair the washing machine. Because it was under warranty the the two service calls (once for a review, and once for installation of the part) were free, but I would have paid any service charges because I have not seen a repair place with this level of service. I will definitely use them again if I ever need anything. I even received an email from the manufacturer when the part was ordered and delivered to their facility - they were at my house the next day!

I would have gave it a 5⭐ but the speaking to the people on the phone for information or appointment were frustrating. They did not let you talk, seem annoyed if you ask questions and didnt address your concerns. The only thing that saved it was the tech that came out to repair my washer. His name was Pablo. He made sure to explain my questions on the repair. And also fixed the problem.I would highly recommend this company because of the service. Hopefully they can work it n the other part.

Beware. The whole repair process for a Bosch microwave took 4 months and it was reported to my warranty company that was fully repaired. However, the working switch was not installed and microwave doesnt produce any heat. I spoke to the tech and he said he needs to come back to install the switch but the shop never gives me a call to schedule it. Ive tried to contact Video Repair Place for over 10 times and I was lucky to reach a person in 1 out of 10 times. Then, I was told the repair is done and close. When I told them no, it doesnt produce any heat, they told me the manager will contact me back the next day. After one week, there is still no call. Every time I tried to reach someone with their business number, it went to their voice mail and no return call. Once they got the money from the warranty company, they kick you to the dirt. Save your money to find a better repair shop!!UPDATE: So the manager called me and apologized about the situation. He spoke to the tech and the tech was also onboard saying it was not completed. He came to our home in 2 days to replace the switch and voila, everything is back to work. Im glad in the end of the day they stepped up and finished the work as expected.

I am reading all these negative comments and wonder why you received such horrible service as you claim. I have a Samsung refrigerator that needed the ice maker replaced and also the wiring in the freezer part due to the light going out. No they did not have the part when they came as they were not sure what was wrong yet so yes they had to order the parts. Did I lose my mind over a common thing since 2020 put everything and everyone behind No I did not. The men that came out were very nice and I did not have a problem with them at all. I guess some people expect service techs to jump through hoops for them. My refrigerator is now making a loud knocking noise and again Home Depot scheduled a technician to come out next week. I actually requested VRP because of the excellent service they provided in the past.
A friend of mine dealt with this company. Totally unprofessional and lack of experience. How can you take a part off of a customer washing machine without having the replacement part to put on and then telling the customer that the replacement part will not be in until a week or so. They also denied service to put the old part back on so my friend can wash his family clothes until the new part comes in. So now my friend have to go a week without a washing machine which makes it inconvenient to him now because he have to wash at a washateria. Do not deal with this company

I started This Journey a few months ago. My washer started throwing Error Codes And the first thing they did was fit me into the schedule since I was going out of town. We ended up replacing my screen? the touch stuff. I think the rental house electrical fried it. I was staying at my grandmothers due to other reasons. And just recently went to use my washer since the repair before i moved out and it started throwing error codes again and once again they jumped through hoops to get me on the schedule. I moved from the rental ( That had major electrical wiring issues ) and now my washer isnt messed up . But these people were willing to come figure out the problem . Fit me in the schedule and was willing to work with what i could do to get my repairs done.I do recomend them a lot because customer service is a large part of these jobs and how freindly they were about my schedule, the guys they sent out. The costs. Ect. Thank you And I dont need to spend money on a new washer. =D

STAY AWAY unless you like wasting money! I have a Samsung Dishwasher that’s fairly new. I called Samsung and they scheduled these folks to service it. I’m out of warranty, however, Samsung said they would pay for the parts. The service call was $163 just to diagnose it. I should have known then that this company will rip you off. The tech came out spent 5 minutes looking at it and said it was leaking water value. They only gave me the cost of labor which was well over $225. When I asked for the price of the part they refused to disclose the information. I can only assume they are double dipping, since they refused to disclose how much the part costs. If you can get the office to answer the phone, good luck trying to get any useful information from them. The staff was unprofessional and not knowledgeable. I should have just bought a new dishwasher in the first place. Be warned you’re in for a pretty penny if you decide to go with these folks.
Really, they deserve ZERO stars, not professional at all. 10 days ago I received an email confirming date and time they would come to my house to fix my dryer. That day came and they didn’t showed up at the time frame they said (4 hrs) tried to call them several times, left voice messages, no answer. Finally, through GE customer service I was able to contact them, and they said they wouldn’t show up, that the email wasn’t a confirmation they were going to show up. That they tried to call me but I have no missed calls nor one voicemail from them.They tried to fix my problem by phone (asking two questions) and said they were going to order the part and they will going to call me in 10 days to schedule another appointment!!! Do not hire them, and GE please hire another authorized repair shop for your appliances. They are the worst!!

If I could give them no stars I would. First, they took over one month to even get an appointment scheduled. We were forced to use this company based on a warranty we purchased with Best Buy. Second, when the warranty was originally purchased they CLEARLY stated they could remove TVs from wall mounts for repair as most people have then set up this way. I specifically asked this as ALL my TVs are mounted. Well this is not true. Third, they did not even come into my home to look at the TV because I stated it was on a wall mount. Fourth, they would not give us the part they ordered (that apparently is the reason why the appointment took over one month to schedule). Fifth, the technician stated himself he wasn’t sure how to even put the part in/on the TV. Sixth, Eva, their administrative clerk was rude, lied, and ignored any concerns I had. Additionally, she had over a week turnover to respond to emails. NEVER use this company.
We bought a LG refrigerator at Home Depot 2 years ago. We paid a 5-year warranty and, honestly, Home Depot needs to switch to another third-party repair service company. Yesterday, a technician came to my house and tried to fix the ice machine and water dispenser (error code E 1F). It worked for 2 hours only, and its showing the same error code. I requested the person on the phone to send the technician, not today but tomorrow. She said that I needed to wait one more week (after three weeks that I have been waiting to get this refrigerator fixed) because we ordered a new part. I was so frustrated, she put me on hold (literally to shut me up), not even a please let me put you on hold to talk to my manager, where are the magic words?. She said shed call me back in one hour at 9:30 am, its 11:30 am and no response. I called them, and takes me straight to the voicemail. Instead of calling me back, they sent me an email saying the will be in touch with me soon. Now, I have to wait one week more to get this repaired. SO disappointed! Is it too much to ask to repair an appliance when I already have paid a warranty for it? You are not doing this for free folks. Then, they said that I disrespected their technician? Excuse me, but saying the truth about the careless service is not being disrespectful. Customer service standards and deficient responsiveness are disrespectful.
I found Video Repair Place through Samsung warranty service. Im really impressed with their customer service. Eva rocks! Shes professional, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. VRP should double her salary and give her the corner office; the one with a view!
So these guys came to repair the pump of our washing machine. When they came they said that they found another problem so they will need to order the parts for the other problem. So another technician came again the following week with the parts only to say that they need to order parts for the pump, which was the original problem in the first place. So basically, there was no communication between the first technician and the 2nd technician. This means that we will not have use of our washer for 1 month. 1 month to repair a washer?? I guess repairing a washer for this company is like repairing a rocket ship.... too compliacted for them.

So Samsung sent this company to repair my 2 month old refrigerator. The company ordered my a new freezer door because the ice maker was freezing up. Now they say all tech are factory trained. Not sure what factory they are talking about. The tech did not have a clue what he was doing. While trying to remove the door he made at least 5-6 phone calls to other techs to walk him thru the process. When he finally got the door off, which took over an hour, the began to take the old parts off the old door to install on the new door. Now my pantry door will have to be repainted because he leaned to old door against it and took off some of the paint. I had to help him remove the door and show him a couple youtube videos on how to remove the door. After 2 hours he finally got the new door ready to go on, now mind you the freezer was wide open and running this entire time. I had to throw out food that started to defrost. The tech had to watch a couple more vidoes on how to install the door as well. I had to remind him to take the old door seal and put on the new one. 3 1/2 hours later he was done. This morning I went to get water and the plate you depress fell off and seems to have a tab broken on it and the water did not come out the tube, but was coming from above the water dispenser control part. I guess I will be trying to fix their screwups this weekend and ordering a new part my self. I called and left a voice mail complaining but have yet to hear back from them. They will not be back in my house to repair anything.
Best Buy contacted Video Repair Place on my behalf for a repair on my brand new Toshiba television. The first time, no one called me nor showed up for my appt. Elizabeth supposedly called and left a message but I have no record of a missed call nor voicemail. I called and left a message with Eva, Elizabeth called me back and set up an appt. the day before the appt Elizabeth called to tell me that my repair was delayed because the tech suffered a knee injury, the tech that later came was John.The tech came on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, deduced that a part was needed, called his supervisor while still on site who said that he was ordering the part that day. He let me know that it would take about 7 days to come in. I called on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but never received a call back. I called again today, Tuesday, and spoke with Eva who said she’d speak with her boss and get back to me. She called back to let me know that the soonest appt she has is December 9. I ask if the part was in and she said yes. I ask why no one checked tracking and set up the repair to coincide with the sooner arrival of the part and she responded quite rudely and unprofessionally.It’s December 9, 2020, the day of my repair. The part has been in for 10 days. The excuse for why my appt won’t go forward is because Chris, the tech assigned to me has a toothache.Maybe this company was up to task to be a warranty repair company in the past but they are NOT now!
Ive had problems with my Samsung refrigerator now for about 1 1/2 weeks now and have called this company at least half a dozen times as the Samsung customer service directed but have yet to receive a call back.Meanwhile Ive had to throw away everything in my fridge and freezer.This is the only AUTHORIZED repair company Samsung has in this area apparently and has so far dropped the ball.Im really hoping to get this problem rectified as $3000.00 is alot to pay for a fridge but has absolutely horrible customer service.

Josh replaced a water pump on my LG washer/dryer combo unit. This kind of unit is somewhat unusual for the US, but Josh did a great job and was very professional throughout the process. Also, even though the call was not about this, the washer seems to work better after the repair than when it was new, because the washer loads have not become unbalanced since then causing a lot of vibration. Couldnt even call during business hours to say they were not going to arrived(which I wouldve understood).....Then we were given different reasons why they werent coming out... The lady answering the phones was quite rude and told us to contact another company to file a complaint?....I had only heard of this company a few days ago and it took a matter of minutes to realize this is a company to avoid..... terrible customer service.....

Worst company ever. Sent out a technician 3 weeks ago to look at our washer. Took a week to schedule a repair which took an additional week. Unfortunately paid in advance. The same technician who came out and looked the first time at the washer tells us theres other things wrong and they need more time to fix it and to schedule a new appointment. They never answer their phone. My husband called multiple times do find that they never answer their phone. We immediately wanted our money back. How this company still gets work when they clearly suck and barely know how to diagnose issues is beyond my comprehension. Please avoid using this place. They will give you the run around and never fix anything. NEVER PAY IN ADVANCE.

Extremely disappointed, I have an extended warranty with Home Depot on my washer and Video Repair Place is the contractor that is supposed to perform the service. Thinks have been a nightmare experience for us. They just refused the service. My wive tried to call multiple times but the person on the call was rude and hang up on her. Its been a few weeks and my washer is still broken.
I hope these guys can do a lot better. They took weeks to order the part and still havent installed in my appliance. I spoke with sue to try and finally get somebody out here and she was highly rude to me and then hung up on me knowing that I could not call back after 5pm as they would be closed. I just want my appliance fixed. Why did I have to get stuck with these guys as my repair company? They are the worst please save yourself some time and use somebody else!

Very disappointed with this place. Our Warranty Company had someone from this place come over to repair our refrigerator water dispenser. His comment was that we should replace the filters and we explained that it had been done 3 times in one month.He took the existing filter out and replaced it and voila it worked, for exactly one hour and the same issue of not dispensing water. Funny enough, this is exactly what we had told him when he was there.Now after that we have been calling them and leaving voice mails without them responding.If I were you, I would not go to this place

Had a Lowes extended warranty repair conducted on my Frigidaire refrigerator. The ice maker was leaking in the front and they had to replace a front door .
