This is biggest ripoff of the elderly, disabled and unfortunate. This Isha and her sister Shirlina Mohammed have conned many a person into Federal disability in order to steal their backpay via lies and attorney kickbacks. Turning Point claims to never take Federal money Yet they charge residents most of their fixed income for what they call Program Fees and half their food stamps to live there. This is their way of avoiding audit after being found guilty of false claims of non-profit status and hefty fines adjudicated in court.

Horrible place. Was referred there by a friend of mines I had 4 small children they made us leave early in the morning no money no food nothing..made us share a room with another family with 6 kids. They took us to Dave and Busters one of the employees attack my 5 year old daughter at the time who had special needs. Before I filed charges on them the Indian woman who is the owner kicked us out and tried to charge us 700. I wouldnt let my dog live there. Roach and bedbug infested

When your homeless, tired and hungry, this is the place you need to be. Staff is great, rooms are nice and spacious and food is great. Also there are good people who were once in the same place you were. Highly recommended!

Thankful there is a place for senior citizens in need. It really helps those who want and need it. When life has turned around and theres nowhere to go, you cant get things back together. They are there.

This place was an absolute joke. I briefly stayed with my 3 children & am appalled at the way they treat women & children who are already in a bad situation. My children & I were forced to walk the streets during the day, rain or shine, until we were able to come back to cook dinner. If you have no money, good luck feeding your children or washing their clothes because you are only allowed to wash one very small load of laundry a week. They offer no services to help you get out of that place, instead they do everything they can to keep you there for as long as they can before they call cps (not on me personally) to try to take your kids away from you. Oh & if you are able to find a job this shelter is going to make you pay a crazy amount of rent to share a room with someone else & their children. I wouldnt donate a penny to this place directly if you really want to help someone in need considering going to speak to these mothers in person & maybe sponsoring their family.

I would not recommend this place to anyone because on their flyer they say they will help you with job even if its at a day labor place but when I was unable to find work do to a fractured ankle and I got behind on my red they evicted me and I ask them why are you a evicting me when you advertise in the flyer that you would help with jobs and job training.. anybody can get ahold of me David Barker on Facebook and I can show you the paperwork they are about helping themselves you are okay as long as you pay the $600 rent four people to a room.

600 a month to share a bed bug infested 1 bed room with 3 other adults. They make you go apply for a Lonestar card so they can charge you for donated food and most clothing donations never make it to the residents. Ive was lassoed in to help unload box trucks of donated clothes in one of their off site storage units while they have people living there with hardly anything. Did I mention 4 residents have od from narcos and died in the past 5 months
