They didn’t get all of the boxes and items from my previous residence. They also didn’t attach the mirror that goes onto my dresser after asking me if I wanted that. Overall quick service but the attention to detail was very upsetting. I paid a lot of money to have to complete the move myself.

Mike and his team did an AMAZING job moving my furniture, especially my late grandmothers precious china cabinet and dining table to my new home. They had to navigate tight corners up the stairs and they successfully got the furniture up to the second floor. The team did a very careful job of wrapping everything to make sure nothing was damaged. They were super professional, very nice and worked hard during the whole time. Had to move my brother out of his flooded home of 43 years. Difficult move made so much easier by a great team of packers and movers.  Pleasant, professional, and hard working from start to finish. The Team Leader did not seem comfortable speaking English but that certainly didnt slow him down. And, during delivery, he knew exactly which room each piece of furniture came from. I went to Houston on a Wednesday night to meet my movers that were from town moving to on Thursday - they blew a rod on way on Wednesday and notified me less than 45 minutes until their arrival that they would not be able to get to me before 7pm that night meaning wed be unloading close to midnight...uh, NO. We had a move this past Sunday. The office staff is very responsive and provided quote without any hidden charges. Four movers came as scheduled and were on time. They work at fairly fast pace and warped our furniture well. I would recommend this moving company.

When the movers arrived, I asked that a group of color-coded boxes and containers be placed at the front of my storage unit for easy access, and left the rest to the professionals. After seven months of caring for an ill family member, I was finally able to make the trip to check my storage, and was incredibly frustrated to discover things were stacked almost to the ceiling in the back of the unit with tons of empty space left in the front. At least half of the boxes were placed facing label back, and those Id color-coded were scattered all over (two underneath a 200 lbs. sewing cabinet I couldnt even begin to lift). And, most crushing of all, a leg on my great-grandmothers coffee table was broken--I assume because of the two XL, heavy boxes stacked on top of it. Not until I can recruit a couple able-bodied men to help me with the mountain of heavy-lifting piled high in the back will I know whether thats the extent of the damage.I really appreciate the guys taking the time to wrap everything, and understand a third-floor move during heavy rains on New Years Eve isnt idea. But neither is losing a family heirloom and having to do the job I paid them for. Never again.

3 guys and they didnt stall for time. 2hrs and 15min to get my 2nd floor 1 bedroom to another 2nd floor 30 min away. MUCH better than 2 men and a truck for time and money. Thanks yall!

With the crazy market we didn’t have much time to plan our live but they got us in on a Saturday with less than a weeks notice … we had to take a smaller truck and not everything fit but we knew that going in due to the late booking. These guys did an amazing job! They packed the truck like Tetris and moved a lot of heavy and large items through tight stairways with turns and didn’t damage anything !!! Very impressed! The 2 movers were efficient and got done in time frame we had them. They did break the knob off a nightstand and when we pointed it out they try to blame us. When I contacted the company they said since we helped move things into the truck, which were small items, that the claim doesn’t count. They handled the nightstand the entire time from onto the truck and off. Don’t appreciate the blaming and company not hearing our side of story.

I’ve used this moving company before and had a great experience. I used them again yesterday and I had Mike and his team and they were great and patient.The only concerning thing I didn’t like was as one worker was assembling my bed he didn’t have all the screws and I went to find them in my car. When I returned Mike had moved some screws from the bed and readjusted them and told me he went and got screws from his truck and put them in and I could clearly see missing holes as they tried to put down my mattress. I didn’t like being lied to. At that moment I located my bed screws and handed them to him and he said he only needed four and I told him he needed all 8. I said you’re trying to not do this correctly, it’s 4 missing screws on both sides of the frame. He then said, okay okay sorry. Then started speaking in Spanish to the other worker because I guess he realized I caught them. I really disliked being lied to about my stuff and there is a rip on my sofa but no one said anything me and I didn’t see it fully until the movers left so I couldn’t report it.I will say, they forgot something came back to get it and tightened the legs on a chair they moved after they returned. That was nice. But still lying and covering up things to customers is not good service or demonstration of trust.

I have used this moving company for in-town moves several times in the last three years, most recently a couple of days ago, and i highly recommend them. They not only take care with items being moved, but they are also careful not to damage other property in the move, such as walls, stairs, and floors. The movers are fast and efficient and do not complain while meeting challenging tasks, such as moving heavy exercise equipment three floors by stairs or watching out for wallpaper and sconces in a very small and tight stairwell. They also listen well--moving items that should be moved, not moving items that should not be moved, and placing items where they belong or where I want them to go. While moving can be stressful, at least using these folks alleviates some of that inevitable stress.

These guys from H-Town Movers (Douglas and 3 crew members) did a fantastic job moving us from Downtown Houston out to Katy, Texas. I chose them because I had seen them moving one of our neighbors just weeks before. I liked how they were handling our neighbors move. They were on time and we had quite a bit of furniture and household goods to move. They did everything professionally and timely. There was another moving company at our complex moving a different tenant at the exact same time, so it took a little longer than expected to move with just one elevator and flight of stairs. The best movers Ive had in a long time!!! As soon as a they came they looked at my stuff and let me know how much time it would take then got to work. I will say that they were very careful with my wall mirrors (I have a lot of them) and took care of packing all of the small things that I didnt have time to pack. They also packed my shoe boxes in my closet that I was going to move the next day. I mean they took care of everything then finished earlier than they estimated. I would definitely recommend Manuel and his guys if you are moving and you dont have to worry about them being lazy and combative. I am totally happy with the whole process!!!!

Our move was started at 8:30am, and the empty truck pulled away from our new home at 11:28am. Mike, Jorge and Abelino were careful, efficient and very courteous. We are more than pleased with the care they took, and very grateful for their willingness to move my husbands boxes of vinyl records and music ephemera; they are a tad heavy.
