Horrible place to get your cars oil change, they did not screw the bolt for my oil on so my oil was leaking, my mechanic was caught this issue and tightened it before I lost more oil. Unprofessional place that will take advantage of you . Don’t waste your money here, If my mechanic didn’t catch this mistake my car’s engine could have been ruined. (In the photo you can see the leaked oil and the unscrewed bolt)

Dudes there were not very friendly. One guy was wearing an ankle monitoring device. They did do my inspection in a timely manner.

Poor Work, they were fast. DID NOTHING except the oil. If I did not ask to chk the break fluid it would not have happened. Not able to chk the air in my tires. Really.. Plenty more to add. If You Want to be Angry. Stop in. Would leave a Negative Review if I could. Be Afraid

It was fast, but they left my doors and hood open. I had to get out of the car and close the doors after they gave it back to me. Before I left the lot I had to stop, get out and close the hood. Small details, but they matter. I won’t go back if they don’t even care that I leave there safely.

Every single time I come here they are very professional and have reasonable cost.

Being going to this place for the better part of 15+ years. I went to get an state inspection on September 2020 and was greeted by the new manager who was more than quick to point out that my wiper blades were worn and bending ( wipers worked fine last time I used them ). Then He offered me a pair that he had in stock for $20. After I declined the offer They proceeded to inspect my vehicle anyways to inform me couple of minutes later that my vehicle failed due to bad wipers. The only way to do good business is to be honest and upfront with the customer. I truelly believe that this new manager set me up. I dont need special treatment but I appreciate honesty and people being upfront with me. Im Not going back to this place. Be cautious You have been warned.

Good system for oil change and minor repair issues

Never ever go here! They will damage your car!First off, they put the wrong oil in my car. 2017 Subaru crosstrek takes 0w20. They put 10w40 in, and then argued with me that is the right oil. Even though it is printed on the engine to use 0w20. They refused to change the oil to the correct oil. The guys refused to give me the managers or owners number.They didnt check anything else. Not the tires or filter. Not the fluids or tires at all.Now I have to go and spend another $70 to get the right oil put in my car. Imagine if I drove the recommended 7 thousand miles with the wrong oil in my car.Just horrible!

I came in for an inspection today and only 1 person was in front of me checking out. The guy said my tint was too dark so he would not do my inspection when he just did my truck a week ago with the same tint. He said that they didnt check last time so thats why he did my inspection. Funny thing is I have been going to them for over the past 5 years with all of the same tint from the dealer. Needless to say, that is the end of my business with them for all of my cars. Stay away unless you want inconsistent service.

I’m giving it one star because there is none lower. These people close shop earlier than there stated time. I called in advance and someone who sounded stoned answered. I asked if there was a cutoff time for doing state inspections and he said usually around 5:30PM. So I arrive at just 5:30 and guess what?You guessed it. They were closed. These folks have no sense of professionalism. They’re pathetic.

This place has always been quick and efficient! The people are pleasant! My husband and I have been coming here for years and will continue to come here!!

Pit Stop USA is a pleasure to do business with. I took my truck there for its annual emissions tests and from start to finish everyone there that addressed me were courteous and professional. It was a hot June day about 2pm with a 90 plus temperature outside but that never factored into their attitude. I have been doing business with them since 1992 and will continue to.For all those that have written negative reviews about Pit Stop USA, I question the validity of your remarks.

I used to go to this establishment every time I needed an oil change or inspection. However, when I went there recently (02/13), I pulled up to the bay where they perform oil changes and no one was outside to direct me into the bay. One person was leaning against some equipment and after a couple of minutes lapsed, he looked at me then yelled at someone in the lounge. A man came out and shuffled over to the bay to direct me into the shop. The entire time I was there no one spoke more than 5 words to me. It took twice as long as it used to take to get me into the bay and change the oil. Like I said, Ive been there in the past and they were always friendly and efficient with their service. This time was the complete opposite. The shop was a mess. When I stepped out of my truck to pay I almost slipped and fell because the floor was slick with oil residue. When they were done changing the oil, the attendant mumbled, you can back it out, turned and walked away before I even got in my vehicle. Bottom line, I wont return to this business for my car needs.

I dont know why the reviews are so low. I had an awesome experience today. I was in and out within 15 minutes, and the guys were super friendly and efficient!I will come back!

Ive gone to them over the years and theyve been fine but since they changed owners/name theyve become worse. This last week they punctured my oil filter by tightening it too much. I spent a week trying to find out where my leak was coming from only to find out it was them. I even specially told them to be careful with the filter so it doesnt get crushed.

Guys were extremely nice and very quick service!

DO NOT I repeat do not take your car here went to get an oil change and new filter got the oil change but did not get a new filter but they charged me for it. Employees here are shady AF. Take your car here AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Recently went 3 or 4 weeks ago.. the guys are cool.. oil change fast.. but my car has been leaking oil since then.. took my 2014 impala to the dealership today & found out whomever changed my oil at this Pit Stop did not replace my oil pan/gasket correctly.. visit at your own risk..

Went a couple of days ago to have them check my transmission fluid level and ended up getting my car inspected! The fellows there were very courteous, especially Vernon. I had been having trouble closing the driver side door so I had begun crawling across the seat to exit the passenger side. He took a look at it and found that the pins in the panel werent attached to the door so he attached them for me at no charge! THANKS VERNON!! YOU ROCK!!

They forgot to put the oil cap back on my girlfriends vehicle and she drove it around losing oil for almost a week when she noticed it was smelling really bad. When I checked it and noticed they hadnt put the oil cap back on, I checked and the oil level was below what would even show up on the dipstick. I bought oil filled it up and called them the next day. The guy was incredibly rude and said hed clean up the oil that had sloshed around everywhere but thats all theyd do. We live an hour away so we werent going to do that and he said well I cant help you then and hung up. I called back and asked to speak to the owner and he said Not going to happen and hung up again. At no point did I ever raise my voice or be rude in even the slightest way. All I ever did was explain to him what happened. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Its just not worth it.

Drive up needing an oil change and inspection. Have used them before. 4 guys shooting hoops and not a single bay being used. I pull into a side spot and one dude with a basketball in his hand makes a funny hand motion that I dont understand. I get out and say, Im here for an oil change and inspection. His response, okay, but youre double parked and I need you to straighten up. LOL. I was the only customer and if they werent going to get to my car immediately, so if I have to take the time to straighten up my car Im outta there. LMFAO. IDIOTS.

Ive been going to this location for a few years and have been satisfied with the service until now! Today they lost a customer! Since last week I have been trying to get my inspection sticker after it failed. They told me I had 15 days to come back without getting charged again. So last week I went twice and they were closed before 6pm. Yet their info on the web shows hours Monday - Friday open from 8am to 6pm closed on Saturday and Sunday. So why was no one there at 5:45pm yesterday on 1/12/2015 ? I also went last week showed up 5:45pm twice and they were already closed!Today I left work early and call before I showed up and asked what time they closed and the guy told me 6:00pm. I hurried up to get there and made it at 5:30pm and to my surprise they were closed! I called the shop and asked what time they closed and guy (Tony, so he called himself) then tells me today at 5:30 of course I was furious! I informed the guy (Tony) that he had told me 6pm and then he decides to close at 5:30 today! He didnt even apologized all he said was what do you want me to do? Were closed! the owner of the shop told us we close if its slow to save money on manpower! So MANAGEMENT, I say to you while you are trying to save money on manpower you are losing customers! That means you are losing money as well! I will go else where to do my oil changes and my inspection stickers! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

I brought a vehicle for inspection and oil change at 10380 Jones Rd Houston, TX 77065.During the drive back home, engine oil was leaking everywhere and smoke came out.It seems like technicians forgot to put engines cap on or there could be more issue. Oil was smoked and splash around the car. Luckily the car was not burned.I called store and technician refused to come over to look at my vehicle.

I would give this place a zero or no star if possible. Took it in for an oil change, mileage was at 161,245. I noticed some leaks here and there but thought nothing of it because I live in an apartment complex so its hard to tell if its mine. Fast forward to yesterday afternoon, my car smelled like hot/burnt oil when on the highway, car started jerking heavy when accelerating, it turned out I had no oil and my car was running on fumes of oil. I immediately parked my car and looked under and I found my oil filter was loose and worst of all the oil drain plug had fallen off. This place does not provide quality service and I regret ever trusting them, I always figured that an oil change was easy, but for Pit Stop USA its the equivalent of Rocket Science. Hoping I can post photos for additional proof.

Agree with the most recent poster. They recently changed ownership and even though we were happy with their service in the past, we will no longer go there. The service quality has noticeably declined. They charged me for a synthetic oil change ($80) when my car uses a synthetic blend. They should know what dexos means when they see it on the cap. On our other car we let them flush the radiator and within a few days we were having problems with it overheating. We had NO problems prior to their work.

They dont even know about how motorcycles light work. I was tell to go away after I try to tell them how it works. OMG. Stay away from this place.

Hay I think they are ripping people off. 45.00 for the oil change. They need new people their. A lady employee was their smoking a cigarette when I went. One guy their just look not friendly at all. Another guy pull up from lunch. Houston Business.

Technicians are irresponsible kids and screw things up. I took my daughters car there, and they managed to screw up the oil filter cartridge while putting it on. The gasket was not put on correctly, and the car spewed oil everywhere on her way back to College Station. Her engine almost burned up because of technician mistake. I had to send her to another shop and explain to the guy to carefully take the oil filter off, change it and refill the engine with oil. There was a huge mess, and no oil left in the engine. Sorry technicians got lazy and didnt replace all the screws in the skid plate either. Its now only held on by 4 screws out of 8 total. Stay away from this sorry place!

Horrible place. Disrespectful employees, liars and will try whatever lie to get your money. MY STORYI went to get my inspection done. The guy that did it came to me and said I needed a wiper! I told him go on and do it. Then he came to me again and told me that now I needed a gas cap! I told him that I would come back with it fixed. He said I had 15 days. I asked him if the car needed anything else, I asked him 3 times. He said that just the gas cap. I came back on the 7th day. The guy wasnt there so another man tend to me in a very rude and disrespectful way. I told him what happened and he proceeded to do the inspection, he got in and said that the check engine light was on. And I told him that yes it has been on for about 2 months cause Im missing one engine mount (has nothing to do with inspection) he proceeded and then says I need an air sensor, I showed him the receipt that I had recently fixed that, he then said well you need to get it fixed again and that the first guy wasnt supposed to do the inspection with the check engine light on ( he still did) I explained to him that the previous guy said I only needed the gas cap! He said that wasnt his problem. He then said go to the mechanic that fixed the sensor and ask him what happened. I told him that I could do that, but due to work and travel I couldnt go within the 7 remaining days. He said, do it and I promise you that I will take your car after those 15 days. I came back, nothing was wrong with the car, it was supposed to pass inspection. I talked to BRYAN who states to be the owner and boss. He said that he remembers me but that I have to pay again cause the 15 days passed. I talked to him and he remembered yet he was really disrespectful and said either you pay for the inspection now or leave. And walked away while I was talking to him. I walked towards him and said it was disrespectful the way he was talking to me and he just kept going around the shop ignoring me completely, like I wasnt even there! Please dont read just my review, as you can see this is a really bad place that should shut down. Most of all for their disrespectfulness.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. Took my wifes car there about 2 months ago and found out today that they didnt tightened down the oil cap. So turns out her car was slowly leaking oil all this time.

The last oil change I got they didnt tighten the oil filter and I didnt find out until my next oil change when the dipstick was dry and I had a cam sync sensor error (could have been very costly). Plus, when I almost went to them today at 4:50pm, their oil change guy had already left for the day. Slack service from slack workers.

Stay away from this place unless you are up for some ghetto service. They do not respect their business hours. Last time I was turned away and bluntly told to We are having lunch...come back in an hour if you want. They had about 4 techs on site, all having lunch at the same time with the business door open. Obviously, they are not interested in keeping their customer base. But to be honest, the place is run down and ugly, it does seem like they need more customers.Please make yourself a favor and save some aggravation, just go to any of the other shops in the area with professional level service and much better facilities. It costs the same!

Im giving it a one star because there is no zero option. Ever since Mr. Lincoln passed away customer service has gone down the toilet. Under Lincolns management this place would have stayed open until 6 PM their advertised closing time no matter how slow they were. Now they have no problem closing at 5:30pm. If its not that then they have some problem with their computer or whatever that will only allow them to accept cash.Today I came across a boy who works there who demonstrated that showing pride in your work doesnt exit their anymore. I gave him a piece of my mind. He deserved it. Needless to say Im not going there anymore.

This happened around a year ago..Took my wifes 2010 equinox with the 2.2 engine. These have a cartridge filter under the hood. I noticed the tech didnt spend much time under the hood, so when I got home I checked the filter and found it had not been changed...i dropped in a new one and went back for my refund. This place is TRASH.

They over filled my vehicle with oil and then when I showed them on the dip stick they unprofessionally argued to the point I took my vehicle somewhere else and had them redo it.

Got my oil changed here they put on the wrong oil filter the next day popped off while I was driving and it cost me a $120 to get all the oil cleaned up in new oil filter in. When approached with bill in hand for repair cost They refused to make it right.
