Do NOT under any circumstances go here. I took my car in yesterday as it was acting funny and the check engine light was on. They told me that the air filter and the mass airflow sensor needed to be replaced. They were going to charge me $960 for these items plus labor!!!!! I am so glad my gut told me this was ridiculous. I left and took it down the street to another shop and they TOLD ME AND SHOWED ME that both items were in perfectly great condition. My air filter wasnt even dirty in the slightest!!!! I cannot believe they were going to rip me off almost $1,000 for nothing. Sickening. I will never trust this place again. Do yourself a favor and if they try to tell you something needs to be replaced take it elsewhere for a second opinion. I forgot to add they will charge you $180 just to do the car diagnostic when other places only charge about $80-90. Absolutely crazy!!!! Terrible customer service - They clearly do not care about their customers...Forgot to mention...the bad customer service was the MANAGER named Stan. Not the employees! That is even worse!
In and out quickly for a state inspection, text alerts when the car was done, as painless as could be.
I come in for a state inspection and I come out with a list of “issues” with my three year old less than 18k mileage car. I declined the bogus excuses provided and went to my regular mechanic. He confirmed everything I thought. They were just trying to charge me for things I did not need. I will NEVER come back to this establishment again. It’s really hard to find good reliable, trustworthy auto repair shops with integrity.****update****The GM did reach out to me and made everything right. I first rated this a one star now I gave it three after speaking with the GM.
The best service and the all the people who work there are very friendly! Just moved from Ohio to Houston Texas and my car has been having a ton of problems. It has been in and out of a shop for months with never finding the problem. I thought my car had finally given out and decided to tow it to the nearest auto repair place. Thank goodness I found this place! They took my car and found all the problems and fixed it within a day. I can tell a huge difference when driving and feel safe! I will only be going here from now on for all of my auto care needs.
Well I was there when my oil light was bleaking, they charged me around $1100 for the work they did and told me that everything is fine.. The next day it started bleaking again and I again visited them and was informed that the sensor is not working and now I have to change that. So I am thinking what was wrong the first time. They are just reaping you off. Dont go there.
We took both our cars for state inspections. Made the bookings online and had no problems with that. The inspections were done promptly. However they offered to replace a filter to my wife’s car and she said yes. 2hrs later, her car was still not ready and that’s when they informed her they didn’t have the part in stock and had to get it from who knows where. She had to wait another hr for her car.
This is the second time Ive used their services but the first time I was so very impressed I returned a second time...I will continue to use them as my first choice...thanks especially the young man Oscar
I ask were they BBB accredited the guy said yes i google them and they were not .. that’s a red flag right there i read some of there reviews and see why, the guy straight up lied to me and plus they have some bad reviews.
This place is amazing and everyone one was super friendly
This place is under new management and is a night and day different from its old crew. I stopped by for a quick oil change and they got in and out in 20 mins.. Im super impressed with William and his service as he made me feel welcomed and appreciated my business. Would definitely recommend
This place is so professional and nice Mr William Cartwright is very helpful and knowledgeable he is awesome very professional thanks to him I will be coming back for my general repairs such as oil changes. He made me feel welcomed, comfortable and valued as a customer that is very important to me..Keep up the great work Mr William Cartwright what an awesome job you do...
I went in for an oil change and an inspection. Upon arrival I asked the wait and they said there was none. After sitting for an hour I asked at the front desk and the manager said to give them 10 more minutes. 20 minutes later I see my van being pulled into a service bay. An hour and 40 minutes after arrival they are done and the same manager tells me that soon my engine will stop running because my valve cover is leaking oil into the spark plug holes and that I need a valve cover and plugs. Knowing I changed the valve cover gasket earlier this year I politely declined. My car had a minor rattle on the way home and when I got home I saw that the bolts on the top engine cover (the cover has to be removed when changing the oil) were left loose. Since I already had to pull out my 10mm I took the cover the rest of the way off pulled the 3 front coil packs and I looked around the front 3 plug cavities I could see without taking the intake manifold off and they were dry and spotless. The back three plugs cant be inspected without major disassembly even with a borescope. No gasket or repairs needed. If I wasnt car savvy I would have spent the big bucks and be concerned that my engine would stop running. I wasnt going to leave a review but this morning I get a call asking what time I want to bring in my car to have the valve cover gaskets replaced. When I said no thanks and to take me off the calling list they hung up on me before I finished speaking. This place is a big nope for me.
Williams customer service was excellent! After a long road trip, My car started showing problems. I expected a long, terrible day at the auto shop. But the staff was knowledge and efficient in diagnosing and repairing my vehicle. William visually showed us the missing/lose part and the tested battery results. He had us out within 40 mins. Great service, friendly and customer oriented.
I took my car here after making an appointment for my yearly state inspection. After waiting 2 hours, the lady at the front desk came to get me in a state of panic after inspecting my car.She claimed she didnt know how I was alive after looking at my brakes. She said I was at risk of my brakes failing at any point! She told me that not only did I need new brake fluid, but I also needed new front pads, a new battery, and that my brake fluid cap was missing. (Which is strange considering the only place I have taken my car in the last 2 years is Drivers Auto). After breaking down the cost to fix all of this, I was looking at a bill just under $900. A little skeptical, considering I drove a 2017 Nissan, and had no issues with my brakes, I declined the services hoping to get a second opinion. The lady at the front desk failed my state inspection because of my brakes and after another 30 minutes of waiting, my car was finally brought out front.I wanted a second opinion, so I took my car to the Nissan dealership. I asked them to check my brakes as well as inspect my car for the state inspection. Not only did they not mention ANYTHING about my battery, all they recommended was changing my brake fluid because it was dirty. They said I could technically change my brake pads if I wanted to be proactive, but they would be good until my next oil change. The man also offered to put a new fluid cap on for no charge! These services were less that $200 compared to $900 from Drivers Auto.Still nervous at what I had been told at Drivers Auto, I told the man at the Nissan Dealership what Drivers Auto had told me. And he insisted that they did not find anything else wrong with my brake system besides the brake fluid being in need of replacement. The woman at the front desk is very dishonest & had me believing that I was at risk of killing myself, and anyone else on the road if I did not get my car repaired immediately. If you are a young female, DO NOT bring your vehicle here. After reading some more reviews, it seems they attempt to trick women who may not know much about cars. As I was going to write this review, I saw a similar review written THE SAME DAY I had my experience with them. Please look elsewhere.I would LOVE my $25 for my state inspection refunded!
This place is truly amazing with great customer service. First time coming here and it won’t be the last
It was my first time going there today and the experience was wonderful. William was super nice, funny and updated me on everything that was going on. The wait wasn’t long either and the staff made the experience enjoyable.
The customer service was excellent. The work was performed in a timely manner. Case did an excellent job replacing my brakes and rotors. My car runs much better now. Stan did a very good job explaining the needed repairs.
To all who it may concern, I really wanted a place to fix my car a BMW X5. I lived close by so checked the reviews and dropped it off here. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I had an issue with my coolant level going low and my radiator hoses needed to be changed. When I got my car back, the door windows were damaged, and could no longer go up or down. The company took no responsibility and wanted to charge be 400+ For a fix even after I paid 900 to change my entire radiator. Funny story a day later my car overheats due to the issue I took my car in for. I had to tow my car to my mechanic. William in the front desk is a decent guy but the mechanics in the back will ruin your car. Please do not go hear I’m not sure how there’s good reviews .Quick Edit: Theyll ask for your contact information to help you out but they never contacted me, automatic replies for google reviews. They offered me a free oil change for repairs of almost 1000 dollars.
I called prior to coming to this business and asked about pricing because I didnt want maintenance that was too expensive. Andrea said they would give a free diagnostic and then give me a final price of the maintenance. Upon arrival, I found out that it was not a free diagnostic. The diagnostic is $149 if you do not get your car repaired with them. Needless to say, maintenance was an additional $3000 just to get my car fixed. If I knew maintenance would be so high, I would have never came here. Please stop false advertising and start being honest with your customers. Nothing is free, I GET THAT, but start actually have phone operators who are giving the right pricing over the phone so we wont waste our time.
Brought my car there it was too low to get on the lift. Not their fault. They were all very generous and helpful. Just wish they’d maybe consider getting a low car friendly lift in the future.
Absolutely fantastic experience at Driver’s Auto Repair today. I needed brake replacement, brake fluid flush and new battery all in same day service and all thanks to Lauren. Lauren is a rock star offering excellent service going over and above. Driver’s Auto Repair is now my repair shop of choice. Thank you again Lauren for the seamless and honest service, I feel good giving my car repair business to someone I can trust. I will be back and pass on the good word! Job well done.
Ms. Andrea was great. She kept me informed about my car and what process they took to fix it. I definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here.
Lauren and Lawrence are honestly some of the best people working in this shop! Great attitudes, joyful and very respectful.I actually witnessed two guys back to back have a really bad attitude over something so small and they handled the attitudes very maturely!Definitely worth making sure they continue working here. They bring great energy and I’m a repeating customer! :)
I was pushed for time. I walked in and explained my situation and was in and out within 35 minutes. Very professional and promp. I will return for further car needs.
I was helped by Lauren. Let me start off by saying she provided excellent customer service. She was honest and transparent. I don’t know what these people are talking about with the latest reviews but I felt as though Lauren was thorough and not pushy at all. My safety was her concern. I really appreciate her concern about my safety and my cars wellbeing. Let me add this, I WILL BE BACK FOR FUTURE SERVICES.
Quick service, answered any questions I had.
Lauren did an amazing job. She made sure i was taken care of and also made sure that she discussed with me my other car concerns. This is her 2nd time helping me at this location and i will say that she is an amazing worker and has excellent knowledge about your services and products. Keep up the great work!
Trying to sell you what you need with over price, please check with other get estimates before you move forwardSales person is really friendly and helpful
If there was a way to give this place 0 stars I would. I went here a few months ago to get a new battery which seemed to be done correctly, until a day later when my car would not start. I brought it back and was told that they neglected to tighten a few screws and that caused the battery to momentarily fail. Annoying, but an easy fix so i thought nothing of it. A week later when my car would not start for the third time, I learned they not only did not tighten said screw correctly, but the part was so worn it needed to be replaced - which they had neglected to inform me of. I brought the car back and even had to explain to the “technician” what the problem was because he was attempting to provide me an entirely new battery which was not necessary and would cost me hundreds of dollars. This was the first issue.Since I was already there and needed an inspection done I asked for this as well. They informed me that because my battery had issues, i needed to drive my car around for 200 miles and return it to finish the inspection at no charge. With 200 miles being a large amount of miles to drive in the middle of a pandemic when we are all still quarantined, it took me a little over 2 weeks to complete this. I brought the car back today and was informed that because it had been over 15 days since the failed inspection, i would have to pay for it again. This was something that the GENERAL MANAGER Lauren did not inform me of when she was rushing me out of the door 2 weeks ago due to how busy they were that day. Her associate Kevin also did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation, despite the fact that the entire reason for the failed inspection in the first place was because of THEIR inability to install the battery correctly the first 2 times. This is now 4 separate times i have had to return to this shop because the services were not performed correctly. Customer service is terrible. Vehicle service is wildly sub-par. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING ITS NOT WORTH IT.
Just a mechanic but alot of customers reviews are bias the bad reviews have no merits aslong as Ive worked here some customers neglect their cars and expect one repair to fix their whole car. I feel sorry for shops and the customers they deal with its out of character. Neglected cars is not our fault. What you bought and I dont blame you for your lack of knowledge 💯 Its about being more informed before you buy for long-term
We went there to get only a state inspection. I don’t need to be told we should pay an extra 159$ for coolant. they tried to get me alone to show me around my car so i could pay for something i couldn’t afford and they kept pressing it. it was unprofessional and if someone says no then it’s no. Stop pushing sales so hard! ( people like them take advantage of women)
Love the professionalism here. The staff is very well versed in the language of cars. Although I was there to get just an oil change, they informed me of other problems they caught while performing the change. I appreciate the fact that they offer a value deal on oil changes with the 5 pack high mileage redemption. Saves time and money. And thats why Ill definitely be bringing my baby back to this establishment. They have earned my repeat business!
Had my inspection done. Lauren was AMAZING! Explained everything in layman’s terms and wasn’t condescending. Went through everything my car needed. Scheduled follow up appt to get things done!!
Lauren is incredibly professional, I was there almost 2 weeks ago and she explained whats wrong with my car to the point she really knows what shes talking about and lets me know the cost right away.Ive been here a few times already and had great service each time, just spoke with Rich over the phone and he was very professional to and more than willing to help.I never had a bad experience and each time I leave my car runs great.Edited: Never had a bad experience and I was just here yesterday, they fixed my horn and did a oil change. Im always happy with the services, I never have a long wait time either, Ive never been here for more than 2 hours.
Lauren is awsome! She has great customer service and is super nice! She took care of me for my oil change and serpentine belt change. Will definitely recommend Drivers auto repair
Outrageous pricing.Stopped by on a Friday, tired after work, because of the convenience of how close they are to my home. My AC died and I needed an opinion. They quoted the repair at $2850, which seemed too much for this. So I declined and went to a Nissan dealer and they priced the same repair for $1300, parts labor and tax included.More than double the dealers price!!! Insane. Never ever coming to this place again.
The staff and Management team is what makes this place a pleasure to work with. The service was flawless to say the least. I appreciate the knowledge of the team and how detailed they are at explaining things. Great Experience!!
If I could give 10 ⭐️ I would!! Lauren and Rich have incredible customer service. I ran into a problem with my car not starting and I assumed it was due to some recall work I had at the dodge dealership. Long story short....after a week of the dealership having my car & getting the runaround, I had my car towed to Drivers Auto on Briar Forest. They not only figured out the problem but beat the cost of repairs that the dealership was assuming was the problem but couldn’t give me an exact reasoning of why my car wouldn’t start. Lauren and Rich took action quickly and had my car up and running within a day of having my car brought to them.I’ve had repairs done over the summer and now, with them always being efficient and knowledgeable with my vehicle. Thank you Lauren and Rich for going above and beyond to get me back up & running again.
Lauren & Rich provided excellent service. I was shown what was wrong with my car so they can make sure I knew I wasn’t being lied to. Prices are good & my car was finished in a timely manner. I highly recommend!
Great Service. Timely manner.
Very very slow service it took 2 1/2 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. There was only one other person there other than me getting a vehicle serviced. The service lady was nice and helpful, but the other service front desk person was rarely available, let three potential customers walk because he wasn’t present. The service was OK they did what they needed to do but every time I’ve been here it takes forever to get anything done. That was my mistake and I will never come here again.
As usual great team, great staff, friendly and welcoming environment
EDIT: When we returned to junk our vehicle the same manager forgot he charged us and tried to make me pay for the lyft they gave my fiance, which is suppose to be free when you have work done on your car. Once I stood my ground on that saying we paid for work even though nothing got done, I was not charged for the lyft once they finally found my receipt. The owner/ Regional Manager, Brian, came out to speak with us while we waited. He wanted to hear us out and made us feel heard which was nice of him. Some of the excuses for the poor service was challenging. The GM made up the storage fee of $20 because he did not know if there was an actual storage fee. But we expected the owner to defend his employee, thats understandable. Brian also added that, the way the GM was speaking to my fiance was his form of joking around, being sexist as a form of comedy has fallen out of popularity in the real world.Additionally, he refunded us and told us the general manager will be coached on how to interact with clients. Brian also offered us two free oil changes for our other vehicle. So, in the end, Brian was extremely kind and caring ensuring we left feeling heard and happy. If I could add my two cents, in the customer service world we aim to match the clients energy. If the client is outgoing and bubbly, the salesperson is outgoing and bubbly. If the client is straight to the point and matter of fact, the salesperson should emulate that. Finally, women do not like to be told to smile, its deeming, nor being told they are being too serious. IF you wouldnt ask a man to smile or tell him he has a serious face then you shouldnt talk to a woman like that. Thanks to the interaction with Brian Id give the total experience, 3/5.End of Edit. The manager of the building was extremely sexist towards my fiance. He couldnt fathom a woman needing car repair without a huge smile on her face for him, as if she would have planned to have car issues just to see him. He told her, You have such a serious face. and Its your face, its just so serious. I dont know about yall but no one goes to an auto repair shop with a smile. When my fiance went to call me to talk about our options and our best course of action he assumed she did not have a way to pay, Your man should have given you the credit card. So if you love to be generalized and treated like trash this guy and his business is perfect for you.We went there two months ago for an oil change and they neglected to tells us we have rusting below our frame that could cause serious issues. Now here we are needing $2,000 worth of repairs, the car will not run and the rusting is going to cause more massive issues. It would have been handy to know that information two months ago so we could plan for our next vehicle. After this news we were informed that it would be a waste of money to get the car fix because we would need more work done. So taking this professionals word for it, we need to look into getting a new car and junking this one. He informed us if no repaired would be done he would charge us for looking at the car because his employees only get paid by the repairs they do...So if no one comes in, his employees dont get paid? A business like this has no business being open. I have come here for some quick fixes like brakes and oil changes but thats done. I hope the manager googles, how to respect women and learns to treat potential long-term clients with respect.Go to this business at your own risk.Edit: One more detail I forgot, we never received a receipt or a quote for our transaction thus making us acutely aware we were pretty much robbed. We were charge a storage fee even though the car was not mobile, not worth paying for repairs, and they gave zero recommendations to have the car towed either to a junk yard or to our home.
If I could give -5 stars I would do. Paid a 5 times oil change package back in November and lost the cardboard, I provided evidence of the package bought and they refuse to do my oil change without the cardboard. This is insane. Beside this the day I left the shop on November they told me my tire sensor was broken and that’s why keeps giving me the tire pressure sign on the dash. I went home put some air in the tires and went off. So obviously they did not check the tires as the package said they would.Keep yourself away from this place
I went in and immediately was asked to make a reservation for another day. I made a reservation for the next day, but fail to show up because my wife forgot. They were very accommodating and friendly. So we had to re schedule for, yet again, the following day. So here is where the problems begin. My wife took the vehicle for a simple car inspection, which normally takes 15 minutes, and waited over an hour. Only to find out that there where 6 people ahead of her. I don’t appreciate their lack of transparency. If they are busy then them as a business should let you know a estimate of when you vehicle will be ready. Not make you wait over an hour jus to tell you there is still 6 people ahead of you. Then why make you have an appointment. Sadly they have very nice receptionist staff but their lack of transparency is where they loose me as a costumer.
My first time here, and I had a fantastic experience! Lauren and Jonathan are wonderful people. They made sure I was taken care of, and talk about customer service!! Truly outstanding. I recommend anyone to come here. They will work with you even if times are hard for you financially. Thank you Driver’s Auto Repair for your services.
Lauren and Brian WERE AMAZING at assisting me with my car service. I’ve been using Driver’s Auto for years now and this is the first time I’ve felt completely to leave a review. Thank you both for your customer service, professionalism and respect towards your customers. It’s very appreciated!
Lauren was AWESOME. I will come back as long as shes there. She explained and showed me everything that the last shop I went do did not do.
I went to have my car inspected and was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and friendliness I experienced. I’ll definitely be back.
Kevin was amazing!! They did an excellent and quick job! Definitely recommend 👍🏻
Great customer service. Nice people. Professional.
Lauren was absolutely great and got me together and everything I needed done on my car. I really appreciate her.
Best place to get your car maintenance! Big thanks to Lauren because she went above and beyond to make sure my car was done right. Very friendly and good vibes auto shop which is hard to find nowadays!
Lauren and Lawrence were friendly and professional. I highly recommend anyone to visit them at the Briar Forrest location. I’m coming back next weekend to get my brakes done. Top notch all the way around!
Greg was professional, informative, and to the point. Service was excellent and quick. Will return and highly recommend!
First time here. So far quite satisfied.Im updating my review; after my previous break service, the caliper mounting bolts got damaged and when I took the car back they attempted to take no responsibility in the matter stating that the break job has nothing to do with the bolts (go figure). After complaining with their customer service they did the right thing and credited me for the bolt-fixing job. So I praise them for their handling on the matter. However, the mechanics trust has been tainted and will not do future business with them.
Lauren was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was professional, fixed my car quickly and gave me a great deal. She’s honestly the main reason I come back!
Updated: 12/04/2020 - Lauren and Rich were outstanding!!They were able to inform of options that were made available to me in fixing my car at a reasonable price and conducted the whole experience in a professional manner. I highly recommend Drivers Auto Repair.Customer service was great. Jonathan was knowledgeable about my concerns and addresssd them immediately. The pricing was decent and the package they offered was unbeatable. I highly recommend this place.
I brought my car to this shop because my car was leaking coolant and overheating. After a diagnosis. I was told that I needed to fix numerous things costing almost 3000 dollars. I told Lauren the manager that I just wanted to repair just the things needed to have my car running and not the maintenance work. It still costed me 1200. I was also Coerced to make those repairs. I was at work when I got her call. I told her I don’t know if I wanted to have them working on my car because I felt like they were over charging. I was told that I couldn’t leave my car with them unless I was getting work done. I told her I had no way to come and get the car at the moment and was told that I would have to pay a storage fee or I could pay to have it towed somewhere else. It seems like all they want is your money. After I picked up the car they turned on the car for me and said I was ready to go. I only drove the car across the street and parked it. And a few hours later I tried to start it but it wouldn’t car at all. I had someone come look at it and told I had a blown gasket from a coolant leak and basically rid my engine. Keep in mind I came a few months prior to get a coolant test and was told all I needed was coolant in my engine. I have water in my engine. Now my car is sitting in my parking not working and I have no means of transportation. I brought my car running and able to turn on and off but got it back not able to start. The work they said they did wasn’t truly done and they still wanting to charge me with no resolution. I don’t recommend this place. They will mess up your car. And the manager is very very rude. I will be speaking to my lawyer.
Inspection. Friendly atmosphere recommendations were on target. I will return
David was professional and quick with my inspection. Kudos for the awesome customer service.
Speedy service, nice and helpful staff.
Went in for State Inspection, guys were quick, helpful, knowledgeable and got the job done! Will definitely return in the future!
Ms.Lauren she always been a great help since the very first day I walk in,very friendly, great customer service love going to them
The is the first time Ive been there under the management of Lauren Edwards and I have to say this was the best experience in the 5 years ice been using Drivers Auto Repair. Very professional, clean and thorough. AWESOME
Staff are very friendly and professional, gave me nice welcome and comfort. I had a great time over there. Definitely come back again.
Excellent customer service. Lauren and her staff are very professional and do great work. I will definitely take my care here again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Stopped in to make an appointment on Tuesday afternoon and experienced excellent customer service. Wednesday morning I was promptly greeted and my vehicle was written up by Lauren E. Who was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the entire experience.
The Manager Lauren and service person Lawrence were very professional, courteous and thorough. I am very pleased with the service I received and I will recommend this particular location to all of my family and friends.
The staff has always been nice to and treated me fairly when I come in for business. Mr. Rich and Ms. Lauren are AWESOME! Outside of my dealership, they will ALWAYS get my business!
Lauren is great! I mean absolutely an awesome person!! Talk about customer service to it’s finest! She’s caring and patient. She will go out her way to see that the customer is informed, and taken care of. If you come here, ask for Lauren! She will ensure that you’re taken care of! You will leave satisfied and at peace. And not to mention, they have a great team of experts. If your car has a problem, they’ll fix it for sure! I always know that I’m in good hands.
Everyone was nice. Clean, fast, and informative.
Drivers Auto Repair and GM Lauren are the best !! I called them to have my transmission fixed asking with brakes and not only did they get it done, but I didnt have to pay anything out of pocket before I got my car back. Lauren connected me with loan companies to assist with the payment and I couldnt be more gratified with my experience.
Jonathan was great. Overall their entire staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. I always use drivers auto for any repairs to my vehicle. Thanks again Jonathan for securing my safety and taking the extra steps to making sure that I was satisfied with everything.
Lauren Edwards was very professional and kind! She was also very patient and I was very pleased with her service!
Lauren is the worst manager I ever experienced in my life. This company charges way to be for service. They price gouge everything. I had the worst experience ever coming here. Lauren is very rude twice she was thst way towards me. Update. Brian the regional manager was very helpful and refunded me my money. Lauren has to go, she called the cops on me and said she was in fear of her life all because I asked for a refund for my money.
Lauren is very helpful and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything to me and allowed me to make an informed decision about my vehicle.
2018 I payed for a new AC unit. I had the standard warranty that covered however many miles or 5 years. 2 years later my AC breaks again so I go back as im still under warranty, having used less than half the mile limit and being less than half into my 5 years. After taking over a week to track my work order from 2018, they only covered half of the repair despite the warranty, and I have to pay the other half out of pocket. When I asked them why I should pay at all when I had already paid the entire price of the part only 2 years before, they told me that was what they could do for me, and I was free to leave and get the part repaired elsewhere if I chose. I mentioned that my concern was that, in another 2 years, the part would break again and I would have to come in and pay for half of the initial price once again. This would mean that in the course of 4 years I would have paid for the same repair twice over. I was assured this would not happen. I told them I was assured the first time that the part would not break but here we are, so how can I feel assured? I was told because you have a 5 year warranty.. I told them I already have the warranty and I still have to pay for half the initial price! It was reiterated that I was free to leave and get the work done elsewhere.I told them to do the work. Less than a year later my AC dies.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.Moral of the story; Dont be a chump. Your money speaks. Do not support this business, nor any that operate with such an irresponsible, callous disregard for their customers. This is how we can control terrible business practices in a capitalistic society. Starve them.
Very professional service.
I came here to get my car worked on last month spent 800 dollars just for me to have to come back again the following month for them to tell me that I need to give them an additional 800 dollars because my vail cap or something like that was leaking plus they tried to charge me 250 just to replace my battery when I told them no, and that I will not be giving them 250 just to replace a battery and i got a second opinion on the leak she told me that I needed to get fixed Lauren the manger then proceeded to tell me to get off work and come pick my car up ASAP and that it could not sit in their lot any longer or I would be charged. I do not recommend this place all they want is your money, they do not care about you or your car. once I picked my car up they didn’t even tightened the battery back in right. my new mechanic was able to almost just pick the battery out of my car I am very upset with the service provided being that I was a customer that has given them over 2000 dollars of my hard earned money.
I used to change oil in the shop and only cost me about $20 with coupons. This time it cost me almost $120 because they changed oil type without asking me in advance, and they rejected my coupon without telling me in advance, the reason they told me is the coupon is not accepted during Xmas, but this was not mentioned anywhere in the coupon I would postpone the maintenance 1-2 weeks if I know coupons wont be accepted during the holiday. Anyway, maintenance was done pretty well, only thing is it cost me much more than I expected without proper communication in advance. Hope this can be improved.
Jonathan and Lauren took good care of me! They were very informative and kind. The service was so great, I’ll be coming back regularly to service my Jeep!!!
Warning..... Warning..... Warning...... If you love your car stay away from this place. They do not fix cars, but they sure know how to brake them! Please beware of this place!!!! Take your car anywhere but this place! You will regret it.
Everyone there was so friendly and made sure i was very well taken care of, especially the lady in the front with the beautiful curls. Sadly, I didn’t catch her name, but PLEASE make sure she is acknowledged for her greatness! She went above and beyond and helped me out tremendously! By far the best visit I’ve had here
Jonathon and Lauren were absolutely amazing- very helpful and honest about all maintenance and service that needed to be done on my car. Would highly recommend. Customer service was outstanding- which made my day!
I just wanted to share my experience with Drivers. I visited Friday for an inspection and a quick check on my AC. This ended up taking over 2 1/2 hours. I woke up the next morning to a dead battery and called a local mechanic to check it out. He told me the mechanic who worked on my car had not properly reconnected the battery after looking at the AC component. After jumping the battery, I thought all was well. It wasnt until a few hours later that I realized my brake lights remained on, even after turning off my car. I took it to another mechanic down the street, who realized that part of the brake pedal switch had been completely broken during the inspection performed by the Drivers mechanic. Unbeknownst to me, my brake lights were on from the moment I left Drivers, staying on overnight and draining the battery, then remaining on throughout the day.A simple inspection performed by the Drivers mechanic ended up costing me over $100 in additional diagnostic/repair work. While I understand that mistakes can be made, I am very disappointed with my overall experience.
Lauren and Rick was the best people we ever work with very professional great personality and awesome customer service they was so helpful I will Definitely be going back again
The general manager, Lauren, was super informative and told me all the details of what was going on with my car and what they suggested. She was very transparent and I appreciate that. The front office was so friendly and that always makes the experience better when you were getting your car fixed. I will definitely be back next time I need something done to my car.
My latest car I bought as a fairly new preowned vehicle. I took great car of this car. Made sure that I kept up with the schedule maintenance, regular oil change, and basically had the car fully checked out whenever I got a regular oil change. Now, because of my history with Drivers Automotive I was a little skeptical. However, the shop that had been doing my regular oil change was going up on their prices and so i decided to try drivers because of their coupons. Now I new my car was in PRISTINE condition to which the gentlemen at Driver’s confirmed. Being optimistic, I decide to try them again. Now this time, same guy, didn’t find anything necessarily wrong but he had some “recommendations” of services that he thought I could use for my car (coolant flush, power steering wheel flush, etc.) to which would cost me well over $500. I declined because I knew it wasn’t time yet for those services. Shortly after this oil change, I’ve notice that my car started vibrating a little bit whenever I put it into gear. I thought nothing of it at first but gradually it started to get worse. So I was coming home from work one day and decided to drop it off at Drivers seeing that they were still open. Come to find out, I needed motor mounts. Instantly my antennas went up because in my mind I’m thinking, here we go again. Of course it was damn near $1,000 to repair but luckily my warranty was going to cover it. Suspicious of having drivers conducting this service, I was going to schedule an appointment with the dealership and take it there, however, the gentlemen at drivers insisted that if I dropped my car off that evening they would have it completed tomorrow morning. Again, should’ve went with my first mind but I let them do it. They didn’t have it completed the next day morning, as a matter of fact, it was closed to EOB when they completed the service the next day to which rendered me car less for the entire day but whatever. So I picked up the car and the gentlemen told me that the car is riding good but he noticed some coolant fluid on my transmission. I said coolant fluid on my transmission? That doesn’t sound right. You’re saying that I have a leak? He said he wasn’t sure but bring it by tomorrow morning when the car is fairly cold and he’ll check it out. Man I ain’t got time. I practically took off the entire day from work dealing with this car and I have to be back at work tomorrow morning. I’ll bring it back by when I can. This was in June. Fast forward, a few later, took it drivers for another oil change and decided to have them take a look at the “coolant leak” as well. This time it was a young lady that service me and said that nothing was wrong with the car but she recommended that I get my brake fluid and my spark plugs changed. No mentioning of the coolant leak so I’m assuming I’m good. Yesterday (Sunday), my car begin to run hot so I took it to drivers this morning out of convenience to be told I needed a water pump (because it was leaking coolant), AC Belt, Thermostat, and Pulley which it came out to almost $2,000. Normally, I would chunk this into the “sh*t happens” category but because of my history with this business sirens are going off in my head. First, you recommended a coolant flush. Didn’t need it but you recommended it and I declined. Next, I needed motor mounts to which you “notice” some coolant on my transmission to which you told me to come the next day when my car was cold to check for a leak. Didn’t come next day but came a couple weeks after. When I did come back for an oil change a few weeks after that (car was fairly cold), you didn’t notice even notice a coolant leak, and now two months later I need all this work done because of this supposedly coolant leak thats going to run me $2,000 to which my warranty is only covering the water pump change for $600. Now I can’t confirm nefarious acts but this is all so suspicious considering my history with them. My advice is to stay away. There are many reputable mechanics out there that will give you HONEST service.
***Updated Post***Drivers Auto charged me $2700.00 to fix an oil leak, but Im still having the issue and Drivers declined a refund. Drivers stated they were able to fix my leak but the issue is still occurring. I contacted Drivers Auto and I was told the issue is something Audi has to fix and referred me to Audi. When I asked about the $2700.00 I paid them for this issue, they told me Audi will reimburse the money. After going back and forth with Drivers Auto and Audi, Audi stated Drivers Auto charged me for parts and labor that were NEVER replaced. I contacted Drivers Auto to speak with the Owner or Corporate office and I was told to fill out the online questionnaire and someone would contact me. After a month of filling out questionnaires NO ONE from corporate has reached out about the issue, and Drivers still have $2700.00 of my money, and my oil leak is still happening. The only person I have spoken with is Lauren (General Manager) but she only have customer service skills and cannot advise you about anything dealing with your vehicle. Ive been declined access to speak with the owner, corporate office, and anyone above the General Manager. FOR ANYONE WHO HAS A BRAIN, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE PLACE IF YOUR FINANCES MATTER.Each and every time I need service done on my car, Drivers takes care of it. I love the customer service and quality of service they have provided throughout the years on my vehicle. No need to look anywhere else.
Lauren and Alex are great! I have had my last 6 oil changes at Drivers Auto and has always been a great experience.
( Actual rating is 0) This place is a Scam! I tell you a Scam! They just over price you on the tiniest things, then return your car with more problems. When you point out to them the problems that arise after they fixed your car, they even go ahead to charge you more. I ended up paying $1599 to this place but my car is still not working. My car still overheated to the point of stopping while I was driving it. This establishment should be shut down! TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE!
Lauren and Josh are always super sweet and very helpful. They truly care about making sure everything is well taken care of and that you’re getting the best service. 10/10
Very helpful and attentive to my questions, all in all, great customer service.
After buying a 5 pack of oil changes a few months ago, I sent my daughter to simply get her oil changed before driving across the country back to school. Now she has an OIL LEAK which they say is going to cost $1400 to repair. These guys are frauds, and wear a nice face and demeanor to sell their obvious b/s. We just had our personal mechanic fix her car and do a complete inspection of the vehicle not even a month ago and there were NO PROBLEMS. Now I send her here for a simple oil change and she now has a $1400 OIL LEAK. THIS PLACE IS DISHONEST and A SCAM. I could care less about the 3 more oil changes I paid for, as I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE, much less, send your child here to get scammed after a simple oil change on a vehicle that had NO LEAKS.
Jonathan and Lauren were amazing. They did speedy and professional work, helped with pricing and were attentive to helping me get back on the road expeditiously. I will use them any time I’m in the area.
Lauren did an excellent she got me in and out in less than a few hours.
Lauren was great she kept me up to date with my vehicle and she was very friendly and professional. She saved me some money from repeated purchase of oil changes and got me to buy the five pack. I will advise everyone I know to come here!!!
