Ive been a customer here for many years. I drive from Katy to this nail salon every 3 weeks or so. Vicky is excellent! I wont have my nails done anywhere else. I drive 35 minutes b/c I always get great service and nails that look great and last.

This is a hit and miss nail salon. Some visits are great as to others arent so great. You should definitely provide some guidance to some of the technicians if not your final look will be a little disappointing. I gave 3 stars due to the fact todays visit was better than others.

Recently moved to Houston and have been looking for a place that does a good job on manicures and pedicures for a reasonable place and this is it. I came in and it was clean, they were quick with quality and didn’t rush to get me out. I got the shellac manicure and a pedicure and I’m loving it. I will definitely be going back.

Vicki is the best! Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel special. Helen is very good as well.

I would have given higher stars for the first time I went in to get my eyebrows waxed.The young girl, with the earpiece attached, & talking to whoever in her native language showed her lack of professionalism. She didnt even greet me or anything. She would only just tap me on the shoulder for me to check on the mirror.My eyebrows turned out uneven. It may not have shown in my face, but I was very upset.They are lucky I even tipped at all, $3.00 to be exact, because that stupid girl, shouldnt even be working if shed rather talk on the phone than actually work. And if she is good with eye brows, then she should have better concentration.Very displeased. If you go in today, as of Thursday, 08/09/18, for eye brows, stay away from the young girl with a shirt, pony tail, & most importantly with the earpiece.

Love this place! Always clean, and pretty. The staff always makes conversation with you and remember exactly who you are! Did my nails this past Saturday.. Im in love with them!

VICKI - She is the Best, Refills, Manicure, Pedicure. I have been going to her for over 16 years, even when she worked in other salons. You will be very happy if she is your Nail Girl !

I went to get a pedicure & full powder set & less then 24 hours my nail came clean off & one coming up. I am not from down here but they had the olive green wanted. I was heading back home so i call & asked can i get a refund & the lady said yes but I had to come in before I leave. I get there & she tell me since im there she will fix it no refund even tho i need to go. I asked for just a refund because if the others come off I wont be able to come back. She refused & said only will fix the two messed up & if more break come back. Now a 3rd nail is coming up & i am almost home.

A friend recommended this location. Im thrilled at my nails. Helen was excellent. Also the price was more than fair. Ill back!

Ive had my nails done here before, now I remember why I stopped coming. The owner did my nails and they look like a beginner did them. They are warped and none of them look like the same shape and she didnt clean them right, so all the acrylic dust was left behind. THEY LOOK CHEAP AND DIRTY. She also makes you feel like you did something wrong and thats why they look ugly. I will post pics as well. I will never come back again.

Ive been to this place twice and Ill go again. Service is great! Kim does a great job on my nails. The place is very clean, roomy and bright.

Looks like they are under new management. Went in for my usual gel manicure was surprised by the remodel and obvious new management (although they said everyone was on vacation). I decided to give it a try anyway took 1hr for the manicure 1 hand very uneven compared to the other and the polish is bumpy. I will definitely not be back and will miss my old friends (manicurist)

Great prices for the amount of work the do. I got a pedicure and a shellac manicure, I have paid waaaay more for these services at other places but I got more at Star. Also, they have a loyalty program, after 10 visits you get $10 off the following visit.

Since i’ve moved to houston this has been the only nail salon that has stayed consistent and never disappoints me, i highly recommended coming here everyone is great

Came in for an overlay she did a decent job ..but left unnecessary acrylic around my nail. And not friendly at all

I tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago to get a set of acrylics. I left very frustrated. I asked for almond shaped nails and even brought a picture of exactly what I wanted. However, when I left my nails were an assortment of rounded, stiletto and ballerina shapes. Every time I pointed out (politely) that I didnt like the shape my manicurist would get frustrated, fix one and then continue messing them up so I just gave up trying to get her to fix it! She rushed the polish also so it came out lumpy and it really needed another coat. I had to go home and fix them. Also they charge extra for rounded nails, regardless of length. Overall terrible experience, wont be returning 😔

Im so sad to leave this review. I came in for the shellac .... I came in with long nails and left crying with short nails 😣😢.... they switch ladies and she did try to fix it but the damage was done 😔 Ill come back for acrylic nails but not shellac. Its gonna take me a whole month to get them back to the length I had them 😭

Worst place ever!!! I think they use cheap acetone didnt even cut off the nail just had me soaking them. Bad customer service and owner doesnt care still makes you pay mostly full price for the bad service. Do not come here!!!

I have fungus on my nails. When I ask the lady if it was fungus she said no and kept working. The next week the nails started to break. I wont be going back!!!

I literally just got my nails done a day ago,and now I’m missing about 4 nails😡
