Everyone is really NICE !! I got the 35 Hot stone pedicure it’s worth it .. I left all shined up ready for this Texas heat .. My only complaint is I think he needed to stretch first because he seem tense 😬.. He was really nice tho and took his time !!

Never had a problem when I woud receive service, but I allow my 15 year-old to go by herself and they took advantage of her. Not only did they do a horrible job on her nails, bumpy acrylic, 1 day later 2 nails popped off but they burnt her eyelid while waxing her eyebrow! Not okay with a place that would take advantage someone that may not be able to speak up for them self. 75 dollars on this! No maam not okay!

I read some of the previous reviews and knew that this salon needed new talent. They knew it as well and hired two new technicians. Angel and a friend came to this salon from another location. I will follow her where ever she goes.We all know the unspoken truth about the lives and work of nail technicians. So when you find one who knows their craft, has a good soul, and cares for the customer, follow them to the ends of the earth.Make an appointment with Angel. You wont be disappointed.

I asked for acrylic nails but the lady went out of her way to do everything but what I wanted. Never checked with me to see if I agreed with her idea. She gave me shellac nails that are just horrible! I picked out my color powder and I showed her and she ignored the colors I picked and choose similar colors in nail polish! I told her I asked for powder and she said “oh no trust me this is easier for you to come back to get a refill” 1. I won’t be back for any services and 2. I’m super upset with myself for not standing up for my self more then I already did. Overall I have never had someone blatantly do whatever they wanted and just ignore me. I hate these nails and the salon has proven they can not provide you with what you want done.

This is by far the WORST salon I have ever been to. The Quality is beyond poor everything was rushed and it showed. Will never be coming back to this establishment I didn’t get what I paid for they don’t have enough experience. My nail tech couldn’t even offer me ombré nails so I went with plain white “coffin” nails and not even that was she able to do. Horrible. ... Btw that pedi is ONLY A DAY OLD!!!

The service it self was nice but as for quality and price not so much. My tan powder acrylic started to turn colors from the sun after a week along with some trying to pop off. Also I asked for thin coffin shape and they almost looked like square tip almonds. I paid $60 for this full set. Im just gonna go back to LV on north shepherd. At least Ill get the quality I pay for. The people where friendly tho.

NEVER AGAIN. This was my first and last time at this salon. I was visiting my fiance in Houston and decided to stop by at this place to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. When I walked in, I told receptionist the services that I wanted and I was rushed over to the pedicure area. They didnt even let me look at the nail polish for my pedicure as they were rushing me to sit down. I normally get two different colors on my toes and fingernails, but after being rushed to the seat I decided to do the same color on both to make it easier for them and myself.Pedicure $25 - the man doing my pedicure was horrible. He was way too rough on my feet and toes and literally cut/reshaped my toe nails to a point where they looked horrible and they were cut so deep down that I havent been able to walk right for days since Im in pain from this pedicure. I literally had to say ouch five times and he still didnt stop (he did not speak english and though I was kidding around when I said it hurt?!). Not to mention, the way he layered down the nail polish was so bad - as if my three year old niece was giving me a pedicure. Nail polish all over my skin and cuticles. I will not post a picture of my toes since they are that horrible and I do not want to scar you with my toes.Gel Manicure $25 (which chipped after only ONE day) - the lady was doing my manicure as I was sitting on the chair for the pedicure. I was in pain from the rough pedicure, and the lady kept telling me to stay still. She did not cut my cuticles, buff my nails or even attempt to file my nails to a decent shape (I HAD TO FILE MY NAILS BY MYSELF AFTERWARDS). The manicure was extremely sloppy and fast. She didnt even add lotion to my hands.... see picture. (nail chipped and gel polish lifting from being too close to the cuticle)I would never go back here again.

Sophia is truly a miracle worker!! She makes my nails look so GREAT that everyone assumes theyre mine own. The service is also great with an upscale atmosphere. Prices are also reasonable. Its good to support a neighborhood business!!!

Great place for pedicure! Took my daughter & 4-year-old granddaughter. They were SO attentive to my granddaughter & did a great job. My daughter got the shoulder massage, too, and loved it. Will definitely make this my go-to pedicure place when in Houston.

I have gone to Ella for years!!! I have tried other places and nothing can beat it! Every time I walk in they know me personally and are very nice. They always ask me if I need water. I have recommended and will keep doing so!!

My daughter and I started coming here fpr pedicures and acrylic nails about a year ago. We shopped around and this one had great reviews. We tried it and we were very happy with the results However, the past two times that we have gone in, one of us has gotten cut to the point of bleeding . And one of the techs didnt wear gloves tonight. 😳 Now Im thinking we may have to shop around again. There are a few great technicians there but the new ones are not on the same level at all. Please, please monitor the new hires. I want to continue supporting this salon.

I went and got my nails done on Friday July 31st I asked for coffin shape and I got i dont know what because it definitely wasnt coffin my total wS $40 for medium length and today is Tuesday August 4th and my nails have hairline cracks shabby service personally I wouldnt recommend this place overly priced for shabby services

Too expensive owner is rude and it seems like your rushed to get out. Just because Ive been there several times they dont pay attention to detail anymore. My nails chip as soon as I leave for my pedicure. I paid over the weekend for my Mother and I over over 180.00. Not including tip, we did not feel that they placed the attention that they should have. I asked and PAID for a ten min. massage I didnt even hear the timer ring before the guy said it was done. I also was not going to tip him but the owner made sure to ask me for the tip for him. Very unprofessional when her own staff is there making fun of her when her back is turned. My Mother and I feel rushed. I was treating her from out of town and she didnt do a good job. After ten years of going there and going twice a month I will definitely start looking for a better place. Dont let this place fool you or take your money!

Prices are very reasonable. And the neck massage is outstanding. I was helped right away as a walk in. And it was easy to pay with credit card. My pedicure was done well also.

I had my nails done here amd they came off in 9 days. One by one. Of course I have to wash my hands etc. The nails should have lasted longer than that. I need to find another place now.

Where is the option to show just half a star? Never in my life have I had all 5 toe nails buffed in one single stroke! And it only got worse. Its a shame that one employee (he never gave me his name, nor did he even look me in the eye) ruined my experience.

Ella Nails provides an excellent service. Their mani/pedis are the best! The salon is very clean & comfortable & they do a great job of making sure no one has to wait long.

There are three nail salons at this corner, and I’m glad I picked this one! I came at 10:00am on a weekday and they were not busy. They are very fast, having two people work on your hands and feet simultaneously. I brought my baby who started fussing, and one of the ladies rocked him back to sleep. Huge plus!! Thank you for a great visit for this new mom. :)

One guy has a super good massage skill, I like it a lot. Nail service is good too, I have bad nails, and they polish it like a boss. I will come here everytime when I need my nails done. My nails now shine like diamonds

The atmosphere is so so and the location seems shady but this place is awesome. VERY reasonably priced and a standard manicure is 1 hour! The most thorough mani in town. Call ahead to make an appointment because they get busy!

Went a couple times because its close to house, will not go back. theyre good with hand nails but bad with pedicures. Tried 3 different people for pedicure, everytime went home with bad callouses. Also too expensive for level of service/location.

The Customer service is amazing and everytime I go I always feel at home. Lee Lee is my personal nail and pedi technician. She always does an amazing job however, whomever you ask for will do good for you! Lynn is the owner and she is always pleasant when I call to make an appointment or if I am a walk in client. I reccomend you try them again for the first time!!

I have been a patron of this nail salon for many years - Their work has ALWAYS been Top Notch, with incredibly polite and professional staff. The owner has recently opened another salon in the Memorial City area. I wish her the best of success. In full disclosure, I did have a technician that was hamstrung by the language barrier and she was either scared or had an attitude. Not sure. I knew I was in trouble when I asked for the shape of rounded square, which everyone knows in the nail business, meant straight across the top with the corners rounded off. I whined to Lin, the owner, she stepped in and smoothed things over. Shes the ultimate business woman. However, I prefer anyone but her to do my nails because shes so intent on her customers walking in and getting them assigned to a tech that she can easily be distracted and miss the finer points of filing. Still, I give this salon 5-stars. Would go nowhere else! $22 for a shiny pedi that lasts for at least a month! The pink-and-white solar nails are attention-getters! Beautifully done! Mine have remained intact for as long as SIX WEEKS! Try them ~ you might just find the nail salon youve been looking for!

I have been to many nail salons in Houston -- thought I would try this once since it is so close to my new home. The customer service is very poor. The environment is in bad shape. The overall experience is not up to par with other salons in the Houston area.

The service was quick but Im very sure that the tools were not cleaned properly between uses. Plus the shellac was put on so thinly that it chipped after 3 days. Very disappointed overall.

Ella has a beautiful and classy selection of both dip in and shellac colors. When Sophie did my nails, I opted for the dip in and she did a wonderful job.The staff is very friendly. In fact, when I walked in, Mai Tai was eating something that resembled a flattened funnel cake. When I asked him what is was, he immediately went to the back and brought one out for me to try. It was heavenly! Lynn The owner, makes them, secret family recipe. I tried to get it :), but she makes it different every time. They also offered me a bottle of water which is typical, I know, but some of the other places Ive been to in Houston looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for water. Additional services: They charge $10 for a 10 minute massage. $20 for a 25 minute massage and I highly recommend trying this. DO IT. It is worth EVERY penny!! Call ahead though and put your name on the list and the time you want to come in if you dont want to feel rushed. Prices are comparable and I would say on the lower end. As most know, stick with the basic, dont go deluxe, you end up spending more than you should. That goes for every nail salon.TIP: They prefer cash or check. Also, I have a feeling the ladies might do a better job in general here for both manis and pedis.

My experience was awful being looked at crazy because I like my feet to look nice being charged 25.00 and my feet look a mess looking at me crazy the staff the whole time I was there in the neighborhood where I am from OakForrest I will never go there as long as I live just very bad work my big toes where damaged and they where filed ugly one didnt even look the same I would not recommend any one to go there just bad service just bad .

There is a shop that was taken over by another person. Location is at 10919 Jones Rd, Houston. Next door to Black Eye. If it is not affiliated disregard, but if you know you are connected to this nail shop, then I must share this review. **Horrible job done today, and it took 2 hrs! No one else was there, but me. I believe the owner did my refill. She was the older lady there with long brn hair. Was only going for refill but persuaded me into pedi. Cannot believe Im out $52 plus $5 tip! I know I just felt like they still gave me their time, even if it was crappy svc. Not worth it! The owner put sooo much black powder on my nail. Clumped it on sloppily. I was getting blk tips only. Then she repeated the same sloppy process with the pink powder. Then took about 20 mins of sanding my nail down because she put sooo much powder. She ended asking the pedi lady to help with sanding because it was taking sooo long. Eventually, sanded down but could not make them round like I asked. They just did not get what i was saying to do. Just more round than square tips, thats all. Last, she buffed my nails with very little cream. I thought this was something new, then the gel to get the shine. But no, that was it! No gel! They said ok youre done. I asked what about gel? She says thats why I buffed them. I had never had that done, ever! My nail had a slight shine in the center of my nail but no high gloss like you get with gel. She said next time you come tell me you want gel and itll be $5. What?! I told her no one has ever charged $5 for gel. She said no they all charge you dont know it. I told her I always pay $25 at 3 different shops and they all charge $25 for refill and they all gel my nails. So I told her to do gel after all. She did it and 3 hours later after setting, they have lost most of their shine! I am so upset and will spread the word of what bad service this new place offers. The pedi was ok. Great massage but the polish job and sanding looks like my daughter did it. Ok not a $22 job at all! I had to ask her to clean polish around my nail. If I can see it from 3ft away, I know you can! Crappy, sloppy, over-priced wanna-be mani-pedi shop!

Its really not worth your money. I took my wife there for our anniversary and the place does not compare to other places we have been down the street. Their prices are not competitive and their ladies seem like they are in a rush to get you out. Especially the owner looks money hungry.
